2016 Dodge Dart - Miami, FL
The entry-level sedan segment is easily one of the most competitive in the automotive industry. As a car buyer, you might even be overwhelmed by the number of different vehicles available. But if you're looking for a small car, there are a few standouts. One of those is the 2016 Dodge Dart.
While only introduced in 2013, it's quickly become known for its endless list of options, unique styling, and fuel efficiency. If you want an affordable car that looks good, saves at the pump, and stands out from the crowd, then you've got to check out the new Dodge Dart in Miami.
Bringing Fun Back to the Small Car
Most brands have lost their way with small sedans. It's not that all of the cars are terrible; it's just that all of the focus seems to be on keeping costs down instead of creating truly appealing cars.
That's what the 2016 Dodge Dart wants to change for small car buyers here in Miami. It really wants to make you have fun in your small car. Here are just a few of the ways it's accomplishing that for current owners:
2.0-Liter Inline-4 (SE) - The base engine for most small cars tends to be unimpressive, but that's definitely not the case with the 2016 Dart. It's able to produce 160 hp and 148 lb-ft. of torque, making it one of the most powerful base model sedans available. In order to get comparable power from the Ford Focus, for instance, you have to upgrade from the base engine. And that still doesn't outdo the Dart's base engine.
1.4-Liter Turbocharged Inline-4 (Aero) - If you want an enhanced driving experience, the Aero trim level is available with this 1.4-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder that produces 160 hp and 184 lb-ft of torque. No change in horsepower, but the increased torque gives it the power to accelerate quicker and the turbocharger allows for more overall efficiency compared to the base model.
2.4-Liter Inline-4 (SXT, GT, Limited) - For the best of both power and acceleration, upgrading to the 2.4-liter 4-cylinder found in the SXT, Limited, and GT trim levels is a no-brainer. With 184 horsepower and 171 lb-ft. of torque, it's the most affordable fast small car on the market (outside of pure performance vehicles).
Available Dual Exhaust
One of the best features of the 2016 Dodge Dart is something no other vehicle in the small sedan segment currently offers: a dual exhaust system. It may be one feature that many buyers look over, but for those that want to add significantly to the car's sporty look, sound, and feel, this is the perfect option.
Blacktop Appearance Package
If the standard Dart looks aren't enough to satisfy your tastes, one of the best packages available is the Blacktop Appearance Package. This offers buyers a blacked-out look, including 18-inch gloss black aluminum wheels, a black crosshair grille, black mirrors, and a Sport Appearance hood with a scoop and vent for an enhanced sports car-like appearance.
The Most Unique Car in its Class
From the exterior to the interior, the 2016 Dart is the most unique-looking car in the small car segment. With so many options available, buyers can pick and choose between features to build a car unlike any other on the road, and they don't have to break the bank to do it.
If you want to know what you can get if you choose to buy a new Dodge Dart in Miami, here's a sneak peek:
There's simply no denying how good the Dart looks compared to other economy cars, such as the Honda Civic or Toyota Corolla. With its performance background, Dodge was able to create a car that not outperforms the competition on style and on paper.
The 2016 Dart is a combination of sleek and modern design, as well as the aggressive and sporty design that Dodge is making its signature look. At the same time, however, the Dart isn't trying to look modern for the sake of looking modern.
Five Exciting Trim Levels
Dodge has done a great job of offering something for all types of buyers with the 2016 Dodge Dart. Whether you're looking for a simple, affordable entry-level vehicle or an entry-level car that offers plenty of options without breaking the bank, the Dart does a great job of letting buyers personalize their vehicle.
The SE trim is the base model, so don't expect many bells and whistles from it. You will find an extremely low price, as it starts at just $16,995, but you'll need to upgrade to a higher level trim to unlock better standard features and available options.
Moving up to the SXT trim allows you to upgrade to options, such as the Uconnect 8.4 system with navigation, and SiriusXM satellite radio. Standard upgrades include the 2.4-liter MultiAir engine, Bluetooth compatibility, and 16-inch aluminum wheel.
With the Aero trim level, the Dart really starts to look more like a premium car instead of an entry-level sedan. It includes a standard underbody treatment that enhances aerodynamics, which helps improve both speed and handling. In addition, a ParkView Rear Back-Up camera is added standard to provide better visibility and safety when the car is in reverse. One of our favorite features of the Dart Aero is the 7-inch digital gauge cluster, which allows buyers to customize their dash to include information that will improve their driving experience.
For just $1,000 more than the Aero trim, the GT trim really brings the Dart to life--both in looks and performance. It includes a blacked-out grille, 18-inch wheels, a hood scoop, and a host of interior options that make the upgrade a no-brainer. You'll find a leather-wrapped steering wheel, heated leather seats, as well as everything mentioned on the previous trims.
Finally, Limited is the top-of-the-line, luxury-esque trim level that offers almost every single option available on the Dart as a standard feature. You'll find the Uconnect 8.4 system upgraded to include GPS navigation standard on the Limited, which is an added option on every other trim available. And despite the price starting at under $25,000, Dodge was able to include a standard Power Express sunroof.
9 Exterior Color Options and Wheels Available
Most entry-level sedans come with the same, played-out color schemes that you'll find on every other car on the market. But Dodge doesn't want the 2016 Dart to just be another car; it wants it to truly stand out from the crowd.
This is why the brand included 9 different color options for the Dart, many of which are completely unique in the small car segment. Here at Miami Lakes Automall, our absolute favorite is "Go Mango," the orange options. There are plenty of fans of the bright "TorRed" option, but Go Mango does a great job of standing out and looks great on a beautiful Miami day.
