2020 Ram 1500
The most significant change for Ram’s 1500 newest model is the addition of an EcoDiesel engine option. The EcoDiesel engines make the vehicle stronger and better than its previous model. Thanks to the EcoDiesel V6 engine, the 2019 Ram 1500 has more ability than any other half-ton diesel pickup available in America. The 2020 Ram 1500 has a towing capacity of up to 12,560 pounds, which moves this light-duty diesel to the head of its pack. Another cool feature is the Uconnect 4C. The Uconnect 4C has a 12-inch touch screen and 360-degree camera views. In comparison to other pickups, this pickup also has two times the storage space of any competing vehicle and an excellent safety system.

260 Max. Horsepower 5.7L HEMI V8 Avail. Engine Type 12,750 Pounds Avail. Towing
Engine Type For 2020, the EcoDiesel V6 is returning, and it’s an improved version from the previous EcoDiesel V6 that was seen in 2016. It generates more power and torque, which can support substantially higher tow ratings. The 3.0-liter EcoDiesel is still a turbocharged V6 diesel engine that is paired with a proven eight-speed automatic transmission. But everything else has been reimagined, and the transmission has been recalibrated to match. The EcoDiesel results in 260 horsepower and a class-leading 480 lb-ft of torque. It represents a gain over the engine that was replaced for 2020, which made 240 hp and 420 lb-ft of torque. So torque hasn’t only increased by 14%, but it’s also 400 rpm lower in the rev range, where its effects will be more useful for hauling and towing.
Towing The significant gains in the engine department add up a big increase in the EcoDiesel maximum tow rating. For the new 2020 engine, the Ram 1500 can tow as much as 12,560 pounds, which happens to be the highest diesel tow rating in its class. Ram’s diesel truck will get higher towing capacity and higher torque compared to any of its rivals.
Exterior Features The 1500 Ram comes in a new special edition. The Ram Rebel Black Appearance Group is just as it sounds. The Ram 1500 crew cab and quad cab are spacious, with a vast amount of interior storage and an optional split-folding tailgate.
