Reservations For All-New Ram 1500 REV Already Filled

Reservations for the all-new Ram 1500 REV have already sold out. The all-electric pickup truck debuted at the 2023 Consumers Electronic Show. There, consumers got to see the concept truck for the first time. Many were starstruck by the ingenious design set forth by Ram. In the months leading up to the Ram 1500 REV concept, Ram had been touring the United States to gauge consumer feedback about the ideal EV truck. Based on the responses, the Ram 1500 REV was created. According to Ram, its goal was to redefine the truck segment by offering an all-new customer experience integrated with advanced technology. Consumers are interested in this experience, as reservations have already been filled. We’ll look at the Ram 1500 REV and see what consumers can expect.

Ram 1500 REV Reservations Filled Immediately

Reservations for the Ram 1500 REV have already been filled. The all-electric pickup truck recently had its official debut at the 2023 Consumers Electronic Show. Consumers got a firsthand look at the all-electric Ram, which is set to redefine the truck segment. In designing the Ram 1500 REV, Ram gathered feedback from a number of truck owners and enthusiasts. The goal was to determine the qualities and features expected of an electric truck. Many stated that the most important characteristics were range, payload, towing, and charge time. While all these details have yet to be revealed, based on the reservation numbers, the Ram 1500 REV is in high demand.

According to the RamRev website, consumers can no longer place a reservation order for the all-electric Ram 1500 REV. While those interested in the all-new pickup truck only had to put down a down payment of $100, it’s indicative of the excitement over Ram’s first EV. From the day of the announcement, it took only seven days for reservation orders to sell out. We do not know how many trucks Ram took for reservation, but the automaker will be pretty busy, given the number of orders. For comparison, when the Ford F-150 Lightning debuted, it had close to 45,000 reservation orders within two days.

Along with a new innovative design, the Ram 1500 REV is expected to arrive with several new features. These include 28 inches of screen space, removable third-row jump seats, and a track rail attachment system. This system will allow owners to convert the center console into a workstation surface. The Ram 1500 REV is also expected to feature a rearview mirror with a 360-degree camera, an augmented reality heads-up display, and Level 3 autonomous capabilities. With so many high-tech features, it’s no wonder that reservation orders were filled as quickly as they did.

Ram Plans All-New Mid-Size Pickup Concept

Ram is planning on debuting an all-new mid-size pickup truck in March. Having debuted its first all-electric Ram 1500 REV, many wonder if the new mid-size truck will also be electric. Ram has long since been a dominating brand in the truck segment. With competent and versatile trucks like the Ram 1500, 2500, and 3500, many competitors pale in comparison. The Ram 1500 REV is also looking to dominate the EV truck segment with its innovative design and powerful capabilities. Ram’s CEO Mike Koval Jr. recently stated that Ram will be showcasing a new concept truck and that it will gauge reactions to determine if it will release it to the public. While we do not have many details about the truck, we’ll take a closer look and see what consumers can expect.

Ram Will Introduce New Mid-Size Pickup Truck

Ram will be showcasing an all-new mid-size pickup truck in March. Ram CEO Mike Koval Jr. said the model will be shown at a large dealer meeting. Based on the reactions it receives, the automaker will decide to go forward with the concept. Ram’s CEO provided no additional information about the mid-size truck, so details are scarce. Should the automaker produce a mid-size truck, it would fill a vacant slot in its current lineup. This could give the automaker a promising opportunity to take a more significant percentage of sales from competitors like Ford and Chevrolet.

Ram is eyeing innovations, as evidenced by its latest Ram 1500 REV. The electric pickup truck stunned consumers with its innovative design and unique features. The all-electric truck marks the first of many as Ram aims to fulfill its Stellantis Dare Forward 2030 strategic plan. The green initiative aims to reduce global carbon emissions by using clean and innovative solutions. With this goal in mind, it’s still being determined if Ram will introduce an all-electric mid-size truck. The new truck could also be a hybrid variant.

The last time Ram offered a mid-size pickup truck was the Ram Dakota which was discontinued in 2011. Ram recently hinted that the mid-size truck may be making a comeback in 2024. The new concept truck set to debut in March could be the Ram Dakota. Since it’s been over a decade since it was discontinued, consumers can expect the Ram Dakota to arrive with more capability and power than its predecessor. We’re still determining if Ram will equip the 2024 Ram Dakota with a 3.6L V6 engine or give it a hybrid powertrain. Either way, seeing that Ram has something new in store is exciting. Until the official reveal, we’ll be staying tuned.

All-Electric Ram Pickup Dubbed Ram 1500 REV

A new trademark filing was recently discovered indicating that the all-new Ram EV will be called the Ram 1500 REV. The electric pickup truck has been teased for some time, with Ram posting images and spy shots hinting at the truck’s appearance. The automaker has also revealed the truck’s expected performance standards. While we have a potential name, we still need to see the actual concept art for the Ram 1500 REV. Thankfully, this information and more will be revealed at the January 2023 Consumer Electronics Show (CES). It’s here where consumers will get to see the all-electric pickup truck that Ram has been working on. Until then, we’ll take a look at the trademark filings and see what new information has been discovered.

Ram EV Will Be Called Ram 1500 REV

The all-new Ram EV will be called the Ram 1500 REV. This information comes from a recent trademark filing with the United States Patent and Trademark Office. In the filing, the name REV indicates that Ram’s electric pickup truck will carry the three-letter abbreviation. While this differs from what many believed would be the Ram Revolution, Ram REV is a short but effective name for the automaker’s first electric pickup truck.

According to the trademark filing, the application was made on December 23rd, 2022. It was filed under the categories of land vehicles, specifically passenger trucks. Although this may be a straightforward indicator, trademarks are not always absolute. For assured certainty, we would have to wait until the 2023 Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in January. There, Stellantis CEO Tavares will discuss Ram’s vision for the future. This vision includes the Stellantis Dare Forward 2030 strategy, which aims to offer innovative, clean, and safe solutions that will help reduce global carbon emissions.

As for the Ram 1500 REV, the pickup truck is expected to offer strong performance and come equipped with a ranger extender. Riding on Stellantis’ EV platform, the EV truck is expected to use between 101 and 118 kWh batteries. The electric pickup is also expected to arrive with up to 500 miles of battery range and offer charging speeds as high as 150 kW. Additionally, shots of a prototype being tested were recently taken, indicating that the Ram EV may feature an independent rear suspension, coil springs, and a new chassis. Piece by piece, we’re getting further information about the Ram REV. It’s only a matter of time before the final product is revealed.

Ram 1500 EV Concept Will Officially Debut at 2023 CES

In January, Ram will officially debut its all-new Ram 1500 EV concept at the 2023 Consumer Electronics Show (CES). The CES is hosted annually by the Consumer Technology Association and brings the world’s biggest brands together to share ideas. Ram will finally unveil its long-awaited concept art for the all-electric Ram 1500 Revolution pickup truck. Since its first introduction, the Ram 1500 EV has made its way around the country to hear what consumers consider the most desirable features in an EV truck. Teaser images and spy shots hint at the truck’s appearance. Expected performance standards have also circulated, indicating that the truck may feature 500 miles of battery range and a range extender. All this and more will be revealed at the 2023 CES.

Ram 1500 Revolution Will Officially Debut

In January, Ram will unveil its all-electric Ram 1500 pickup truck at the 2023 Consumers Electronics Show (CES). The show will feature Stellantis CEO Carlos Tavares, who will present the concept work for the Ram EV. Following the official reveal, Stellantis and Ram hosted a country-wide discussion called the Ram Real Talk Tour, in which they gathered feedback about the perfect EV pickup. Questions about range, capability, and charge time were discussed to find the most favorable solutions for consumers. Considering these aspects, the Ram 1500 EV aims to redefine the electric pickup truck segment and demonstrate where Ram aims to take its future EV lineup.

During the 2023 CES presentation, Stellantis CEO Tavares will discuss their vision for the future. This vision revolves around the Stellantis Dare Forward 2030 strategy, which aims to offer innovative, clean, and safe solutions that will help reduce global carbon emissions. These include electric vehicles like the Ram 1500 EV and the battery-electric Ram ProMaster Van. Many automakers are working toward EVs, but it will be the ones that offer the most reliability and capability that succeed.

The 2024 Ram EV prototype was recently spotted, giving some clues about what to expect at the 2023 CES. We know the Ram EV will utilize Stellantis’ EV platform, which can hold between 101 and 118 kWh batteries. The electric pickup is expected to offer up to 500 miles of battery range, and charging speeds will supposedly be as high as 150 kW. With the prototype spy shots, we know the Ram EV will feature an independent rear suspension along with coil springs. A new chassis is expected, and the truck appeared to have a longer wheelbase, a crew cab configuration, and a 6-foot 4-inch truck bed. For conclusive information, we’ll have to wait until the 2023 CES show on January 5th.

Ram Partners With Chris Stapleton for Ram “Traveller” Truck

Ram will be collaborating with American singer-songwriter Chris Stapleton to create a special pickup truck called the Ram Traveller. Built atop the Ram 2500 HD, the Traveller will honor the year-long cooperation between Stapleton and Ram. The truck will also honor Stapleton’s musical contributions to American cultural history. The Ram 2500 HD is a heavy-duty pickup truck that offers impressive capability and versatility. The Traveller will take the Ram 2500’s sturdy design and add unique styling cues that best represent Stapleton and his music. The truck will be revealed at the Nashville museum as part of Stapleton’s exhibit, ‘Since 1978 at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum.’ We’ll take a closer look at the Traveller and see what consumers can expect.

Ram and Chris Stapleton Reveal Traveller Pickup Truck

Ram recently collaborated with sing-songwriter Chris Stapleton for a unique pickup truck called the Ram Traveller. Riding on the Ram 2500 HD frame, the pickup will honor and celebrate Stapleton’s musical career as well as his contributions to American culture. Chris Stapleton has been a partner with Ram for several years now. The two worked together in 2016 for a Ram Nation concert as well as an instrument donation at Stapleton’s former high school in Kentucky. Now the two are coming together again to design the unique Traveller Ram pickup truck. About the collaboration, Ram CEO Mike Koval Jr. said,

“Our relationship with Chris Stapleton is special because he is not just a partner, we consider him to be a friend. He represents our shared values of hard work, determination, and perseverance,” said Mike Koval Jr. “Our journey with Chris throughout his career is something we are extremely proud of and to see this Ram Truck collaboration come to fruition is an endeavor we will cherish for a long time.”

For its exterior design, the Traveller pickup truck will feature styling similar to the 1979 Ram Palomino truck, one of Stapleton’s favorites. Colors include Linen Cream, Radar Red, Bison Brown, and Cashmere. Striped graphics are also featured as well as retro 18-inch wheels. Traveller badging and a 3D Ram hood ornament top it off. Inside the special Traveller Ram 2500 truck, unique textures and materials represent Stapleton’s musical career. Interior designs include a custom monochromatic Bison Brown interior palette with plaid flannel materials for the headrests. Walnut Burl wood is also layered throughout the cabin and the seats are tailored and cloth-wrapped. Additional designs include speaker grilles that resemble guitar amps and a customized Chris Stapleton signature etched into the wood of the instrument panel.

2024 Ram 1500 EV Prototype Spotted

The 2024 Ram 1500 EV was recently spotted wrapped in camouflage. The all-electric pickup was seen being tested as it prepared for its official launch. Ram has been preparing to release its first electric vehicle with promotions and teaser trailers. While concept images have only been released, these recent spy shots give consumers a better idea of what to expect from the Ram 1500 EV. Ram is known for its high performance and capability as one of the most iconic truck brands. The same level of quality and capability is expected to be offered with the electric Ram. We’ll look at the spy shots and see what is expected from the 2024 Ram EV.

Spy Shots Reveal More About Ram 1500 EV

The all-new, all-electric 2024 Ram 1500 EV was recently spotted being tested. Wrapped in camouflage, the pickup truck appeared to be using the current Ram body. Ram is set to unveil the official concept work for the Ram EV in the next few months, but thanks to these spy shots, we have a better idea of what to expect from the electric pickup truck. For one, the Ram EV prototype looks to feature an independent rear suspension along with coil springs. A new chassis is also expected to accompany the Ram 1500 EV. This means the EV pickup will do away with the solid rear axle.

Another detail spotted from the spy shots was side sill extensions. These are meant to hide the battery under the floor. Along with this, the front fenders of the pickup were wrapped in camouflage, hinting that the charge door would be somewhere around there. The 2024 Ram 1500 EV will utilize Stellantis’ EV platform, which will hold between 101 and 118 kWh batteries. The electric pickup is expected to offer up to 500 miles of battery range. Charging speeds will supposedly be as high as 150 kW.

Another detail about the Ram EV prototype is that it had a long wheelbase, a crew cab configuration, and a 6-foot 4-inch truck bed. This could indicate that the Ram EV’s body and cab layout may be larger. It may also have a fastback rear pillar that flows into the truck bed. More information and the concept art for the 2024 Ram 1500 EV will be unveiled at the LA Auto Show in November (2022). Ram’s CEO Mike Koval Jr. has said that truck owners’ preferences would influence the Ram EV concept, so we’re excited to see what the automaker has in store. Until then, we’ll be staying tuned.

Five Reasons to Consider the 2023 Ram 1500

The 2023 Ram 1500 remains one of the most dominating pickup trucks available. The light-duty pickup has consistently offered consumers strong capability and versatility. The Ram 1500 has also kept ahead of other trucks in its segment due to Ram’s ingenuity and polished design. As of late, the automaker has been working on its all-new 2024 Ram EV. Ram has boasted about the potential capabilities of its first electric pickup truck, including 400 miles of battery range. Since there is still some time until we see the Ram EV revealed, we thought we’d look at five reasons why consumers should consider the 2023 Ram 1500.

1) Ram 1500 TRX

One of the best reasons to consider the 2023 Ram 1500 is the TRX trim. The Ram TRX is one of the strongest off-road pickup trucks available. Equipped with a 6.2L supercharged V8 engine, the 3-and-a-half-ton pickup truck delivers 702 horsepower and 605lb-ft of torque. The robust pickup also has a 0-60 mph time of 3.7 seconds. With 35-inch all-terrain tires, owners will have no trouble traversing terrain as the Ram 1500 TRX has 11.8 inches of ground clearance. Such a powerful trim makes the 2023 Ram 1500 a clear choice for anyone wanting unmatched power and performance.

2) Trailer Driver-Assist Features

Another reason to consider the Ram 1500 is its trailer-assist features. The light-duty pickup truck offers a maximum towing capacity of 12,750 pounds. On top of offering best-in-class towing, the pickup truck provides drivers with helpful towing features like trailer reverse steering control. This feature lets drivers steer the trailer in the desired direction and lets them reverse in a straight line. The 2023 Ram 1500 also offers drivers a digital rearview mirror with an LCD monitor. This provides real-time video streaming so drivers can remain alert at all times. Additionally, a 360-degree surround view camera lets drivers see what’s around their trailer.

3) Active Park Assist

The third benefit that the Ram 1500 offers is ParkSense Active Park Assist. This feature maintains the steering while drivers handle the throttle, brakes, and gear selection. This driver-assist feature helps when parallel parking or parking in perpendicular spaces. Now owners can rest assured that parking will give them no trouble wherever they go, whether it’s a grocery store lot or a shopping plaza.

4) Multi-Function Tailgate

As many truck owners know, the tailgate is an essential feature. With the 2023 Ram 1500, owners will enjoy the functionality and ease of its multi-function tailgate. The specialized tailgate can flip down, open like a pair of doors, or be split into a 60/40 ratio. The tailgate also features an LED hitch light to help see at night. Owners will be happy to know the tailgate can hold up to 2,000 pounds. It can also be easily opened with a key-fob control.

5) Driver Display System

Last is the driver display system. The 2023 Ram 1500 offers drivers a configurable digital driver information display that lets them save their custom settings. At 12.3-inches, the large screen displays various information and gauges. It also offers full-screen navigation with 3D graphics. Additionally, there’s a 12-inch infotainment screen with customizable features.

Ram 1500 EV to Feature a Range Extender

Ram has been in the news for its upcoming all-electric 2024 Ram 1500 EV. Like many automakers, Ram has been working on its own electric vehicles. Ram has touted its Ram 1500 EV as the next level of EV pickups. Although competitors like Ford and Tesla have revealed their own electric pickups, Ram has the advantage of making adjustments based on consumer sentiment and feedback. The latest news regarding the electric pickup is that the Ram 1500 EV will feature a range extender. The electric pickup is set to debut in 2024, but for now, we’ll discuss the impact that such a feature could have on the overall pickup sector.

Ram EV May Feature a Range Extender

The Ram 1500 EV is set to debut in 2024. Ram CEO Mike Koval Jr. has been speaking on the upcoming capabilities and specifications of the electric pickup. One of these is the addition of a range extender. Since 2024 is a few years away, Ram has the luxury of committing to higher performance standards and more driver-assist features than other competitors. If Ram can figure out a way to implement its range extender, it will greatly boost the automaker’s credibility as a top automaker.

The addition of a range extender, especially a combustion engine which is par the course for the feature, will make the Ram EV a plug-in hybrid. Automakers like Mazda have been experimenting with this PHEV system like with their electric MX-30. The electric SUV has a paltry amount of battery range (100 miles), so a range extender is almost a necessity. With the Ram EV however, Ram has stated its electric pickup will feature an impressive 400 miles of battery range. As a reminder, Ram has the luxury of boasting the best of the best in terms of capabilities due to its extended time frame. Despite this luxury, if Ram can make good on its promises, competitors like Ford and Tesla will have to follow suit.

Koval Jr. did not speak more on the range extender, but the addition would allow the Ram EV to boast more versatility and capability than its competitors. One of the largest concerns about EVs is the range. The average battery range is around 230 miles, so incorporating a range extender would bring in more consumers who see the current range estimates as obstacles. We’ll have to stay tuned for more information, but here’s hoping the Ram EV measures up to its expected 400 miles of battery range.

Mike Koval Jr. Ram CEO Branch of Stellantis

Ram will use the power of public opinion to strengthen its Ram Revolution EV. The automaker will open up conversations to hear consumer feedback on what an EV pickup should consist of. The automaker’s Ram Real Talk Tour will continue these conversations to better understand what’s expected from an electric pickup. Ram has boasted that its electric pickup will carry an impressive amount of battery range and that it will also be just as powerful, if not more, than its current gasoline lineup. These insider programs and conversations will ensure this. The Ram Revolution EV is set to release in 2024. For now, we’ll be paying close attention as we follow along the automaker’s journey with its first EV.
