Remarkable 1,300 Horsepower Dodge Charger

The Dodge brand has been in the news making waves and all sorts of noise to a positive response with its EV muscle car set to debut in less than two years. We can be assured the Dodge brand is set to offer a slew of outstanding vehicles that are electrified and awesome, but for now, the latest news is focused on what we have today like the 1,000 horsepower engine found in a modified 1970 Dodge Charger or the 1,400 horsepower Dodge SRT Demon made a few years back. We’ve shown off some of the most impressive tuneups that Dodge owners have done to modify and upgrade the stock versions of their Dodge muscle cars. A recent example has come out with Westen Champlin’s new creation where the uniquely modified Dodge Charger has been revealed on their YouTube channel. Built out of passion and using premium Mopar parts to improve the already powerful Dodge muscle sedan, the YouTuber has crafted quite the outlandish Dodge muscle car build. Westen chose to coax a Dodge Charger Hellcat with nearly double the force Dodge supplies customers with, that’s what took this car to an upper echelon.

Dodge Charger Now and Then

Today, the seventh-generation Dodge Charger has been around since 2011 and will be phased out when the newest generation arrives sometime after next year. There was a refresh back in 2015, the same model year as the one this team changed up. Nowadays, the 2022 Dodge Charger starts from $33,000 MSRP (Plus destination fee) with a V6 engine, from $40,000 MSRP customers can acquire the 5.7-Liter V8 R/T version but at $75,000 MSRP the Hellcat sedan is available. Dubbed the HellJet, this outlandish invention supports a uniquely styled khaki green matt paint, a HellJet logo, labeled 777 on the sides, and jet-fighter teeth behind the front wheels. Those wheels are located in black, but the standout feature would have to be the bullhorns up front, though that’s still not all.

Perks of Something Special and Fierce

Westen does a burnout inside an active garage with exotic cars and has the goods revealed under the hood to reveal a tremendous new powertrain. The HellJet harbors the most recent supercharged 6.2-Liter Hellcat V8 that has also been twin-turbocharged with a Hellion turbo kit for a total of 1300 total horsepower, roughly 583 more horsepower than granted on the standard Dodge Charger Hellcat. They also moved a retired Dodge police vehicle, pushed up the engine output from 370 horsepower from the mid-tier 5.7-Liter V8 engine to a brand new Hellcat engine that delivers 707 horsepower and 650 lb-ft of torque. The entire build was all done from scratch, each part by part and crafted with time and some love. Owning a vehicle comes with the freedom to drive and enjoy the experience, but don’t put up with nagging noises, on-going engine troubles, or neglecting to tune up and prepare a vehicle for safer travel. We do more than just oil and tire changes at Miami Lakes Automall!

Dodge has put together a pleasant surprise with its marketing effort known as Operation 25//8. The promotion included a team of 25 ambassadors across multiple platforms from automotive, to entertainment in music and fashion, to the world of sports in an effort to each give away a new Dodge SRT vehicle. This all took place over the final two months of 2021. Customers today know how much faster the Dodge Challenger has become as of late. The Dodge brand has surged ahead of rivals to finish in first place among all muscle car sales last year.

The Dodge Hellcat spec or more elevated for these Chargers, Challengers, and even the Dodge Durango SUV. Amazon was one business that gave away a Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat. This respective winner is the lone one that hasn’t been revealed yet. As for the other 25 winners, they were all revealed with their first name and the first letter of their surname only. This is not to be confused with the “24 Months of Muscle” Dodge campaign. We are happy to announce the names of the lucky winners for this Dodge experience.

These People Earned the Fastest Dodge Products

The winners of the Dodge SRT giveaway includes; Lorenzo P from (Nashville, TN), Blake J (Olive Branch, MS), Jamarion T (Hillside, IL), Joshua G (San Antonio, TX), Katie J (Anoka, MN), Patrick N (Pittsburgh, PA), James S (Morgantown, IN), Regan C (Tacoma, WA), Stefon G (San Diego, CA), Lizbeth M (Spokane, WA), Kaylynn P (Roseville, MI), Kjetil S (Talkeetna, AK), Isaac S (Staten Island, NY), Christopher D (Strongsville, OH), Jenn C (Wentzville, MO), Doug P (Granite City, IL), Jeremiah K (San Antonio, TX), Jeremy H (Cuero, TX), Laith K (Bentonville, AR), Raimundo L (Richmond, TX), MaKayla D (Carlisle, KY), Nate C (Austin, MN), Becky D (Tallahassee, FL), Isaiah C (Travelers Rest, SC). They are all positive about their new ride, no doubt!

Intriguing to note, Dodge is still exploring for a Chief Donut Maker. Yes, that’s a real title. They are going to choose the hire sometime after February 28, 2022. That winner will become a part-time brand ambassador for the carmaker, a side gig that will supply them $150,000 to showcase all the pleasure of the Dodge SRT Hellcat trim experience.

What Was the Dodge Polara Muscle Car?

Friday, December 17th, 2021

Dodge is expanding to new EV efforts, so many customers are speculating if they will still pack the same power the brand has offered for decades. The long-time fans of the brand might be shocked to see an electric Dodge muscle car. Those who remember the 1960s will know the Dodge golden era of muscle. The 1960 Dodge Polara was the first-ever muscle car made by the Dodge brand in the 1960s and wound up being the most successful Dodge nameplate with success lasting the entire decade. The stretch from 1960 through 1970 when the Dodge Challenger overtook the Dodge brand as its top-flight Dodge vehicle. The Dodge brand has seen their muscle car sales grow to figures that are comparable to pre-Covid-19 numbers.

A History of the Dodge Polara

The Dodge Polara saw its first-generation range from 1960 to 1961 and after two years, the second-generation was presented as the figures from 1961 declined 50% from the year before. The 1962 Dodge Polara was the start of a smaller muscle car that saw its wheelbase shortened to 116 inches. The Dodge Polara would offer its third-generation from 1965 and 1968 with the muscle car going into a full-size C platform build. The Polara replaced the Dodge 880 and was the top vehicle for the brand. The Dodge Polara ended with its fourth-generation that came out in 1969 and served for five years. The 1973 Polara was the last one made as the Dodge brand formed the Monaco to supersede the vehicle in 1974. The Dodge Polara was vended as a Classic car for $18,113 on October 14th, 2020 at an auction in Toronto, Canada to give buyers a notion of the tremendous resale significance affixed to all Dodge vehicles.

Dodge Muscle Cars Are Changing For the Better

Dodge has seen their muscle cars of today expand to wild horsepower numbers, as much as 800 horsepower with modern help ramping up the final product. Dodge has put a lot of stock into making their vehicles maximize their prospects by withdrawing certain trims or vehicles to get the most out of the brand. One vehicle that might alter is the Durango that could pivot into a new vehicle. Look at the modifications coming, but know the awards the brand has garnered has pointed to the right direction with distinctions being named for the brand quite often.

Five Final Dodge Viper Models Before It’s No More

Tuesday, July 12th, 2016
2015 Dodge Viper

2015 Dodge Viper

***The five editions have already sold out. A sixth edition will be added mid-July, but only 30 units worth**

Attention all Dodge Viper fans, attention! Production on the beloved Dodge Viper is coming to an end. In late June, Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) announced that the 2017 Dodge Viper model will be the last Viper model year. In 2017, the Viper will have been manufactured for 25 years, and in its final goodbye, five special-edition models will help wave it off.

The Viper supercar is notorious for having an on-again off-again relationship with Dodge, having been once times before, but this is expected to be the final goodbye.

Since the Viper’s initial debut in 1991, over 30,000 Vipers have been built and sold, but in recent years, sales have slowed down and whether continuation of the Viper model was a viable option for production became the topic of discussion within the FCA. In 2015, a contract between FCA and the United Automobile Workers (UAW) was drawn up for future production plans, detailing vehicle production and upgrades. The Dodge Viper was left out of such plans.

Over the years, the Viper has gone through many changes. The first generation of Viper cars lasted a decade. In 2002, it underwent a major design change to better improve its handling, and was initially a convertible, with the 2006 Viper SRT-10 coupe introduced in 2005 at the Detroit Auto Show. As mentioned, this isn’t the first discontinuation, because back in 2009, it was announced that Viper production would end in the following summer. It returned in 2013, but as of September 2015 only 500 Vipers were sold, 200 less than the previous year.

Currently in production are five special-edition Vipers that will pay tribute to past renditions of the Viper over the last 25 years. Check ‘em out.
