Kelley Blue Book (KBB) just named the Ram 1500 and Ram Heavy Duty models as winners of its Best Resale Value Awards. This marks the ninth consecutive year where a vehicle from parent company Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) earns a nod on KBB’s prestigious list. Three FCA vehicles made the cut on the 10 Best Resale Value Awards list, tying the most spots of any other automaker.

“Since the 2019 launch of its new truck, Ram has realized significant increases in retail sales. Consumers’ renewed interest in Ram’s light- and heavy-duty trucks has also been reflected in higher used car values, which results in the inclusion of the Ram 1500 and Ram Heavy Duty variants in Kelley Blue Book’s Top 10 Best Resale Value list,” said Eric Ibara, Director, Residual Values, Kelley Blue Book.

The highly-coveted awards are based on projections from KBB’s Official Residual Value Guide, and are then decided on by a knowledgeable staff of automotive analysts. The prestigious Best Resale Value Award is a way to honor vehicles that are expected to retain the largest proportion of their respective original price after five years of ownership.
