Ram Announces All-New Limited Elite Edition Trim for 2023 Ram 1500

There is an all-new Limited Elite Edition trim for the 2023 Ram 1500. This new trim improves upon the light-duty pickup truck’s luxury factor by adding higher quality materials. The Ram 1500 has long had a Limited lineup with the most recent being the 10th Anniversary Edition. For the 2023 model year, the Ram 1500 will receive the Elite Edition as its luxury trim. Aside from the new trim, the Ram 1500 also receives some new technology and a larger digital gauge cluster. We’ll take a look at the new Limited Elite Edition trim and see what consumers can expect.

Ram 1500 Limited Elite Edition Will Arrive in 2023

Ram will be releasing a new Limited Elite Edition trim for the 2023 Ram 1500. This trim will replace the Ram 1500 10th Anniversary trim as the next luxury trim. It will equip the light-duty pickup truck with high-quality materials and provide owners with a premium feel. Ram already offers one of the best interior cabins in the pickup truck segment, but this new Limited Elite Edition will take it up a notch. About the new trim, Ram CEO Mike Koval Jr. said,

“The new 2023 Ram 1500 Limited Elite Edition takes the highest quality materials in the industry and elevates the benchmark for interior comfort into rarified air,” said Mike Koval Jr. “Ram 1500 Limited buyers have enjoyed the ultimate combination of capability, luxury, and refinement for a decade now and the Limited Elite Edition is the latest example of how Ram delivers the most luxurious pickups in the industry.”

The 2023 Ram 1500 Limited Elite Edition trim will arrive with a crew cab configuration as well as a 5.7L V8 engine with eTorque mild-hybrid assist. This engine delivers 395 horsepower and 410lb-ft of torque. It also provides the pickup with 12,750 pounds of towing capability and 2,300 pounds of payload capacity. Inside the pickup truck, owners will note authentic premium materials like wood, metal, and leather. 

The new luxury trim also equips the Ram with a jeweled rotary shifter, leather bucket seats, a suede headline, and a new 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster. There’s also a 12-inch touchscreen that pairs with a 19-speaker premium audio system. Finally, the pickup features a new emergency vehicle alert system that displays on the touchscreen. The 2023 Ram 1500 Limited Elite Edition will start at an MSRP of $65,305 (plus destination fee). It will become available in October 2022.

2023 Ram ProMaster Will Replace City Van

The Ram ProMaster City will be phased out in favor of the 2023 Ram ProMaster. Like many other automakers, Ram will be discontinuing sales of its smaller commercial van. Instead, the automaker will focus on its larger ProMaster van as well as an all-electric version. While the ProMaster City offered impressive fuel efficiency, Ram is working to ensure that its remaining commercial vans match that quality and standard. Not to mention electric vans will reduce the need for fuel altogether. We’ll take a look at the upcoming 2023 Ram ProMaster and its EV equivalent and see what consumers can expect.

Ram Will Soon Phase Out ProMaster City Van

Ram will soon discontinue sales of its smaller ProMaster City van. The automaker will be replacing the commercial van with its larger ProMaster van. Ram also hopes to offer consumers an all-electric commercial van. This decision comes from the fact that sales of the smaller ProMaster City are dwindling. From 2016 to 2020 the automaker saw sales decline by as much as 5,000 units. While this may have been in part to the global pandemic and subsequent economic challenges, Ram sees this as the time to move beyond the smaller commercial van. There may be a smaller EV alternative in the future, but as of now, Ram has no plans in the works.

The 2023 Ram ProMaster has already had its debut. The all-new van has been redesigned with a new front end and better-illuminated headlights. There’s also a more accessible roll-up door that makes loading and unloading cargo easier. Ram is offering more customization options so owners will have several choices between vehicle lengths, wheelbases, and roof heights. The ProMaster van will also utilize a 3.6L V6 engine that delivers 276 horsepower and 250lb-ft of torque.

Inside the 2023 ProMaster, owners will note an upgraded interior. The van will offer Uconnect 5 as its infotainment system and it will come with either a 7-inch or a 10-inch touchscreen. This touchscreen will feature a high-resolution backup camera, as well as a 360-degree surround view camera. The new van will also offer advanced safety features like parallel park assist, traffic sign recognition, and active driving assist. The 2023 Ram ProMaster is set to become available in the fall of 2022 while the battery-electric version will come later in 2023.

Ram & Wolverine Partner For New ‘Built for the Driven’ Collection

Known for its slogan, “Built to Serve,” Ram is once again collaborating to help support the SkillsUSA nonprofit organization. The automaker will be partnering with Wolverine which is a 139-year-old boot and clothing company to support America’s workers. While Ram has been busy supplying America with its iconic Ram 1500 and other highly capable pickup trucks, the automaker wants to give even more. In celebration of Labor Day, Ram and Wolverine will offer the ‘Built for the Driven’ collection. Proceeds from the collection will go toward supporting educational opportunities within skilled trades. We’ll take a look at this partnership and see how it will benefit the future skilled tradesmen of America. 

Ram and Wolverine Partner for Skilled Tradespeople

Ram will be partnering with the 139-year-old work brand Wolverine to offer a ‘Built For the Driven’ collection. Both Ram and Wolverine have spent decades giving back to the community and this is yet another way to support it. As part of a celebration of Labor Day, the two companies will use this partnership to inspire future tradespeople of America and provide educational opportunities. Together, the two brands will support SkillsUSA which is a nonprofit organization dedicated to strengthening the nation’s workforce. By helping students develop personal and technical skills, the organization ensures that students have what’s necessary to become employable.

The ‘Built for the Driven’ collection will comprise American-made clothing and accessories. This includes items from 2021’s collection such as Wolverine x Ram Tradesman Safety Toe work boots and co-branded socks. There are also new graphic T-shirts, sweatshirts, and beanies. The theme for the collection is one of reflection on the quality and craftsmanship that both Ram and Wolverine are known for. In addition to the proceeds, Wolverine will also donate $75,000 to the SkillsUSA Hope Fund which provides equitable access to opportunities for America’s youth seeking skilled trades. “Together with Wolverine, we’re excited to release our second licensed collection ‘Built for the Driven’ to create more awareness around educational opportunities in the skilled trades workforce,” said Hunter. “From the thoughtfully designed work boots to the graphic tees, this collection is designed to educate and empower young men and women entering the workforce about the many reputable career occupations available in skilled trades.”

As one of the most iconic pickup trucks, the 2022 Ram 1500 continues to sit atop the automotive throne. The light-duty pickup has received numerous accolades and awards highlighting both its performance and efficiency. These awards like Texas Truck of the Year provide consumers with clear information about the best pickup trucks available. Aside from its tough combustion engine trucks, Ram has also been focusing on its all-new 2024 Ram 1500 EV. The automaker has teased several concept sketches as well as specs, but no definitive information has been released yet. While we wait for more info, we’ll take a closer look at the 2022 Ram 1500. The pickup truck comes available with a range of engines, but we thought we’d focus on the diesel engine. Many trucks offer diesel engines, but we’ll see what makes the Ram 1500 one of the best diesel trucks on the market.

The 2022 Ram 1500 is A Top Diesel Truck

The 2022 Ram 1500 has continued to be a top pickup truck in the sector given its performance and capability. As one of Ram’s most popular trucks, the Ram 1500 offers consumers a lot of versatility while remaining affordable. This engine is one of the best in class and as such, it provides owners with a towing capacity of up to 12,560 pounds. The payload is also 2,320 pounds. Ram made sure that its eco-diesel would be highly efficient so the V6 offers 22 mpg in the city and 32 mpg on the highway. Ram has also provided several driver-assist features to ensure towing is made easy. These include a trailer 360-degree surround view camera and trailer reverse steering control.

One of the best features of the Ram 1500 is its interior. Spacious and comfortable, the light-duty pickup truck offers one of the most luxurious interiors in its sector. This is further enhanced by trims like the Limited, Laramie, and Big Horn. These trims equip the truck with premium leather and genuine wood accents. They also provide heated and ventilated seats as well as a panoramic sunroof. Another element that separates the 2022 Ram 1500 from other pickup trucks is its safety features. With features like a digital rearview mirror, blind-spot monitoring, electronic stability control, and electronic roll mitigation, owners can rest assured that they remain safe whether they’re towing and hauling or just doing everyday driving.

What to Expect from the All-New 2024 Ram 1500 EV

Amidst all the excitement surrounding electric vehicles, Ram has been teasing its own all-electric pickup, the 2024 Ram 1500 EV. Since its debut, the automaker has been hosting events like the Ram Real Talk Tour in order to gauge consumer sentiment about the ideal electric pickup truck. While other automakers like Ford and Chevrolet have also released EV pickups, by directly asking consumers what they want, Ram can work toward perfecting its ideal Ram EV. Although Ram has kept quiet about certain details, it seems that the electric Ram will feature a conventional design. It will also feature impressive capability as is expected from Ram’s lineup. While the automaker has not released any definitive information about the Ram 1500 EV, we’ll go over what is currently known.

Ram 1500 EV To Arrive in 2024

The Ram 1500 EV is set to arrive in 2024. The all-electric pickup has been teased for some time now, but concrete details still remain under wraps. Ram CEO Mike Koval has stated that the Ram design team is drawing inspiration from consumers to create the ideal electric pickup. Based on several concept designs, it seems that the electric Ram will feature a conventional design with some futuristic elements. With this design choice, Ram seems to be taking a cue from Ford as its F-150 Lightning has seen positive reception. 

The 2024 Ram 1500 EV is set to be built on Stellantis’ architectural framework. This framework is reserved for larger trucks and SUVs and it supports battery sizes from 159 kWh to 200 kWh. Ram will likely use larger battery packs, however, as the automaker has stated that the Ram EV will offer 400 miles of battery range. Ram will also be including a range extender which will provide the pickup truck with additional battery mile range.

One of the benefits that Ram has over its competitors is time. Due to the Ram EV arriving later than most other automakers, Ram has the opportunity to modify and make adjustments to ensure the Ram EV is superior to its competitors. We’ll have to wait for more information to make any definitive conclusions, but based on Ram’s efforts it seems that the all-electric 2024 Ram 1500 EV will be one of the most efficient Ram vehicles yet.

Meet the Juggernaut, A Custom-Made Ram 1500 TRX With A Huge Upgrade

As if the Ram 1500 TRX couldn’t get any more powerful, thanks to the automotive company Apocalypse 6×6, the 3-and-a-half-ton pickup truck has become even more fearsome. Apocalypse 6×6 is known for taking already powerful vehicles and upgrading them with more horsepower and capability. Known as the Texas Truck of the Year, the Ram 1500 TRX has been recognized for its impressive capability and performance. Now, it has gotten a bigger boost courtesy of Apocalypse 6×6. We’ll take a look at the custom pickup truck and see what modifications have been made. 

The Juggernaut is A Step-Up for the Ram 1500 TRX

The already powerful Ram 1500 TRX has gotten even better thanks to the automotive company Apocalypse 6X6. Focused on custom builds, Apocalypse 6×6 has taken the Ram 1500 TRX and upgraded it with a plethora of modifications. The first of these is obvious as the pickup truck has an extra rear axle which helps enhance traction. Thanks to this axle the TRX rides on a six-wheel drive system. The modified Ram 1500 TRX, also known as the Juggernaut, has also been upgraded with new 40-inch tires, an independent front suspension, locking differentials, and Dana 60 axles. 

For its engine, the Juggernaut features a supercharged 6.2L Hemi V8 that has been upgraded to offer 850 horsepower. This engine has been modified to accommodate the TRX’s heavier weight. This upgrade provides the Juggernaut with 20,000 pounds of towing capacity. Apocalypse 6×6 has also added a high-performance dual exhaust system that has been designed for hotter climates. This system has been modified to fit a 100-gallon auxiliary fuel tank should owners need the extra capacity. The super pickup also comes with several driving modes to help owners traverse the toughest of terrain. These modes include Sport, Drag Race, Baja, Rocks, and Mud.

Inside the modified Ram 1500 TRX, owners will note a leather upholstery with a 12-inch touchscreen. There’s also a digital rearview camera, heated and cooled seats, and a panoramic sunroof. The Juggernaut also makes use of Ram’s safety features which include blind spot monitoring and an eye-view camera system. Other features Apocalypse 6×6 added to the TRX include an electronic tonneau cover, steel bumpers, big wheel arches, and extra lights. We’re not sure of the pricing for the Juggernaut, but given its capability and increased performance, it may run upwards of the standard MSRP of the Ram 1500 TRX which is $78,675 (plus destination fee). Still, it may be well worth the cost for such a powerful pickup.

As if Ram trucks couldn’t get any better, according to a recent equipment list leak, there will be a new Ram 2500 Power Wagon Rebel trim. Speculation about a new trim had been circulating due to recent spy shots of prototype Ram Heavy Duty pickup trucks. Now it has been confirmed. Looking through the equipment list, it’s clear that there is Rebel equipment among the options. The Ram 2500 is already one of the best heavy-duty trucks given its performance and capability. Along with the Ram 1500 and Ram 3500, the heavy-duty truck ranked first in Motor Trend’s Best Truck Rankings. As of late, Ram has been updating its lineup with new refreshes and it has also been working on its all-new 2024 Ram EV. With so many new surprises, Ram is aiming to continue to dominate the market. For now, we’ll take a look at the new Ram 2500 Power Wagon Rebel trim and see what consumers can expect.

New Ram 2500 Power Wagon Rebel Trim

A brand-new Ram 2500 Power Wagon Rebel trim is on the way. After several spy shots were taken of prototype heavy-duty Ram trucks, many speculated as to whether there would be any new trims. One model wrapped in camouflage hinted that there may be a new Ram 2500 trim. After a recent equipment list leak, this has been confirmed. The list provided clear-cut evidence that Ram will be announcing a new Rebel trim for the Ram 2500 based on the fact that there was Rebel-oriented equipment among the options. This means consumers can look forward to a new off-road-focused heavy-duty Ram pickup truck.

Taking a glance at the leaked equipment list, it seems that the 2023 Ram 2500 Power Wagon Rebel trim will feature a new engine. Currently, the heavy-duty pickup truck arrives with a 6.4L V8 Hemi engine capable of 410 horsepower and 429lb-ft of torque. According to the equipment list, however, the Power Wagon will be getting a new 6.7L inline-six Cummins turbodiesel engine. Looking at the transmission options, it seems the Ram 2500 could also feature either a lower output or a higher output turbo diesel engine. The lower output engine would grant 370 horsepower and 859lb-ft of torque while the higher output would offer 420 horsepower and 1,075lb-ft of torque. 

Additional options included in the equipment list were a Rebel-themed instrument cluster, a new Rebel-inspired suspension, active rear leveling, and a sports performance hood. As far as configuration setups go, the Ram 2500 Power Wagon Rebel would be only offered with a Crew Cab 6’4 box. It would also have a four-wheel-drive system. Another difference from the current Power Wagon is the weight rating. In the equipment list, the weight rating is up to 10,000 pounds. This means the new Rebel trim may offer an increase in payload capacity. We’ll have to wait for confirmation, but it looks like the new Ram 2500 Power Wagon Rebel will be a huge step up from its predecessor.

A Ram 1500 Comparison: TRX vs Big Horn vs Limited

For years the Ram 1500 has dominated the pickup truck sector. Known for its high capability and strong performance, the Ram 1500 has earned numerous awards including Texas Truck of the Year and Motor Trend’s Best Truck. Ram continues to dominate the pickup market by updating its lineup and by offering some of the fiercest trims available. Some of these trims include the powerful TRX and Big Horn as well as the luxurious Limited. These trims improve the performance of the Ram 1500 and also add additional features to help drivers get the most out of their pickup. We’ll take a look at each of these Ram trims and see what they offer.

The Ram 1500 TRX

One of the most powerful trims available for the Ram 1500 is the TRX. This 3-and-a-half-ton pickup truck has the capability and versatility to take on almost any terrain. The Ram TRX arrives with a powerful 702 horsepower 6.2L supercharged V8 engine that’s paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission. Owners wanting an unstoppable pickup will find it with the TRX as it boasts 11.8-inches of ground clearance and comes with 35-inch all-terrain tires. It also has a highly tuned suspension and can go 0-60 mph in just 3.7 seconds. The Ram 1500 TRX starts at an MSRP of $78,675 (plus destination fee). While pricey, given its power and performance, it may be well worth it. 

The Ram 1500 Big Horn

Another powerful trim is the Ram Big Horn. This trim can be equipped with either a 3.6L V6, a 5.7L V8, or a 3.0L turbo diesel V6. While each of these engines provides drivers with impressive horsepower and torque, those wanting a superior work truck can opt for the 3.0L to get 480lb-ft of torque. With a towing capacity of up to 12,560 pounds, the turbo diesel V6 makes sure to get just about any job done. It also has impressive fuel economy. The Big Horn trim starts at an MSRP of $41,815 (plus destination fee). While it doesn’t offer as much performance as the TRX, it does offer strong capability. It also has a much lower price tag. Owners wanting more in terms of driver assist and convenience features can also opt for various equipment packages.

The Ram 1500 Limited

Up next is the Ram 1500 Limited trim which is unlike any other pickup truck. With the Limited Edition trim, Ram wanted to offer a luxurious pickup with the latest technology features. Inside the pickup, owners will note high-quality materials such as wood, metal, and leather. These materials are stitched throughout the interior alongside an indigo and sea salt gray color scheme. The Limited trim also features quilted leather seats and door inserts along with a suede headline that extends to the overhead visors. For entertainment, there’s a premium 19-speaker sound system. Drivers can also make use of driver assist features like a 360-degree camera and adaptive cruise control. Starting at an MSRP of $62,685 (plus destination fee), the Ram Limited trim offers quality combined with comfort. Those wanting a comfortable and luxurious pickup will be more than happy with this trim.

The all-new 2023 Ram ProMaster van is almost here. Ram first debuted the new transit van at the National Truck Equipment Association trade show. It was there that consumers got to get a firsthand look at the new and improved van. With the 2023 ProMaster, Ram wanted to ensure that the van would offer more capability and features to better meet the needs of businesses, commercial fleets, and anyone in need of a strong work van. Ram has upgraded almost every aspect of the new van. It has also incorporated some of its electrification processes into the 2023 ProMaster. We’ll break down some of the key upgrades that consumers can expect to see with the new 2023 Ram ProMaster van.

Ram will also offer a battery-electric version of the ProMaster later in 2023.

Along with the new infotainment system, drivers also have access to a high-resolution backup camera as well as a 360-degree surround-view camera. For convenience, drivers have a push-button starter, keyless entry, and a steering wheel equipped with electronic system controls. 

For safety, the 2023 Ram ProMaster offers advanced safety features like parallel and perpendicular park assist, traffic sign recognition, and active driving assist. There’s also crosswind assist and drowsiness detection. The ProMaster van will arrive in the Fall of 2022. The BEV version will be available later in 2023. Ram has not yet set a price for the transit van, but the 2022 Ram ProMaster starts at an MSRP of $37,260 so the 2023 model will likely see a higher price point.

Ram Unveils the All-New 2022 Ram 1500 TRX Sandblast Edition

Ram recently unveiled an all-new light-duty pickup truck, the 2022 Ram 1500 TRX Sandblast Edition. This new Ram 1500 offers consumers even greater capability and performance. Given that it’s part of the Ram TRX family, the TRX Sandblast Edition will improve upon past performance with rugged capability along with new exterior and interior features. The Ram TRX is known for its unstoppable performance and just recently it earned the title of Texas Truck of the Year. Although Ram has been busy working on its all-new Ram EV, this hasn’t stopped the automaker from attending to its fanbase. We’ll take a look at the new 2022 Ram 1500 TRX Sandblast Edition pickup and see what consumers can expect.   

2022 Ram 1500 TRX Sandblast Edition Joins the Ram Lineup

Ram recently unveiled its latest pickup, the all-new 2022 Ram 1500 TRX Sandblast Edition. This new light-duty pickup offers consumers a rugged pickup that is capable of tackling some of the toughest terrains. Since it’s part of the TRX family, the Sandblast Edition pickup comes equipped with a powerful 702 horsepower 6.2L supercharged V8 engine that is paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission. The pickup also has 11.8 inches of ground clearance and a tuned suspension which grants it impressive capability. About the 2022 Ram 1500 TRX Sandblast, Ram CEO Mike Koval Jr. said,

“Our customers want to stand out from the crowd and the new Ram 1500 TRX Sandblast Edition allows them to do just that while offering the segment’s best combination of performance, capability, and technology,” said Mike Koval Jr. “We’re constantly expanding and exploring new ideas to meet the needs and fuel the imagination of our passionate customers, and this is the latest example of how Ram trucks deliver features that will continue to win over more and more buyers.”

The 2022 Ram 1500 TRX Sandblast Edition will start at an MSRP of $98,285 (plus destination fee). The pickup will come with TRX Level 2 equipment and will feature a unique Mojave Sand exterior color as well as Mojave graphics. The TRX Sandblast will also have unique 18-inch all-black Beadlock wheels, cargo tie-downs, and an LED cab-mounted brake light. There’s also a dual-pane panoramic sunroof. Inside the pickup, owners will note Light Frost accent stitching with an embroidered TRX seat back logo. There are also carbon fiber accents along with unique center console badging. For safety, the Ram 1500 TRX Sandblast Edition will feature lane-keep assist, pedestrian emergency braking, and adaptive cruise control. Those looking forward to the all-new Sandblast Edition pickup can expect it to release in the summer of 2022.
