Jeep and Mopar come together again for another superstar concept for the annual Moab Easter Jeep Safari. Typically, Jeep and Mopar would release a compilation of concept images leading up to the grand reveal at the red rock event.

This year Jeep and Mopar went with a different approach. The dynamic duo has recently released an image of the concept vehicle every couple of days. The cautionary images work to build anticipation for the Moab Easter Jeep Safari.

The most recent sketch comes from Jeep and reveals a sneak peek at the internet-breaking: Jeep Wrangler Magneto. Additionally, the Jeep appears painted in Surf Blue (B5 Blue). The “Magneto” reads diagonally along the side of the hood, and next to that, the number “2.0.” The 2.0 signifies the second iteration of the Magneto concept.

The original Magneto concept was a fully battery-electric vehicle (BEV). The electric concept was a spirited ninja with unparalleled energy for rock climbing. The innovative team of Jeep, composed of engineers and designers, cultivated a vehicle with impeccable 4×4 capabilities, all while emitting zero emissions. As a result, last year’s Magneto provided a whole new perspective on efficiency, sustainability, and performance both on and off-road.

Inspiration for the Magneto originates from the two-door Wrangler Rubicon. Supporting the custom compact is a custom axial flux electric motor that handles up to 6,000 rpm. Additionally, connected to a 6-speed manual transmission was an e-motor that created a manual-electric powertrain. Lastly, paired to the manual-electric powertrain was a clutch that operated similar to pairing with an internal combustion engine (ICE).

The compact e-motor is similar to the 3.6-liter Pentastar V6, and the e-motor delivered 273 lb-ft of torque and 285 horsepower. The electrified powertrain propelled the Magneto from 0 to 60 in less than 7 seconds.

Last year’s Magneto revealed an electrifying Bright White color and Surf Blue accents. In addition, the Magneto sported a heavy-duty performance hood, custom decal, commanding full-width forward lighting, and a redesigned rear gate. The concept Jeep sports custom Royal Blue and Black leather seats plus Sapphire-colored straps.

Jeep equipped the concept vehicle with Jeep Performance Parts (JPP) to solidify the Magneto’s captivating appearance. The JPP includes a 2-inch lift kit, 17-inch “Lights Out” Black metallic wheels wrapped in 35-inch mud-terrain tires. The JPP also contained a custom roll cage, Mopar Rock Rails, steel bumpers that include a WARN winch, and a steel belly pan for heightened off-road capabilities.

Although the images above are of last year’s Magneto concept, we have a lot to look forward to at this year’s red rock auto show. This year’s Wrangler concept will serve as a guide to Jeep’s electrified future.

Jeep Concepts From Mopar Include Seven New Custom Vehicles for SEMA

Friday, November 5th, 2021
Miami Lakes Automall Jeep Wrangler 4xe Concept

The Las Vegas Convention Center is in for a car show they never anticipated, all thanks to Mopar. The Speciality Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Show kicks off November 2nd until the 5th (2021), and Mopar intends to introduce several intoxicating concepts. In addition, hundreds of custom vehicles, performance parts, and accessories will be on display for Mopar’s exhibit.

“With its dedicated enthusiast audience, SEMA is the best place to showcase our full catalog of quality-tested, factory-backed performance parts and accessories. These seven new custom vehicles demonstrate the passion, creativity, and innovation of the Mopar team.” – North American Vice President, Parts & Customer Care, Mark Bosanac.

Here’s a brief look at two fan favorites premiering at the SEMA Show.

Jeep Wrangler 4xe concept

When the award-winning plug-in hybrid electric vehicle premiered, fans embraced a hybrid with the appeal of the average Wrangler. But thanks to Mopar, Wrangler 4xe enthusiasts can customize the car with factory-backed parts and accessories from Jeep Performance Parts (JPP).

Customization commences with the JPP 2-inch lift kit FOX shocks. The Wrangler 4xe sits atop JPP Beadlock-capable Wheels with Beadlock Rings that mount with BF Goodrich KM3 37-inch tires. There are also custom underbody lights that illuminate the ground to evade damaging vehicles from rock or debris.

A JPP Gorilla Glass windshield is three times more durable than the average stock windshield. The JPP Gorilla Glass separates the pretenders for the adventuresome.

A pair of JPP 5-inch, off-road LED lights sit along the base of each A-pillar. Both LED lights utilize a concept A-pillar bracket. The A-pillar bracket permits the driver’s side light to loop around the plug-in charging port door on the fender.

Then there’s the premium Ivory Pearl exterior that extends to the JPP tube doors. The JPP rock rails and black accents receive an exquisite Dark Neutral Metallic Grey throughout the vehicle’s interior and exterior. There are also custom fender and hood graphics for the added flare of aggression for that superlative exterior emergence.

Jeep Wrangler Overlook Concept

Take a look at the Jeep Wrangler Overlook concept, and the Overlook Concept is sure to separate Jeep Wrangler Sahara enthusiasts from the pack. The Overlook concept takes on the four-door Wrangler Sahara and culminates in a three-row off-roader full of luxury features and a wide selection of goods from the JPP portfolio.

The Jeep Overlook Concept extends an additional 12 inches providing three rows of seating. Additionally, consumers receive an extra 5-inches in headroom from the standard with the custom, modular roofline.

The interior encases a luxurious black Katzkin leather seating and a black leather-wrapped dashboard. Both the seats and the dash premier accented Sahara Bronze stitching which take color coordination to new heights.

The center panels in the seats take on Raven Black suede with a unique hexed stitch pattern. Embroidered on the back of the front seats is the Jeep grille logo with the help of some beautifully engineered black sill guards that work to protect sill areas located under all four doors, featuring the vehicle’s logo.

Time to Accessorize the All-New 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee L

Tuesday, September 28th, 2021
Miami Lakes Automall Jeep Grand Cherokee L

“The all-new Jeep Grand Cherokee L presents a great opportunity for customization and personalization. Across the entire Jeep Grand Cherokee L lineup, we offer 75 factory-backed, quality-tested accessories.” -Mark Bosanac, Vice President of Mopar Service, Parts & Customer Care

Introduced in 1937, Mopar began its career as a source for antifreeze products. But by the muscle-mania era, Mopar looked to expand on curating performance instruments that enhanced speed and control. Mopar would later blossom into a zealous force in service, parts, and customer-care operations worldwide. Mopar currently distributes over 500 accessories in the Jeep lineup.

Below is just a select few of Mopar accessories for the all-new 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee L

New Side Steps

The new side steps flow with the vehicle’s design. The side steps fasten with three mounting brackets plus stud plates on each side, and no rocket science is not required. Constructing the side step consists of black galvanized steel with stainless steel and chrome-flashed overlay. The steps are then powder coated for a lasting finish once the overlay is complete.

Roof-mount cargo basket

The cargo basket provides that much-needed storage capacity when there’s not much room in the back from all the camping gear. The Canyon version roof basket stretches 44 inches long by 39 inches wide and a height of 6.5 inches premiering the Jeep logo. The maximum load capacity is 150 pounds. Keep that in mind when the in-laws start to agitate.

Roof-mount cross bars

The black roof-rack crossbars are essential for the roof-mount cargo basket. The roof rack comes equipped with two per kit, and attachment is plausible on vehicles containing production side rails.

New 21-inch wheels

The 21-inch wheels are granite crystal wheels featuring a five-spoke, triple-split design with the Jeep logo affixed in the centerpiece.

Watersport Carrier

The watersport carrier supports the transport of a kayak, surfboard, or even a sailboard. The carrier also includes multi-position cradles for flat or curved hulls. There are also latching and push-button nylon to contain cargo. The watersport carrier easily attaches to the roof-rack bars listed above.

“The Jeep brand continues to shatter expectations of the full-size SUV segment with the all-new 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee L. Now with a third row of seating for the first time, the newest iteration of the most awarded SUV ever is designed and engineered to deliver an unmatched combination of even more legendary 4×4 capability, superior on-road refinement, premium styling and craftsmanship inside and out.” -Vice President of Jeep Brand North America Jim Morrison

Here’s why Vehicle Protection Plans are Worth Buying

Wednesday, December 19th, 2018

Miami Lakes Jeep Mopar Vehicle Protection Plan

Basic warranties are often par for the course when a new vehicle is purchased – they range from three to five years of bumper-to-bumper coverage, with some additional longer warranties available on drivetrains and roadside assistance packages. When owners start running into trouble as their cars age, they often learn the hard lessons about what a warranty truly covers. A very proactive way to avoid these headaches-turned-nightmares is to purchase other optional protection plans that’ll provide owners with additional peace of mind down the road. For those who drive any vehicle from Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) – meaning any Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep or Ram vehicle – there are plenty of factory-backed protection plans from Mopar. (more…)
