Although not advertised, Mitsubishi Motors has a special division dedicated to creating some outrageous concepts. Known as the Special Vehicle Projects (SVP) division, the SVP is actually behind a variety of custom Mitsubishi vehicles. We just don’t see many of them. That would be because most of these concepts show up overseas, like the new concepts by Mitsubishi in Tokyo that are mostly improvements on the Outlander PHEV and Eclipse Cross. A model showing up overseas we’re waiting on is the 2019 Mitsubishi Triton pickup truck, but Mitsubishi doesn’t plan on bringing the midsize truck to America until perhaps 2025. When it comes to SVP concepts, there’s always a possibility, especially when they show up at an auto show in the UK, like the recent Commercial Vehicle Show.
Safety features continue to become more advanced in today’s average automobile. There was once a time where everything was manual. Today, we have smart technology, and not just in our phones. We have things like adaptive cruise control, autonomous braking, and even autonomous vehicles. You can find technology like this in the 2017 Mitsubishi Outlander, an IIHS Top Safety Pick + recipient.
For the fourth year in a row, the Mitsubishi Outlander received a TOP SAFETY PICK+ (TPS+) from the Insurance Institute for High Safety (IIHS). The IIHS is a trusted organization for rating vehicle safety by putting it through several impact-crash simulations. Before it hits the streets, a car is smashed up and tested for safety in head-on collisions, side-impact, roof strength, head restraints, and crash avoidance and mitigation. To get a TPS+, a vehicle must get high ratings across the scorecard.
Expedition season is 365 days long here at your local Miami Mitsubishi dealership (and in South Florida in general). But that’s not the case for all the points within driving distance of the Mitsubishi Mirage.
So while the summer traveling season still has some life to it, we thought it might be helpful to layout a couple of South Florida road trips that take advantage of the Mirage’s great gas milage.
Owning a brand new Mitsubishi is an awesome thing, but it’s not for everyone. For some people it’s not financially prudent, for others it might be a style issue.
Fortunately for us, we get to help out everyone here at Miami Lakes’ Mitsubishi dealership and today we’re looking at some of the best choices available for people who are shopping for a used car.
The Mitsubishi Hall of Fame has a few icons that are easy winners for any buyer. Here are a couple of our favorites.
The 3000GT is one of a handful of notable cars from the 1990’s that is becoming iconic, so iconic that many are calling for its revival.
While this is a surprise to no one here at Miami Lakes Mitsubishi Dealership, we’re happy to diagram it out for anyone who has ever snapped their head around to watch a twin-turbo 3000GT pass by.
