Dodge, Jeep, Chrysler, Ram 2016 awards

As 2016 comes to an end we are wrapping up an award winning year for Dodge, Jeep, Chrysler, and Ram. Each of these FCA brands have won many awards and reputable titles in 2016, including awards from Strategic Vision _ , Consumers Digest, WardsAuto, _ the IIHS _ , _ Active Lifestyle, and several more. Check out the details below. Happy New Year!

Strategic Vision

Strategic Vision is a research-based company that focusses on understanding human behavior including purchasing habits. In fact, Strategic Vision is very well respected in the automotive industry, which is why making a list from the company is huge. Studies conducted by Strategic Vision not only show what the sales numbers say, but what the consumers actually like, how much they like it and why.

This year Strategic Vision put out a couple lists regarding the most loved cars and SUV’s/trucks in 2016, The list was made based on a scale from 1(hate it) to 7 (love it). The scale took into consideration many features including user experience, emotional attachment, and more. The broad range of items taken into consideration is what helps to make this list so accurate. With that being said, five FCA vehicles made these lists including the Durango and Wrangler for SUVs/trucks and the Durango, Challenger and Charger for the cars list.

*_Consumers Digest_ *

Not just one, but four FCA brands had at least one vehicle make _ Consumers Digest’s _ “Best Buy” list in 2016. Vehicles that made the cut include the Dodge Durango, Ram 1500, Chrysler Pacifica and the Jeep Renegade.

*_WardsAuto_ *

_ WardsAuto _ is another extremely reputable source in the automotive world. _ WardsAuto _ puts out many lists and stories each year for all sorts of different categories to help those in need of some good and respectable research when looking at vehicles. Good news, FCA vehicles made it on several of these lists this year.

The Chrysler Pacifica seems to be a favorite of _ WardsAuto _ this year with it’s name on several lists including “10 Best Interiors”, “10 Best User Experience Vehicles” and the Pacifica Hybrid’s engine made it on the “10 Best Engines” list.

NHTSA Safety Ratings and IIHS Safety Picks

Getting a five-star overall safety rating by the NHTSA or being named a IIHS “Top Safety Pick” is a great accomplishment, especially considering that only 30 2017 vehicles have been named IIHS Top Safety Picks, so far. Many FCA vehicles like the 2017 Chrysler Pacifica, 2017 Chrysler 200, 2017 Dodge Charger, 2017 Dodge Challenger and many more received five-star overall safety ratings. FCA vehicles named “Top Safety Picks” for 2017 include the Chrysler 200 and Pacifica.

Active Lifestyle

The Active Lifestyle awards are unique because the competing vehicles are rated by people who live active lifestyles including off-roaders, athletes, and health professionals. Therefore, the rating system shows not what car reviewing companies say, but what people who use these vehicles to off-road and be active think of the vehicle. The vehicles go through a two-day program where the vehicles are testing both on and off-road. Then, are judged and awarded based on how they did.

This year, both both Ram and Jeep won an award at the Active Lifestyle competition. The Ram 1500 Rebel won the “Best Value” award in the off-road category. This isn’t surprising considering the power, off-road features, and capability that come packed in the vehicle. Then, the Jeep Cherokee Summit EcoDiesel won the “Green ALV” category because of its efficient engine that provides 28 mpg.

Others

That’s not all! Check out some of the other awards FCA vehicles won awards this year. More of the awards and Cars include the Manufacturers Cup and the Residual Value award for Dodge, the _ Kelley Blue Book _ named the Pacifica a “Best Buy,” and _ Four Wheeler _ named the Jeep Wrangler the “4X4 of the Decade.”

Congrats to FCA for an awesome year. Cheers to another great year in 2017! Happy New Years from us at Miami Lakes Automall.
