Kia Releasing New EV6 North American Utility Vehicle of the Year Limited Edition Model
The Kia Corporation has seen a lot of success lately. Ever since the automaker changed its design philosophy and adopted a more sports car take on their lineup, Kia models are as fun to drive as they look. Ever since the Kia Stinger (now discontinued) was released in 2018, consumers started flocking towards the brand for something new. The automaker certainly delivered, starting a GT-Line, X-Line, and a battery-electric vehicle (BEV) lineup, plus the electrification of some old favorites. The Kia EV6 is an award-winning BEV that surprised many consumers and the media. Followed by its also successful big brother, the Kia EV9, Kia wants to embolden the EV6 once more with a special edition before the EV9 takes over as the flagship model of the brand.
Monterey Car Week was such a treat this year. Running from August 11-20, 2023, there were a lot of things to see. Kia America in particular made its appearance to bring the U.S. much good fortune. At The Quail, a Motorsports Gathering, Kia America had some space for an exhibition of its own to show off the much-heard about EV9 all-electric SUV. Finally coming to the states, we no longer have to talk about this beauty as an overseas delight. There is no exact date when the EV9 will come to American shores, but at Miami Lakes Automall, we already have a few for some lucky consumers ready to go big and go green.
The main event was really about the new limited edition for the EV6. Known as the EV6 North American Utility Vehicle of the Year Limited Edition, the model is of course congratulating itself after the EV6 won the North American Utility Vehicle of the Year award during the North American Car, Truck and Utility Vehicle of the Year™ Awards. With only 1000 units set for production, this truly is a limited edition EV6 model.
“With the EV6 North American Utility Vehicle of the Year Limited Edition, we have created a rolling testament to the EV6’s tremendous achievement in this year’s NACTOY competition,” – Steven Center, COO and Executive Vice President, Kia America

Inside, the EV6 North American Utility Vehicle of the Year Limited Edition comes with some high-tier features, such as an Augmented Reality Head-Up Display. Always increasing the safety of its models, the limited edition EV6 also comes with Surround View Monitor (SVM), Blind-Spot View Monitor (BVM), and a heated, flat-bottom steering wheel and rear seats. Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) include Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist, (FCA) and Highway Driving Assist 2.
