2017 Chevy Cruze is available in Miami

Chevy is dedicated to the safety and happiness of their customers. That is why the new 2017 Chevy Cruze is not only safe and affordable but also loaded with great new features. The technology in the Chevy Cruze goes about and beyond what anyone could have ever expected.

Another key new factor of the 2017 Chevy Cruze is that is available in an all-new hatchback option, in addition to a sedan. Some buyers might prefer the hatchback as it offers increased passenger and cargo space.

Engine and Trims

The 2017 Chevy Cruze  is available in four trims, the L, LS, LT and Premier. Each of the trims (apart from Premier) are available with an automatic or manual transmission, but the Premier trim is only available with an automatic transmission.

All Cruze trims come with a 1.4-liter 4-cylinder engine that gets 153-horsepower and an astonishing 30 mpg in the city and 40 mpg on the highway!

Interior and Exterior Styling

The styling of both the hatchback and sedan models is sleek, smooth, and attractive inside and out. Exterior features like solar absorbing glass windows and windshield, automatic on/off projector headlights, 15-inch steel wheels with bolt covers and all-season tires. In case of a flat, the Cruze also comes standard with tire sealant and inflator kit.

Interior features like a four-speaker audio system, cloth trims seats, 6-way adjustable front seats, and front bucket seats all come standard. There are also several extra options to upgrade the Cruze’s interior. All-weather floor mats, leather seating, a cargo net, and illuminated door sills are just some of the many options and features that can be added on to a purchase or are included on different trims.

Entertainment

In today’s world, there is no debate about the importance of technology on a new car to almost any driver. Chevy incorporates many technology features on both the car’s entertainment and safety systems.

Entertainment technology such as four-speaker audio system previously mentioned, and the MyLink system with both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto come standard on the Chevy Cruze.  The 2017 Cruze is equipped with a rear-vision camera, Chevrolet MyLink and a 7-inch diagonal color touch-screen so your music and select apps are always within reach.

Available options include a six-speaker or 9-speaker Bose audio system, and SiriusXM radio (higher trim levels). Plus, 4G LTE Wi-Fi is an available option for buyers that love staying connected.

Safety

All new Chevy vehicles including the Chevy Cruze are loaded with safety features to prevent accidents, and help the driver and passengers in the unforeseen and unfortunate event that there is an accident. The 2017 Cruze comes standard with the OnStar basic plan for five years, Teen Driver, 10 airbags, and daytime running lamps.

Teen driver technology serves the safety of new drivers and the ease of mind for their parents. The system works by adding a parental pin to the MyLink system, that way only the parent can access the information. Teen Driver also has features to keep the teen as safe as possible, like muting the audio until the teen is buckled in, audible and visual signals to let the teen know when they are going above pre-set speeds and blind zone alert. When the teen is driving, these systems can not be turned off and they record data that parents can access to see how their teen has driven and what safety rules (if any) have been ignored.

Buyers also have the option to add a few preventive safety tech systems on to their Cruze. These systems include lane keep assist, forward collision alert, and a blind zone alert.

Price and Warranties

MSRP for the base model Cruze is $16,975. Price goes up depending on options, and trim level. The standard warranties on the 2017 Chevy Cruze include a three year or 36,000 miles basic warranty, and a five year or 50,000 mile powertrain warranty.
