Chrysler Unveils New EV Concept Car

Chrysler recently unveiled an all-new electric concept car called the Halcyon. Designed to be fully autonomous, the Halcyon represents Chrysler’s design scheme for its future EVs. Most recently the automaker highlighted several of its new EV platforms including STLA Large, STLA Medium, STLA Small, and STLA Frame. These platforms will lay the foundation for Stellantis’ and Chrysler’s EV lineup. Chrysler has been focused on preparing its first EV so the Halcyon gives a preview of the automaker’s vision. Chrysler Reveals New EV Concept

Chrysler recently unveiled a new concept car called the Halcyon. Fully electric, the sleek and futuristic-looking car represents Chrysler’s future design vision. The automaker has stated that it wants to transition toward a fully electric lineup by 2028. While Chrysler has not yet debuted its first EV, all signs are pointing at a new fully electric crossover being the flagship EV for the automaker. The latest Halcyon concept EV serves as a pathway for Chrysler to follow. CEO Chris Fuell commented on the Halcyon stating,

“The Halcyon showcases innovative sustainable mobility solutions that embrace technology and offer value to customers,” said Chris Fuell. “The Chrysler Halcyon Concept brings to life a fully electric tomorrow through new technology suites from Stellantis that integrate with simple and pure aerodynamic design and a seamless, connected, and immersive cockpit experience.”

Chrysler CEO Chris Fuell mentions Stellantis’ new technology suites which include platform and software for the brand’s lineup. STLA Large would lay the foundation for full-size cars, crossovers, and SUVs. For software, advanced platforms like STLA Brain, STLA Cockpit, and STLA AutoDrive will enable cloud connectivity, intuitive screen displays, and autonomous driving capabilities. Looking at the Halcyon, a new brand logo can be spotted on the concept car’s wheels and steering wheel. This may serve as the new logo for Chrysler’s future EV lineup.
