Performance
Engine Type
The 2019 Chrysler 300 lineup is offered in five different trims – Touring, Touring Plus, 300S, Limited, and 300C. A classic 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 engine capable of generating 292 horsepower is standard across all trims except for the 300C. The Chrysler 300C is powered by a best-in-class 5.7-liter HEMI V8 engine capable of generating 363 horsepower and available as an option on the 300S trim. Fuel economy is also a feature of the HEMI engine despite it being more of a performance type of engine. Equipped with a Fuel Saver Tech feature, the engine has sensors that detect when full power is unnecessary (i.e. highway cruising) and deactivates four of the eight cylinders to improve fuel efficiency.
Driving and Handling
All 2019 Chrysler 300 trims are paired to an automatic TorqueFlite eight-speed transmission regardless of the engine that powers them. Fuel economy is standard across all trims (except the 300C) at 19 mpg in the city and 30 mpg on the highway. The 300C has a fuel economy of 16 mpg in the city and 25 mpg on the highway. A Sport (Driving) Mode is also available on the 300C and 300S, with features such as an increased accelerator pedal response, raised transmission shift points, calibrated paddle shifters and electric power steering for sport performance settings.

The aggressive exterior design of the 300 remains untouched for the 2019 model year with its signature look seemingly intact. Automatic headlamps, Bi-Function halogen projector headlamps, chrome LED tail lamps, solar control glass, and heated exterior mirrors are standard across the 2019 300 lineup. All trims with the exception of the basic Touring trim have the option of an available dual-pane panoramic sunroof. Various aluminum wheel sizes and designs – 17-, 18-, 19-, or 20-inch – are available depending on the trim. Potential buyers also have up to nine colors to choose from to add a little personal taste: Bright White, Ocean Blue Metallic, Green Metallic, Gloss Black, Granite Crystal, Ceramic Grey, Maximum Steel, Billet Silver, and Velvet Red. The 300S has an available S Model Appearance Package with a body-colored fascia, premium SRT LED fog lamps, and a body-color rear spoiler, while the 300C enjoys a platinum chrome finish on its grille surround, exterior mirrors and door handles.
Interior Features
The interior features vary across the Chrysler 300 lineup depending on the trim. A rear 60/40 folding seat, dual-zone automatic climate control, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and an eight-way power adjustable driver’s seat all come standard. On the other hand, select trims offer leather upholstery, an auto-dimming mirror, a heated leather-wrapped steering wheel, heated and ventilated front seats, heated back row seats, a cargo net, and a backlight sunshade. The cabin of the 300S enjoys the addition of steering wheel-mounted paddle shifters, an analog clock with a nickel finish and blacked-out interior accents, meanwhile, the 300C trim features standard premium Nappa leather upholstery and a premium instrument panel.
