The Jeep Grand Wagoneer Debut is Only Days Away

Jeep has spent the last few weeks teasing the hotly-anticipated Jeep Grand Wagoneer model. The brand brought its teasing to an end when it revealed a simple message across its social media channels: “Coming Sept. 3.” Now we know when Jeep plans to reveal the long-awaited three-row SUV behind the curtains. In recent videos posted on the brand’s Twitter feed, the brand referred to the upcoming SUV as “the shape of premium.” The video, of course, doesn’t reveal much, but viewers do get a glimpse of the Grand Wagoneer’s silhouette with a backlit skyline as the shot quickly pans out. The upcoming Jeep Grand Wagoneer is destined to be Jeep’s first full-size SUV offering after many decades without any presence in the segment.  Read the rest of this entry >>

The Current-Generation Grand Cherokee Takes One Last Bow

Although rumors strongly suggested the debut of the next-generation Jeep Grand Cherokee would happen sometime this year (2020), it appears that the ongoing pandemic threw a wrench in those plans. The current-generation Grand Cherokee is destined to soldier on for another model year as Jeep puts the finishing touches on its successor. Mopar Insiders reports that Jeep is planning a gracious send-off for the SUV with a one-of-a-kind 80th Anniversary Edition trim. If this is true, it would be on par with a previous trend Jeep established back in 2016 to celebrate the brand’s 75th anniversary with the Grand Cherokee 75th Anniversary Edition trim.  Read the rest of this entry >>
