Best Jeep Wranglers You Can Only Find Used
Finding a used Jeep Wrangler is by no means a tough job. As one of the most popular vehicles in the U.S., there are plenty to choose from at Jeep dealerships and used car lots. But finding the best Jeep Wrangler–one that goes above and beyond in looks and performance–requires finding a special or limited edition version of the popular off-road SUV.
If that’s what you’re looking for, here’s a quick look at three of the best used Jeep Wranglers money can buy!
2014 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Dragon Edition
The Jeep Wrangler is known for being a rugged and hardcore off-road vehicle. It can feature added options that create a more luxurious experience for owners, but it’s by no means marketed as a high-end vehicle. With the 2014 Dragon Edition , however, Jeep wanted to showcase its ability to take the Wrangler Unlimited and create something unique for its biggest fans.
Featuring a striking black exterior, the Dragon Edition features beautiful gold accents on the Wrangler’s iconic front grille and the custom black-finished aluminum wheels. On top of the completely one-of-a-kind look, the Dragon Edition gets it name from the Chinese dragon that can be seen painted starting from the hood to the middle of the left-side passenger door.
Move to the inside and you’ll find more gold accents, with the dual-color steering wheel, dashboard accents, door handles, seat stitching, and more! If you want to feel like a million bucks without actually spending it, this is the car for you.
2013 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Moab Edition
If you’re a serious Jeep enthusiast, you know what Moab means. Located in Utah, this area of the country is easily the best place to test your off-roading skills and get the most out of your Jeep. To pay homage to the trails and Jeep events that have taken place at Moab, Jeep created the Moab Edition Wrangler in 2013.
There’s nothing flashy about the Moab Edition, like you’ve just seen on the Dragon Edition; however, Jeep did add some interesting features to set the Moab Edition apart from other Wrangler models. The most notable additions are the steel front and rear bumpers, sculpted hood, and rock sliders that add subtle sophistication to the exterior while remaining functional for off-roaders.
It also features a limited-slip differential–which is an added extra on the Sport or Sahara Wrangler models–allowing the Moab Edition to perform better off the beaten path. To help you tackle the best that the Moab region can throw at you, Jeep also included Goodyear’s SilentArmor off-road tires. These are some of the best tires you can find for the Wrangler, as they provide strength to withstand tough journeys, traction to get you through any situation, and yet they’re able to comfortably transition to regular driving.
2012 Jeep Wrangler Arctic Edition
Like the Dragon Edition Wrangler, the 2012 Arctic Edition Wrangler provides added style to set the special edition vehicle apart from standard models.
The Arctic Edition can be spotted first by its beautifully exterior colors–most notably the ice blue Winter Chill option. Looking closer, you’ll also find the unique “Arctic” logo featuring a Yeti peering over snow or ice. Variations of this logo are also found embroidered into the seat backs on the interior of the Arctic Edition Wrangler.
Speaking of the inside, the Wrangler’s usual black interior comes accented in white and orange. White along the dashboard, steering wheel, and doors; orange stitched around the edges of the seats.
At the end of the day, though, the Arctic Edition’s subtle signature is the Yeti footprint stamped onto the driver-side’s front fender flare.
We all want a vehicle that will stand out from the crowd, and these used Jeep Wranglers are a great way to save money and get a beautiful, limited-edition vehicle that you’ll be proud to show off for years to come.
