Dodge Announces Last Call “Swinger” Muscle Packages

Dodge reported they will add a new Charger and Challenger limited-edition cars with the “Swinger” nameplate. Largely like the new limited-time Shakedown and Super Bee Limited Editions revealed recently, the Swingers will be Scat Pack versions of the cars with special-edition perks and options. Dodge is showcasing the seven “Last Call” special editions that will be released ahead of its EV muscle car in 2024. We have also learned about the all-new Dodge Hornet plug-in hybrid that will be a hot item once production begins.

New Special Edition Dodge Muscle Cars Keep Comin’!

We’re excited to witness yet another new special edition; the 2023 Swinger Challenger and Swinger Charger are the third and fourth special editions announced so far in 2022. This news is arriving off the recently disclosed Challenger Shakedown and Charger Super Bee special editions. The Swinger name was taken from the famed 1969 Dodge Dart. Both Swinger options are set to be sold in both the Widebody variant and with Dodge’s Scat Pack. Owners gain a 485-horsepower 6.4-Liter V8 powertrain. Dodge is making these special editions exclusively limited to only 2,000 of these vehicles; 1,000 per muscle nameplate and this is the amount expected for each special edition. These are unique rides that are expected to gain a lot of attention before Dodge moves into its EV movement starting next year.

Inside the Special Edition Packages

These new special editions come with these unique appearance packages that serve as a modern design based on the 1970s-era creation. They will arrive finished with badges, lush interior design including green-on-green exterior colors with gold accents and green stitching on the chairs, dash, center console, and steering wheel. Exterior paint options are F8 Green, Sublime Green, or White Knuckle, and a special “Gold School” badging will feature on the exterior to pair with a retro graphic on the rear fender. The Challenger Swinger will arrive with its sleek gold-painted Shaker intake hood and top-tier perks uncovered in the new 2023 Charger and Challenger muscle car alternatives.

Drive the Last Call Vehicles While They Are Here

For those expecting to see the whole set of the Dodge brand’s Last Call special editions, the next two special editions are coming on September 14th and 21st, 2022. The last and final “Last Call” edition will be shown during the 2022 SEMA show in November, Stellantis added in a statement to the press. Dodge has not announced any outlet on the prices on any of the special editions as it stands today, but the company reported the pricing would be released via dealership allotment particulars along with when orders should be ready for the Scat Pack Swingers and the rest of the Last Call muscle cars. The new electric muscle car will be made as a production vehicle. We’re game for all the newest Dodge muscle cars!

Dodge Goes Banshee With Newest Effort

Brushed aluminum fender badges announce the new pinnacle of performance in the Brotherhood of Muscle: Banshee. The 800V Banshee propulsion system powers the Dodge Charger Daytona SRT Concept car and screams performance.

Dodge will establish a brand new class of muscle this week as seven special editions of the Charger and Challenger will be showcased. The latest report also includes a unique Dodge Coronet “Super Bee” vehicle is one of the vehicles expected to be announced. Dodge placed this vehicle under a special tarp that included a plethora of honeycombs on as a design. We can easily surmise from this the Super Bee nameplate. The most recent news on the Dodge brand also includes the release of a new Challenger muscle car. Stepping into the all-new Dodge Banshee BEV, possibly set to come in due time, as the vehicle is a concept for now, providing a look into the glass ball of Stellantis and Dodge for what’s coming next. We’ve had our focus on the reports about what Dodge will do for months, but now we know more so than we thought.

We Can’t Stop Smiling Looking At the Banshee

We’re siked to see this brand new special edition 2023 Dodge Challenge pay tribute to the amazing 1971 Dodge Shakedown Challenger concept that was first shown off during the 2016 SEMA exhibition. The Challenger Shakedown is anticipated to be dealt with 20 by 9.5-inch low gloss black Slingshot wheels. There will be a remarkable widebody to come for this and we’re sure absolutely of a few others for the 2023 model year. The particulars of every vehicle are going to be displayed in more depth in the forthcoming weeks ahead, but we do know the widebody versions will include 20 by 11-inch carbon black Warp Speed wheels. Regardless if they go widebody or not, an owner will gain red six-piston Brembo brake calipers. These are the top-of-the-line breaks found in all the greatest sports and muscle cars. The 2023 Dodge Challenger will be made and might carry the new Hurricane powertrain.

More Details On the Interior

Lush features are found throughout the cabin and the entire interior, including a red and black theme throughout with racing stripes down the middle. The seating includes a lush combo of Alcantara with black Nappa leather. The stitching is found across the entire console, seatbelts, the seats, and the steering wheel with Demonic Red coloring stitch in. We are also still proclaiming many good things about the all-new 2023 Dodge Hornet mid-size SUV that will commence at a unpretentious cost.

“Dodge Speed Week may be over, but our brand is far from finished in shaking up the muscle car world. We’re following up Speed Week reveals of the future of electrified muscle in the Dodge Charger Daytona SRT Concept and our first electrified vehicle in the 2023 Dodge Hornet R/T by announcing six special, commemorative-edition models in a little over a month,” remarked Tim Kuniskis, Dodge brand chief executive officer – Stellantis.

2023 Hornet Miami Lakes Automall

All-New Dodge Hornet To Start Under $30K?

2023 Hornet Miami Lakes Automall

The Dodge Hornet nameplate first reached the public display at the 2006 Geneva Motor Show as a thoughtful and forward-thinking concept for a crossover. With a boxy design that was all the rage among buyers at the time, a future production version was never produced, until late last year in 2021. Today, new spy photographs reveal a new glimpse of one under development on the road in Detroit. The Hornet we see entering production looks nothing like the original concept from 2006. But, interesting to note how some parallels are noted to its Alfa Romeo Tonale Stellantis sibling. Allow us to breakdown what we have learned in recent months about the forthcoming Dodge Hornet crossover SUV product set to debut in less than a year. This summer might be ending, but before summer closes we’ll learn about an all-new Dodge collection nearing debut.

A Hornet Buzzes This Way

Dodge has placed a strong emphasis on producing a new ride on the preferred platform. Concerning the forthcoming Dodge Hornet, a similar fascia with inlets at each corner with a space in the center resembling a trapezoidal figure is expected. There’s a slim grille in the center of the vehicle’s front and a larger opening above it. The headlights are narrow and have tapered edges. Complete with its arching roofline and curved window on the rear hatchback that supports the Hornet crossover from looking too square. The descending part of the window on the rear door has an upward projection. The wheels on this vehicle appear to be the same ones that the Tonale sports. The spy images also reveal the Hornet carries a gorgeous spoiler on the roof, and a place for outlines on the sides of the window. On each side, there rest three rectangular tail lights.

Growing Powertrain Possibilities?

Regarding the Hornet’s engine options for the Hornet are allegedly the exact ones as what the Tonale delivers. In the United States, this is the trusted 1.3-Liter turbocharged four-cylinder with an electric motor powering the rear axle for a complete system output of 272 horsepower. A 15.5-kilowatt-hour battery pack provides more than 30 miles of a driving range. Should the Hornet also have the Tonale’s full motor lineup, then the Hornet will arrive with a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder powertrain that supports 256 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque. In Europe, the Alfa has two 1.5-liter mild-hybrid powertrains and a diesel option.

Another relation between the Hornet and the Tonale will be their production site. Both will arrive from the Pomigliano d’Arco Assembly Plant in Italy. Dodge CEO Tim Kuniskis has authorized the small crossover to be assigned to arrive at some point later in 2022. Will this vehicle have some EV capabilities? We’ve covered this before, but learn even more after a visit to Miami Lakes Automall!

Ready To Witness the New Dodge EVs?

We are looking forward to the Dodge brand offering a sneak peek at the future of their brand with monumental launches on August 15th-17th, 2022. The first day, August 15th will be the reveal for a new creation that will be shown; a new era of EVs we’ve all been lingering for will be revealed! This day will mark the first live arrival of the next-generation Dodge muscle vehicle. The next day, on August 16th, the Dodge gateway muscle product is promised with the last day, August 17th, 2022, will show the result of years of planning. During the live debut that looks ahead to the future muscle products coming down the tube, there will be a short Q and A. This is a wonderful time to herald the inception of a full-fledged EV lineup that will cause the market to take note.

Reasons To Believe In the Hornet

A considerable share of belief has been made for the all-new Dodge Hornet plug-in hybrid (PHEV) SUV prospect that is bearing aspects from fellow Stellantis brand, the Alfa Romeo Tonale. The Tonale comes with PHEV components and rides with a 1.3-Liter four-cylinder motor that is connected to an electric engine with a connected rear axle measure to secure the engine. The Hornet was first and last shown back at the 2006 Geneva Motor Show. Back then, this Hornet was cast as a memorable concept for a new crossover. The 2006 Hornet was built with a box design that was widespread among customers back in the day. A future production version was never completed, until last year when we learned of the spy shots that indeed delivered what Dodge had been working on.

“There’s no better place to unveil a new performance direction for the Dodge brand than right on Woodward Avenue in metro Detroit, with tens of thousands of our closest fans and friends. We introduced our two-year Never Lift road map last year at Roadkill Nights, and this year the event will serve as the prelude to going wide open throttle on Never Lift. All I can say is the future of our brand will be on display during Dodge Speed Week, and we’re throwing open our garage doors so our fans can get a peek for themselves. It’s going to be an electric summer for Dodge,” stated Tim Kuniskis, Dodge brand Chief Executive Officer of Stellantis, the parent company of Dodge.

Production Nears For Dodge EVs

The Dodge Hornet nameplate first reached the masses all the way since the 2006 Geneva Motor Show as a unique concept for a crossover. With a box design that was favored among customers at the time, a future production version was never completed, until last year in 2021. Recently, new spy photographs display a new peek of one under development on the streets of Detroit. The Hornet that will go into production looks nothing like the initial concept from 2006. But, fascinating to note how some parallels are noted to the Alfa Romeo Tonale. We await the forthcoming Dodge Hornet crossover SUV product set to arrive by 2023, but we’re also ready to help customers find the right ride today.

The 2023 Dodge Hornet is still months from seeing a genuine reveal, but we’ll learn more as summer goes about what to anticipate and when this all-new Dodge Hornet entry will soar and leave us all stung.

Now More Than Ever Is the Time To Drive Dodge

Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat Redeye Widebody

The last time we told our readers to buy Dodge, we really meant that. As time has shown, this era of Dodge vehicles was second-to-none, but the remnants of that time from 2017-2020 still lingers a few years down the road with the current line of 2022 Dodge muscle options. Today, as we await the arrival of the Dodge muscle electric vehicle future due to debut at the end of summer, we know those final years of combustion gas powered Dodge muscle are running out. For those who really want to experience the remarkable power, pure adrenaline of heart racing speed and unmatched handling, speak to us about the process of driving a Dodge car today.

Hornet Nears Arrival

We know the future of Dodge involves the element of electric engineering, set to offer the promise of moving at high speeds without the decades of use given by traditional powertrains. We are ready to see them, but we don’t know them just yet. In fact, the name is not even known for what to expect for the first true muscle car of the 2020’s from Dodge. We have learned the Dodge Hornet nameplate is back, as an SUV of the electric variety. However, the Challenger and Charger nameplates have not been formally linked to a Dodge EV title anywhere. Will Dodge remain true to its past or offer a new line-up that differs from their longstanding heritage built over decades of production in both the Charger and Challenger models.

We’re Keeping SRT Alive

While some think the SRT (Street Racing Technology) found in the Hellcat and Hellcat Widebody will be altered or removed, we can say that is unlikely. As the brand grows, they are keen on keeping their massive fan base happy and appeased with greater perks and new technology, but not removing all aspects of what has made Dodge stand out. This could include even keeping some elements of traditional combustion being used but perhaps in a different way than ever used before. As the market stands today, we see the rival Ford Mustang is losing in total sales compared to the Dodge muscle that includes the Challenger and Charger.

Something Exciting Comes Your Way

Dodge Ramping Up Production For 909 Horsepower Muscle Car

Night Dodge Miami Lakes Automall

Is it too late for Dodge to build and offer a stunning new and remarkable Dodge muscle car with wild horsepower abilities? Nope! As we were correct on our reporting, Dodge is about to declare their official strategies to offer consumers the most horsepower they’ve ever been able to drive off with from a stock, production muscle car. The days of the 2018 Dodge Challenger SRT Dodge Demon and the follow-up with the 2019-2022 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat Redeye were excellent options, but we know the future of the brand involves promoting the electric vehicle mark with Dodge EV capabilities. So with all the perks that will come with these modern and currently new built vehicles, why would Dodge venture to deliver one last outlandish Dodge muscle car with the 909 horsepower? Well, to offer their loyal customers one last chance to enjoy the perks of V8 HEMI power thanks to its E85 gasoline required perks set to be offered for the 2023 Dodge Challenger.

Breaking Down the E85 Fuel

This use of E85 fuel is known as “flex fuel” as its a mixture of both ethanol and gasoline, alas with a higher concentration of ethanol than the typical gasoline offered with regular fuel. The Dodge muscle car lineup requires this kind of juice to move as its thermal efficiency and fuel consumption require a more powerful burst. There’s exactly 69 more horsepower offered than its SRT Demon relative made nearly five years ago.

When we imagine the future of Dodge vehicles, we await to see how powerful they evolve to be in this decade. We don’t have to linger any longer; this is the primetime most suitable for those who have held out. The threshold for street-legal vehicles offering this level of horsepower and torque was grown by Dodge and won’t get any more elevated from gasoline-powered muscle cars. This is due to combustion engines being removed for more fuel efficient rides. The way the gas pedal pushes down and the feeling of driving a gasoline-powered Dodge muscle car is striving to change for the first time soon as Dodge readies up for its EV takeoff. Now is the time to buy Dodge, and we’re proud to help make any and all Dodge dreams a reality at Miami Lakes Automall. Even if today is not the right time, pass by to see what we have to offer as more unexpected news for the Dodge brand is coming out next month.

More Thrilling Dodge Rides Will Be Revealed In August

The hype is growing for the Dodge fan base and worldwide community, as Dodge announced their intent to debut three new EVs during the Dodge Roadkill Nights event taking place in early August 2022. We look forward to ensuring a remarkable customer experience that will remain on the forefront of the mind when thinking about any vehicle we provide. On August 15th-17th, 2022, a brand new vehicle will be shown each day. This will be the first live appearance of the next-generation Dodge muscle car. Dodge will also show a gateway muscle product on the second day and end the event on August 17th, 2022 showing a new vehicle concept that aims to highlight the future muscle products coming down the pike.

Dodge Electric Cars Will Be Safe, Hold Strong Value

Amid a rapid change of the brand, Dodge will offer all-new envisions of their most popular vehicles beginning with a new take on the next generation Dodge muscle car. The path is being crossed from gasoline-powered vehicles to forward-thinking, energy-conservation vehicles is nearing completion. As we look ahead to the wave of electric vehicles joining our impending catalog, we look to the company of exciting muscle car options still creating turning heads and happy owners, but most importantly, safe vehicles that owners appreciate beyond measure. Dodge vehicle owners have fantastic mention of the quality of the experience driving and using their Dodge branded rides. Each year, this J.D. Power survey helps new car shoppers reflect on their experience with a vehicle over the course of the first few months of ownership (the first ninety days of ownership to be specific). This is when problems should least likely appear and buyers want to know what to expect; if any problems appear, what they liked most, and other important aspects of purchasing a vehicle. Based on the problems listed per 100 vehicles, the system includes ways to gauge gain information on serious mechanical issues to problems with the infotainment system. Dodge earned a big nod for their luxurious and tip-top interiors that hold their value well over time and gain praise for holding such a strong resale value.

Dodge is aiming to follow through on their goal of “tearing up the street, not the planet” with the upcoming EV options that will be prepared by 2024. We’ve noticed tease pictures of the first Dodge EV will be shown off far more at some juncture in the next year. As we come oh so close to 2023, we look at what to envision for the Dodge EV record. The first-ever fully electric muscle cars of the present day will look to set up a new generation of drivers with the latest technology found in modern Dodge muscle cars.

Better To Arrive With Dodge EVs

When the Dodge EVs arrive, they will likely contain the same high resale value in the years to come. Dodge will likely also deliver a gasoline, an EV, and a hybrid powertrain option among the next wave of new vehicles, but certainly, we are most delighted by the launch of the next-generation Challenger and Charger muscle cars. We can anticipate either a six-speed manual or an eight-speed automatic gearbox as well for the next generation Dodge muscle car. Both the Dodge Charger and Challenger today offer this tech, but might we even see a 10-speed option?

From the myriad of Dodge nameplates that have come and gone over the years, a famed nameplate is being brought back for the muscle car brand. Dodge is bringing some flavor and burst after sourcing for motivation for the 2023 Dodge line-up. A bit of speeding force has come into play as well for the designs that have been displayed and Stellantis, the parent company of Dodge, is moving to assemble EV technology for this latest entry of the unique Hornet. The brand will join in on some of the enjoyment as stories say the vehicle will be supplied on the ICE platform. The 2023 Dodge Hornet is anticipated to supersede the Durango in forthcoming years as a compact crossover that packs some serious speed into its capabilities. Dodge is still aimed to deliver the most heart-racing vehicles on the market.

The Only 1969 Dodge Charger F8 Green Ever Built Sold For $1.3 Million

This past week news broke about a $1.3 million sale of the famed 1969 Dodge Charger sold to a private individual. Few brands can create a vehicle that keeps customers purchasing the same vehicle over and over again; unless that vehicle is an aberration. One such vehicle is the 1969 Dodge Charger Daytona F8 Green and that vehicle just sold for a whopping $1.3 million. This was the most distinguished one of its kind to have a solid army green interior and exterior and bested the previous highest sale of any Dodge muscle car by $90,000 according to Mecum Auctions. Even now, over fifty years later, we have seen the memorable muscle car remain a hot item that is highly sought after. The framework of legendary building vehicles started years ago and persists to function as the Dodge legacy that shoppers welcome. After all, Dodge has won awards thanks to its stunning initial quality and owners treasuring their experience with their vehicle, especially early on and as we’ve seen this continues for decades onward. If buyers today love the engines and technology of been then, envision what drivers will pay for the current generation of vehicles before EVs take over the landscape of muscle and sporting cars and this will include the Dodge brand as we know all too well about.

Reshaping the Dodge Brand In 2022

The Dodge name has worked its way into the hearts of many. The truth remains, customers are totally happy with the Dodge Charger muscle car. There’s plenty of evidence to showcase this including the vehicles and their ability to perform. As far as a brand identity, Dodge has theirs. Regarding how this matters in the industry, Dodge brand CEO Tim Kuniskis recently spoke to Automotive News.

“There’s over 40 brands in the mainstream market. There’s over 300 nameplates. There’s massive overlap. So if you don’t have an identity … you’re just going to keep recycling the same people that are within the brand and like the brand, and you’re never, ever, ever going to grow, and you’re never going to be able to change the positioning of the brand,” – Dodge CEO Tim Kuniskis

Strike It Big With Dodge Muscle

Today, we deliver the Dodge Charger with an abundance of trims including the SRT (Street Racing Technology) collection; like the outstanding SRT Hellcat Redeye. The new Dodge muscle representation has worked its way into the hearts of so many. The truth remains, that customers are totally happy with the Dodge Charger muscle car. We’re looking forward to helping our customers experience the joy of driving away in a new Dodge vehicle. Avoid the hassle of dealing with a vehicle that doesn’t provide the exhilaration and fun that is delivered with a Dodge muscle car.

Dodge Improving Appeal For Die-Hard Muscle Fans

SRT Dodge Miami Lakes Automall

Dodge knows buyers want the speed and seductive power provided with its muscle cars. But, we ask if our readers know the coming changes to the Dodge brand. We have learned the Dodge Challenger will no longer carry a manual Challenger option; but that will be announced formally by the brand at some point. The true glimpse of what to expect is almost upon us for the 2024 Dodge muscle EV lineup, as production would begin in just over a year. The sizing of these vehicles should be around the same, as HotCars.com speculates the vehicle will be larger due to its power output and charging requirements. The eMuscle, as they refer to it as, is the popular topic both online and what we hear from buyers every day in 2022.

The word on the street for the Dodge muscle car should still offer around 400-650 horsepower and the top of the line SRT Hellcat trim is possibly change with the EV capabilities coming to the brand. We don’t have the exact numbers, but perhaps as little as $55,000 or $60,000 MSRP is the expectation for this. Dodge is rumored to have as many as “six all-electric vehicles currently in the styling studio in Auburn Hills, Michigan.” There is also news that “at least one, but probably several plug-in hybrids” are slated to be created. Whether this is concept vehicles or the turning of a new leaf for the Dodge brand, the report from The Detroit Bureau has Dodge making big changes. While this news is nothing new, we now have some more light shed on what is expected to change for the brand.

Where Does Dodge Go Next? Only Up From Here!

Dodge has seen growth over the last few years in sales that should top those lofty pre-pandemic numbers set in 2019. Dodge had started to bring the focus away from creating wildly strong horsepower vehicles like the 2021 Dodge Challenger SRT Super Stock. However, there was a promise to continue the SRT (Street Racing Technology) vehicles for the near future. While these are the most impressive vehicles for any owner to want, they aren’t meeting the goal of what the future holds for the Dodge brand and its EV intentions.Count on us to provide our readers with the new details that will make them embrace and crave these new vehicles coming from Dodge.
