Miami Lakes Automall 2018 Kia Cadenza Family Award

2018 Kia Cadenza Wins Best Family Large Sedan Award

Miami Lakes Automall 2018 Kia Cadenza Family Award

The Kia Cadenza is known for being a stylish and spacious sedan as well as one leaning very close to a luxury premium sedan. Some would even call it the second luxury vehicle in the Kia Motors sedan lineup, next to the K900. A great family car isn’t the first thing to come to mind, but as luck would have it, that’s exactly what some institutions think. Recently, the 2018 Kia Cadenza was recognized by U.S. News & World Report for winning the “Best Large Car for Families” award. That makes this year the second consecutive year for the Kia Cadenza to take home the honor.

Again, one wouldn’t immediately guess the Kia Cadenza is a family car. Right off the bat, leather upholstery is a lineup standard, in addition to heated front seats, a Smart Key with push-button start, smart shift and drive with three driving modes, dual-zone automatic climate control, an auto-defrost system, and an auto-dimming rearview mirror. What kind of driver wants to risk that smooth leather seating with food stains, puke, and drool? The exterior is also pretty upscale with heated exterior mirrors, solar control glass to keep the cabin from heating up, a sound-absorbing windshield and front door windows, LED rear combination lamps, automatic headlamps, a smart trunk, and integrated dual exhaust in chrome for a little style.

Alas, the large premium sedan is said to be a “family car,” and not just by Kia Motors.

“Plenty of large cars can handle family duty, but none do it as well as the Kia Cadenza. The Cadenza’s cabin has the space for car seats, but the kind of finishes that impress adults … It also offers available features, like a surround view camera, rear sunshades, a hands-free trunk and heated rear seats that you typically find on SUVs or luxury cars.” – Jamie Page Deaton, managing editor, U.S. News & World Report.

For the 2019 model year, the Kia Sorento SUV is receiving a few more changes, and they definitely make the Sorento look a little sleeker. Not enough changes to warrant a next-generation model, but enough changes to make it more competitive in the SUV market of the auto industry today.

2019 Sorento

Just because Kia has been busy introducing new models like the Kia Stinger, Kia Niro and Niro Plug-In Hybrid, doesn’t mean they are letting their other models fall by the wayside. In fact, Kia has just recently introduced a sketch of the official new design of the Kia K900 as well as announced new changes to the 2019 Kia Sorento.

2019 Kia Sorento Upgrades

Ranked Highest in Initial Quality in the midsize SUV class in the 2017 J.D. Power Initial Quality Study and rated number one in its class by the U.S. News and World Report, there’s not much doubt about the quality of the Kia Sorento, but Kia has recently announced they have plans to make 2019 Kia Sorento models even better.

There have been several changes made to the interior and exterior of the SUV. New for 2019, all Kia Sorento models will come standard with three rows of seats and seating for seven passengers. There are new added Driver Assistance Systems, a new available Harman Kardon-audio system with QuantumLogic as well as new wireless charging capabilities.

Drivers will benefit from the redesigned dashboard including a new steering wheel design, new shifter knob and a redesigned instrument cluster, and all passengers will benefit from the new air conditioning and heating options that will help to ensure everyone stays comfortable in their own zone.

Exterior changes include a facelift to the front end of the vehicle completed with a new headlamp and grille design. The exterior features a new bumper, a more refined tail lamp design  and a revised liftgate. The Sorento will also have three new wheel designs.

All-new Kia K900

The Kia K900 is a high-end luxury full-size sedan made by one of the most trusted and dependable automakers in the industry. Aside from the information that can be gathered from the released sketch, there aren’t too many details known about the features or qualities of the new K900, but Autoguide.com has suggested that the new model will be unveiled at the 2018 New York International Auto Show.

The sketch of the new model shows an updated front fascia and grille that is a lot more elongated than the front end of the current model. According to Kia, the new front end design include the ‘Quadric pattern’ grille, which it says has 176 jewel-shaped cells, along with the ‘Duplex comet’ headlamps and various chrome trim. According to Autoguide.com, the new model is expected to go on sale in the second quarter of 2018.

Kia Soul Sales Record + a Closer Look at the 2018 Kia Soul

Let the Celebration Begin!

Kia Motors America has proudly announced this week that the Kia Soul, their widely popular boxy looking urban passenger vehicle, has surpassed the one million mark! Over one million Kia Souls have been purchased since inception of this vehicle back in 2009. In less than a decade, literally over a million people have experienced its wonderful and unique design, the beauty of a great product and a comfortable interior ride with a premium powertrain.

Kia Soul Background

From early into the Kia Soul product launch, the marketing showed the car with digital hamsters promoting how cool it was to drive one. And cool it was- over a million times over. While the Kia Soul is known for its colorful exterior design and outrageous advertising campaigns in the past decade, the Kia Soul has become a staple for the brand for more than just flashy ads and a unique cube look.

What’s in a 2018 Kia Soul?

Inside the 2018 Kia Soul, drivers immediately notice its tailored, comfy ride for all. Ventilated driver and passenger seats circulate air and if it’s cold out, the heated front and rear seats are a great way to stay warm. From cloth to available leather seating, there’s something for everyone. The Kia Soul also features a push button start, LED mood lighting and dynamic color changing options, plus a wide panoramic sunroof showcase the beautiful interior.

Smartest and Safest KIA Soul Ever

Kia is proud to give drivers industry leading technology like the driver-assistance technology that provides Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB) which works independently of the driver in case the driver is distracted during critical situations, stopping the vehicle and preventing an accident. This works hand and hand with the Forward Collision Warning System that provides a warning message and alert to drivers of a slower or stopped vehicle ahead. If the driver doesn’t apply the brakes, the AEB system should ensure your safety.

Lane Departure Warning System is a camera based system that helps to keep drivers in sync with the lanes of the road they are traveling on because an alert sounds to notify drivers if they are not staying in their lane. The Blind Spot Detection system uses radar-based technology to warn drivers when there’s another vehicle in their blind spot and Rear Cross Traffic Alert lets drivers know if something is in their path when backing up.

Miami Lakes Automall Kia Motors Upcoming

Future Vehicles Coming from Kia Motors

Miami Lakes Automall Kia Motors Upcoming

Kia Motors is really turning the tables on the auto industry these days. It’s almost not fair, but hey, the auto industry is practically a war. Nothing is fair. We don’t mind though, because the more concepts and vehicles that come from the Kia Motors lineup, the more we have to love. After all, Kia vehicles are award winning models. Kia Motors earned strong marks from the J.D. Power Dependability Study, two models were named “Best Vehicle for the Money”, and the award-winning 2018 Kia Stinger is, well, award-winning.

Hybrids and Electric

Kia Motors is well known for making alternative fuel vehicles. They came out with the groovy Kia Soul hatchback in 2009 and quickly turned it into an all-electric vehicle. A similar pattern formed with the Kia Optima. First it came with the standard internal combustion engine, then a hybrid version came out, and then again with a plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) variation. The release of alternative fuel vehicles by Kia Motors is just becoming the norm.

Recently, more so mid-to-late 2017, Kia released the Kia Niro, a hybrid crossover and the first of its kind. It wasn’t long after its release that Kia started talking about making a plug-in hybrid variant of the crossover, having gained popularity sooner than expected. Before the end of 2017, that’s exactly what they did – the Kia Niro Plug-in Hybrid was officially added to the lineup.
