Reservations For All-New Ram 1500 REV Already Filled

Reservations for the all-new Ram 1500 REV have already sold out. The all-electric pickup truck debuted at the 2023 Consumers Electronic Show. There, consumers got to see the concept truck for the first time. Many were starstruck by the ingenious design set forth by Ram. In the months leading up to the Ram 1500 REV concept, Ram had been touring the United States to gauge consumer feedback about the ideal EV truck. Based on the responses, the Ram 1500 REV was created. According to Ram, its goal was to redefine the truck segment by offering an all-new customer experience integrated with advanced technology. Consumers are interested in this experience, as reservations have already been filled. We’ll look at the Ram 1500 REV and see what consumers can expect.

Ram 1500 REV Reservations Filled Immediately

Reservations for the Ram 1500 REV have already been filled. The all-electric pickup truck recently had its official debut at the 2023 Consumers Electronic Show. Consumers got a firsthand look at the all-electric Ram, which is set to redefine the truck segment. In designing the Ram 1500 REV, Ram gathered feedback from a number of truck owners and enthusiasts. The goal was to determine the qualities and features expected of an electric truck. Many stated that the most important characteristics were range, payload, towing, and charge time. While all these details have yet to be revealed, based on the reservation numbers, the Ram 1500 REV is in high demand.

According to the RamRev website, consumers can no longer place a reservation order for the all-electric Ram 1500 REV. While those interested in the all-new pickup truck only had to put down a down payment of $100, it’s indicative of the excitement over Ram’s first EV. From the day of the announcement, it took only seven days for reservation orders to sell out. We do not know how many trucks Ram took for reservation, but the automaker will be pretty busy, given the number of orders. For comparison, when the Ford F-150 Lightning debuted, it had close to 45,000 reservation orders within two days.

Along with a new innovative design, the Ram 1500 REV is expected to arrive with several new features. These include 28 inches of screen space, removable third-row jump seats, and a track rail attachment system. This system will allow owners to convert the center console into a workstation surface. The Ram 1500 REV is also expected to feature a rearview mirror with a 360-degree camera, an augmented reality heads-up display, and Level 3 autonomous capabilities. With so many high-tech features, it’s no wonder that reservation orders were filled as quickly as they did.

All-Electric Ram Will Be Called The Ram 1500 REV

Ram has officially confirmed the name for its first all-electric pickup truck, the Ram 1500 REV. The automaker toyed with several names, including Ram BEV and Ram Revolution, but the name that stuck was the short and simple Ram 1500 REV. Seemingly an abbreviation for revolution, the Ram 1500 REV symbolizes the all-electric pickup truck’s impact on the automotive industry. With its EV pickup truck, Ram wanted to redefine the truck segment by offering an all-new customer experience integrated with advanced technology. Based on the expected features and innovations, the electric pickup truck will do exactly that.

Ram Confirms EV Name: Ram 1500 REV

The all-new, all-electric Ram pickup truck has an official name, the Ram 1500 REV. Ram debuted its first electric truck at the 2023 Consumers Electronic Show. There, consumers got a firsthand look at the groundbreaking EV pickup. With the Ram 1500 REV, Ram wanted to redefine the truck segment by introducing a revolutionary truck that would combine a new customer experience with advanced technology. The automaker spent months leading up to the production of the truck touring the United States in an attempt to discover what truck enthusiasts would like to see in an EV truck. About the Ram Real Tour, Ram CEO Mike Koval Jr said,

“At Ram, we started a revolution last year as we invited consumers along on the beginning of our electrification journey, gathering their feedback on exactly what they are looking for in an electric pickup truck,” said Mike Koval Jr. “We look forward to delivering our first EV pickup – the all-new Ram 1500 REV – to those consumers next year. We are confident the Ram 1500 REV will push past the competition, offering what will be the leading combination of attributes customers care about the most: range, payload, towing, and charge time.”

The Ram 1500 REV is expected to provide an innovative and exciting experience. Riding on the Stellantis EV platform, the truck features an ultra-modern concept. The Ram 1500 BEV is both aggressive and elegant and styled with a fully animated LED fork design that reaches into the front bumper flares and the taillamps. The truck’s doors have also been designed with a saloon-style opening. Still functional as a pickup truck, the Ram EV offers a multi-function tailgate and powered side steps. Inside there’s a 28-inch two-screen display that can be rearranged. The center console can also be converted to a workstation surface. While details about performance have not been released, the Ram 1500 REV is expected to offer top-of-the-line towing and payload capacity. It’s also expected to feature a range extender.

Ram To Offer Autonomous Robot Charger With 2024 Ram BEV

Ram will introduce an autonomous robot charger for the all-new 2024 Ram Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV). The all-electric pickup truck was recently revealed at the 2023 Consumers Electronic Show. Set to debut later this year, the Ram BEV is expected to lay the foundation for future Ram EVs. According to Ram, the Ram 1500 BEV will pave the way for its Stellantis Dare Forward 2030 strategic plan, which aims to reduce global carbon emissions by using clean and innovative solutions. After months of teasing, the 2024 Ram BEV exceeded expectations by offering a new customer experience integrated with advanced technology. This new autonomous charger is a part of that advanced technology, so we’ll take a closer look and see what consumers can expect.

2024 Ram BEV Will Feature Autonomous Robot Charger

Ram will introduce an autonomous robot that can charge the all-electric Ram BEV. First revealed at the 2023 Consumers Electronics Show, the 2024 Ram BEV is expected to lay the foundation for future Ram EVs. Many could get a firsthand look at the long-awaited electric pickup truck, which far exceeded expectations. Riding on the Stellantis EV platform, the Ram BEV features an ultra-modern concept with an aggressive but elegant design. The pickup truck is expected to offer advanced features like a 360-degree camera, Level 3 autonomous capabilities, and an interior track rail attachment system. The Ram BEV will also likely offer a shadow mode feature that allows the truck to follow owners around.

As for the autonomous robot charger, Ram has stated that the Ram Charger robot was created to enable hands-free recharging. The autonomous robot will reportedly find the owner’s Ram BEV and charge it for them. It will automatically detect the electric pickup truck and align itself underneath it to begin the charging process. The robot was designed to make home charging as easy as possible. While some would argue that charging an EV at home is not all that difficult, Ram’s goal here is to make its all-new Ram EV as accessible and user-friendly as possible.

EFI Automotive is developing the Ram Charger robot. The company has been working on the autonomous charger bot for the past five years. It’s expected to have a range of 5 to 10 meters and will be able to charge more than one EV at a time. The company has stated that the system will improve charging efficiency and utilize first-level communication with the vehicle. It will also be able to avoid any obstacles. The estimated arrival of the autonomous Ram charger is 2025, so it will arrive a year after the 2024 Ram BEV. Although it may seem somewhat silly for homeowners to use the charger, the practicality of the charger extends to larger companies with fleet vehicles. Companies like USPS or Amazon could benefit from Ram’s autonomous robot charger significantly.

Even With EVs, The Ram 1500 Is Not Going Anywhere

No, Ram Truck does not have any plans to stop selling its internal combustion engine Ram 1500 pickup truck. Many consumers and fans were able to get a glimpse of the automaker’s first all-electric vehicle at the 2023 Consumers Electronics Show. Called the Ram 1500 BEV, the all-electric pickup truck made a good impression as a powerful and innovative vehicle. With its first EV, Ram wanted to ensure that truck enthusiasts would have access to all the qualities and aspects that make internal combustion engine trucks so appealing. While Ram did not release all the details of the Ram battery-electric vehicle, it seems that that was a number one priority when creating the EV pickup. As more automakers look toward an EV future, some have feared that combustion engine vehicles might fade away. Ram is here to remedy that fear by guaranteeing that its highly acclaimed lineup will continue to offer both EVs and internal combustion engine vehicles.

Ram Will Continue to Sell ICE Pickup Trucks

Ram fans have nothing to fear as the highly capable and versatile pickup combustion engine truck is here to stay. The automaker recently unveiled its all-new all-electric Ram 1500 BEV which took many by surprise with its ingenuity. While Ram is known for its reliable and capable pickup trucks, many were curious as to how an electric Ram truck would look and function. In preparing for the Ram 1500 BEV, Ram made sure to gather as much information as possible. This included touring the United States in what the automaker called the Ram Real Talk tour. This tour consisted of conversations with truck owners to gauge their opinion on their ideal electric pickup truck. About the information gathered, Ram Mike Koval Jr. said,

“The conclusion from all of that feedback, which was invaluable, was this: We are open-minded to the idea of heavy electrification in the pickup truck segment, but trucks still need to do truck things,” said Mike Koval Jr. “Do not sacrifice or compromise on the core attributes that we find the most valuable, which are payload, towing, range, and charge time.”

Based on the feedback Ram received, it seems that an EV pickup truck was not entirely off the table for consumers. Instead, truck owners and enthusiasts wanted to see a dedicated truck rather than an electric gimmick. With the Ram 1500 BEV, it seems all the key areas were given top priority. While not all the details have been released, the Ram 1500 BEV is expected to offer top-of-the-line towing and payload capacity. It’s also expected to feature a range extender for increased battery range. For now, Ram will continue to make improvements to its EV truck until its release later in the year. In the meantime, the automaker has stated that it will not stop offering its iconic internal combustion engine truck, but will focus on offering both EVs and ICEs.

This marks the fifth time the Ram 1500 has been selected by Car and Driver, demonstrating its persistent capability and versatility as a light-duty pickup truck. Operating as an automotive magazine, Car and Driver helps consumers by researching and reviewing different vehicles across various segments. In determining which vehicles have the best value, Car and Driver allows consumers to find the right vehicle for them. While Ram has introduced its first all-electric truck, the Ram 1500 BEV, its combustion engine truck continues to receive praise as one of the most dominating pickup trucks. We’ll look at the 2023 Ram 1500 and see how it continues to be successful.

2023 Ram 1500 Is Once Again A 10Best Truck

The 2023 Ram 1500 was recently selected for Car and Driver’s 10Best Trucks and SUVs list. This marks the fifth time the light-duty pickup truck has been chosen, and it’s no surprise. For years the Ram 1500 has dominated the truck segment with its high capability and versatility. With a starting MSRP of $37,410 (plus destination fee), the 2023 Ram 1500 offers owners an experience beyond the average pickup truck. Unique trims like the TRX offer 702 horsepower and 650 lb-ft of torque, giving owners an unstoppable truck. The Ram 1500 TRX provides a 0-60 mph time of just 4.5 seconds and is designed for high performance and off-road capability.

Aside from solid performance, the 2023 Ram 1500 offers an impressive towing ability. Equipped with a 5.7L Hemi V8 engine, the Ram provides 12,750 pounds of towing capacity. Owners will have no trouble hauling and towing, especially with all the driver-assist features the Ram offers. Features like trailer reverse steering control let drivers steer their trailer where needed. It also enables them to reverse in a straight line. Additional trailering features include a digital rearview mirror with an LCD monitor and a 360-degree surround view camera that lets drivers see what’s around their trailer.

The 2023 Ram 1500 also offers an impressive interior boasting one of the most excellent cabins in the segment. Owners will note the upscale materials and premium leather surfaces ladened throughout. Naturally, the luxury aspect increases the higher in trim one goes. Still, even without the top-of-the-line trim, the Ram 1500 offers a spacious and comfortable cabin with many cubby storage compartments. There’s also a panoramic sunroof. A 12-inch touchscreen serves as the infotainment system. Safety features include blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alerts, adaptive cruise control, and more. All in all, it’s as Car and Driver says, the 2023 Ram 1500 is one of the best pickup trucks available.

2024 Ram 1500 BEV Will Receive Range Extender

The all-new 2024 Ram 1500 BEV will reportedly arrive with a range extender. Ram officially debuted the all-electric pickup truck at the 2023 Consumers Electronic Show. Ram unveiled its highly touted Ram EV, showcasing the concept art and some expected features. Although Ram did not reveal all the details about the all-electric Ram 1500 BEV, it’s expected that the EV pickup truck will redefine the truck segment. It’s also expected to pave the way for Stellantis’ Dare Forward 2030 strategic plan, which aims to reduce global carbon emissions using clean, innovative solutions. For now, we’ll take a closer look at the 2024 Ram 1500 BEV and discuss what a range extender would mean for the EV truck.

Will The 2024 Ram 1500 BEV See A Range Extender?

According to Stellantis CEO Carlos Tavares, the Ram 1500 BEV will feature a range extender. For electric vehicles, a range extender typically serves as an internal combustion engine that can recharge the vehicle’s battery on the go. This technology helps owners see additional range both when driving and when towing. As the Ram 1500 BEV is expected to feature powerful towing abilities, Ram will likely ensure it has both the capability and range to get the job done. While details were kept minimal about the all-electric pickup truck, it seems likely that the Ram BEV will see a range extender and some other electric features that will set it apart from the competition.

As for the Ram 1500 BEV itself, from what was shown, the pickup truck is expected to arrive with an aggressive and elegant design. It will ride on the Stellantis EV platform and feature animated RAM badging on its front fascia. The front will have a fully animated LED fork design with LED lights integrated inside the front bumper flares and the taillamps. The truck’s doors will feature a saloon-style design, and the side view mirrors will be small and compact. The truck will also ride on 35-inch tires and feature a powered multi-function tailgate.

Inside the Ram 1500 BEV, consumers will find a spacious interior with a flexible cabin layout. The dashboard features the same fork design used for the front grille. It also features stitched material as a design element. The Ram EV offers third-row jump seats and a glass roof. For functionality, the center console can be converted to a workstation surface. As for technology, the Ram 1500 BEV features a full two-screen display and a rearview mirror packed with a 360-degree camera. So far, we know the 2024 Ram 1500 BEV will be a highly unique electric pickup truck. While the full details have not been revealed yet, as we move closer to the road-ready version, Ram will continue to provide information about its first all-electric Ram 1500.

2024 Ram 1500 BEV Revealed

Ram recently unveiled the all-new 2024 Ram 1500 Battery-electric vehicle (BEV) at the 2023 Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. Ram showcased the concept design and highlighted some of the capabilities the Ram 1500 BEV is expected to arrive with. Riding on the Stellantis EV platform, the truck features an ultra-modern concept with an aggressive but elegant design. The Ram 1500 BEV has animated RAM badging on its front fascia and a fully animated LED fork design. The LED lights come integrated inside the front bumper flares and the taillamps. The truck’s doors are designed with a saloon-style opening, and the side view mirrors are smaller and more lightweight. About the Ram 1500 BEV, Ram CEO Mike Koval Jr. said,

“The Ram 1500 Revolution BEV Concept is our clearest signal yet that we’re on the precipice of something extraordinary at Ram and points directly to where we’re going on our electrified journey,” said Mike Koval Jr. “At Ram, we’ve redefined what pickup trucks can be, and we will do so again by pushing past what competitors are offering by delivering the best electric pickups on the market.”

The all-new Ram 1500 BEV rides on 35-inch tires and features a powered multi-function tailgate, powered side steps, and a charge-port door on the driver’s side. Owners will note the spacious interior inside the electric pickup truck, which is owed to the truck’s longer cabin length and dual-motor setup. Owners offering a flexible cabin layout will note the fork design dashboard and stitched material upholstery. The truck provides third-row jump seats that can be removed for additional space and a glass roof for ambient lighting. The center console can also be converted to a workstation surface.

For technology, the Ram 1500 BEV features a full two-screen display. Owners will have 28 inches of screen space as their centerpieces. They can move the lower display and shift the upper screen using the unique Ram track rail attachment system. The electric truck offers a rearview mirror packed with a 360-degree camera and speakers for safety. A 360-degree view is also available when reversing. Additional features include a personal vehicle assistant, an augmented reality heads-up display, and Level 3 autonomous capabilities. With so many features and capabilities, the 2024 Ram 1500 BEV will prove a troublesome competitor to other automakers who have already released an electric truck.

3 Reasons to Consider the 2023 Ram 2500 Rebel

The 2023 Ram 2500 Rebel is a heavy-duty pickup truck with a lot to offer. Released as a new trim for the Ram 2500, the Rebel trim takes the already impressive pickup truck and adds increased performance and capability. Those in need of a powerful off-roader that doubles as a capable tower will find the Ram 2500 Rebel to be a promising choice. Sitting on a Power Wagon structure, the heavy-duty pickup comes with a variety of new changes both inside and out. As such, we thought we’d list three reasons why consumers should consider the 2023 Ram 2500 Rebel which starts at an MSRP of $68,525 (plus destination fee).

  1. Off-Road Capability

The first reason to consider the 2023 Ram 2500 Rebel is its superior off-road capability. Equipped with 11.1 inches of ground clearance and 33-inch all-terrain tires, the Ram 2500 is prepared for any type of terrain. The heavy-duty pickup truck is reinforced with a high-strength steel frame and has monotube shocks with a rear coil suspension that provides a smooth driving experience. Underbody skid plates also help protect against any rocks or debris that may harm the transfer case or fuel tank. For trails, the Ram 2500 Rebel makes use of a limited-slip differential that helps prevent traction loss. The touchscreen inside the cabin also provides multiple camera angles to help drivers navigate tough terrain and clear obstacles.

  1. Towing Ability

The second reason to consider the 2023 Ram 2500 Rebel is its impressive towing ability. The heavy-duty pickup truck offers owners two engine options. The first is a 6.7L turbo diesel engine that delivers 370 horsepower and 850lb-ft of torque. The second is a 6.4L V8 that delivers 410 horsepower and 429lb-ft of torque. The 6.7L uses a 6-speed automatic transmission while the 6.4L uses an 8-speed automatic. With up to 16,870 pounds of towing capacity and 3,140 pounds of payload, the Ram 2500 Rebel has no issue towing and hauling. Additional driver assist features like trailer tow mirrors and a 360-surround view camera give drivers greater visibility when towing.

  1. Mopar Design

Finally, the Ram 2500 Rebel has a unique Mopar design that helps it stand out among Ram’s esteemed lineup. The heavy-duty pickup truck arrives with a Mopar sport performance hood as well as a distinguished front grille. The Ram 2500 also sports Rebel badging and features a crew cab configuration. Most significant of all is its six-foot four-inch truck bed which is longer than the Ram 1500 Rebel. With the 2023 Ram 2500 Rebel, owners will have a powerful pickup truck that not only looks bold but also has the capability and versatility to back it up.

2024 Ram 1500 EV Clay Model Shows Expected Design

The 2024 Ram 1500 EV is almost here. In January, Ram will unveil the concept pickup truck at the 2023 Consumer Electronics Show (CES). There, consumers will see the all-electric pickup truck that Ram has been teasing for months. Since it was first announced, Ram has been working toward creating the ultimate electric truck. The automaker has toured around the country, asking consumers what qualities they would like to see in an EV pickup truck. So far, Ram has stated that the Ram EV would feature over 400 miles of battery range and a range extender. While additional details have yet to be revealed, the official concept art and performance standards will be confirmed at the CES. For now, Ram has released a clay model depicting the truck’s appearance. We’ll take a look at the model and see what consumers can expect.

What Will The 2024 Ram 1500 EV Look Like?

Ram has released a clay model depicting what the all-new, all-electric Ram 1500 is expected to look like. Thus far, the automaker has only released teaser images that have yet to show too much detail about the electric pickup. Along with these images, Ram has toured the country as part of its Ram Real Talk Tour. The automaker gathered feedback about the perfect EV pickup by asking consumers questions about battery range, capability, and charge time. Thankfully, as the 2023 Consumer Electronics Show (CES) draws near, Ram is providing consumers with a bit more to go on.

Looking at the clay model released by Ram, the pickup truck appears to feature a four-door crew cab configuration and a conventional shape. While the model does not give away too much information, the truck may have a lower roof and bulging fenders. The model also appears to have slim video cameras instead of side-view mirrors. This would help improve the aerodynamics of the truck by reducing drag, though it is uncertain if this will make it to production. Ram has not given much detail, but according to the automaker’s CEO, Mike Koval, the truck will “exceed what competitors have announced so far.”

Set for January 2023, the CES presentation will feature Stellantis CEO Tavares as he discusses the brand’s vision for the future. According to Tavares, this vision will revolve around the Stellantis Dare Forward 2030 strategy, which aims to reduce global carbon emissions using innovative, clean, and safe solutions. These solutions include the all-electric Ram 1500 EV and the automaker’s battery-electric Ram ProMaster Van. The CES is only a few weeks away, so we’ll stay tuned for what Ram has in store for its first all-electric pickup truck.
