The 2021 Ram 1500 TRX Strikes Again as the “Truck of the Year”

Once again, the 2021 Ram 1500 TRX finds itself a “Truck of the Year” recipient. The Rocky Mountain Automotive Press (RMAP) deemed the new 2021 Ram 1500 TRX its “Truck of the Year.” All in all, especially as it begins rolling out across dealer lots, the 2021 Ram 1500 TRX remains the segment disruptor it was designed to be.
“There was some really great competition this year for ‘Truck of the Year’ in the Denver region. However, the Ram 1500 TRX was the run-away winner among the Rocky Mountain Automotive Press group of automotive journalists,” said RMAP President Craig Conover. 2021 Ram 1500 TRX VIN 001 Auction Proceeds go to The United Way

A promise made is a promise kept for Ram Trucks as the truck maker auctioned off the very first 2021 Ram 1500 TRX VIN 001. The Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale Auction raised a whopping $410,000 for The United Way for Southeast Michigan’s 2-1-1 helpline. The organization focuses on providing services for veterans and their families. Singled out to commemorate the launch of the Ram 1500 TRX and its 702 horsepower straight from the factory, Ram made exactly 702 units of the Ram 1500 TRX Launch Edition, of which sold out in under three hours. There’s no road — paved or not — that the Ram 1500 TRX can’t conquer with its over-the-top supercharged engine, more than 700 horsepower, and a wading depth of 32 inches. Perhaps the fact that the Ram 1500 TRX is pumping out 650 lb-ft of torque has something to do with the fact that it’s such an off-road beast, or maybe it’s the fact that it only needs 4.5 seconds to go from 0 -60 mph — regardless, few vehicles on the current market come close to these performance numbers. Ram Truck Launches New Campaign With a Little Help From Chris Stapleton

Ram Trucks is on a mission to reinforce just how much its award-winning pickups are “Built to Serve” thanks to a new storytelling ad campaign called “I’m a Ram”. The new campaign features five-time Grammy-winning singer/songwriter Chris Stapleton. A combination of commercials and long-form content that spans across traditional broadcast, digital, and the truck maker’s social media channels via Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. The first two spots, titled “Neighbor” and “Provider,” are slated to debut during the NCAA March Madness telecast. Ram 1500, Ram Heavy Duty Models Named to KBB’s 2021 Best Resale Value Awards

Kelley Blue Book (KBB) named the Ram 1500 and Ram 2500/3500 Heavy Duty pickups to its 2021 Best Resale Value awards. 2021 marks the second consecutive year in which the Ram 1500 and Ram 2500/3500 capture spots on KBB’s Top 10 Vehicles for Best Resale Value list. KBB bases the Best Resale Value Awards on projections that come directly from the publication’s Official Residual Value Guide with a skilled staff of automotive analysts at the helm who get final say. Ram already holds steady in the segment with its fuel-efficient 4x4s along with the quickest, fastest and most powerful pickup straight from the factory — the 2021 Ram 1500 TRX. However, the pickup brand’s latest offering — the 2021 Ram 1500 Tradesman HFE EcoDiesel — is more about efficiency than performance. The 2021 Ram Tradesman HFE (High Fuel Efficiency) EcoDiesel has an unrivaled highway fuel economy rating of up to 33 miles per gallon (mpg), with a city rating of 23 mpg and a combined fuel efficiency rating of 26 mpg. The 2021 Ram 1500 TRX Officially Goes Into Production

Ram Truck recently revealed that production of the highly-anticipated 2021 Ram 1500 TRX is officially underway at the Sterling Heights Assembly Plant (SHAP) in Sterling Heights, Michigan. The very first pickup that rolled off the assembly line – VIN Number 001 — is a Ram 1500 TRX Launch Edition with an exclusive Anvil exterior paint color that’s bound to be auctioned off for charity.
