What's new in the 2016 model? There are a lot of new features on the 2016 Kia Soul. The biggest edition to the Kia Soul is the newest package called the Premium package, and it includes collision and lane-departure warning systems, which are both totally new safety features available on the Soul. Other new features include a more attractive cabin with user-friendly controls and increased passenger room.

The Kia Soul is available in three different trims and Kia got very creative when naming each of them -- there’s the Base, + (plus) and !(Exclaim). Additionally, the Kia Soul has two available engine options, a 1.7-liter engine and a 2.0-liter engine. Horsepower ranges from 130 to 164 depending on the engine and transmission configuration.
The 2016 Kia Soul’s interior has a whole new feel compared to previous model years. Kia wanted to design an open and spacious vehicle that is comfortable for both the driver and passengers. Other available exterior features on other Soul trims are mirror mounted turn signals, a panoramic sunroof, LED tail lights, bright fog lights and two-toned 18-inch wheels.

The price for the Soul starts at $15,900 and goes up to $21,300 for the Exclaim model.
