Once again, the creators of the legendary 4×4 capability will gather together at this year’s Easter Jeep Safari. Mopar, Jeep, and Jeep Performance Parts (JPP) enrolled the “A-Team” to create a custom line-up comprising 4×4 and 4xe concepts. The vehicles will premiere on the red rock of Moab, Utah, and thousands of 4×4 enthusiasts will gather from April 9-17th, 2022, for trail rides and technical off-roading.

“Easter Jeep Safari is the perfect opportunity for the Jeep brand to push the limits of four-wheel-drive development and, most importantly, to stay connected with our customers. Moab is a rite of passage for many Jeep owners, and to own a Jeep is to truly understand the lifestyle – it’s what the Jeep brand is all about. Whether it’s a Jeep concept or the latest Jeep production vehicle, our customers have the chance to get up close and personal with our passion projects during this event. From a fully capable BEV off-roader to rugged and powerful terrain tacklers, every concept is a true reflection of what our customers tell us they want and give a taste of where the future of the Jeep brand and off-roading can go.”

-Senior Vice President and head of Jeep brand North America, Jim Morrison

For the 56th Annual Moab Easter Jeep Safari, Jeep branded and JPP concept vehicles feature a plethora of advanced powertrains. In addition, the Jeep Wrangler Magneto makes a miraculous return as the automaker’s first battery-electric vehicle (BEV). The Jeep Wrangler Magneto 2.0 is back and more powerful than ever, with four more Jeep 4xe concepts echoing Jeep’s sentiments of Zero Emission Freedom. Here’s a look into our personal favorite.

Jeep Wrangler Rubicon SUV in the desert
Jeep® Bob Concept

The Jeep Bob Concept

The Jeep Gladiator Rubicon is the beauty of when two worlds collide, and the Bob Concept embodies this vision perfectly. The Jeep Bob Concept is a child-like spin on the trend of “bobbing.” Bobbing (no relation to the apple game) is the long overhang of the pickup truck bed to make the pickup a more spirited off-roader.

Spend some time with the Bob Concept, and its missing features pop right out, such as the four doors and B-Pillars. In addition to the open-air freedom, the Bob Concept sports a perforated hardtop, and a canvas top provides shelter from various elements and natural lighting to seep through.

The exterior shimmers in a multi-finish paint scheme that incorporates mixed gloss and matte finish that screams the best of both worlds. Step inside Jeep Bob and look down. The bed floor is brightly lined with custom trimmed seats adding some heat to the cabin. Additionally, a carbon hood generates a finer airflow to the engine.

Of course, the Jeep Bob Concept’s outside matches the inside, starting with Jeep’s award-winning, turbocharged 3.0-liter EcoDiesel V6 engine. For those powerful torque loads the EcoDiesel V6 pairs with the TorqueFlite 8HP75 eight-speed automatic transmission. The V6 engine and transmission pair together to calibrate low RPM shifts to easily maneuver through more turbulent grounds. Moreover, the Bob Concept’s equipped with a Mopar cold-air intake that boosts torque and enhances fuel economy.

“Teaming up with the Jeep brand, there is no better place than the annual Easter Jeep Safari to show off our latest production and custom innovations to true off-road enthusiasts. Unlike any other aftermarket offerings, our factory-tested and factory-backed Jeep Performance Parts are specifically designed and engineered to face the toughest trails in the world.”

-North America Vice President of Mopar Service, Mark Bosnac

The 2022 Grand Wagoneer Christened the Luxury Utility Vehicle of the Year

Someone call DJ Khaled and let him know that Jeep owns the rights to Another One! The exquisitely designed 2022 Grand Wagoneer is named the Luxury Utility Vehicle of the Year by AutoGuide.com. The Luxury Utility Vehicle of the Year is one of many in a library full of accolades for the legend who sustains unbeatable 4×4 capabilities.

“Our judges gave the Grand Wagoneer high marks across the board, more consistently than any other finalist. The Grand Wagoneer is all-American luxury writ large, with acres of smooth Palermo leather covering nearly every surface. Those that aren’t are either tasteful chrome or gorgeous open-pore wood. If your tastes lean more techy, Jeep® will fit up to seven high-definition screens inside the Grand Wagoneer. A 23-speaker McIntosh sound system offers up studio-level audio quality. Uconnect 5 remains one of the best touchscreen interfaces on the market, crisp and clean and brimming with customization options. The reborn GW isn’t just about creature comforts, either. An available night vision display keeps you and yours safe on pitch-black back roads.

-Managing Editor for AutoGuide.Com, Mike Schlee

The Grand Wagoneer’s return provides a more romantic side to Jeep’s more rugged appeal. The luxurious interior is just one of many factors that attract Jeep enthusiasts to the Grand Wagoneer. For instance, under the hood rumbles a 6.4-liter V8 generating 470 horsepower. The engine’s paired with the Quadra-Drive II 4WD system and the Quadra-Lift air suspension.

There are three available 4×4 systems to create some luxurious off-roading. The 4×4 systems instill legendary capability. Its body-on-frame structure facilitates the class’s best towing capabilities with up to 10,000 lbs.

The Grand Wagoneer is the catalyst of premium SUVs. The premium Jeep SUV is a home away from home, a modern American appeal intertwined with intricately crafted finishes and innovative technology.

“The Grand Wagoneer is such a pleasant space to spend time. It’s all too easy to imagine driving across the continent in it, with only the hushed woofle of the V-8 up ahead. Erase all doubts: Jeep can build a true large luxury SUV to take on the world’s very best.”

 -Editor for AutoGuide.Com, Kyle Patrick

“Expert validations, such as this Luxury Utility Vehicle of the Year award from AutoGuide.com, are further proof of Grand Wagoneer’s world-class character. Since its rebirth one year ago, Wagoneer has attracted new customers, thanks to its suite of unmatched refinements, technology, comfort and safety executed at the highest levels.”

A Goody Bag Full of Jeep Concepts for the 56th Annual Easter Jeep Safari

It’s that time of year again where Jeep vehicles come together and collectively drop jaws. Jeep is on its way to Moab, Utah, for its 56th annual Easter Jeep Safari (April 9th-17th, 2022). Hundreds of thousands of Jeep devotees will come together for the world’s largest off-road convention. The Jeep Safari’s host is the Moab’s Red Rock 4-Wheelers club.

Of course, Jeep never disappoints but the automaker and Jeep Performance Parts (JPP) is hard at work. The automaker and JPP work vigorously to create several memorable Jeep concept vehicles that turn an excellent off-roader into a phenomenal off-roader. The only obstacle in the way of a successful Safari is its renowned 4×4 capability

Sneak previews of the Easter Jeep Safari lineup reveal the fire lineup headed to Utah. The Jeep and JPP sketches revealed a peek at two new concept vehicles. One of the concept vehicles included an electrified Jeep 4xe SUV. The 4xe SUV is on the minds and hearts of many Jeep enthusiasts, and it’s easy to see why since the SUV clobbers the most rugged terrains. Furthermore, the new 4xe gives Jeep another leg to stand on as the automaker builds on the vision of Zero Emission Freedom.

The History of the Easter Jeep Safari

The Moab Chamber of Commerce coordinated the first Jeep convention in 1967. The idea behind the gathering was to attract more visitors to the Moab area. Chamber leaders actively led the tour, and participants hiked through the Behind the Rocks Trail, the only trail available at the time. The first event was free, and participants received free ice cream delivered by airplanes.

By 1982, the convention grew, and so did the rules and regulations. In addition, the event required new permits and documentation, so Moab passed the responsibilities to Red Rock 4 Wheelers. As a result, Red Rock successfully expanded beyond the Behind the Rocks Trail and extended the meeting days.

Since Red Rock 4 Wheelers took over, the event caters to 1,000 people worldwide. What was once a one-day event is now an eleven-day event with over 125 trail options and 2000 vehicles. Even though the Easter Jeep Safari has evolved tremendously since 1967, Jeep enthusiasts rally together for “Big Saturday.” On “Big Saturday,” the vehicles line up on Main Street to pay homage to the Moab Chamber of Commerce.

The Jeep Grand Cherokee 4xe

The all-new 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4xe is the first Grand Cherokee to deliver plug-in hybrid capability. The Grand Cherokee 4xe attains an all-electric estimated range of 25 miles. The Jeep Grand Cherokee hybrid returns an estimated 57 miles per gallon-equivalent (MPGe), with an estimated total range of over 440 miles. The Cherokee 4xe will arrive in the US very shortly, in the early months of 2022.

The Jeep Wrangler 4xe

A monstrous SUV with the heart of a silent ninja, the new Jeep Wrangler 4xe renders 21 miles of relatively quiet, zero-emission. The Wrangler’s 4xe, electric-only propulsion holds an EPA rating of 49 MPGe so that the all-electric commuter can grace the roads without the fear of any range anxiety.

Another One! For Jeep With the Best SUV Lineup

Can someone ring up DJ Khaled because Jeep just won “Another one!” Once again, the Jeep brand receives accolades for its legendary 4×4 SUVs. Newsweek acknowledged the 80-year vet (Jeep) as the Best SUV lineup at the publication’s 2021 Auto Awards.

The all-new 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee L took home the Best Family SUV award. The Grand Cherokee L provides an array of extraordinary features and attributes sure to entice the entire family.

Newsweek praised the SUV for its spacious third row, exceptional infotainment system, groundbreaking technologies, and rare passenger comfort, proving the Grand Cherokee L a clear winner above the rest.

“The Jeep Grand Cherokee L does more than expand the Grand Cherokee family. It elevates the three-row SUV experience, making it possible to transport family members in comfort and style thanks to an outstanding list of standard and available features paired with classic Jeep 4×4 capability.” – Eileen Falkenberg-Hull, Senior Editor of Autos for Newsweek.

The 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee L persists with the legacy of the most awarded SUV ever. For the first time, the new Grand Cherokee L hosts up to seven passengers. In addition, the newly introduced L variant carries three rows of cozy passenger seating for the entire family and even the extended family. Not only is the Grand Cherokee L spacious but equipped with a rear-seat monitoring camera, so when the kids are feeling frisky, the rear-seat monitoring camera serves as eyes in the back of the driver’s head.

Many SUVs fall short of ample comfort, especially with third-row seating, but the Cherokee L is far from the other disappointments.

The Jeep Grand Cherokee L holds premium craftsmanship from the front bumper to the back bumper. In addition, the SUV features over 110 advanced safety and security features.

The flagship of the Jeep brand is the iconic 2022 Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer, the catalyst of premium SUV interiors. The interior of the Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer support the lifestyle of an active family.

In addition, both Wagoneer models feature best-in-class for overall passenger volume, total volume, third-row headroom, and second and third-row legroom.

“The Wagoneer brand is back, bringing with it a new way to experience full-size three-row SUVs. The Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer punch above their price tag weight, delivering the types of features, capability and design that families are seeking. On top of that, both models are incredibly easy to drive.” -Falkenberg-Hull.

The Wagoneer delivers the best towing capabilities in its class with up to 10,000 lbs. The towing capacity assures that any big-boy toy trails behind with little to no effort. In addition, the Grand Wagoneer raises the bar on luxury from its genuinely handcrafted Satin American  Walnut Wood trim, Palermo leather-trimmed seating, leather-wrapped instrument panel, consoles, and door panels fitted with accent stitching.

All three Jeep SUVs come equipped with the critically acclaimed U-Connect 5 infotainment system, in-car technology, and a customization experience like never before.

What’s Next for the Best, A Look at What Jeep Has in Store

Monday, November 1st, 2021
Miami Lakes Auto Mall Jeep

‘Go Anywhere, Do Anything’

The Jeep brand elicits champions from the very beginning. In the 1940s, the gladiators released the first valiant Jeep car that solidified the brand as a pioneer in 4×4 technology. Jeep progresses into the epitome of freedom, adventure, tranquility, and passion, all while surpassing 81 years in the business.

Eight decades of mud on the hood and Jeep remains synonymous with off-roading. Yet, despite the lack of efficient fuel economy, leisure, and interior fit and finish, Jeep fans are loyal and to a fault. The critically acclaimed Jeep Wrangler echoes this sentiment.

The evolution of Jeep progressed the all-new Gladiator with its off-road capabilities and the effectiveness of the Wrangler and a pickup truck to boot; talk about a Hannah Montana of a vehicle. There’s a breathtaking expedition infused throughout the Jeep lineup. Still, the Grand Cherokee’s handling, seat comfort, and simplistic controls clearly show why the Cherokee received the highest road test score.

Trail-ready equipment premieres standard on all Jeep models, insisting drivers look beyond the Jeep and enjoy the lustrous outdoors.

Jeep provides an array of reliability in every vehicle. The esteemed Jeep Wrangler embodies generation after generation of one of the most excellent midsize SUVs on the market today. An exhilarating experience packaged with every Jeep, the 2022 selection is more than capable of filling some massive shoes.

The Wagoneer

The Wagoneer will debut in 2022, and it will offer premium components, exceptional performance enhancements, and revolutionary technology. Additionally, the Wagoneer’s base model features a 5.7-liter V8 engine, and the engine can pair with a 48-volt hybrid system delivering that edginess and serenity simultaneously.

The Grand Cherokee

Jeep unveiled the two-row Grand Cherokee and Grand Cherokee 4xe (plug-in hybrid) and a significant redesign for 2022. The 2022 Grand Cherokee holds many similarities to the 2021 Grand Cherokee L, but the Cherokee holds a shorter wheelbase and two rows instead of the three-row seating.

The Grand Cherokee L

Jeep unleashed the Grand Cherokee L earlier this year with room for family and friends with the seven-seater.

Wrangler and Wrangler 4xe

The Jeep Wrangler is the first thing people think of when they think of Jeep. The iconic midsize SUV tackles mountains, trails, and mud with the ease of power and agility. The 2022 Jeep Wrangler will premier alongside the Wrangler 4xe, and the plug-in hybrid provides off-road efficiency and engine tranquility. Much like Rudy Gobert sneaking a point in the paint, the 4xe provides ferocious power and delicacy. A fuel efficiency rating of 49 MPGe makes for a solid build of an off-roader.

The Gladiator

The 2022 Jeep Gladiator will receive minor revisions from its premiere in 2020. The Gladiator’s roof may face removal, and it’s time for the complete fun-in-the-sun experience. But the truck is worth the second stare.

The Grand Wagoneer

The Grand Wagoneer is the long-lost brother of the Jeep lineup, but he’s back and ready to blow everyone away. The flagship of Jeep, the Grand Wagoneer, is a heavy contender in the full-size luxury segment. Even though the Grand Wagoneer was out of the game for some time,  the Wagoneer packs a potent powertrain with a 6.4-liter Hemi V8 producing 470 hp and 455 lb-ft of torque.

The Jeep Renegade

The underappreciated of all the Jeep’s, possibly because of its compact size. But the Jeep Renegade, when properly equipped, is a true off-roader. Even though the Renegade is a pleasant ride, adding an all-wheel-drive on the Trail hawk form elevates the Renegade to another level.

The Miami International Showcase

Stellantis will off-road onto the sandy beaches of the Miami International Auto Show, which began October 16th and ends October 24th (2021). There’s a variety of displays and interactive adventures thanks to the highly anticipated Camp Jeep off-road experience. Jeep’s long-lost son, the 2022 Wagoneer, will also make a grand debut along with the 2022 Jeep Compass, premiering Jeeps premium expansion. But the Stellantis display is not limited to Jeep. The Stellantis family also expands as vast as Alfa Romeo, Chrysler, Dodge, FIAT, and Ram.

Camp Jeep

The Jeep brand returns with a thrilling surprise Camp Jeep. Camp Jeep offers a one-of-a-kind experience that is interactive and fully immersive in the off-road experience. The 25,000 square-foot outdoor exhibit provides show attendees the opportunity to endure extreme off-road potential without ever leaving the sandy beaches of Ocean Drive.

There’s also a hill climb where Jeep enthusiasts can experience traction capabilities while climbing a 13-foot high, 35-degree Jeep Mountain. Seventeen feet from the ground as riders sit atop the Jeep Mountain. Camp Jeep will be Jeep’s 11th appearance at the Miami International Auto Show. Over 160,000 Miami Auto Show since 2006 have experienced Camp Jeep.

Jeep

Eighty years in the game, Jeep still finds new reasons to celebrate, including the all-new 2021 Grand Cherokee L and the 2021 Jeep Wrangler 4Xe. The Jeep Grand Cherokee evolves to three-row seating for the first time in a long time since the Grand Cherokee L. The Jeep Grand Cherokee unlocks new levels to unprecedented performance, comfort and functionality. All the while, the Jeep Grand Cherokee continues its legacy as the most awarded and illustrious SUV ever

The trailblazing Jeep Grand Cherokee L features over 110 advanced safety and security features. These features include advanced driver-assist systems, 360-degree surround view, and night vision cameras. In addition, the Grand Cherokee L provides advanced safety and security features and next-generation technologies such as 10-inch digital screens, Uconnect 4 with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, windshield head-up display, digital rearview mirror, rear-seat monitoring camera, and the premium 19-speaker McIntosh audio system

The vivaciously ferocious Jeep Wrangler lineup will include the 375-horsepower Wrangler 4Xe plug-in hybrid. The 4Xe offers 49 miles per gallon (MPGe) and 21 miles of all-electric range. The all-electric range is essential to those on that daily commute who worry about that engine noise while enjoying the cabin because the 4Xe’s cabin provides some serenity. There’s also more to love about the 4Xe such as zero-emission and open-air freedom to ease the range anxiety.

The new 2022 Jeep Compass is another beauty on display at the Miami Auto Show. The Jeep Compass comes redesigned from the inside out, with off-road capability, quality on-road manners, authentic styling, modern interior, and the safest technology features in its class.

Jeep Chose McIntosh’s Audio System Here’s Why

Monday, September 13th, 2021
Miami Lakes Auto Mall McIntosh
Miami Lakes Auto Mall McIntosh

Audiophiles are obsessed with McIntosh audio systems, and it’s easy to understand why. But, unfortunately, the McIntosh name isn’t a household name. But first, understand that McIntosh keeps the home audio segment on lock. The New York-based company set out its journey to quality audio in 1949. Then, in the mid-’90s, McIntosh waltzed into the car audio arena, but unfortunately, it took two to tango.

Automotive Transition

Initially, McIntosh introduced the MX406 Audio Center Control. The Audio Control Center included AM/FM Tuner and a CD Player. In addition, the single-DIN unit incorporated speakers with the trademark McIntosh blue meters.

The millennium strikes and McIntosh premiered the 200-watt McIntosh Audiophile Sound System for the third-generation Subaru Legacy and a Harley Davidson motorcycles system. By 2005-2006 the Ford GT received a customized audio system from McIntosh, but the relationship wasn’t lasting, and McIntosh retreated from the automotive audio industry.

The Lessons of ‘Failure’

McIntosh set out a goal, arousing interest in the home audio arena. So they bought a Jeep Grand Cherokee and installed a reference audio system. Next, McIntosh took the Jeep to Detroit and demonstrated the home system to the Stellantis dream team: Executive automobile designer Ralph Gilles and Former CEO of Fiat Sergio Marchionne were captivated by the audio system. Both knew the McIntosh to be the perfect fit for the new Grand Cherokee L and the re-energized Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer

Miami Lakes Auto Mall McIntosh

McIntosh MX1375

Available solely on the Jeep Grand Wagoneer, the entertainment system appears standard on the Obsidian and Series III models and optional on the Series II models. With 1,375 watts over 24 channels to 23 speakers stationary to 16 locations in the cabin. There are also 6×9-inch woofers in each door, four 2-inch ceiling mount speakers, and a 12-inch dual-coil subwoofer in the cargo.

McIntosh MX950

The audio system comes standard in the Grand Wagoneer, premium trims of the Grand Cherokee L, and optional in the Wagoneer Series III. The entertainment system consists of  950 watts over 17 channels through 19 speakers in 12 different locations throughout the vehicle. The speakers in both setups illuminate with the McIntosh logo, the volume and tuning knobs with ribbed edging similar to the home systems.

The Sound of Music

Attention to detail was the mantra. Jeep and McIntosh enriched the vehicles with quality sound and a vigorous bass in every trim level, starting with the trim fasteners and isolators on the interior panels. Jeep engineers also created a “low noise floor,” acoustically laminated glass, active noise cancellation, with sound restraining pads enclosed in the doors. The low noise floor stipulates a vehicle that sounds consistently impeccable, whether 80 mph or at a complete standstill.

Jeep Isn’t Tapping Out With the All-New Wagoneer

Tuesday, August 24th, 2021
Miami Lakes AutoMall Jeep Grand Wagoneer
Miami Lakes AutoMall Jeep Grand Wagoneer

The all-new 2022 Jeep Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer transition into a luxury market. Jeep progresses with the intention of a potential sub-brand for premium SUV buyers.

Just as Nike owns Jordan (the shoe that is), Stellantis looks to unleash additional features that will subsequently lead to the new brand-within-a-brand. Of course, nothing is officially set in stone, but the next phase of the Wagoneer will take some time. As eager as consumers may be, even the caterpillar took time to be a butterfly. Likewise, the Wagoneer needs time to grow before adding volume.

Premium Future

Tall side windows and upright pillars are just one of many amenities envisioned in premium variations of the SUV. Leather and wood greet consumers with the beautiful integration of the McIntosh audiophile sound system and Amazon’s streaming Fire TV technology. Amazon Technology is the first video screen providing the front seat passenger to browse the market.

Premium Horsepower

The Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer are equipped with Jeep’s most powerful engines ever. But the automotive world is gearing toward an electric future, and Stellanis is no different.

Future Jeep’s will see electric technology, and it doesn’t matter if the vehicles are conventional plug-ins, plug-in hybrids, or fully electric. Jeep intends for 70% of its models to be electrified by 2025.

With the SUV’s fuel economy numbers for the city being a young teen, the Wagoneer should see a plug-in drive system.

The Wagoneer will also transition platforms to the new Stellantis STLA frame. The skateboard style frame will face customization, which is needed to endure Jeep’s infamous off-road capabilities. The customization won’t be an easy task for the skilled automaker as Jeep will look to incorporate the SUV’s premium features when creating the Wagoneer sub-brand.

Premium Market

A subbrand was always within the foreseeable future for Jeep, similar to Jaguar Land Rover with its Range Rover. Finally, JJeep is reaching out to the consumer that isn’t afraid to above six figures. A Jeep sub-brand seems natural, but an iconic brand with such a heavyweight name, Jeep must be cautious not to let it dissipate.

The difficulty Jeep faces moving forward is carrying the legacy of the traditional Jeep badge. It won’t be too hard for the Wagoneer and the Grand Wagoneer since the vehicles are the most extensive and most expensive by far.

Other Jeep vehicles have spiked in price as the all-new top-of-the-line 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee L Summit Reserve midsize SUV debuted around $65,000.

Premium Rolls

Successful sub-brands exist, like the Land Rover Range Rover and the Mercedes-Benz with Maybach, AMG, and future all-electric EQS family. Unfortunately, many have failed to generate a successful sub-brand, such as Chevrolet’s Geo and Toyota with Scion in 2016. Jeep is heeding the precautions and making sure it doubles down on grand success with this premium SUV.

Jeep alleges as far as driving; it has the smallest big car amongst the Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer. But the smallest should be removed anytime anyone refers to the Wagoneer or Grand Wagoneer. The premium SUV stretches 214.7-inches long. The SUVs are constructed on a full-size pickup frame, and it includes a V-8 powertrain that makes for a powerful box.

No vehicle this grand is ever as simple. The big Jeep is built on the same frame as the Ram 1500, but the Wagoneer gains privilege from placement, the independent rear suspension employs a large amount of aluminum. The Wagoneer’s also implement a few chassis tweaks, which work to improve its on-road capabilities.

The Wagoneer is not a lightweight truck. With a composite liftgate, aluminum hood, fenders, and doors, the driver is lugging around 6200 pounds of beauty. Additional features on the Grand Wagoneer will move the weight of the SUV upward of 6450 pounds, which makes for nothing small on the voluptuous beauty.

Around town, the Wagoneer climbs some structural bumps, especially on twisting roads. Letting the Wagoneer settle in a specific position is recommended before transitioning in the opposite direction. The Wagoneer demands a lot of attention. But if life is a highway, the Wagoneer is the perfect vehicle to ride it all night long, simply smooth sailing.

The Wagoneer provides some reminiscing with the two-spoke steering wheel, and it offers an opaque connection to the tires and a feel that is light as air. There are a combined seven trims for the Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer.

The Wagoneer comes in three variations, all of which are powered by Chrysler’s Hemi 392-horsepower 5.7-liter V-8. The Wagoneer’s system is supported by Chrysler’s 48-volt eTorque hybrid system and the eight-speed automatic transmission. The preliminary throttle application powered by an electric assist provides 130 lb-ft of torque, providing a flawless start-stop system experience. An optional 3.92:1 axle ratio provides the Wagoneer mass to maneuver intelligently.

The Grand Wagoneer is equipped in four variations and a beautiful 6.4-liter V8. The Grand Wagoneer carries 471-horsepower and 455 lb-ft of torque; that’s 14 horses and 20 lb-ft less than the infamous Scat Pack Challenger. But, unfortunately, the Grand Wagoneer has no hybrid system. As a result, the Wagoneer jumps from 60-mph in less than 6 seconds. However, the Wagoneer with electric assist claims 60-mph in 7.3 seconds.

The fuel economy numbers carry a reading of 15 mpg within the city and 20 on the highway. That’s a combined total of 17 mpg combined. The Grand Wagoneer reads 13 mpg city, 18 mpg highway, and 15 mpg combined.

Standard with the Wagoneer, a load leveler setup for the rear suspension. Quadra-Lift air springs come standard on the Grand Wagoneer Series III. The springs lift the truck by 1.7 inches giving the SUV 10-inches of ground clearance and 24 inches of water traversing capabilities. But, of course, what goes up must come down, and the SUV lowers while driving 0.6 inches to enhance its aerodynamics. The SUV can also be reduced by an inch when parked for ingress and egress.

The Grand Wagoneer provides a captivating experience not just in comfort but an exceptional interior design. Wood flows through the dash and center console. Not interested in the American Walnut? Don’t worry, there’s also the aluminum trim. The seats are spacious, and every row is easily accessible. The start button is also leather-wrapped along with coat aluminum gear-selection knobs.

The box shape of the SUV it’s sure to leave guests and onlookers astounded. The SUVs’ headroom and legroom are so spacious. If anyone throws anything from the backseat, the optional camera for the front row will catch it all.

There are four screens located at the front of the Grand Wagoneer. There’s also a digital gauge cluster accompanying a 12.3-inch for the Grand Wagoneer and a 10.3-inch touchscreen for the Wagoneer. Below the touchscreen is a smaller screen for secondary controls for the heater and massage. The bottom screen can also flip to reveal a storage area with power outlets.

Jeep’s titan of a vehicle offers bountiful surprises that will continue to leave Wagoneer consumers surprised every time they push the leather start. Each trim provides a unique experience—Amazon Fire TV integration provided in the middle row screens and two quality McIntosh audio systems.

Referring to the SUV as a big small car is a step in the wrong direction, especially with the pricing structure. The Wagoneer Series II and III arrive within the next few weeks, and pricing begins at $72,995 and $77,995, not including destination fees. The Grand Wagoneer will start at $88,995, with the Series III starting at $105,995.
