Jeep made waves a few years ago when the brand announced that it would be reviving its Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer nameplates in upcoming three-row SUV models. The original Wagoneer, something more akin to a station wagon than an SUV, ceased production in 1991 after 29 years on the market. According to the late-CEO Sergio Marchionne, the Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer will fill a gap in Jeep’s lineup that’ll directly compete with the likes of the Cadillac Escalade and Lincoln Navigator.
