2025 Kia Sorento PHEV Pricing Revealed with Some Updates

Just last week, the Kia Corp, or more specifically, Kia North America, announced the pricing for the new 2025 Kia Sorento Hybrid. With some new changes and details, the vehicle got some upgrades. Following suit, the 2025 Kia Sorento PHEV is obviously next. A plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) is all the craze these days, and the not-so missing link between gasoline car buyers and battery-electric vehicle (BEV) drivers.
Powertrain
A combination of a gasoline engine and an electric motor powered by a 13.8 kWh battery, the 2025 Kia Sorento Plug-in Hybrid will continue to generate 261 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque and provide an all-electric range (AER) of 30 miles. Combined, the Sorento PHEV has an EPA-estimated 74 MPGe in terms of fuel economy. This time around, all-wheel drive is standard.
Design
Sleeker and more distinctive, the Kia Sorento Plug-in Hybrid strikes out to stand as its own model and not just a copy-paste of the original Sorento. New lighting elements, including Kia’s signature Star Map lighting in the front and rear, now come standard. With a dash of personalization, Kia always adds new colors to the lineup. Why not upgrade the appearance with new colors, including Cityscape Green, Mineral Blue, and Volcanic Sand exterior colors? Inside, a new Dust Blue interior color has also been added to the portfolio of the 2025 Kia Sorento PHEV. The interior also comes with a new panoramic instrument panel with a 4.3-inch TFT, standard. Or, consumers can get a 12.3-inch instrument cluster, making up half of the 24 inches of digital screen available to the driver with another 12.4 inches for the touchscreen display, in the high-tier SX-Prestige trim. Also in the SX-P is a standard suede headliner, and ventilated front seats.
Tech
Featuring Kia’s ultramodern Connected Car Navigation Cockpit (ccNC) operating system, the classics are still available, with Wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay standard via Bluetooth connectivity. With available Digital Features and Services through Over The Air (OTA) updates enabled, new Kia models like the 2025 Kia Sorento Plug-in Hybrid will give consumers access to the Kia Connect store, where they can download various apps to further personalize their car driving experience. For now, the infotainment system is powered by Kia Connect, offering consumers a number of features.
In terms of safety, a number of convenience features have been added to the 2025 Kia Sorento PHEV. Available systems include Smart Cruise Control-Machine Learning (SCC-ML), a system that records the driving habits of the driver to mimic when enabled. There is also the available Highway Driving Assist 2 (HDA-2) system. A more autonomous program, the HAD-2 helps with automatic lane changes, maintaining a safe distance from the vehicle detected ahead, and staying between the detected lane markers on certain highways. For a touch of digital security, the SX-P comes with Advanced Digital Key 2.0 for sharing digital keys to the 2025 Kia Sorento PHEV.
With a great warranty and coverage plan, all Kia models are backed by an industry-leading warranty. The 2025 Kia Sorento PHEV is backed by a 10-year or 100,000-mile limited powertrain warranty, a 5-year or 60,000-mile limited basic warranty, and a 5-year or 100,000-mile limited anti-perforation warranty. And, oh yeah, the starting MSRP of the 2025 Kia Sorento PHEV is $47,990 (plus destination fee). Find the Kia Sorento PHEV and other new Kia models at Miami Lakes Automall.
