Dodge Premieres Final “Last Call” Muscle Ride

Stellantis Miami Lakes Automall

The Dodge Charger is virtually through as we know it, with 2023 set to be its final model year and a slew of special editions beckoning the Charger and its Challenger brother out the door. The replacement for Dodge’s muscle cars will be electric, and Dodge has been busy prepping its V8–loving fanbase for a gas-free future with the Charger Daytona SRT concept that debuted back in August. Now Dodge is trotting its athletic concept again for the 2022 SEMA show with a few updates, popping off with power outputs from the wicked 400-volt electrical system. This is the final showcase for the “Last Call” muscle car rollout Dodge began earlier this summer.

Last Minute Change

While Dodge hasn’t clarified how many electric motors the Daytona Charger SRT holds, the automaker has now shown us a lineup of power levels for the concept. The lowest trim—called 340 for the power output in kilowatts—makes 455 horsepower, while the next step up, the 440, brings 590 ponies. However, both examples offer two horsepower upgrade options, called eStage 1 and 2, as over-the-air purchases from Dodge’s Direct Connection arm. The base trimcan be boosted to 495 or 535 horsepower, while the second tier can be pushed to 630 or 670 horsepower. Dodge also says that the most powerful model will be dubbed the SRT Banshee and will include an 800-volt electrical system, but the company is still quiet on the exact power output for this range topper. This ride will top even the all-new King Daytona Charger.

What This Looks Like On the Production End

Dodge also hasn’t said how these trims will decode to production, with the Daytona SRT still officially a concept, but given the tons of thought Dodge has already put into this ride, we wouldn’t be surprised if a similar lineup eventually reaches customers. The Banshee will also offer Direct Connection upgrades, and the upgraded trims will feature a “crystal” key (Dodge used quotes, so we presume it won’t be a genuine crystal).

The revised concept at SEMA is characterized by its Stryker Red paint color as well as “Stage 2” badges on the fenders and 18-inch carbon-fiber wheels wrapped in 305-mm drag radial tires. Dodge will also use the SEMA show to get feedback from attendees on the concept’s Fratzonic Chambered exhaust system, which Dodge says raises the hum of the electric motors up to a clamorous 126 decibels, although we envision this will be lowered down for the production car due to noise laws in some states. Dodge saw a 22% growth from this past third-quarter compared to the same time in 2021. The seventh and final “Last Call” edition will be displayed live during the 2022 SEMA show. How’s that for impressive?

Dodge Offers 14 Color Wrap Body Color For All Challenger Models

Dodge has decided to showcase its Challenger muscle car for the 2023 model year in a unique way. The 14 colors available for buyers today include a streak of choices that include B5 Blue, F8 Green, Frostbite, Go Mango, Octane Red, Destroyer Grey, Granite, Pitch Black, Plum Crazy, Sinamon Stick, Sublime, TorRed, Triple Nickel, and White Knuckle. We’re just as pleased with the color selection as we were to see Dodge go out of their way to highlight the whole color palette they have ready to offer buyers. But, there’s one perk drivers can opt for, the entire rainbow of colors, known as “the wrap” will be a special order for those who buy the choice at the Dodge Garage. The Dodge “wrap” will cover the entire Challenger and costs $3,700 before installation, required to be done by a professional 3M-Certified installer. The best part about this option is that the fit works for any Challenger made from 2008 through the newest 2022 models.

Everything Will Be New Soon

Keep in mind, this isn’t the only piece of good news Dodge has revealed in 2022. Earlier this year, the Dodge SRT lineup came back in full swing with the inclusion of the 2023 Dodge Durango SRT Hellcat. Gone after one model year, the Hellcat is back for the Durango as well as the Challenger and Charger rides. Our readers should know full well that the future will change the line-up in many ways starting next year. The 2023 model year is the last model year to include the solely combustion engine offerings as the electric Dodge muscle car is expected to begin with the 2024 model year class. The time is and has been running out for those who are still thinking Dodge is running the same ol’ business as usual campaign. Allow us to repeat, buyers chances of driving the current Dodge lineup is ending quite soon!

Update On Final “Last Call” Dodge Reveal

Find out what we can do to help get our readers into the newest Dodge muscle cars as soon as possible. The seventh and final “Last Call” edition will be displayed in time as the SEMA showcase next month will not be the location for this final reveal. Dodge has not announced any platform on the pricing on any of the special editions for now. We await for this sweet ride along with the EV muscle car set to debut in less than two years.

The perks of the Dodge Challenger have only piled up as we’ve showcased the impressive interior highlights, the lush appearance packages, and the heart-racing speeds provided. Buyers Chances of Driving the Current Lineup Is Ending

SRT Miami Lakes Automall

Dodge has accomplished their goal to ensure drivers get the most out of their vehicles, delivering top-notch speed equipped for street-legal vehicles, supplying game changing handling, and the most satisfying appearance of any muscle a car buyer could hope to drive. So, for new car shoppers or those ready to finally upgrade their existing ride for something way more compelling, we offer our current and award-winning 2022 model year line-up. For our readers and Dodge lovers, this remarkable catalog has made Dodge witness a 22% growth from this past third-quarter compared to the same time in 2021.

Improving the Dodge Line-up Comes Next

We’re hoping to inform as many car shoppers as possible that is the final time this generation and current collection will be vended. The whole lineup is transforming and we won’t know precisely all the fine particulars regarding the Dodge brand’s EV future until more information is shown. For now, let us offer our reasonable pricing for the current 2022 Dodge Charger, starting at $32,645 MSRP (Plus destination fee) and the 2022 Dodge Challenger that begins at a wickedly small cost of $30,940 MSRP (Plus destination fee). The 2023 model year Dodge vehicles are expected to reach dealerships like ours in the forthcoming weeks and in few cases a few months ahead. Expect to see the new 2023 Dodge Durango arrive with the SRT Hellcat trim for the first time after the SRT Hellcat was removed last model year.

The Dodge brand has created a new series known as the “Last Call” for buyers to get their supporters invigorated into riding the new 2023 Dodge Charger and 2023 Dodge Challenger special editions coming out in a finite assortment. So far, we’ve discovered about six special edition rides open for customers in a limited supply, as only 200 or 300 vehicles were made depending on the specific Dodge muscle car. Dodge has gained the Kelley Blue Book’s Best Car Styling Brand Image award for the fourth year in a row and we can see this trend going on for a full half-decade considering this line-up for the 2023 model year looks out-of-hand exciting.

Highlights of the 2023 Model Year

Drivers can test the outstanding SRT (Street Racing Technology) catalog that fetches back the Dodge Durango SRT large-size SUV with its Hellcat trim offering, the impressive SRT muscle cars that highlights the best of this model year, and more with our help. For those patrons that are loyal to Dodge, they will have their opportunity to get this wicked fast SUV as an option quite shortly. 2022 3rd Quarter Shows 22% Rise In Dodge Sales

Dodge-Dart

Dodge is out to reinvent the muscle car wheel with its EV treatment. Those in the know have said the brand came close to constructing their next-generation muscle car with a new platform to compete with the rival brands of Chevy and Ford in the muscle segment, aside from the Charger and Challenger. Most importantly for Dodge, they saw their numbers increase by 22% in the third-quarter of 2022. This change is arriving thanks to the attention Dodge has to upgrade their rides the right way. In truth, hard work does pay. The hard work is capital for the brand’s pocket and investments ahead of its muscle future in 2023 and beyond.

A Host of Dodge Designs Going Onward

Dodge is preparing to create some huge waves in its production with its EV growth they are about to welcome. The most recent plan includes taking their time to formulate the correct Dodge muscle car that will be displayed as the final muscle car of the current generation. Dodge is seeking to satisfy fans of the combustion engine with its final Challenger muscle car being offered; this is said to be most amazing muscle car reveal Dodge has pledged. For now, sales are increasing for the Dodge brand per efforts to deliver more options, among upgrades built across the brand.

“Our dealers are making every effort to deliver upon each and every customer’s needs while we continue to deal with challenging industry supply constraints. We also saw orders open up for the all-new Jeep Grand Cherokee 4xe this August, adding another 4xe nameplate to Jeep brand with the Wrangler 4xe here in the U.S., and the Dodge and Chrysler brands each saw strong third quarters as we head into the final sales season of the year,” U.S. Head of Sales Jeff Kommor said in a news release.

Dodge Dart Still Selling In 2022?

Some interesting notes on the Dodge brand have come to light in the last few days, including the fact the Dodge Dart is still out there and being sold. The third-quarter of 2022 has seen the Dodge Dart hit a total of three car sales. The Dodge Dart was last built before in 2016 and the stock for various dealerships might contain the Dodge Dart from 2016 or even earlier. The Dart nameplate first came out back in the 1960s and saw its first-run end in 1976. Interested to find a ride that is absolutely in stock today? We have the right Dodge vehicles at the right price in Miami Lakes!

Dodge Reserves Reveal For Final “Last Call” Muscle Car

Could this be the all-new Dodge Hornet hidden in the EV Day 2021 Presentation? (Stellantis).

Earlier this year, an intriguing report noted the potential of the final Dodge Challenger being assembled. Conceivably that’s exactly the reason Dodge is taking their moment and stretching out from their final reveal for their “Last Call” farewell tour. The first appearance for the long-awaiting crowd pleaser is on hold. The SEMA showcase in early November prove to be a little too early as some stockpile issues have delayed the operation. However, we believe this was decided on with the future in mind. Rather than have a last run with all the upcoming vehicles displayed back-to-back-to-back-to-back-to-back-to-backs weeks as they have accomplished. Now, Dodge looks like they are holding this final Dodge entry to be shown off as a stand-alone ride at some point later in 2022 or possibly in 2023.

Enjoy the Fast and the Few

Suppose those who can’t get their hands on the new and finite entries, as few as 200 or 300 vehicles are being made for those unique final current generation Charger and Challenger vehicles. The definitive Last Call effort is anticipated to offer a tremendous 900 horsepower engine stock when using the suggested E85 fuel. No other details have been cast thus far. Keep in mind, Dodge CEO Tim Kuniskis added a 1FAST29 license plate on the back of this conclusive Last Call muscle car. This special edition holds a candle to any new special edition released, including the King Daytona Charger.

know the future of the brand involves promoting the electric vehicle mark with Dodge EV capabilities. So with all the perks that will come with these modern and currently new built vehicles, why would Dodge venture to deliver one last outlandish Dodge muscle car with the 909 horsepower? Well, to offer their loyal customers one last chance to enjoy the perks of V8 HEMI power thanks to its E85 gasoline required perks set to be offered for the 2023 Dodge Challenger.

Breaking Down the E85 Fuel

This use of E85 fuel is known as “flex fuel” as its a mixture of both ethanol and gasoline, alas with a higher concentration of ethanol than the typical gasoline offered with regular fuel. The Dodge muscle car lineup requires this kind of juice to move as its thermal efficiency and fuel consumption require a more powerful burst. There’s exactly 69 more horsepower offered than its SRT Demon relative made nearly five years ago.

When we think of the near present day of Dodge vehicles, we know the wait to drive a Dodge EV is close. For now, we are still all about how powerful they evolve to be in this decade. We don’t have to wait now for the most suitable for those who have held out for the end of the line with Dodge muscle. The threshold for street-legal vehicles offering this level of horsepower and torque was grown by Dodge and won’t get any more elevated from gasoline-powered muscle cars. This is because of combustion engines being replaced for more fuel efficient rides. The way the gas pedal pushes down and the feeling of owning a gasoline-powered Dodge muscle car is striving to change for the first time soon as Dodge readies up for its EV takeoff. Now is the time to buy Dodge, and we’re ready to help make any and all Dodge dreams a reality at Miami Lakes Automall.

Dodge Plans One More Charger Surprise

Dodge introduced their sixth and most sensational special edition yet in the “Last Call” series. These are the final muscle cars of the current generation before we see the all-new Dodge Challenger and Charger rides that have not been massively updated since their re-debut back during the decade before last. The all-new 2023 Dodge Challenger Black Ghost is the newest example. While we await the finale for the current generation of the Challenger, let us explore what pushes this new special edition as a captivating option. The Challenger Black Ghost is going to ride with a 6.2-Liter V8 powered engine that is direct from the SRT Hellcat Redeye. The feel of this ride is inspired by the Detroit street racing community that has seen quite a few impressive vehicles debut and race on the streets of Detroit, Michigan. This special edition holds a candle to any new special edition released, including the King Daytona Charger.

Backstory on the Last Call “Black Ghost” Effort

Jumping into the “Last Call” special edition, we spot the platform of the popular widebody version of the Dodge Challenger Hellcat Redeye. The Black Ghost special edition pushed another 10 horsepower to hit 797 to 807 horsepower. This puts the 2023 Dodge Challenger Black Ghost in the rarefied atmosphere of the legendary 2018 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon. The looks used on the Black Ghost are taken from the appearance of the original Black Ghost that was made back in 1970. The 1970 Challenger R/T was a remarkable ride upon its debut and the Black Ghost will be just as impressive to witness live as a 1970 Dodge Challenger. Keep in mind, only 300 2023 Dodge Challenger Black Ghost muscle cars will be produced.

This is the sixth and second-to-last Challenger muscle car being displayed before the last and most impressive muscle car reveal Dodge has promised. The foundation for the Black Ghost is uncovered from the 1970 Challenger R/T SE, but also made famous by Godfrey Qualls, a former Detroit motorcycle police officer. He owned a black ’70 Challenger and would drag race with its 426 HEMI engine and eventually his legendary ride was moved to the National Historic Vehicle Register in 2020. Qualls passed away in 2015, but his son supported to raise some recognition to the brand and his story lives on with the motivation indulged into this all-new Dodge effort.

Breaking Down the Perks of the Black Ghost

The 2023 Challenger will carry plenty of trims, but the unique special edition Pitch Black is a sight to see. The body color carries a polished and refined with black faux-gator-skin roof vinyl that looks comparable to the Dodge Challenger Pitch Black from the 70s. The Black Ghost special edition includes chrome “Dodge” front badges, a white stripe on the rear fender, added “Challenger” badges across the grille, rear spoiler, and front fender. Dodge included 20-inch Satin Carbon wheels with six-piston Brembo brakes; a top-of-the-line muscle car that is most likely to be sold out fast! Find out what we can do to help get our readers into the newest Dodge muscle cars as soon as possible. The seventh and final “Last Call” edition will be displayed live during the 2022 SEMA show in November, Stellantis added in a message to the press. Dodge has not announced any platform on the pricing on any of the special editions for now. We await for this sweet ride along with the EV muscle car set to debut in less than two years.

Dodge Debuts 803 Horsepower “King Daytona” Charger

Dodge is always aiming to surprise and delight shoppers with tons of special edition packages arriving for both the Dodge Charger and Dodge Challenger muscle cars for the 2023 model year. 2022 is the last year before we will see production cars built on a new platform next year. The Dodge muscle class of next year will gain stunning upgrades that will include EV technology. Electric vehicles are poised to take over the current traditional production vehicle market.

Last Call Promotion Rewarding Shoppers With Tons of Choices

The fifth car in the set of the Dodge brand’s Last Call release of muscle car packages includes the Dodge Challenger Shakedown, Dodge Charger Super Bee, and “Swinger” muscle packages. The new reveal is the Dodge Charger King Daytona. The Charger King Daytona will be the most limited release as only 300 of these SRT muscle cars are going to be made. The nameplate is taken from drag racing lore that includes the most famous racing period in American history; the famed 1960s. For many decades, the 1969 Dodge Charger represented the pinnacle of performance. Back then, the West Coast drag racer Big Willie Robison had nicknamed his 1969 Dodge Charger the “King Daytona” and would encourage others to go from the street racing circuit towards the legal racing streets. The special edition built by Dodge in 2022 will push the limits of what can be offered as a legal production vehicle.

The Wicked Power of the King Dayona

The Dodge Charger King Daytona comes with a wicked 807-horsepower! Hitting over 800 horsepower much like the best of the best in terms of Dodge engineering features, this one holds a candle to the SRT Demon, SRT Hellcat Redeye and the various other SRT creations made by Dodge in recent years. Go Mango orange body color paint looks fresh with the same color highlighted with orange stitching throughout the interior. There is special interior badging on the instrumental panel, 20 by 11 inch Satin Carbon Warp Speed wheels. Orange six-piston Brembo brakes, Black Nappa / Alcantara “Daytona” seats, suede headliner, a Harmon Kardon sound system with power sunroof and a navigation package included. This is the fifth Last Call Dodge muscle car revealed with two more set to come out to the public. We will know later in September about the sixth one, but the 2022 SEMA Show will offer insight into the last and special Dodge Last Call vehicle.

Swinger Miami Lakes Automall

Dodge Announces Last Call “Swinger” Muscle Packages

Dodge reported they will add a new Charger and Challenger limited-edition cars with the “Swinger” nameplate. Largely like the new limited-time Shakedown and Super Bee Limited Editions revealed recently, the Swingers will be Scat Pack versions of the cars with special-edition perks and options. Dodge is showcasing the seven “Last Call” special editions that will be released ahead of its EV muscle car in 2024. We have also learned about the all-new Dodge Hornet plug-in hybrid that will be a hot item once production begins.

New Special Edition Dodge Muscle Cars Keep Comin’!

We’re excited to witness yet another new special edition; the 2023 Swinger Challenger and Swinger Charger are the third and fourth special editions announced so far in 2022. This news is arriving off the recently disclosed Challenger Shakedown and Charger Super Bee special editions. The Swinger name was taken from the famed 1969 Dodge Dart. Both Swinger options are set to be sold in both the Widebody variant and with Dodge’s Scat Pack. Owners gain a 485-horsepower 6.4-Liter V8 powertrain. Dodge is making these special editions exclusively limited to only 2,000 of these vehicles; 1,000 per muscle nameplate and this is the amount expected for each special edition. These are unique rides that are expected to gain a lot of attention before Dodge moves into its EV movement starting next year.

Inside the Special Edition Packages

These new special editions come with these unique appearance packages that serve as a modern design based on the 1970s-era creation. They will arrive finished with badges, lush interior design including green-on-green exterior colors with gold accents and green stitching on the chairs, dash, center console, and steering wheel. Exterior paint options are F8 Green, Sublime Green, or White Knuckle, and a special “Gold School” badging will feature on the exterior to pair with a retro graphic on the rear fender. The Challenger Swinger will arrive with its sleek gold-painted Shaker intake hood and top-tier perks uncovered in the new 2023 Charger and Challenger muscle car alternatives.

Drive the Last Call Vehicles While They Are Here

For those expecting to see the whole set of the Dodge brand’s Last Call special editions, the next two special editions are coming on September 14th and 21st, 2022. The last and final “Last Call” edition will be shown during the 2022 SEMA show in November, Stellantis added in a statement to the press. Dodge has not announced any outlet on the prices on any of the special editions as it stands today, but the company reported the pricing would be released via dealership allotment particulars along with when orders should be ready for the Scat Pack Swingers and the rest of the Last Call muscle cars. The new electric muscle car will be made as a production vehicle. We’re game for all the newest Dodge muscle cars!

Dodge Goes Banshee With Newest Effort

Brushed aluminum fender badges announce the new pinnacle of performance in the Brotherhood of Muscle: Banshee. The 800V Banshee propulsion system powers the Dodge Charger Daytona SRT Concept car and screams performance.

Dodge will establish a brand new class of muscle this week as seven special editions of the Charger and Challenger will be showcased. The latest report also includes a unique Dodge Coronet “Super Bee” vehicle is one of the vehicles expected to be announced. Dodge placed this vehicle under a special tarp that included a plethora of honeycombs on as a design. We can easily surmise from this the Super Bee nameplate. The most recent news on the Dodge brand also includes the release of a new Challenger muscle car. Stepping into the all-new Dodge Banshee BEV, possibly set to come in due time, as the vehicle is a concept for now, providing a look into the glass ball of Stellantis and Dodge for what’s coming next. We’ve had our focus on the reports about what Dodge will do for months, but now we know more so than we thought.

We Can’t Stop Smiling Looking At the Banshee

We’re siked to see this brand new special edition 2023 Dodge Challenge pay tribute to the amazing 1971 Dodge Shakedown Challenger concept that was first shown off during the 2016 SEMA exhibition. The Challenger Shakedown is anticipated to be dealt with 20 by 9.5-inch low gloss black Slingshot wheels. There will be a remarkable widebody to come for this and we’re sure absolutely of a few others for the 2023 model year. The particulars of every vehicle are going to be displayed in more depth in the forthcoming weeks ahead, but we do know the widebody versions will include 20 by 11-inch carbon black Warp Speed wheels. Regardless if they go widebody or not, an owner will gain red six-piston Brembo brake calipers. These are the top-of-the-line breaks found in all the greatest sports and muscle cars. The 2023 Dodge Challenger will be made and might carry the new Hurricane powertrain.

More Details On the Interior

Lush features are found throughout the cabin and the entire interior, including a red and black theme throughout with racing stripes down the middle. The seating includes a lush combo of Alcantara with black Nappa leather. The stitching is found across the entire console, seatbelts, the seats, and the steering wheel with Demonic Red coloring stitch in. We are also still proclaiming many good things about the all-new 2023 Dodge Hornet mid-size SUV that will commence at a unpretentious cost.

“Dodge Speed Week may be over, but our brand is far from finished in shaking up the muscle car world. We’re following up Speed Week reveals of the future of electrified muscle in the Dodge Charger Daytona SRT Concept and our first electrified vehicle in the 2023 Dodge Hornet R/T by announcing six special, commemorative-edition models in a little over a month,” remarked Tim Kuniskis, Dodge brand chief executive officer – Stellantis.

2023 Hornet Miami Lakes Automall

All-New Dodge Hornet To Start Under $30K?

2023 Hornet Miami Lakes Automall

The Dodge Hornet nameplate first reached the public display at the 2006 Geneva Motor Show as a thoughtful and forward-thinking concept for a crossover. With a boxy design that was all the rage among buyers at the time, a future production version was never produced, until late last year in 2021. Today, new spy photographs reveal a new glimpse of one under development on the road in Detroit. The Hornet we see entering production looks nothing like the original concept from 2006. But, interesting to note how some parallels are noted to its Alfa Romeo Tonale Stellantis sibling. Allow us to breakdown what we have learned in recent months about the forthcoming Dodge Hornet crossover SUV product set to debut in less than a year. This summer might be ending, but before summer closes we’ll learn about an all-new Dodge collection nearing debut.

A Hornet Buzzes This Way

Dodge has placed a strong emphasis on producing a new ride on the preferred platform. Concerning the forthcoming Dodge Hornet, a similar fascia with inlets at each corner with a space in the center resembling a trapezoidal figure is expected. There’s a slim grille in the center of the vehicle’s front and a larger opening above it. The headlights are narrow and have tapered edges. Complete with its arching roofline and curved window on the rear hatchback that supports the Hornet crossover from looking too square. The descending part of the window on the rear door has an upward projection. The wheels on this vehicle appear to be the same ones that the Tonale sports. The spy images also reveal the Hornet carries a gorgeous spoiler on the roof, and a place for outlines on the sides of the window. On each side, there rest three rectangular tail lights.

Growing Powertrain Possibilities?

Regarding the Hornet’s engine options for the Hornet are allegedly the exact ones as what the Tonale delivers. In the United States, this is the trusted 1.3-Liter turbocharged four-cylinder with an electric motor powering the rear axle for a complete system output of 272 horsepower. A 15.5-kilowatt-hour battery pack provides more than 30 miles of a driving range. Should the Hornet also have the Tonale’s full motor lineup, then the Hornet will arrive with a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder powertrain that supports 256 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque. In Europe, the Alfa has two 1.5-liter mild-hybrid powertrains and a diesel option.

Another relation between the Hornet and the Tonale will be their production site. Both will arrive from the Pomigliano d’Arco Assembly Plant in Italy. Dodge CEO Tim Kuniskis has authorized the small crossover to be assigned to arrive at some point later in 2022. Will this vehicle have some EV capabilities?
