Dodge has focused their efforts towards producing high caliber quality products that can stand the test of time. Just check out what kind of classics Dodge created from the inception of the Challenger muscle car. For the upcoming 2022 model year, we expect some surprises along the way. 2020 introduced the first-ever SRT Super Stock muscle car and Dodge might possibly look to improve on that creation this year. We do know, Dodge has set in motion ways to improve the brand and sales will reflect these changes, but the rise of sales within the Dodge brand is remarkable. Allow us to cover the strides Dodge has seen after one-quarter of the way through 2021.

2021 Marks New Imprint of Dodge Brand

Dodge earned an impressive 5 percent increase in the first quarter of 2021. In the United States, a total of 469,651 vehicles were moved which is over 22,000 more vehicles over this period in 2020. Overall, the growth of the Dodge Durango jumped up 61% and we’ve seen some sales of Dodge vehicles that are quite rare. Among the remaining Dodge products were four new, original 2017 Dodge Viper cars. Dodge has moved just nine in the past two years, but that’s not too shabby for a vehicle that was last in production several years ago. The Stellantis report that covers the Dodge brand’s total sales after the first quarter (three months) of 2021, we noticed the Dodge Dart also had some sales. The Dodge Dart was last produced for the 2016 model year and is a rare sedan sale in 2021.

Improving the Dodge Brand

Dodge is already going full-fledged towards offering more for customers than just about any year. We’ve seen a new security focus to help curb any threat of carjackers taking a Dodge muscle car from its owner. The Dodge Charger Daytona will return with a limited 2020 production run to celebrate its 50th Anniversary. Since the birth of the Dodge Charger Daytona in 1969, this has been one of the flagship packages of the more modern Dodge Charger vehicles. The vehicle had a long hiatus that stretched 27 years till in 2006. The return of the popular HEMI engine helped sales for a five-year run until 2009. The past few years have seen the return of the Dodge Charger Daytona, starting again each year since 2017. The 2020 Dodge Charger Daytona is way more than an appearance package, however. There will only be 501 of these Special Edition Charger models made. Want to know what to expect in this latest special-edition Dodge Charger?

More Horsepower Than Any Daytona Ever

The powertrain will be none other than the remarkable supercharged 6.2-Liter HEMI V8 that supplies 717 horsepower and an intense 650 lb-ft of torque. This is more horsepower than ever offered in any Dodge Charger Daytona. Drivers will have the premier braking power with black Brembo six-piston front and four-piston rear brakes. The Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat Widebody will be transformed with the pattened Daytona rear-quarter decals, matching lip spoiler and hood. This is one unique and sweet looking muscle car that will allow the 50th Anniversary Edition to stand out from the crowd.

Interior Choices Galore

Are there more options for Charger Daytona owners? Of course! There are four body color options including B5 Blue, Triple Nickel, White Knuckle, and Pitch Black. The Triple Nickel and B5 Blue are unique to the Charger. The Daytona decals will be white on the Pitch Black, B5 Blue, and Triple Nickel. The blue is the lone choice for the White Knuckle option. A sleek looking muscle car looking as hot as summer, owners also get the enhanced performance of Street Racing Technology (SRT) complete with 20×11-inch wheels that are finished with satin carbon. Feeling the need for speed in a new 2020 Dodge Charger? Opting for the Charger Daytona is a truly special choice.

Enjoy More Classy Daytona Styling

More goodies inside include the Daytona named that is sewen into the black Nappa leather seating. Alcantara suede performance seatbacks with blue accent stitching are noticeable on the armrests, dashboard and apart of the shifter. The debut of the 2020 Dodge Charger Daytona will appear on Saturday, August 17th, 2019 at Woodward Dream Cruise in Pontiac Michigan. ‘17 Dodge Vehicles Receive 5-Star Overall Safety Rating

Miami Lakes Dodge Vehicles NHTSA

Safety is one of the most important features in a car. Even with the most fuel-efficient engine, or the coolest, smartest technology, without safety, an automobile is a potentially dangerous transportation method. That’s why auto manufacturers strive to not only put lots of fancy and alluring features in their vehicles, but they’re constantly looking for ways to improve safety. An auto brand that’s amping up its safety this year is Dodge.

When it comes to measuring a vehicle’s safety, there are two main organizations that the public trusts – the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) and National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). Both organizations deliver safety ratings and sometimes full reports on the safety features of an automobile.

Exciting news from the creative, cutting-edge crew at Fiat-Chrysler!

Word on the street, or at least from the recent automotive dealer’s meeting in Las Vegas, is that the upcoming Dodge Charger will have throwback looks and a very special shared platform.

Given how little we know right now, the release date feels far away, but we’re excited to see the new Dodge Charger, built on an Alfa Romeo platform, at our Miami Dodge dealership sometime in the future.

That’s right…this new platform will give the new Dodge Charger some alpha-dog edge.
