The Chrysler Pacifica Makes The Cut On Top 5 Family-Friendly Vehicles For Cars.com

Recently, the popular automotive website, Cars.com gave the Chrysler Pacifica one of many honors, as it ranked it among the top-five family-friendly vehicles for this year. The publication sang the Pacifica’s praises for its generous seating space (perfect for social distancing), Uconnect Theater, as well as its optional sunroof options that give way for increased airflow.

As previously mentioned, the Pacifica gaining a spot among the top-five contenders is not the first time that the famous minivan has been recognized for its purposefulness for families. This year in April, PARENTS magazine gave the Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid the honor of the 2020 Best Family Cars award. Additionally, the 2021 Chrysler Pacifica won the 2020 Best New Family Car award from Good Housekeeping (in partnership with Car and Driver) in the minivan category.

Cars.com made the list in tandem with its release of new survey data that spotlights parents’ decisions on safe transportation for back-to-school. According to the automotive site, as children returned to school, as many as 55 percent of parents will opt to drive their children to school rather than allowing them to use school buses or other means of public transportation. The website also has a survey that indicates that the number of parents are setting out to carpool with other parents is up by 22 percent.

“Back to school looks very different for families this year because of the ongoing pandemic,” said Jenni Newman, editor-in-chief, Cars.com. “Because of this, parents are turning to their personal vehicles as the best mode of transport for kids returning to in-person learning. The Chrysler Pacifica provides families spending more time in the car a comfortable escape with a spacious interior to carry extra supplies or snacks and digital features to entertain while traveling to-and-from school and beyond.”

The Pacifica rocks a standard seven and available eight-passenger seats with plenty of legroom. In the back seat area, there is also an optional Uconnect Theater that comes with built-in games and available WiFi, perfect for keeping the little kiddos occupied while waiting through those long drop-off lines. Moreover, there are available dual- and tri-pane automatic sunroof options that bring in that nice, fresh breeze at just a push of a button.

Stow n’ Go storage bins are located in the second-row, this makes way for passengers to use the extra space for items like textbooks and other important school supplies. The available Stow ‘n Vac also aids in cleaning up any messes made by the little ones. The Pacifica also makes other soccer moms jealous with its latest advanced safety features and security technology, with over 100 standard and optional gadgets to choose from, such as the five LATCH child seat configurations.

More family-centered features are on the way for the 2021 Chrysler Pacifica and are set to arrive in dealerships in the fourth quarter, some which include:

  • More standard safety features that outnumbers any other vehicle in the automotive market.
  • An optional and new all-wheel-drive (AWD) to aid in transporting children to school in various types of weather joined with the van’s class-exclusive Stow ‘Go seating.
  • Four new games for the Uconnect Theater: Concentration, chess, Chrysler Says (later availability), and backgammon (later availability).
  • A new FamCam interior camera that makes way for parents to monitor their children from their seats and even zoom in occupants.
  • The first of its segment, USB Type C ports that charge devices up to four times faster than traditional USB outlets.

It also includes a variety of advanced technology features that are standard such as Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, as well as a highly efficient V6 engine.

Interior

The Voyager’s interior is built very strategically and its surfaces are nice to the touch. The upholstery comes in either a black or toffee color, and only cloth seats are available.

Traditionally, this Chrysler model accommodates up to seven people in three rows. Two of the second-row bench seats are standard. However, buyers can also opt for two second-row bucket seats, which will make it easier for passengers to slide in and out between rows coming from the third row.

Passengers in the first row will appreciate the vast amount of legroom as well as excellent visibility. Though, back seat passengers should also find their seats to be quite comfortable.

Cargo space in the 2020 Voyager is also quite plentiful as it has 32.5 cubic feet worth; 87.5 cubic feet with third-row seats folded and 140.5 cubic feet with the second- and third-row seats folded.

Additionally, this minivan includes standard Stow’n Go seats that fold into the floor from the third row. This feature permits owners to make better use of their cargo capacity without the hassle of having to remove the seat.

There is even more storage space throughout the interior which includes the Stow’n Go storage in-floor cargo cubbies in the rear seats, an umbrella holder in the front seat, and even storage bins and drawers to accommodate other small items.

In terms of tech features, both drivers and passengers will enjoy Chrysler’s Uconnect infotainment system for this vehicle. The system is very user-friendly and responds quickly.

Performance

Drivers will quickly find that the Voyager gets the job done swiftly and smoothly during commutes. It’s powered by a 3.6-liter V6 engine which has 287 horsepower. A standard 9-speed automatic transmission also aids in the efficiency of this vehicle.

This vehicle also provides some of the best gas mileage figures in its segment. The front-wheel-drive models bring out 19 mpg for the city and 28 mpg for the highway.

Safety

Parents will find great comfort in knowing that the 2020 Voyager has already been esteemed for its ability to keep its occupants safe. In fact, The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration gave the minivan an overall safety rating of 5 out of 5 stars, specifical for frontal and side crash test, as well as four stars in the rollover assessment. The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety also honored the vehicle with a good rating in four crash tests.

To add on, the Voyager includes advanced safety features such as a standard rearview camera, as well as optional rear parking sensors, blind-spot monitoring, and rear cross-traffic alert.

The overall cherry on top is that Chrysler provides a three-year/36,000-mile basic warranty and a five-year/60,000-mile powertrain warranty.

An Overview of Something New: The 2021 Chrysler Pacifica

It’s an all-out war in the automobile market when it comes to minivans and SUVs, but the Chrysler Pacifica will be damned if anyone even thinks that they can take its crown, especially after the debut of the 2021 Chrysler Pacifica.

As always the Pacifica is tailor-made to accommodate families who value lots of space and ease of access, similar to a compact SUV. The latest Chrysler vehicle can lodge up to eight occupants, and also provides a ride that is stable and comfortable. Furthermore, active safety and driver-assistance features come standard, and all-wheel-drive is optional.

New features include range-dominant Pinnacle trim, revitalized styling, a Fam-Cam interior camera, updated Uconnect 5 with Amazon Alexa, Wireless Apple CarPlay and Andriod Auto, and overall more standard safety features.

Full-Efficient Engines

The gasoline-powered 2021 Pacifica uses an efficient 3.6-liter V6 engine and is paired up with a 9-speed automatic transmission. The newest Chrysler vehicle is one of the most well-regulated minivans, as it saves lots of energy and fuel. Similar to plenty of other new vehicles, the Pacifica includes a stop/start feature that saves energy when the vehicle comes at a stop or other inactive scenarios. However, if one is not fond of this function, they can easily deactivate the system.

However, if one wants to prefers something that is a bit more environmentally friendly, a recommended choice would be the Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid. This drivetrain in particular is accessible on all trims, though without all-wheel-drive. A V6 engine is included and paired with a continuously variable transmission (CVT), it also has a little extra oomph deriving from two electric motors charged by a lithium-ion battery.

The 2021 Hybrid can roam up to 32 miles on just electric power, all before finally switching to its gasoline engine, having a range of up to 520 miles. With the help of the 240-volt charger or the 120-volt charging cable (already included), it only takes a few hours to charge the battery.

A Stable and Centered Drive

Driving the newest Pacifica will prove to be an exceptionally delightful experience, that is almost serene-like. Although it doesn’t have the fastest powertrain, it still gives quite a decent kick, with another plus being that it rates to tow up to 3,600 pounds.

As great as the lovely as the driving experience for the standard Pacifica prove to be, its Hybrid version has adds a bit more flavor in its performance.  The drivetrain has a much more powerful punch, even when its electric battery is soon set to switch to the gasoline motor.

Simple Exterior Design

The exterior on 2021 Chrysler Pacifica is none too dramatic, but then again it doesn’t have to be, it still has the same class and charm that we know and love it for. The updates that it does have includes a look that is a bit sleeker, a new grille, LED headlights, LED taillights, and LED fog lights. Also included are new styles for the alloy wheels, as well as Fathom Blue as a new point choice.

The base Touring trim includes 17-inch alloy wheels, and 18-inch for the Limited trim. The Pinnacle trim, however, gets a couple of extra inches more (20-inches).

Sporty-Like Interior

When a passenger enters the cabin of the 2021 Chrysler Pacifica, without warning they are encompassed by the sleek and sexy design that surrounds the cabin. The overall fit and finish of the materials are well above excellence and has a look to it that is very upscale. This high-end look of the interior is further enhanced with overall advanced technology and connectivity features.

The new ritzy-like minivan can accommodate either seven or eight passengers, depending on whether or not buyers opt for a pair of captain’s chairs or a 3-person bench. The Hybrid already includes second-row captain’s chairs, therefore making a 7-seater by default.

Drivers will find great comfort in their seats, as well as great viewability. Loyal followers of the Pacifica will find that the Uconnect 5 system has been updated and is compatible with Amazon Alexa, and also comes with a new standard 10.1-inch touchscreen.

Another plus of the interior is the generous cargo space for regular and hybrid versions, starting from 32.3 to 140.5 cubic feet, especially made possible by the Pacifica standard Stow ‘n Go seats.

Standard Features

A Pacifica just isn’t itself without its wide range of features. Starting with the base Touring trim, it comes with a plethora of advanced features, it comes with powered tailgate, rain-sensing wipers, power-sliding side doors, 8-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, tri-zone automatic climate control and a 10.1-inch infotainment touchscreen with Apple CarPlay/Android Auto smartphone integration.

Optional Features

There a few more gifts and prizes on the Pacifica, as long your willing pay of course…don’t worry though, it’s all worth it. More features on the Pinnacle trim include the self-parking system with a 360-degree camera array, rear-seat entertainment setup, vacuum cleaner, and a 115-volt outlet. These goodies are accessible as options on the lowered trims.

Henceforth, once should consider at the very least opting for the Touring L, since it includes extra standard features like sunshades for the second and third rows, perforated leather upholstery, and heated front seats. It’s also entitled to more options.

For a more appeal to the eye, it doesn’t hurt to consider the Red S Appearance Package for Pacifica Limited vehicle, which adds on plush red leather upholstery.

Miami Lakes Automall

The 2021 Chrysler Pacifica likely won’t reach dealership until the Fall of 2020, but in the meantime, Miami Lakes Automall sells plenty of 2020 models that are also family-friendly and has features that are very up to date. Whether you choose to wait for the new model or opt for this year’s Pacifica, chat with one of your online representatives for further information and overall assistance.

The Chrysler Brand Stays 6 Feet Away As They Collaborate With Actress Kathryn Hahn For Their New Social Campaign

The Chrysler company teams up with actress Kathryn Hahn yet again to promote their famous Chrysler Pacifica in a new social video campaign dubbed “Pacifica Mom On Quarantine”. In the video, the well-known comedic actress makes the Chrysler Pacifica her getaway of sorts from her kids and shares with us her inaccurate but somewhat relatable-confessional of her daily life as a mom, specifically while in quarantine. At some point Hahn mentions that she’ll have to wear pants again, to which eventually the commercial ends with the message saying “Ready For What’s Next, Even If You’re Not”.

Obviously, during the pandemic, it might be difficult for some companies to create content of any sort while maintaining a safe distance or creating necessary safety precautions, but as usual, the Chrysler brand had quite a few tricks up its sleeve.

“In a time when social distancing practices have become the new normal, Chrysler brand and Hahn had to take a challenging approach during production of our most recent collaboration,” said Olivier Francois, Chief Marketing Officer, FCA. “Given our production’s top priority was to ensure the health and safety of all involved during the one-day production, we filmed entirely on an iPhone equipped with a remote feed inside the Chrysler Pacifica, and Kathryn worked on set with a small crew of two and relied on a tablet inside the vehicle to allow for directional feedback.”

Needless to say, this is quite an impressive and creative solution to create content for the company while still being able to maintain a strong level of safety and security for everyone involved.

Here are some safety precautions shared with us by the FCA:

  • Plenty of safety measures at the ready, such as with the crew wearing masks, gloves, disinfecting the equipment and the vehicle.
  • There were only two crew members present at the Los Angeles location with actress Kathyrn Hahn.
  • The technological direction set up small lights and locked the camera, otherwise known as camera framing, and then withdrew from that area at a safe distance when Kathryn arrived onto “set”.
  • The video technician manager collaborated with the Chrysler brand team and their creative agency, in Detroit by a remote feed, utilizing a “virtual chat room” and allowing them to see the takes and provide any necessary direction or feedback. This enabled Hahn to communicate visually and audibly with the team after her takes with a tablet, and also make certain that Hahn, the agency and clients were happy with the takes.
  • The camera was equipped with iPhones and technology for a remote feed.
  • The production occurred at a private residence with occupants staying away from during the duration of the shoot.

As you can see, Chrysler still lives up to its reputation by prioritizing the safety of others, especially families. Its prized possession, the Chrysler Pacifica, provides an exceptional amount of usefulness, changeability, technology, and innovative styling to add peace of mind while driving.

The Chrysler company made this campaign in partnership with its creative agency Doner.

Three Ways That The 2020 Chrysler Pacifica Smartened Up!

The Chrysler Pacifica has quite the reputation as an all-capable minivan, and just when you thought that it reached its peak, three new incredible upgrades have when made thanks to the adding of the Launch Edition. These new improvements provide better handling and infotainment, which proves to be very valuable for families who pretty much live in their car. Here’s Are Three Ways That The 2020 Chrysler Pacifica Smartened Up!

2020 Chrysler Pacifica Launch Gives Us AWD

The 2020 Chrysler Launch brings on the most developed all-wheel-drive system in its class, making it the first since 2004. This new additive will be coming to dealerships in the third quarter of this year, but those who are interested can order it now.

Shoppers who opt for AWD will have far better control of their vehicle because if a driver were to lose traction in his or her wheels, the system will move all of its available engine torque to the wheels that provide the most traction. This type of drive is particularly important in dangerous weather conditions, such as heavy snow or rain. Alternatively, driving on difficult pavements or off-road terrain, even in relatively pleasant driving conditions would benefit greatly from the AWD. As previously stated, although Chrysler made the decision to make the AWD system a tangible choice early, despite the fact that it was likely meant for the 2021 Pacifica model first.

“Reaction was overwhelmingly positive when we announced that the new 2021 Chrysler Pacifica will offer AWD capability. We know there is demand for AWD capability along with Stow ‘n Go seating, and the 2020 Chrysler Pacifica AWD Launch Edition allows us to get our customers the all-weather capability they want even sooner,” said Tim Kuniskis, Global Head of Alfa Romeo and Head of Passenger Cars – Dodge, SRT, Chrysler and FIAT, FCA – North America. “The Pacifica offers families solutions and with the 2020 Pacifica AWD Launch Edition, we’re delivering the most advanced system in its class, and one that engages without any driver input, to help owners get where they want to go in any type of weather.”

The AWD System Is Only There When You Need It

Another perk about the AWD system is that its faultless fusing into the 2020 Chrysler Pacifica Launch Edition is made to where it can disengage seamlessly when it is not needed. This knack of automatically turning off its system is saved just for the minivan segment. Not only does this ability better the vehicle’s overall effectiveness but it also improves its fuel economy.

Increased Size On Infotainment Screen

A Pacifica simply isn’t a Pacifica without its infotainment features, however, with the 2020 AWD Launch Edition, available specifically on the Pacifica Touring L model, this package comes with the adding of an 8.4-inch Uconnect touchscreen, which provides ease for the driver while he or she is using the infotainment. Extra goodies that are also offered include optional packages like Uconnect Navigation, Uconnect Theater, Advanced SafetyTec, a tri-pane panoramic sunroof, trailer tow, KeySense, and a premium package. U.S. manufacturer’s suggested retail price (MSRP) for the Launch Edition goes for about $40,240, not including destination fees.

The 2020 Chrysler Pacifica AWD Launch Edition is geared with the same system as that of the remolded 2021 Chrysler Pacifica, which should be available in the latter part of this year.

The 2020 Chrysler Pacifica Gets An Extra Pair Of Kicks With It’s New AWD

The latest 2021 Chrysler Pacifica is taking the minivan world by storm by providing all-wheel-drive (AWD) superpowers. Soccer moms…and dads everywhere will get to enjoy a more stylish and refined look, as well as a plethora of standard safety features once it finally reaches our dealerships by the fourth quarter of this year. Luckily, those who are anticipating AWD won’t have to wait much longer. Dealerships will now be able to request the 2020 Chrysler Pacifica AWD Launch Edition, which is proficient in tackling roads for any season and is fully automatic, as an available feature of this year’s Pacifica.

The 2020 Chrysler Pacifica AWD Launch Edition, specifically saved for the Touring L trim, is armed with the same AWD that drivers can opt for on the all-new 2021 Pacifica. The Pacifica model is the only car to match-up AWD with class-exclusive Stow’n Go seating, as well as the only car in its segment that has the ability to shift all of the offered torque to the rear wheels or whatever wheels to provide more traction. This system also has great detection and sensory abilities, which will stop the driveshaft from spinning when the AWD is not necessary, promoting effectiveness.

Chrysler’s AWD Launch Edition for 2020 comes in S Appearance, which comes with a Black Noise AWD badge and even a Black Noise Pacifica and Chrysler wing badging, it also rolls on enhanced 18-inch wheels in the new “Foreshadow” finish. The headlamp edges, grille surrounds, rear valance and daylight opening (DLO) are coated with a beautiful Gloss Black color.

The fully-black S Appearance for the interior is improved with McKinley leather seats edged with Light Diesel Grey stitching and an 8.4-inch Uconnect touchscreen radio. Brushed metal hydro bezels make for a great addition to interior accents. There are also impressive optional gadgets and packages like Uconnect Navigation, Uconnect Theater, Advanced SafetyTec, a tri-pane panoramic sunroof, trailer tow, KeySense and the Premium Group package.

The 2020 Chrysler Pacifica AWD Launch Edition is now accessible for both North American and Canadian dealerships. The U.S. manufacturer’s suggested retail price (MSRP) is $40,240, (not including destination fees), and also comes with the AWD Launch Edition package, with an MSRP of 3,095.

The 2021 Chrysler Pacifica’s User-Friendly UConnect 5 System Is The Best Yet

For a long time, SUVs and minivans have encompassed a trend of turning their vehicle interior’s into a sort of home away from home, and not just with their chic designs and comforts but their advanced technology. Chrysler is perhaps one of the most notable brands to adopt this trend, particularly in its Pacifica models, and year after year it wins accolades and awards for being a vehicle that is very suitable for families.

Just when it seems like Chrysler has reached its peak, the company introduces its new center infotainment screen on its 2021 Pacifica minivan. Its enhancements show that it intends to evolve with the times, as it has features that are compatible with mobile devices.

Fiat Chrysler statistics state that 51 percent of buyers of new cars specify interior-tech as one of their determinants.  Bearing in mind buyers who are cultured with different types of technology, the number is likely even greater, as 64 percent of rerun buyers claim the interior technology made them want to come back.

Car reviewers and even some automakers frequently make the assumption that when car buyers say that they prioritize interior technology that this means including a lot of gaudy features in the center console with entertainment features and other conveniences, while that can certainly be a plus, what most buyers really mean by value is a system that is user-friendly and not this flashy and complicated system they have to work with while trying to maintain control on the highway. Those who opt for a Chrysler vehicle will have hit the jackpot based on their tech needs since the company’s UConnect system is often favored for its ease of use.

The newest UConnect is 5 times faster than the previous generation. This takes care of the issues of earlier systems, as it would take a few seconds too long after the driver pressed a button, which really doesn’t help the issue of short attention spans during the digital age and can also prove to be very dangerous. For the first time, the system also includes wireless connectivity with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Another improvement of the UConnect 5 includes bigger fonts and buttons. As great as it is for automakers to add more features, it becomes more of an inconvenience if they start jamming all of these features in places where they cannot be located easily. Chrysler’s designer made sure that this doesn’t happen for next year’s model by making certain configurations that make buttons easy to spot by drivers, this is especially important since many studies have shown that drivers taking their eyes off the road even for a few seconds can increase the chances of a crash dramatically.

The latest UConnect still has some familiarities that aids in accommodating all of the main features while reducing the number of digital knobs on one screen, like having more than one monitor to work with. Ultimately drivers can simply configure their most practiced functions onto the home screen, as well as other drivers in the household. The new Pacifica will also receive a bigger 10.1-inch, horizontal center screen.

Another first for the new UConnect is the ability for the car to collaborate with Smarthome features in the driver’s house like the thermostat or garage door opener. This system provides even more versatility now that it’s Android-based, which means owners will have possible admission to the largest third-party apps in the world.

While we are waiting for the 2021 Pacifica to be released, there is still another option. The 2020 Chrysler Pacifica provides comfort and ease for both drivers and passengers alike. Miami Lakes Automall has a plethora of different Chrysler models to meet and your families needs, feel free to check out our new online car inventory and chat with an online representative for more assistance.

FCA and Chrysler Expand Their Partnership With No Kid Hungry

Why FCA Is Expanding Their No Kid Hungry Partnership

Recently in mid-March, as a response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) decided to pay it forward by expanding its union with No Kid Hungry, a national campaign that is dedicated to ending child hunger in America. The FCA’s partnership with the organization would help to provide more than 1 million meals to children who rely on school meals, sometimes as their only means of getting wholesome food.

“There has never been a more important moment to help children and their families,” said Mark Stewart, Chief Operating Officer of FCA – North America. “FCA and the Chrysler brand are pleased to support No Kid Hungry in its mission to end childhood hunger.”

Slowly but surely the plan is being set in motion to No Kid Hungry’s recipients: schools, food banks and community groups across the nation are being supported with 640,000 meals during temporary school shutdowns, in which FCA’s partnership is instrumental.

Ever since the nationwide closing of schools in the midst of the pandemic, a considerable number of susceptible children are at risk of losing the healthful meals that they rely on, but thankfully, No Kid Hungry has plans on how to go about feeding them. As part of its relief efforts, the organization is giving emergency grants to schools, food banks and community groups nationwide. It will also veer staff and its resources to the communities in which this problem has taken the worst toll.

“We are incredibly grateful to FCA and to the Chrysler brand for stepping up even more so for America’s kids,” said Tom Nelson, President and CEO at Share Our Strength, the organization behind the No Kid Hungry campaign. “This incremental support will help us feed more vulnerable kids who are currently missing the school meals they rely on.”

Along with FCA’s national collaboration with No Kid Hungry, the family-friendly automobile company is working with more than 40 local nonprofit organizations that are also giving meals to children in communities around its primary manufacturing plants in Illinois, Indiana, Michigan and Ohio. Comparable programs are afoot in Canada and Mexico.

What You Can Do To Help

Additionally, Chrysler supplements these endeavors by working with families by easing their financial burden through Chrysler Pacifica Family Pricing.  Family Pricing eliminates the need for negotiating when buying a vehicle by allowing all customers the same remarkable discount.

If you were already looking for a family-friendly vehicle, a Chrysler Pacifica model is undoubtedly the best one on the market and with the company’s collaboration with No Kid Hungry, there is no time better than right now.

The 2020 Chrysler Pacifica and 2020 Pacifica Hybrid provide comfort and ease for both drivers and passengers alike. It also comes with advanced tech features like power liftgate, power sliding side doors, 8-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, tri-zone climate control and a 7-inch touch-screen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity for the Touring and an 8.4-inch touch screen and a digital instrument cluster for the Hybrid.

Third Times The Charm: The 2021 Chrysler Pacifica Earns Good Housekeeping’s Best New Family Car Award

Last week Tuesday (April 28), Good Housekeeping in collaboration with Car and Driver announced the 2021 Chrysler Pacifica as the winner of its 2020 Best New Family Car award in the minivan segment. The latest Pacifica was recently presented at the 2020 Chicago Auto Show and along with many of its other accolades and honors, it’s helping to maintain its winning streak as the most award minivan over the past four years. The full list of award winners is already shown in the May 2020 print and online edition of Good Housekeeping.

The Good Housekeeping company partnered up with Car and Driver to access a variety of new vehicles in order to determine the top models, going up into the hundreds. They ultimately picked 15 as best-in-class vehicles. The Pacifica is no stranger to critical acclaim and attention, as it has more than 130 industry awards and honors ever since it was introduced, this most recent honor makes it Pacifica’s third successive honor from the notable women’s magazine. Additionally, Pacifica has won Best New Minivan in 2019, and the year before that, its Hybrid version won for Best New Hybrid for 2018.

As announced in February at the Chicago Auto Show, the newest Pacifica will provide a new AWD system, bringing forth the market’s most reliable minivan that not only has AWD but also Stow ‘n Go seating, which no other car in this segment has. This system provides improved traction in a variety of complex road conditions such as roads covered in snow or choppy surfaces, it also adjusts quickly without much need for driver interaction.

The exterior and interior have gone through a likable nip and tuck, such as with the front grille, headlamps, fog lamps and taillamp that all help to provide a sporty and flavorful look. The new Pacifica also includes most of the standard features that you would find in most new automobiles, with an amazing 97 to count and 14 brand-new ones, like LED lights and Pedestrian Automatic Emergency Braking (PAEB).

A new top-tier Pacifica Pinnacle model provides drivers with the most deluxe interior in its segment. A highlighting feature is two new available built-in consoles made to easily drift into the instrument panel. Those who prioritize visual quality on top of practicality will appreciate the Caramel Nappa leather seats which are detailed with quilted seat side bolsters and pierced seat inserts and seatbacks on all three rows. The second-row captain’s chairs include a special set of two movable lumbar comfort pillows, which mirror the overall style of the leather seats and also help to give a splash of class and comfort for non-driving occupants.

It’s quite likely that you won’t find a vehicle that is as technologically savvy as the 2021 Pacifica since it brings in upgrades to the forefront with its latest 10.1-inch touchscreen as a partner of the new Uconnect 5 system, which will be offered in FCA’s North American variant for the first time. The latest touchscreen is the largest standard screen in its class and is roughly 20 percent larger than its predecessor, it also enables processing speeds up to five times faster.

Another highlighting new feature is Pacifica’s FamCAM interior camera, it displays high-definition images and lets the driver keep a close eye on events in the backseat, which of course parents with small children will love. There are also segment-exclusive features that include a split-view display and a fascinating “zoom-to-seat” element.

Moreover, the Pacifica Hybrid pushes out more than 80 miles per gallon equivalent (MPGe) in electric-only mode, an all-electric range of more than 30 miles and a total range of more than 500 miles.

While we are waiting for the new award winner to be released, there is still another option. The 2020 Chrysler Pacifica provides comfort and ease for both drivers and passengers alike. The 2020 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid Adds Kelley Blue Book To Its Long List of Accolades

Not to sound too pretentious, but the Chrysler Pacifica is used to living in the limelight, more particularly when it comes to winning accolades and gaining critical acclaim from noteworthy organizations like the automotive website Cars, as well as Motorweek, New York Daily News Autos Team and much more! This year’s Pacifica gets its favoritism from the editors at Kelley Blue Book, a California-based vehicle valuation and automotive research company. More specifically, Chrysler’s 2020 Pacifica Hybrid has been established on KBB’s list of 10 Best Plug-in Hybrid Cars Under $40,000, taking second place.

“Running errands around town is a big part of family minivan life, and the Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid lets you do it without having to use a drop of gas for 32 miles. You can get a full day’s ‘honey-do’ list checked off within that range — and this is the only minivan that offers a plug-in hybrid powertrain,” according to the KBB editors.

Let’s analyze what makes this Chrysler Hybrid so great!

Energetic Performance

Driving the Pacifica is nothing short of heavenly, especially for long road trips. One can easily plug it in overnight in a 120-volt outlet and you’ll get a 26 to 36-mile charge before the minivan switches to its gas power function of the 3.6-liter V6 with 287 horsepower, the switch is so seamless that drivers will never even notice the switch. Additionally, this cool cruiser has a total driving range of 520 miles and only takes 2 hours to recharge.

The ride is easy and very comfortable for any family, it also very suitable for cargo. Power is very sufficient from this engine and its electric power likely contributes to its very natural and quick feel when it comes to its torque. Handling is also very capable and reliable for this vehicle and is without fault on the highway.

Family-Friendly Reputation and Fun Features

It’s worth noting that just a few weeks ago, 2020 Pacifica Hybrid was also named “Best Eco Pick” by PARENTS Magazine due to the abundance of its incredible safety features. This plug-in certainly deserves its credit as it has a wide range of safety features systems, like the 360-degree Surround View Camera in order to help reveal potential dangers or the Full-Speed Forward Collision Warning with Active Braking, which also aids in avoiding an accident.

The electric minivan has also been recognized for its fun and entertaining features, such being the user-friendly Uconnect 4 infotainment system that is equipped with an 8.4-inch touch screen. This eye-catching screen allows drivers to oversee the performance of their vehicle as well as scan through his or her driving history and schedule charging.

Other noteworthy features include the availability of Uconnect Theater, which lets rear passengers access their favorite movies and games. Since the system comes with wireless headphones, you won’t have to worry about the noise. Best of all, it also comes with two 10-inch HD touch screens.
