3 Dodge Models Named America’s Most Loved

Miami Lakes Dodge Most Loved Vehicles

It’s the end of the year and many awards are being given to some of the best vehicles on the street. One of which is delivered by Strategic Vision, an organization that annually releases the Consumer Love Index (CLI), an index that measures how much owners love their new vehicle after 90 days of ownership. Recently, Dodge received this award for three of its vehicles and one vehicle received a special award from ALG, the industry benchmark for providing residual value.

Full-Size Car – Dodge Charger

The Dodge Charger appeared on the Strategic Vision’s list, and how could it not? Many people love their charger, it’s a muscle-car and a sedan all rolled into one. That means it has just as much performance as it has comfort and convenience. With four engine options, including the 707-hp supercharged 6.2-liter HEMI SRT Hellcat engine, it’s one of the fiercest vehicles on the road. Plus, it has a fuel economy of 31 highway mpg and a driving range of over 570 miles.

2016 Dodge Durango

Dodge Durango R/T is a Beast – Here’s Why

2016 Dodge DurangoR/T stands for “Road & Track” and is the badge given to performance vehicles. So what, we ask, is R/T doing on the Dodge Durango? It’s not a muscle car, it’s not a sedan. It may be a bit of a crossover, but primarily it’s an SUV. So what is up with slapping an R/T trim onto the lineup? Let’s find out.

Engine Power

Unlike the four other Durango models, the Durango R/T is powered by a powerful 5.7-liter V8 HEMI MDS VVT engine that is paired to an 8-speed automatic transmission. MDS and VVT are both designs integrated into engines today to improve the performance of the engine, thereby enhancing the performance of the vehicle.

The 5.7-liter engine delivers 360-hp and 390 lb-ft of torque, and helps the Durango R/T achieve its best-in-class maximum towing capacity of 7,400 pounds. The Durango R/T comes standard with 8-speed automatic transmission.

Miami Lakes Dodge Car Family

Dodge Family Cars and Specialties

Miami Lakes Dodge Car FamilyWhen on the road with family, there are a lot of things the modern driver takes into consideration. Will there be enough room for everyone and everything? Will I be able to keep the kids entertained on long drives? Is my car safe enough if an accident were to occur? These are the questions that pass through our mind when we have precious cargo on board. To give families vehicles that will take care all of their needs,  Dodge has 3 vehicles that answer all of those questions with “Yes.”

Storage and Seating Space

Three family cars by Dodge have plenty of space. First off, the Dodge Grand Caravan, Dodge Journey (all trims but the Journey SE), and Dodge Durango all have a seating capacity of seven passengers. Moreover, each of these vehicles has a variety of ways to store cargo.

The Dodge Grand Caravan has the famous Stow ‘n Go seating. This design allows drivers to fold up not just the second, but also the third row into the floor of the van, opening up a total of 140 cubic feet of storage space. With a family unit average of 4-5 people, there’s enough room for everyone in the front and second row, and then space for cargo with the third row folded down.

In addition to the convenient easy fold-down seats, when the seats are not folded down, there is plenty of storage room in the bins that would store the seats. These bins offer plenty of out-of-the-way storage space for beach things, camping equipment or even a safety kit.

The 2016 Durango Gets a Brass Monkey Appearance Package

No, this isn’t a joke. The 2016 Dodge Durango is actually getting a Brass Monkey appearance package later this year. Dodge is advertising the Durango as the last strong and bold looking SUV on the market, whereas all the other ones have toned it down a bit. This Brass Monkey appearance package is one of many appearance packages that Dodge wants to use in order to help boost the unique look and boldness of the Durango; really driving home the fact this is the last strong looking SUV on the 2016 market. There are no photos of what the package will look like yet, but it definitely sounds like it’s going to make for a nifty looking Durango.
