The Chrysler 300C is on its way out the door, but before it leaves, it’s having one final send-off. The luxury sedan has dominated the car segment since 2004 and now, after nearly 20 years, Chrysler is retiring it. While more powerful vehicles have sprouted, the 300C has remained strong given the vast amount of updates Chrysler has provided the sedan over the years. In one last update, Chrysler will be equipping the 300C with a powerful 6.4L Hemi V8 engine. Alongside the powerful V8, Chrysler is also providing the 300C with some extravagant upgrades both inside and out. The automaker has stated that only 2000 units of the 300C will be sold in the US so we’ll take a closer look at the burly sedan and see what consumers can expect.

2023 Chrysler 300C Sees One Last Powerful Update

The 2023 Chrysler 300C will receive one final update before Chrysler ceases production of the luxury sedan. Having run for nearly 20 years, Chrysler has decided to discontinue the sedan in favor of EVs. Like many automakers, Chrysler aims to incorporate EVs into its lineup as the broader industry focuses on renewables and green solutions. As it makes its transition, the automaker plans to send one of its iconic vehicles off with a bang. Debuting in 2004, the Chrysler 300 would set the foundation for muscle cars as they strove to increase overall performance. Fast forward to today and Chrysler is equipping the luxury trim with a powerful 6.4L Hemi V8 engine that’s capable of 485 horsepower and 475 lb-ft of torque. To handle such a powerful engine, Chrysler has upgraded the sedan’s chassis and drivetrain. There’s also an anti-spin rear differential and a stiffer suspension.

Alongside the powerful 6.4L Hemi V8 engine, Chrysler is also outfitting the 2023 Chrysler 300C with extravagant styling both inside and out. For its exterior, the luxury sedan sees visual enhancements like red brake calipers, black chrome accents, and a large 300C badge on the front grille. Inside, the sedan gets black Laguna leather seats with silver contrast stitching on the doors and dashboard. Additionally, the sedan sees heated and ventilated seats plus a panoramic sunroof. In terms of equipment, there’s an 8.4-inch infotainment system along with a 19-speaker sound system. As for safety, the 300C sees advanced brake assist, lane departure warnings, blind spot monitoring, and more.

Overall, the 2023 Chrysler 300C is one big powerful package wrapped in luxury. As such, Chrysler will only be selling 2000 units in the United States, meaning those interested will have some tough competition. The 2023 300C will be priced at an MSRP of $56,595 (plus destination fee). While this is the final send-off for the luxury sedan, perhaps the 300 nameplate will reemerge as Chrysler focuses its efforts on EVs. For now, we’ll be staying tuned.
