A Look Inside the All-New Chevy Silverado EV

The all-new all-electric 2024 Chevrolet Silverado EV officially launched in the summer (2023). The all-electric pickup truck has been teased as a new competitor to other EV trucks like the Ford Lightning and Tesla Cybertruck. What To Expect Inside the 2024 Chevy Silverado EV

The all-new 2024 Chevy Silverado EV was released in the summer of 2023. The powerful and highly capable electric pickup truck is slated to come equipped with 510 horsepower and 625 lb-ft of torque. Those wanting greater performance can opt for the RST First Edition which will feature 664 horsepower and 780 lb-ft of torque. It will also offer up to 10,000 pounds of towing capacity. Regardless of trim, the truck will offer up to 450 miles of battery range. 

Inside the Chevy Silverado EV, owners will note ample space for both passengers and cargo. The all-electric truck comes available with a 4-door crew cab configuration with a 5-foot 11-inch cargo bed. Despite the singular option, drivers will enjoy sufficient headroom and legroom. For cargo space, there’s 10.7 cubic feet of cargo volume. Those in need of more space can take advantage of a unique feature that allows owners to fold the wall between the cabin and cargo bed down flat. This combined with the rear seats flipped forward gives additional room for excess cargo. For driver-assist features, the 2024 Silverado EV includes automatic emergency braking, forward collision warning, Super Cruise, a surround-view parking camera, and a head-up instrument display.  

As for the materials throughout the cabin, the 2024 Silverado EV boasts two different styles based on the preferred trim. The first trim available is the WT which is intended for fleet buyers. As such it features a cloth upholstery and black plastics. The second available trim is the RST First Edition. This trim is for those wanting a more lavish aesthetic as it boasts leather seating with contrast stitching. There’s also upgraded plastic on the dash and door panels along with a panoramic glass roof. Starting at an MSRP of  $77, 905 (plus destination fee), the 2024 Chevy Silverado EV is looking to be a highly capable truck with an appealing interior.
