Ram is getting ready to relaunch its Ram BandVan program. Due to the global pandemic, most things have had to be canceled or postponed. Ram first initiated its BandVan program back in 2018 as a way to help emerging bands by providing them with a ProMaster BandVan. At the time, Ram partnered with SiriusXM and Pandora to give fans an opportunity to hear their favorite bands live. Ram had become the first automaker to offer SiriusXM with 360L and it was also the first to feature personalized stations powered by Pandora. Now all three companies are working together again to promote new and upcoming artists as well as iconic bands like the Foo Fighters. This fall, look out for the Ram BandVan as it crosses state lines bringing music everywhere it goes.
Ram is Hitting the Road
Ram is launching its Ram BandVan once again. The first group to be featured in the Back to Live Tour will be the Foo Fighters. They will be joined by Radkey. In addition to the Foo Fighters and Radkey, Ram will be supporting at least five other emerging artists. New content will be viewable at RamBandVan.com and on social media sites like YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram. The punk band Radkey will be the first act of the year. Speaking about the tour Radkey said,
“This has been a year like no other, and now to finally be back on the road rocking with fans in real life, is an incredible feeling,” said Radkey. “We are so thankful to Ram Truck, SiriusXM, and Pandora for our Ram BandVan, enabling us and fellow musicians alike to hit the road running and tour once again.”Radkey
Ram will be providing the touring artists with the ProMaster Ram BandVan. It will be equipped with SiriusXM so that the artists themselves can also enjoy a variety of ad-free music. Along with music, artists will be able to enjoy sports, talk, comedy, and other radio genres. The Back to Live Tour will use Ram’s recent ad campaign “Spotlight” with Dave Grohl as well as a feature-film documentary called “What Drives Us,” to start the musical journey off. Ram is excited to offer fans a return to normalcy. The automaker is also excited to help artists get on their feet and reconnect with their fans. As the vice president of Stellantis Marissa Hunter said,
“Our Ram BandVan program first launched in 2018 and we are thrilled to activate the next phase of the initiative to help support musicians doing what they love and bringing their fans the performances that they have missed,” said North America Stellantis Vice President Marissa Hunter. “As the brand that is ‘Built to Serve,’ we share mutual values of hard work and dedication with these talented artists, and it is our pleasure to provide them reliable, comfortable, and spacious ProMaster vans, supporting their careers and helping them to reconnect with friends and fans across the country.”Stellantis Vice President Marissa Hunter
Be sure to catch the Foo Fighters as they tour this fall inside the Ram BandVan. Alongside them will be at least five other musicians and groups so stay tuned for more details.

The 2021 Ram 1500 more than holds its own against its competitors when outshining the competitive full-size pickup segment. Not only is the Ram 1500 an impressive pickup, but it’s also far more modern than the rest — both inside and out. The biggest news about the 2021 Ram 1500 lineup includes the all-new Ram 1500 TRX powered by a supercharged 6.2-liter V8 with a whopping 702 horsepower. Designed as a competent off-roader, the Ram 1500 TRX is equipped with a sturdy off-road chassis and suspension, but when it comes to the interior cabin, every single Ram 1500 trim hits it out of the park. Stellantis — the new conglomerate formed when Fiat Chrysler Automobiles and PSA Groupe merged– vowed that by 2030 every nameplate under its umbrella, including Jeep, Dodge, Chrysler, Ram, Maserati, and other brands, will offer an electric vehicle. The company plans to fortify its efforts by easing into plug-in hybrid production of most models in the coming years to accelerate its global electrification plan and meet its own 2030 deadline. New platforms are already underway to support electric vehicles, and rumor has it that one of those platforms is destined for body-on-frame pickups and SUVs. If all goes according to plan, Ram Trucks should see its first all-electric offering by 2024. (more…)
In its latest collaboration, Ram Truck is joined by Dave Grohl from the Foo Fighters. Ram’s new multimedia campaign titled “Spotlight” gets the job done with three new videos that cover television, digital, and the Ram Truck brand social media channels. The campaign kicks off prior to Mother’s Day and coincides with the release of lead singer Dave Grohl’s “From Cradle to Stage” unscripted series. The spot was inspired by Grohl’s mother, Virginia Hanlon Grohl, and her critically acclaimed book. “From Cradle to Stage” follows Grohl’s previous directorial efforts with “What Drives Us,” a documentary that Grohl described as “a love letter to every musician that has ever jumped in an old van with their friends and left it all behind for the simple reward of playing music.” (more…)
Spring is in and the commercial truck season is among us. Ram Truck is currently giving commercial truck season its all with special incentives on its commercial lineup of heavy-duty pickups, vans, and even chassis cabs. A new advertising campaign titled “Giants”celebrates everyday American working-class heroes and highlights small businesses currently mobilized in helping their communities. The campaign’s main focus is to showcase the determination of the working class and its role in shaping the nation’s future.
One of the biggest perks of getting behind the wheel of a new vehicle is the ability to make it one’s own. Plenty of truck buyers love to accessorize their rides once they take the vehicle home, and owners of the latest Ram 1500 are no different. The best accessories and parts for Ram pickups come from Mopar, the brand’s official parts, service and customer care division. With hundreds of parts and accessories, it’s easy to get overwhelmed while sifting through the Mopar catalog. However, new wheels and tires, along with lift kits and light bars, tend to be some of the most common upgrades. Here are five parts and accessories from Mopar that take the 2021 Ram 1500 to new heights. (more…)
There’s a new-and-exclusive Mopar ‘21 Ram 1500 Special Edition pickup available from Ram Trucks according to Stellantis (Ram’s new parent company). Built with a unique package of Mopar performance parts and accessories, the Mopar ‘21 Ram 1500 Special Edition is an extremely limited affair with only 250 total units assembled. Of those 250 units, the U.S. will receive 210 of them, while our neighbors up north in Canada will receive the other 40 units. Based on the 2021 Ram 1500 Big Horn/Lone Star Crew Cab 4×4 trim and configuration, the new Mopar ‘21 Ram 1500 offers a variety of Mopar accessories that set it apart from the rest and reinforce the automaker’s no-compromise style. Buyers will have a choice of four exterior shades: Flame Red, Billet Silver, Hydro Blue, and Bright White. (more…)
Once again, the 2021 Ram 1500 TRX finds itself a “Truck of the Year” recipient. The Rocky Mountain Automotive Press (RMAP) deemed the new 2021 Ram 1500 TRX its “Truck of the Year.” All in all, especially as it begins rolling out across dealer lots, the 2021 Ram 1500 TRX remains the segment disruptor it was designed to be.
“There was some really great competition this year for ‘Truck of the Year’ in the Denver region. However, the Ram 1500 TRX was the run-away winner among the Rocky Mountain Automotive Press group of automotive journalists,” said RMAP President Craig Conover. The 2021 Ram 1500 TRX Strikes Again as the “Truck of the Year” (more…)
A promise made is a promise kept for Ram Trucks as the truck maker auctioned off the very first 2021 Ram 1500 TRX VIN 001. The Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale Auction raised a whopping $410,000 for The United Way for Southeast Michigan’s 2-1-1 helpline. The organization focuses on providing services for veterans and their families. Singled out to commemorate the launch of the Ram 1500 TRX and its 702 horsepower straight from the factory, Ram made exactly 702 units of the Ram 1500 TRX Launch Edition, of which sold out in under three hours. There’s no road — paved or not — that the Ram 1500 TRX can’t conquer with its over-the-top supercharged engine, more than 700 horsepower, and a wading depth of 32 inches. Perhaps the fact that the Ram 1500 TRX is pumping out 650 lb-ft of torque has something to do with the fact that it’s such an off-road beast, or maybe it’s the fact that it only needs 4.5 seconds to go from 0 -60 mph — regardless, few vehicles on the current market come close to these performance numbers. Here are four things we love about the 2021 Ram 1500 TRX. (more…)
