What is the Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi Alliance Working on Now?

The Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi Alliance announced big news in March 2022 with its revised Alliance 2030 plan. Back in May 2020, the Alliance revised their 2025 plans due to the Coronavirus pandemic and how it affected the auto industry and the economy. However, nothing has really happened. The Alliance seems to like to announce “big news” and then not say anything for a few years – we’re still waiting on the first new model to come from the Alliance by Mitsubishi Motors, and they’re mainly focused on the new Outlander PHEV, like winning 2023 Family Green Car of the Year by Green Journal. The closest we’ve seen is the XFC Concept Mitsubishi shared at the Vietnam Motor Show 2022. It seems promising, but what is the Alliance working on? Let’s recap.

It’s that time of year! The holidays are happening and there’s plenty of cheer to go around. Whether going back home for Thanksgiving or holding a “Friendsgiving” with good friends, there’s always a chance to bring a little something homemade, especially when there’s a potluck. With so many recipes out there, it can be hard to choose, but we’ve picked a couple we know will blow people away. We’re going to get a little Asian cuisine going this year. Although Mitsubishi Motors originates from Japan, here’s a Thai-flavored appetizer that can pair well with the turkey or substitute it altogether.

Thai Coconut Chicken Soup

Have some picky eaters that aren’t crazy about turkey? Well, who doesn’t like chicken with a little spice? Just be sure to make plenty of this soup, because people will always ask for more. Some recipes prefer extra ingredients to make this dish a little more authentic, but we decided to make it a little easier for anyone in a bit of a rush. Most of these ingredients are easy to find at the local grocery store.

2023 Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV Wins 2023 Family Green Car of the Year

As the auto market makes its shift to more green vehicles, there will soon be a tipping point where electric vehicles (EVs) and battery-electric vehicles (BEVs) will be the more popular option. That day might still be a while away, with many drivers still in favor of gasoline options, but the industry shows no signs of keeping those on the table for very long. With alternative fuel the new trend for automobiles, consumers will want to know what is the best vehicle on the market, and if going by green standards, the source to turn to is the Green Car Journal. Update for the New Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi EV Company

In May 2022, Renault announced that it was ready to take the production of electric vehicles (EVs) in a new direction. Leading the Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi Alliance, Renault announced a new strategy to streamline EV development by creating a new EV company to take over. Nikkei Asia, the Renault automaker CEO, Luca de Meo, confirmed the interest of the other two partners in the Alliance, but more so presented the idea to Nissan and Mitsubishi Motors Corp (MMC). All three partners would need to make a heft investment to start a new subsidiary and build a new EV plant. Half a year later, and here’s where the two automakers stand.
