What’s New For 2022?

The Chrysler 300 sedan is set to return for its 2022 model year, and with it comes a simplification of the lineup but with a lavish amount of configurations to work with. For the most part, the exterior has maintained its classic wide body that we love to see and also has plenty of features that only help to enhance the experience in the cabin. New 300’s all come with a new N95 cabin air filter and the Comfort Group package, with the Touring L and 300S cars featuring an optional security alarm.

Styling

The 2022 300 sedan has stood the test of time with its defined lines, sculpted cheeks, and voluminous body. The two lesser trims involve a Chrome Appearance package that includes 20-inch polished alloy wheels, chrome-finished side mirror housings/window trim, and a deluxe-looking grille. For a more intensified look on all of these exterior elements, consider getting the Sport Appearance package, which provides a blacked-out appearance.

In comparison, the interior is quite simple, but more in a way that reads “I’m the new classic!” It has an 8.4-inch infotainment touchscreen and a 7-inch instrument cluster. The analog clock and rotary gear shifter allow for a more progressive touch. Then, the Appearance Package on the 300S then tacks on body-colored aerodynamic accessories at the front, sides, and rear, along with upscale fog lights.

Performance

The 300 model has a standard 3.6-liter V6 powertrain, with a RWD system and optional AWD. It has an excellent output of 292 hp and 260 lb-ft of torque. This powertrain uses its 8-speed automatic to transfer power to either the rear or all four of the wheels. Acceleration is quite satisfactory, but of course, you’ll get a better performance with the 5.7-liter V8 on the 300S model.

The 300S’s powertrain has an output of 363 hp with 394 lb-ft of torque, and uses an 8-speed automatic. The car can also move from 0 to 60 mph in under six seconds. Additionally, this model has paddle shifters that allow drivers to make personal changes to the gear.

Styling and Features

The inside of the 300 sedan is incredibly charming and endearing with its style and technological features. Passengers in the front seats will enjoy the best legroom that the cabin has to offer, along with plenty of truck space to work with (16.3 cubic-feet). Most models have Nappa leather material on the seats and even a heating feature for the front chairs.

In terms of the exact features that this 2022 Chrysler vehicle has in store, standard comforts involve keyless entry/ignition, dual-zone automatic climate control, N95 cabin air filter, self-dimming rearview mirror, LED lighting for the front cup holders, leather-wrapped steering wheel, and an 8-way power-adjustable driver’s seat. There’s also an 8.4-inch touchscreen that has Apple CarPlay/Android Auto smartphone integration, satellite radio, voice control, two USB ports, Bluetooth, and a 6-speaker audio system.

For a little extra doe, on the Touring L trim, you’ll get optional 18-inch alloy wheels, LED fog lights, remote start, heated front seats, Nappa leather seating surfaces, 8-way power-adjustable front passenger seat, front/rear parking sensors, blind-spot monitoring, and eligibility for more options, such as forward-collision warning.
