Chevrolet has set its sights on improving their prized Corvette. Reports have shown they are expected to add a V8 motor and dual-clutch automatic as the newest generation Corvette will begin, listed as the “C8”, the 8th generation Corvette. The C8 is expected to be a massive upgrade over the previous C7 generation. The new Chevrolet Corvette will debut on July 19th, 2019 in Orange County, California. Not only will this latest Corvette be all-new, but we’ve also learned it will receive Chevy’s first mid-engine ever. This Chevrolet Corvette is going to have a possible 10-speed automatic transmission, but there will be no manual transmission.
