2021 Jeep Wrangler 4xe Gets a Warm Welcome

To the surprise of absolutely no one, the Jeep Wrangler 4xe received a warm welcome once it launched. While the popular Corvette C8 sits atop the list of fastest-selling vehicles for the month of April (2021), the all-new Wrangler 4xe hybrid came in a close second. Statistics indicate that the latest Wrangler took an average of only 10.5 days to sell, with an average price of $57,161. Jeep Forges its Green Path Forward

Jeep is on a journey to change its reputation from king of traditional SUVs to “green” electrified vehicles to lure modern buyers and pioneer electrified off-road vehicles amid a sea of competitors. Stellantis, Jeep’s new parent company formed after the merger of Fiat Chrysler and French automaker Groupe PSA, is counting on Jeep to be a large part of its electrification growth. Jeep currently offers three plug-in hybrid electric vehicles outside the U.S., while the all-new Jeep wrangler 4xe is slowly making its way to American dealer lots throughout the spring (2021). Jeep Launches “The Road Ahead” as the Brand Looks to the Future

The adventure never stops for Jeep as the brand recently launched a new campaign titled “The Road Ahead.” The :84 digital video is a continuation of the brand’s ongoing “The Middle” campaign, both aiming to celebrate 80 years of Jeep while looking forward to the future and all the innovation it entails. Jeep is destined to continue blazing trails for the next 80 years and beyond. “The Road Ahead” features images of historic Jeep vehicles as the voiceover reminds us it’s impossible to know where we are going if we can’t appreciate where we’ve been. Highlighting the brand’s brilliant past, the digital spot focuses on the electric future of Jeep as images of the all-new Jeep 4xe vehicles.

Jeep is One Step Closer to Getting a New Parent Company

Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA), the parent company of Jeep, is on the verge of finalizing a gargantuan merger with France’s Peugeot parent company. The finalized merger will create the world’s fourth-largest automaker: Stellantis. Now that PSA shareholders have taken a vote and approved the deal, FCA can consider its decade long search for a partner as coming to a close. Both General Motors and Volkswagen previously rejected FCA’s attempts at a merger. Officials suggest that the merger between the two giants is bound to yield billions of dollars in annual savings as Stellantis begins to pool its resources and accelerate the development of electric cars and electric technology. 2021 Jeep Wrangler 4xe Joins the Toledo Assembly Line

Fiat Chrysler Automobiles’ (FCA) Toledo Assembly Complex welcomed a new member to its assembly line — the innovative 2021 Jeep Wrangler 4xe, the first plug-in hybrid of its kind. For the first time ever in the history of the iconic Wrangler model buyers will be able to buy the most technologically advanced Wrangler with its zero-emission open air-driving capability, all while dominating the road both on and off the beaten path. Assembly of the 2021 Wrangler 4xe, including its 275-horsepower gasoline engine, 17 kilowatt-hour battery pack, and two electric motors was just integrated into the existing Wrangler assembly line with the addition of two new shifts. More than 3,000 UAW-represented employees at the Toledo North plant in Ohio are responsible for assembly. The 2021 Jeep Wrangler 4xe is destined to land in dealer showrooms in early 2021. Jeep’s 4xe Hybrid Technology Marks a Green Shift for the Automaker

“Green” is definitely not a word anyone would associate with the Jeep brand. As Fiat Chrysler Automobiles’ (FCA) off-road-oriented SUV brand, Jeep is known more for its off-road prowess and run-of-the-mill engines, but the automaker has a plan to adapt and pivot its reputation. Now that Jeep’s been making an effort to expand its lineup to include plug-in hybrid vehicles, it’s safe to say that the brand is embracing a more eco-conscious future.
