Four 2018 Jeep Trailhawk Models

Well, it gets better. Jeep Grand Cherokee Trailhawk

Engine

Standard equipped with a 3.6-liter V6 engine, the Grand Cherokee Trailhawk produces 260 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque. The Grand Cherokee Trailhawk has a fuel economy of 18 mpg in the city and 25 on the highway, and it has a maximum towing capacity of 6,200 pounds. Consumers looking to upgrade the Grand Cherokee Trailhawk with a more powerful engine can do so with the 5.7-liter HEMI engine (360 horsepower, 390 lb-ft of torque).

Off-road System

The Jeep Grand Cherokee Trailhawk is equipped with a heavy duty off-road system – Jeep Quadra-Drive II 4×4 System with rear Electronic Limited Slip Differential (ELSD). Beneficial for all weather condition including rain and snow, the Quadra-Drive also includes a Quadra-Lift Air Suspension that allows drivers to increase the vehicle’s height by 1.6 inches for additional off-roading capabilities.

Vehicle Size

The largest of all Jeep models, the Jeep Grand Cherokee is a very spacious five passenger SUV. The trunk space provides 36.3 cubic feet of cargo room and there is a max cargo volume of 68.3 cubic feet.

Ground Clearance + Angles

Another impressive feature included in the Jeep Grand Cherokee Trailhawk is the ground clearance – 10.8 inches to be exact. Plus the Grand Cherokee has a 25.7 degree breakover angle, a 26.2 degree approach angle and a 24 degree departure angle.

Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk

Engine

Equipped with a standard 2.4-liter 4-cylinder engine, the Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk also has the option for consumers to upgrade the engine, and its available upgraded engine is a 3.2-liter V6 engine. The standard 2.4L engine produces 184 horsepower with 171 lb-ft of torque, while the 3.2L engine produces a more powerful 271 horsepower with 239 lb-ft of torque. The Cherokee Trailhawk has an estimated fuel economy of 18 mpg in the city and 24 mpg on the highway plus a maximum towing capacity of 4,500 pounds.

Off-road System

The Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk is equipped with the Jeep Active Drive Lock 4×4 system. Included in this system is a Selec-terrain Traction System, real axle disconnect plus brake lock differentials. Also, the Cherokee has a Trail Rated mechanical rear axle lock and a 56:1 crawl ratio – NOT BAD!!

Vehicle Size

As a five-passenger SUV, the Cherokee Trailhawk has 24.6 cubic feet of cargo space in the trunk and once the second-row seats are folded down, the cargo space volume increases to 58.9 cubic feet.

Ground Clearance

The Cherokee Trailhawk has a total ground clearance of 8.8 inches, a 32.2 degree approach angle, 27.1 degree breakover angle and a 23 degree departure angle.

Jeep Renegade Trailhawk

Engine

The Jeep Renegade Trailhawk has a standard 2.4-liter 4-cylinder MultiAir engine that produces 180 horsepower and 175 lb-ft of torque. The 2.4L engine is a fuel efficient engine and it gives the Renegade Trailhawk an average fuel economy of 21 mpg in the city and 29 mpg on the highway. The Jeep Renegade Trailhawk has a maximum towing capacity of 2,000 pounds.

Off-road System

Equipped with the Jeep Active Drive Low 4×4 system, the Renegade Trailhawk’s 4×4 system includes a rear axle disconnect, brake lock differential and Selec-terrain system. The Selec-terrain system has four driving modes – auto, snow, sand and mud. In order for the Renegade Trailhawk to accomplish the best off-roading experience for each terrain, traction is distributed to the correct wheels according to the driving mode.

Vehicle Size

The Renegade Trailhawk has a five-passenger maximum seating capacity, plus 18.4 cubic feet of truck space and with the second-row seats folded down, the total cargo volume is 50.8 cubic feet.

Ground Clearance

The Jeep Renegade Trailhawk includes an 8.7-inch ground clearance, 25.7 degree breakover angle, 30.0 degree departure angle, and a 34.3 degree departure angle.

Engine

Just like the Jeep Renegade Trailhawk, the Compass Trailhawk is equipped with a 2.4-liter 4-cylinder MultiAir engine that produces 180 horsepower and 175 lb-ft of torque.

The Compass Trailhawk comes with the same Active 4×4 Low System that the Jeep Renegade Trailhawk has.

Vehicle Size

The Compass Trailhawk has a five-passenger maximum seating capacity, as well as 27.2 cubic feet of truck space and a total cargo volume of 59.8 cubic feet once the second-row seats are folded down.

Ground Clearance

With an 8.5-inch ground clearance, the Compass Trailhawk has a 30.3 degree approach angle, 33.6 degree departure angle and 24.4 degree breakover angle.

Renegade Trailhawk – Made For Much More Than The Road

The Jeep Renegade is a compact SUV that was first released in 2015. Though the Renegade still has Jeep’s signature seven-slot front grille, it has a style and design that is fairly different from other Jeeps.
