The Mitsubishi Mirage and Mirage G4 continue to land in the lineup for every model year. Although the automaker seems more focused on its SUV models, these fuel-efficient vehicles are still pulling in consumers and diehard fans alike. The Mirage G4 makes a return for 2023 with a revised lineup. Check out the specs below.

Engine Type
The new revised lineup of the Mitsubishi Mirage comes with the ES, already equipped with continuously variable transmission (CVT) and doing away with a 5-speed manual transmission. That would make the lineup ES CVT, LE, BE, and SE for 2023. Under the hood is the same 1.2-liter Inline 3-cylinder DOHC engine, able to generate 76 horsepower and 75 lb-ft of torque. Optimized with MIVEC, Mitsubishi Motors own variable valve timing (VVT) technology, fuel economy also gets a boost here.
Driving and Handling
All models now come with CVT for seamless shifting between gears when turning or slowing down on the road – or speeding up. This leads to a fuel economy of 35 mpg in the city and 41 mpg on the highway.
Exterior
The features remain very much the same from the previous year. All trims come with LED taillights and halogen headlights until the SE trim, sporting LED low and high beam headlights and daytime running lights. Automatic headlights start with the BE trim, and the SE comes with exterior mirrors with turn-signal indicators. The standard wheels are 14-inch steel wheels wrapped in all-season tires, but the rest of the lineup comes equipped with 15-inch alloy wheels, same tires.
Interior
Many standard features return, following a similar pattern in the cabin. The Mitsubishi Mirage G4 lineup comes with a 6-way adjustable driver seat, 4-way adjustable passenger seat, automatic climate control, steering wheel-mounted audio and phone controls, and rear heater ducts. Fabric upholstery is the standard, with BE adding red stitching for a splash of color. Consumers will find a leather-wrapped gear shift knob on the BE (with red stitching) and SE trims, but only the SE trim comes with a leather-wrapped steering wheel and heated front seats.
Entertainment
Technology is fairly straightforward for the 2023 Mitsubishi Mirage G4. The lineup standard is a 7-inch smartphone-link display, a four-speaker stereo system, Bluetooth wireless technology, Apple Car Play and Google Android Auto capabilities. New and found on some modern cars is micro air filtration.
Safety and Security
The 2023 Mitsubishi Mirage G4 comes equipped with an advanced dual-stage airbags (including the driver’s knee airbag), anti-locking brakes, active stability control, three-point seatbelts, a LATCH child seat tether system, a rearview camera, and an anti-theft engine immobilizer. All vehicles are built with Mitsubishi’s signature RISE body construction method for keeping the driver and passengers safe. Advanced safety feature, forward collision mitigation system with pedestrian control, is standard on all trims. Only the SE trim also comes with lane departure warning.
All Mitsubishi vehicles are covered by a basic limited warranty for 5 years/60,000 miles, a powertrain limited warranty for 10 years/100,000 miles, 7 years or 100,000 miles of anti-corrosion coverage, and roadside assistance.
