The Jeep brand just announced that it’ll be returning the Wrangler Willys edition to the SUVs 2020 lineup, along with an all-new 2020 Wrangler Black & Tan edition. Both special edition models are based on the Wrangler Sport S trim and offer unique exterior and interior accents. “Special editions are a perfect way for Jeep to connect with customers and feed their ideas and passion into the brand and its vehicles. Wrangler Willys harkens back to the original Jeep while Wrangler Black & Tan offers a unique look with a tan top. The Jeep brand has broken new ground when it comes to product placement as the automaker had an episode of NBC’s Songland devoted to it. As part of the very last episode of the songwriting competition, the Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) brand enjoyed an hour of television dedicated entirely to its brand. Judges included FCA Chief Marketing Officer Olivier Francois as they all considered the contestants and their respective entries while opting to select a song that encapsulated the Jeep brand and was subsequently performed by Nashville-based band Old Dominion. Jeep, never one to miss an opportunity for a creative ad, has teamed up with actor, singer-songwriter and musician Jeremy Renner. This isn’t Renner’s first commercial with a Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) brand as he was featured in a Ram Trucks commercial that aired during this year’s (2019) Superbowl. The new Jeep television campaign consists of three different spots that feature new music tracks from the artist.
