A Whole New Generation of the Chevy Traverse

For the 2018 model year, Chevy will introduce a new generation of their eight-passenger SUV, the Chevy Traverse. From Chevy’s recently released details, we can see that the all-new 2018 Chevy Traverse is designed with comfort and style in mind and it has been engineered with power and capability as top priorities. Style and Design

The new 2018 Traverse crossover SUV has a modern and fresh exterior design. The body is elongated and sleek and it has a longer wheelbase than previous models. Exterior features like LED lighting, chrome accents, and D-optic headlamps give the all-new Traverse a distinct and contemporary look.

When it comes to the interior, there are three rows of seating and room for eight passengers. The 2018 Traverse will come with best-in-class cargo volume, as well as best-in-class passenger volume and plenty of legroom in the third row. The enhanced smart slide seat system provides up to 98.5 cubic feet of cargo volume, more than enough! Other interior features include a hidden storage compartment on the dash for wallets and other important items, a hidden storage compartment in the floor of the trunk, and noise canceling technology for a quiet ride.

Technology

As always the Traverse will come with advanced technology and connectivity features. The updated MyLink system will be in the Traverse. This system includes both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto systems allow for bluetooth music streaming, hands free calling, GPS, and more. Also, feature the apps on your phone, on the screen of the vehicle. The 4G LTE WiFi Hotspot will continue to be an available feature in the 2018 Traverse.

Engine and Capability

A nine-speed automatic transmission will come paired either with the 2.0-liter turbo engine or the 3.6-liter V6 engine. The vehicle will also comes with a new advanced fuel saving start/stop system. The 2018 Traverse has many drive modes available to enforce the highest level of capability. The different features/modes include normal, 4X4/snow, off-road, and tow/haul modes. Each mode changes torque/where torque is delivered to best fit the situation for the safest and most capable drive.
