The Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Show is gearing up to take over the Las Vegas Convention Center from November 5-8, 2024. As this automotive extravaganza approaches, manufacturers and custom builders are scrambling to unveil their latest creations. Mopar, Stellantis’ performance division, ignited excitement with a tantalizing teaser of an immense Ram pickup truck.
What Can Attendees Expect from Mopar at SEMA 2024?
The only clue with the first SEMA 2024 teaser from Mopar is the title – “Chapter 1: Workhorse and Warrior. Obstacles on the job site or the trail are no match for this beastly full-size concept.” While details remain scarce, Mopar’s teaser hints at a formidable full-size pickup that will undoubtedly turn heads at SEMA 2024.
The Ram 1500 RHO vehicle’s distinct hood design, complete with heat extraction vents and a forward-facing scoop, might lead many Ram loyalists to believe that Mopar’s SEMA teaser is showcasing a new version of this popular performance truck. However, a closer look reveals a design element that sets this concept apart from the RHO and the standard Ram 1500.
An inspection of the grille reveals an intriguing mix of horizontal and vertical lines, a design cue not found on the Ram 1500 RHO. Moreover, the concept truck sports a unique headlight configuration with upper and lower lighting elements. While the Ram 1500 RHO lacks such distinctive grille and headlight components, these features bear a striking resemblance to the recently unveiled 2025 Ram Heavy Duty lineup, as displayed in the image below.

Ram Trucks Represent the “Workhorse and Warrior” Dynamic
The Mopar teaser depicts the truck in an eye-catching Mojave Sand hue, a color previously seen on the 2018 Ram 2500 Power Wagon and more recently on the special-edition 2025 Ram 1500 Rebel X, a tribute to the Rebel trim’s decade-long off-road legacy.
The Rebel X, itself a performance-oriented vehicle, appears to have significantly influenced the design of this new Ram 2500 concept. The presence of a front-mounted winch, a common feature on off-road-focused models like the Ram 2500 Rebel and Power Wagon, further reinforces the concept’s rugged capabilities.
Additionally, the teaser reveals a topographic map decal on the hood and orange tow hooks, further emphasizing the truck’s brawny and versatile nature. Mopar’s brief description highlights the vehicle’s ability to conquer obstacles, whether it is a challenging worksite or a rugged off-road trail.
This concept truck is anticipated to feature a wide array of Mopar-branded accessories, designed to elevate its off-road performance. From hardcore off-road components to performance-enhancing accessories, Mopar is committed to creating a build that is visually striking and highly functional. Ram Heavy Duty pickup truck admirers and off-road enthusiasts alike eagerly await the official unveiling of this exciting new concept.
