The 2021 Chevy Tahoe recently underwent a makeover that added more passenger and cargo room. Alongside this, the full-size SUV got a cabin and interior redesign along with an improved infotainment system. Capable of fitting 8 people, the revamped 2021 Chevy Tahoe offers a lot for those who enjoy a powerful but comfortable SUV.

Since the 2021 Chevy Tahoe received major changes and improvements recently, new additions to the 2022 model are likely to be minor. Either new colors or additions to the instrument cluster and infotainment system can be expected.

The rest of the trims except for the Z71 will offer a 3.0L I6 LM2 turbo-diesel Duramax which will offer 277 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque. All three engines will come with GM’s Hydra-Matic 10L80 10-speed automatic transmission. Rear-wheel drive will be standard on most trims except for the Z71. There may also be an option for four-wheel drive on certain trims.

2022 Chevy Tahoe Trims

Those interested in the 2022 Chevrolet Tahoe will be happy to know that several distinct trims will be available. For those seeking an off-roader style SUV, the Z71 trim will be ideal. Starting at $60,495 MSRP (plus destination fee), the Z71 will come with four-wheel drive and off-road-ready features like a heavy-duty air filter, recovery hooks, a transfer case, and 20-inch all-terrain tires.

The High Country trim will be good for those seeking a more performance-oriented SUV. Starting at $69,700 MSRP (plus destination fee), the High Country trim will feature a more powerful 6.2L V8 engine. It will also come with 22-inch wheels, a 15-inch head-up display, rear pedestrian alerts, and an HD surround vision camera.

The Premier trim is for those looking for a higher standard of comfort and luxury. Starting at $63,895 MSRP (plus destination fee), the Premier trim comes with features like magnetic ride control and power tilt steering. It will feature an 8-inch driver information display and some advanced safety features like lane-keep assist and lane-change alerts.

As indicated by Q1 2021 sale numbers, the 2021 Chevrolet Tahoe has quickly become a fan favorite in the full-size SUV sector.
