Automakers are increasing investments greatly in mid-cycle enhancements of vehicles in immensely competitive segments. With that in mind, Ram is preparing a mid-cycle refresh for its 2500/3500 Heavy Duty lineup for the 2025 model year. Sources indicate the brand is favoring its dependable fourth-generation series launched in 2010.

The most recent spy photographs showcase a camouflaged 2025 Ram 2500 Big Horn Regular Cab Long Box 4×4, offering Ram loyalists a glance at what is to come. It is worth noting that the Regular Cab model continues to form part of the lineup for 2025, much to the joy of countless Ram enthusiasts.

Exterior Aesthetics

As mentioned, these latest spy photographs depict a camouflaged 2025 Ram 2500 Big Horn Regular Cab Long Box 4×4, confirming that the Regular Cab model will continue into the new model year. The pickup truck was identified outside the manufacturer’s Auburn Hills Headquarters during the week of July 22, 2024.

Even though the pickup’s cab and box aesthetics undergo relatively minor alterations, the front fascia will receive a revamp influenced by the upgraded 2025 Ram 1500. The truck’s R-A-M badge is markedly different, however, placed higher on the grille than on the current model.

The all-new reflective-style LED headlamps appear to be quad lamps in the photographs and are likely modified by the camouflage tape. To that end, the headlamp shape is expected to mirror the present design. It will boast turn signals situated underneath the high and low beams. Even though the tail lights at the rear fascia are equipped to fit the fourth-generation box, they will integrate design components inspired by the updated Ram 1500.

Cabin Refinements

Although revisions to the interior are slight, they are also significant. For example, engineers are occupied with incorporating updated Uconnect 5 system software, suggested by the touchscreen display unit mounted on a temporary plate a few inches from the dashboard.

The general setup, including the dashboard and steering wheel, seems to be an extension of the current model, particularly in lower trim levels such as the Ram 1500. The automaker is leaving no stone unturned, as spy photographs even captured subtle touches like Little Trees’ new car scent air freshener dangling from the vehicle’s rearview mirror.

Expect Ram’s 2025 Heavy Duty Lineup at Miami Lakes Automall!

The Regular Cab models are expected to remain limited to the Tradesman and Big Horn trims for the 2025 model year. Even though assembly of the 2025 Ram Heavy Duty pickup trucks is anticipated to begin in the fourth quarter of 2024 at the Stellantis Saltillo Truck Assembly Plant in Mexico, Ram has not yet confirmed an official release date for production.
