#JeepTopCanine Competition is Jeep’s Latest Social Media Strategy

Jeep is launching something new — its first #JeepTopCanine competition this summer (2020), in the lead up to National Dog Day on August 26. Plenty of enthisiasts  are known for taking their dogs on the road with them as they seek out adventure. This is yet another opportunity for the brand to harness even more good faith with its enthusiasts. Jeepers have been posting photos of their canine buddies next to their Jeep vehicles on social media over the years, and now Jeep is intending to capitalize on the trend. The #JeepTopCanine contest asks that Jeep owners, fans, and followers post the best photo of their four-legged companion with any Jeep brand vehicle on social media while using the hashtag. Jeep Introduces the Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 392 Concept

Jeep is renowned for offering one of the most recognizable vehicles on earth — the Jeep Wrangler. The last time Jeep offered the Wrangler model powered by a V8 engine was in 1981. Back then, it was a 5.0-liter V8 under the hood of the Jeep CJ, with 125 horsepower and 220 lb-ft of torque. Jeep enthusiasts have been gunning for a V*-powered Wrangler in recent years, especially since the current-generation Jeep Wrangler has been so celebrated since it launched. Jeep Expands Badge of Honor Program, Adds Many New Features

The Jeep brand announced it is expanding the Badge of Honor program via its mobile app, adding several new challengers for Jeep enthusiasts that are devoted to conquering numerous off-road trails. Created in 2013, the Badge of Honor program allows enthusiasts to earn digital badges as they conquer new trails. Trails allow enthusiasts to earn exclusive badges directly from Jeep, all while putting their iconic vehicles to the test. The expansion of the program adds seven new trails for enthusiasts to conquer, including Northwest OHV Park in Texas, Bearwallow in West Virginia, and in our very own state — Tread Lightly! Four Wheel Drive Wat in Florida! Overall, the brand’s Badge of Honor program offers a total of 56 trails, including some of the most renowned ones such as Hell’s Revenge in Moab, Utah, the Rubicon Trail in California, and Imogene Pass in Colorado.  Read the rest of this entry >>
