2018 Chrysler 300C is a High-End Large Sedan
Available since 2005, the Chrysler 300 has evolved into what is one of the market’s more affordable luxury sedans. While many people don’t think of Chrysler being a luxury brand, the Chrysler 300 is nothing but luxury, and of the five available trims, the Chrysler 300C is the most luxurious.
Taking things up a notch, the Chrysler 300C is equipped with a 363-horsepower 5.7-liter HEMI V8 engine, rather than the 3.6L V6 engine that is standard on the other 300 trims. The 5.7L HEMI V8 engine is paired to an 8-speed automatic transmission, and together the engine and transmission produce 394 lb-ft of torque, which provides a very smooth acceleration.
Luxuries for the South Florida Climate
The interior of the Chrysler 300 is where the 300 really outshines other full-size sedans. All seats in the Chrysler 300 are covered in soft leather and heated, and the front seats are ventilated, which is a great feature in a place as hot as South Florida. Other features that help the driver and passengers beat the heat include the front and rear solar control glass, dual automatic dual zone air conditioning, heated and cooled front cup holders and the available power backlight sunshade.
Sleek Interior
The Chrysler 300C has a lot of little details that make the interior look and feel like a luxury space on wheels. The interior is available in three different color schemes, deep mocha, black and a combination of indigo and linen. The dashboard features a large 8.4-inch touchscreen, an analog clock, an outside temperature display, a compass gauge and a luxury steering wheel. Additionally, the cabin has an air filtering system that keeps the air fresh. The vehicle is equipped with a 12-volt center console power outlet, and there is also an available wireless charging pad by Mopar.
Advanced Technology
All of the entertainment and tech features in the Chrysler 300C are top-of-the-line. The 8.4-inch touchscreen is a high-resolution full-color display and it is synced up to an HD digital radio and Uconnect 4C, which is the most up-to-date and advanced infotainment system offered by FCA. The Uconnect 4C system is compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and it is linked up to a premium 6-speaker system, and a 10-speaker BeatsAudio sound system is available. Drivers can easily control the vehicle’s entertainment system via the touchscreen, integrated voice command with Bluetooth or the controls on the steering wheel.
Exterior
The exterior of the Chrysler 300C is just as snazzy as the interior. The Chrysler 300 has smooth curves and a platinum grille and it rides on 20-inch polished aluminum wheels. The vehicle has a dual rear exhaust with bright tips, and the exterior mirrors are power, heated and chrome. Buyers have the option of a dual-pane panoramic sunroof and a remote fuel door release is a nice convenience feature.
The 300C’s lighting is exceptional. Fog lights come standard and the front headlights are wrapped in chrome bezels and the lights are adaptive bi-xenon High-Intensity Discharge (HID) headlamps that feature an automatic headlamp leveling system. The tail lights are also wrapped in chrome and they are LED lights.
