The Fully Electric Chrysler Pacifica Will Be Front And Center Of The Upcoming EV Lineup

The Chrysler brand is expanding its portfolio from its current two models (the 300 sedan and Pacifica minivan) to at least three. We should expect this to happen at the same time the company transitions into a fully electric car manufacturer from 2025-2028.

These models will have new nameplates and body styles, with the addition of a crossover developed upon the Chrysler Airflow concept. At the same time, one model that is supposed to stay true to its roots is the Pacifica. When the company becomes fully electrified, this minivan will continue to act as the commander and chief of the lineup.

“Since we reinvented and established the minivan category 40 years ago, we will keep it,” Chrysler Brand CEO Christine Feuell tells MotorTrend in an interview. But it will be re-conceptualized. “Our aspiration is not to just tweak the existing Pacifica and put a battery pack in it. We created the segment. We want to recreate the segment with a new offering that is more modern, certainly electrified, and gives those customers the best combination of interior comfort and versatility as well as the connected technology to make their riding and driving experience best in class.”

Sliding Doors Are A Must-Have

The electric minivan will keep its sliding doors and implement new features like the temperature-controlled frunk (trunk in the front) to store your groceries.

“I don’t see sliding doors going away,” Feuell says. Indeed these doors are one of the main selling points of the Pacifica, as they are quite practical and make it easier to enter and exit the vehicle. Even SUVs offer conventionally hinged doors for those who want them.

Storage space and its artful placement are a must-have for family vehicles, and going electric creates the opportunity for spaces that previously weren’t even possible. We are rethinking frunk ingenuity and what can we do with that space to optimize both storage and functionality,” Feuell says. While some EVs are using the space once occupied by an engine to house electronics or other components, Chrysler will keep it open. “Our intention is to make it a useful, functional space people can use.” Feuell thinks of it as a surprise and delight feature, even more so with aerodynamic, fastback designs on electric vehicles which lessen space in the rear and have personal items exposed with no cover. “The frunk becomes this secure, lockable storage area where you can put your valuables. We are looking at temperature-control options if people want to store food or groceries while shopping around.”

As for the design, one should be on the lookout for the design language and tech features from the Airflow concept to make its way to the new group of EVs. The Airflow was shown as a sleek and posh crossover with 22-inch wheels, a panoramic roof, and a roomy interior with lines that go through the cockpit and persist down the body sides. This concept also has two electric motors and plenty of gadgetry including the STLA SmartCockpit to make it an overall well-connected vehicle. “You’re definitely seeing more harmony and family lineage in the design language and technology integration from vehicle to vehicle of the Chrysler brand,” the CEO says.

The Pacifica Keeps Its Name

One should also expect the Pacifica moniker to stay. “The Pacifica name carries a lot of value,” Feuell says. “At this point I don’t see a need to change that name with the evolution of a redefined minivan.”

“We are putting PHEV front and center in our marketing message now,” Feuell says, talking up the fact the Pacifica plug-in hybrid minivan has more than 30 miles of electric range, over 50 miles of the average range, and surpasses 500 miles of total range.

Minivan Manufacturing Plans

At the current moment, the Chrysler Pacifica is made in Windsor, Ontario. Before the recent inception of Jeep 4xe plug-ins, it was the only electric vehicle that was available in North America from the parent company, Stellantis.

It is expected that the Windsor plant will also make the fully electric Pacifica model when it’s time. This calculator is further enforced by Stellantis’s decision to back $4.1 billion in a joint venture battery cell plant with LG Energy Solution in Windsor. It’s also expected that a second EV will be added to the Windsor plant, specifically in 2024 when the battery plant is in working order.

Feuell, however, has not confirmed manufacturing plans for the Pacifica but does say that many plants will need to be retooled to make EVs as each of the 14 brands under Stellantis migrate to an electric vehicle lineup. Either way, there are definitely secure plans in the works for the Windsor plant, along with its number of vehicle options.

The Chrysler Pacifica, Jeep Grand Cherokee, and Ram 1500 Are Awarded For Giving You The Ultimate Satisfaction

The Capture 2021 AutoPacific Vehicle Satisfaction Awards

Last week in July, three vehicles from the Stellantis brand were honored as the winners of the 2021 AutoPacific Vehicle Satisfaction Awards, as they are seen as the most agreeable vehicles on the market according to consumer rating. The specific vehicles worth highlighting are the  Chrysler Pacifica, Jeep Grand Cherokee, and Ram 1500.

Even more so, the Chrysler Pacifica helped to tack on the award for Most Satisfying Minivan to its already impressive list of 155 acclamations and recognitions since its first inception. At the same time, the Jeep Grand Cherokee came out swinging as it peaked as the Most Satisfying Mid-size SUV/ORV. On top of this, Ram’s 1500 truck dominates as the Most Satisfying Full-size Pickup in the AutoPacific poll, which is the surveyor of over 89,000 new car and light truck owners.

“It’s definitely a grand accomplishment to see three of the iconic brands from Stellantis each take home AutoPacific Vehicle Satisfaction Awards for 2021,” said George Peterson, AutoPacific president. “The three models that were voted top in their class (Ram 1500, Jeep Grand Cherokee and Chrysler Pacifica) are clearly cherished and appreciated by the consumers.

“Families continue to realize that a minivan can be the best vehicle for daily, kid-filled runabouts and the Pacifica delivers with impressive braking and handling, sliding doors that allow for easy access to the second row, exterior styling, passenger roominess and overall comfort. Owners give high praise for the Ram 1500’s power and acceleration, soft ride, driver’s seat visibility, looks, braking, overall comfort, and clever cargo storage solutions. While the Grand Cherokee is an all-new model for the 2021 model year with a lucrative new three-row L taking the stage first, the previous generation Grand Cherokee is a renown trophy holder in AutoPacific’s VSAs, with consumers ranking it the most satisfying midsize SUV eight out of the nine past years.”

Chrysler Pacifica

Year after year, the Chrysler brand sets the standard for what one should expect out of a minivan, with fan-favorite Pacifica. This vehicle is the first in its segment to offer gasoline and hybrid powertrains. The automaker is also stepping up its game with the adding of a new top-tier Pinnacle model in the lineup, the offering of an all-wheel-drive system, class-exclusive Stow ‘n Go seats, more standard technologies than any other vehicle in the market, a new FamCAM, wireless charging, the latest Uconnect 5, a sport new look and plenty of conveniences and various storage spots all for the Pacifica 2021 model year. The Pacifica Hybrid provides over 80 miles per gallon equivalent (MPGe) when only driving with the electric charge. The fully electric range is over 30 miles and has a total range of more than 500 miles.

The Chrysler Pacifica continues to serve as the reigning champ as the minivan with the most awards five years in a row, with over 150 honors and industry accolades. It shouldn’t come as a shock that this automaker was the pioneer in introducing the minivan. Through six generations of this car, 116 first have been made, along with about 40 first-time features on the Pacifica. Since 1983, over 15 million minivans have been sold worldwide by the company, which is twice as much as any other manufacturer in over 37 years.

A Peek Inside The 2021 Chrysler Pacifica

While the automotive market is saturated with SUVs, crossovers, and minivans, the 2021 Chrysler Pacifica barely breaks a sweat when facing competition. Simply put, there is no room for comparison with this vehicle, as it always proves to have excellent powertrains, especially with the Pacifica Hybrid.

However, what really makes this an award-winning model is its family-friendliness in its interior features and comforts. Its innovative technology is catered towards adults and children in creating the best experience imaginable for all who are aboard. Here’s all the latest inside the 2021 Chrysler Pacifica.

Interior Necessities and Conveniences

For those who are used to sedans and small vehicles, or simply aren’t used to bringing along a big group to-and-from places, the Chrysler Pacifica may seem like a little piece of minivan heaven, especially with its ultra-modern technologies. An example of this would be the round dial, which replaces the ol’ timer transmission gear lever. This dial allows one to select either Park, Driver, Reverse, or more. The driver can even activate the parking brake with the click of a button.

The Pacifica can carry a maximum of eight occupants, but that’s dependent on whether you decide to opt for the second row’s 3-person bench, opposed to the pair of captain’s chairs. It’s also worth noting that the Hybrid model will only offer the captain’s chairs, but either way, the third row is very spacious for average-sized adults.

As with the second and third row, the front seating is highly comfortable. It also excels in its visibility, and even as a camera that allows parents to see what’s going on with their tiny tots in the back row. The infotainment system is featured on the brand’s latest 10.1-inch touchscreen and even has Amazon Alexa compatibility.

All Pacifica models are more than generous with their cargo space, as it starts at 32.3 cubic feet (with the seats up) and ends with a maximum of 140.5 (cubic feet). Additionally, the low step-in height and power-operated side doors allow for ease of access for each and every family member, even the furry ones.

Highlights

Stow ’n Go

Cargo space doesn’t just end behind the third row. While drivers in other minivan drivers grudgingly have to remove and store second-row seats manually, Pacifica buyers simply fold the seats right into the floor, and this applies to both the second and third row.

Uconnect 5

Another highlighting interior feature is the brand’s latest Uconnect 5 infotainment system, which you’ll find on the aforementioned 10.1-inch touchscreen. Not only does this system feature Amazon Alexa compatibility, but it has wireless Apple CarPlay and Android, TomTom navigation, and USB-C ports. Then, the SiriusXM 360L streaming/satellite radio system allows users to have access to back catalog material, and even Sirius XM exclusives, which encompass shows, interviews, events, and even sports programming.

Standard and Optional Features

The array of features don’t just stop there, standard excitements that you’ll find on any Pacifica include a powered tailgate, rain-sensing wipers, power-sliding side doors, 8-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, tri-zone automatic climate control, and (previously mentioned) a 10.1-inch infotainment touchscreen with Apple CarPlay/Android Auto smartphone integration.

If you want the best of what this mini-God has to offer, you’d naturally gravitate towards the highest-ranking Pinnacle trim. This model tacks on features like a self-parking system with a 360-degree camera array, rear-seat entertainment setup, vacuum cleaner, and a 115-volt outlet. Buyers of lower trims can also enjoy these gadgets, but of course, will have to order them as options.

It’s usually recommended to at least select the Touring L model since this encompasses not only the standard features but also goodies like sunshades for the second and third rows, perforated leather upholstery, and heated front seats. Finally, the Limited model adds a bit more style and flair with its Red S Appearance Package, which involves plush red leather upholstery.

2021 Chrysler Pacifica Pinnacle Review

The 2021 Chrysler Pacifica is the embodiment of everything you could possibly need in a minivan and more with its posh design, incredibly spacious interior, a comfortable ride and highly capable all-wheel-drive system.

The fairest of them all is the Pacifica Pinnacle, which involves most of the features that you would get on lesser trims as a standard, it’s also more advanced in its technologies and a bit in its design. This is no SUV, but we dare to say it’s no minivan either.

Style

Starting off, the latest and greatest Pacifica can easily be confused for an SUV because of its incredibly refined and sleek style. This is especially true on the Pinnacle trim that 2 pairs of 20-inch kicks.

The Pacifica Pinnacle model comes exclusively with deluxe caramel pleated leather in each of its three rows, with second-row captain’s chairs having correspondent loose lumbar cushions. It’s also worth noting that the seats in the middle-row are bigger than in the lesser models, however, it is because of this that the brand-famous Stow ‘n Go feature doesn’t apply.

Front-seat passengers will also enjoy their 8-way seat adjustment chair, while drivers will appreciate the lumbar support. The 10-inch touchscreen is very user-friendly, and can even be used to activate the seat heaters. There are also some buttons and knobs like the HVAC controls and rotary knob for the gear selector.

Performance

Driving this year’s Pacifica can prove to be quite tranquil, as the minivan is incredibly composed and has a natural steering feel, and this is regardless of driving straight or making sharp turns. At the same time, it somehow manages to engage those who have a preference for a more energetic drive. It has a vigorous throttle response and a powerful delivery than most would expect from a car from this class. Even though it’s technically not the quickest minivan out there, it still commands respect with its AWD, especially when tackling slippery surfaces from difficult weather conditions.

Technology

Chrysler’s newest Uconnect 5 infotainment systems has a slew of exciting features, such as Amazon Alexa functionality, over-the-air updates, 4G LTE hotspot, wireless CarPlay and Android Auto, and the FamCAM interior camera. Other available features encompass a rear-seat touch-screen entertainment system with built-in games and a built-in vacuum cleaner. On top of this, it has technologies geared to keep drivers and pedestrians safe, like forward-collision mitigation with emergency braking and pedestrian detection, blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, and a premium Safety Sphere Group.

Cargo

One advantage that minivans have over SUVs is their low flooring, the same rings true with the Pacifica, and this is despite the recent addition of AWD. As previously mentioned, the Pinnacle trim does not have the highlighting Stow ‘n Go feature, but that doesn’t mean that it can’t hold its own when it comes to maximizing cargo space. With the simple touch of a button, the third row can still be powered up or down. When the seats are up, the amount of cargo volume is at a solid 32.3 cubic feet of space, but when the seats are down, this quickly maximizes to 140.5 cubic feet, which no SUV can even come close to. Though competitors offer similar numbers, it requires taking the seats out.

Moreover, the tow rating is 3,600 lbs (1,633 kg), which is 220 lbs (100 kg) more than rivals like the Odyssey, Sienna, and Kia Sedona.

Chrysler Pacifica Is Crowned Winner For AutoGuide’s Family Vehicle of the Year for 2021

AutoGuide’s 2021 Family Vehicle of The Year

Car reviewer site, AutoGuide, recently gave the Chrysler Pacifica the honor of naming it as its 2021 Family Vehicle of the Year. This award is just one of many that this minivan has received throughout its short reign on the automotive market and only helps to maintain its status as the most awarded vehicle in its segment over the last five years.

The team at AutoGuide tested over 100 new 2021 models and assessed 34 finalists in six categories based on various capabilities, value, inventiveness, practicality, technology, safety, and more. The main theme in their judging criteria was “fitness for purpose”. The chosen vehicles didn’t just shine in their particular category, they raised the game in terms of what should be expected in a vehicle far beyond their own segment.

Additionally, judges at AutoGuide proclaimed that the Pacifica’s blend of practicality, safety, space, and style was unmatched, and edged it ahead of the other contenders.

“The Pacifica is the latest evolution of the origins of the species. This made-in-Canada people-mover carries the spirit of the original Caravan, loaded with practical, family-friendly features,” remarked AutoGuide Editor Kyle Patrick.

Contributing writer Matthew Guy, added this: “It invented the segment and continues to do so by offering (features) like Stow ‘N Go seating even on the all-wheel-drive model when its competitors can’t even figure out how to make their middle row of seats disappear.”

“All-wheel drive returned to the Pacifica menu this year, giving the Pacifica added foul-weather capability,” said Patrick. “Chrysler also added a lux Pinnacle model this year, which dials up the interior ambiance with creamy caramel leather. This year’s update also introduced a revised Uconnect 5 system. This 10.1-inch infotainment system builds on one of our favorite examples in the market, with crisper graphics, quicker responses, and the ability to create multiple user profiles.”

The 2021 Chrysler Pacifica is has been and continues to be unbeatable with its number of family-oriented features and technologies that encompass:

  • The brand new FamCAM technology is an interior camera that makes it possible for parents to monitor and even zoom in on their child or children in the rear, without even having to turn around.
  • Uconnect Theatre has built-in games and available Wi-Fi to keep their children from asking the dreaded “Are We There Yet” question…Speaking of which, this technology happens to have a game of the same moniker, as well as others like Concentration, chess, Chrysler Says, and backgammon.
  • The latest Uconnect 5 system offers a highlighting 10.1-inch touchscreen, the largest standard touchscreen in its class, along with (many more) connected services and excitements.
  • New and unique to its segment are USB Type C ports that charge devices up to four times faster than standard USB outlets, ensuring that each and every family member stays connected.
  • This vehicle continues to have more standard and available safety features than any vehicle in the automotive universe.
  • The Pacifica has available new all-wheel drive (AWD) to help tackle various types of weather conditions. Then in-house, the car has the fan-favorite Stow ‘n Go seat, which are second-row in-flow storage bins to aid in extra space for small items like toys, sports equipment, school supplies, and more.
  • Finally, the Stow ‘n Vac is the perfect solution for dealing with messes from the tiny-tots, as this small vacuum easily picks up dirt and debris.

The 2021 Chrysler Pacifica Is Featured On KBB’s Best Family Cars List

The 2021 Chrysler Pacifica is everyone’s favorite minivan due to its high-quality features, voguish design, and unique storage compartments. Stellantis proves that it doesn’t have to be a luxury automaker in order to provide premium quality, and it’s because of this, that the car continues to receive countless accolades and recognitions from various organizations. Last week, automotive research company Kelley Blue Book put this year’s Pacifica on its list of 12 Best Family Cars, citing that its “new range-topping Pinnacle model, newly available all-wheel drive, and an updated aesthetic” makes it a top player for family haulers.

2021 Upgrades

The Pacifica’s upgrades for its 2021 model year are pretty comprehensive from the inside and out, and that’s due to its revamped look. The latest design has a much better resemblance to an SUV than the ol’ station wagon that we were previously used to seeing in this segment. The new infotainment system also has a bigger screen, specifically 10.1 inches. This Chrysler minivan also leads with the most amount of standard safety features, such as forward-collision warning and automatic emergency braking. The top-tier Pinnacle trim encompasses features like quilted caramel Nappa leather seats, a suede headliner, as well as second-row lumbar support pillows.

One of the best highlighting features of the Chrysler Pacifica is the implementation of available AWD. At one point, the Toyota Sienna was the only minivan that had this drive option. However, with the Pacifica, there is more confidence with the drive and traction during difficult weather conditions. Additionally, AWD is standard on the Limited and Pinnacle trims, while optional on the Touring and Touring L models.

Best Features

The 2021 Pacifica minivan has quite a few toys and goodies that are exclusive to the brand, with one of the most significant ones being the available Stow n’ Go seating. This storage feature is implemented in both the second and third-row seats, seamlessly folding into the floor. The Stow ‘n Go does not require any tools or the inconvenient removal of seats. This van gives families the versatility that they need for juggling various activities or on a road trip.

Some other cool features in the Pacifica involve a built-in Stow n’ Vac cleaner, the Uconnect Theater rear entertainment system, and the athletic S Appearance Package. The S Appearance Package gifts drivers with stylish black wheels, all-black badging and accents, and unique seats.

Plug-In Variant

At the current moment, the Chrysler Pacifica retains its status as the only plug-in hybrid minivan in the automotive world. Essentially, the car is powered by both a gasoline and electric motor that joins forces in making a highly effective minivan. The Pacifica Hybrid has a combined rating of 82 MPGe by the EPA and has a driving range up to 32 miles, on electricity alone. Once the battery runs out, the van will still run 30 combined mph, which is considered great for a vehicle of this size. For those who have a bit of hesitancy about the solidness of plug-ins, this vehicle’s battery includes a limited warranty that reaches up to 10-years/100,000miles. However, it is important to know that the Hybrid model doesn’t come with Stow ‘n Go seating or AWD.

But Is It Worth It?

The 2021 Chrysler Pacifica may be considered a bit pricey as opposed to other models in its segment, but one must take into account all of the features that come with the minivan. However, if that still isn’t enough, there is an entry-level version called the Chrysler Voyager, which has a starting price below $30,000, (plus destination fee).  Otherwise, the price ranges from about $35,000, (plus destination fee) for the base Touring model to a bit over $53,000, (plus destination fee) for the Pinnacle AWD trim. The Hybrid minivan has a starting price of roughly $40,000, (plus destination fee) that can reach up to nearly $51,000, (plus destination fee).

2021 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid Gets Its Props From Good Housekeeping For Best Hybrid Minivan

The 2021 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid Gains Another Award

Last week, we discussed how the Chrysler Pacifica won PARENTS magazine Best Family Car for 2021. This week, it appears that the minivan has already snagged yet another award for its 2021 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid model. This automotive win marks the fourth consecutive honor from Good Housekeeping for the beloved family vehicle, which makes it the most awarded car in its segment for the last five years.

In total, Good Housekeeping selected eight vehicles for Best New Hybrid Cars for 2021, with Pacifica standing out for its intuitive features and roomy interior. The full list is shown on the lifestyle website’s page at GoodHousekeeping.com.

In order to determine the best hybrid makes and models, the Good Housekeeping Institute (GHI) went through many hours and thousands of miles of vehicle testing until it narrowed down its contenders. Once the top qualifiers were selected, Good Housekeeping sought the assistance of their friends at Car and Driver to access notes regarding performance and other features in order to make their final resolutions.

For the minivan segment, the Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid is the first hybrid vehicle to enter the market and is currently the only plug-in hybrid minivan. This car provides over more than 80 miles per gallon equivalent (MPGe), a fully electrified range of over 30 miles and a total range of over 500 miles.

The Hybrid minivan involves an inventive dual-motor eFlite electrically variable transmission (EVT) joined with a specially reformed version of the 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6 gasoline engine that provides peace of mind to customers who otherwise might be worried about having enough range. This family-friendly vehicle is made to bring a harmonious driving experience and doesn’t require the driver to manually shift between electric and hybrid modes.

One of the reasons the Pacifica Hybrid continues to be a fan-favorite among families is because it has more than 100 standard and available safety features, which make way for child seats to fit in each of the second-row captain’s chairs, alongside two extra child seats in the third section. This seven-passenger minivan encompasses a highly developed entertainment system that has available Uconnect Theater. This technological system comprises two 10.1-inch seatback touchscreens, children can use this to watch and stream videos and have 13 built-in games to choose from, like Are We There Yet?, the License Plate Game, Concentration, and chess.

Chrysler’s Pacifica Hybrid has been called the most versatile and accommodating plug-in hybrid on the market, as the minivan can lodge up to seven passengers, with second-row captain’s chairs and has its highlighting third-row Stow ‘n Go seating, for extra storage space. Added functionality includes hands-free sliding doors and a liftgate.

PARENTS Magazine Honors The Chrysler Pacifica In Its List of Best Family Cars for 2021

PARENTS Magazine

The highly-esteemed Chrysler Pacifica can add yet another award to its extensive collection of accolades. PARENTS magazine, an American monthly magazine, recently gave the minivan the honor of Best Family Car for 2021. The magazine, published by Meredith Corporation, is the leading source for millennial mommies on the go, and recognized Chrysler’s vehicle as an excellent tool for parents. For the past five years, the Pacifica has been the most awarded car in its segment, totaling up to 145 distinctions and industry awards since its debut.

The positive exposure for the automaker in PARENTS Best Family Cars will be mentioned in the May issue of the publication’s magazine, as well as their website,  Parents.com/bestcars.

This isn’t the first time that PARENTS have given the Pacifica some props. In 2020, the Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid was chosen as the publication’s “Best Eco Pick,” since at the time it held the title as the first and only plug-in hybrid minivan (until the Toyota Sienna for their 2021 model year).

Vehicles that are recognized from the Best Family Cars were selected out of new models that excel in numerous categories such as advancements in technology, safety, and comfort features that are suitable to a particular needs of a family. These features can be encompassed in not just minivans, but three-row SUVs, two-row SUVs, as well as family sedans. In the process of vetting this year’s honorees, experts of PARENTS meticulously tested over 50 vehicles from a list of new models that passed with flying colors in the industry safety tests. In the end, 24 vehicles that were up to par with drive standards and car-seat propriety, and made to be safe and harmonious with families made the cut on PARENTS Best Family Cars 2021 list.

Features that families can look forward to in the 2021 Chrysler Pacifica include:

  • The latest FamCAM, which is an in-house camera that gives parents the ability to view their child/children in their seats and even zoom in on them.
  • Miniature rear seat occupants will enjoy the Uconnect Theater, as it has built-in games and available Wi-Fi, as well as four new games like Concentration, chess, Chrysler Says, and backgammon.
  • Chrysler’s Uconnect 5 system features a 10.1-inch touchscreen, which is the largest standard touchscreen in its class. It also has a long list of connected services and conveniences.
  • New to the segment are USB Type C ports that have the ability to charge devices four times faster than standard outlets.
  • A newly available all-wheel-drive (AWD) system is able to a variety of different weather conditions, which adds to the great deal of safety features in the car.
  • There are multiple storage compartments in the Pacifica, especially thanks to the highlighting Stow ‘n Go second-row in-floor storage bins, which provide extra space for items like toys, textbooks, groceries, etcetera. There is also Stow ‘n Go seating, which allows owners to manually remove and store second-row seats. On top of this, the Stow ‘n Vac is perfect for cleaning up any messes made by the tiny tots.

Miami Lakes Chrysler

The 2021 Chrysler Pacifica is the defending champ with the most standard safety features in the automotive market, with technologies such as automated emergency braking with pedestrian detection, blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, and adaptive cruise control and lane-departure warning.

Miami Lakes Automall is selling this minivan for around $40,000, (plus destination fee). Those who are interested in this model or any of our other vehicles can simply view our online new car inventory chat with a representative for further assistance.

All The Ways That The 2021 Chrysler Pacifica Is Simply Endearing

The Chrysler Pacifica minivan first arrived onto the automotive scene in 2017 when it acted as a replacement for the brand’s outgoing Town and Country model. From there on, it’s practically taken over the minivan world with its incredible family-friendly accommodations, convenience features, and novel all-wheel-drive capabilities. This multi-award-winning model came back swinging for its 2021 model year, with several nifties like an updated Uconnect system, high-quality drive and handling features, and even more standard safety features. Here are All The Ways That The 2021 Chrysler Pacifica Is Simply Endearing.

Comfortable Seating

9 times out of 10, most people don’t get a minivan just for its looks, and while the 2021 Pacifica minivan is quite a stunner, most buyers usually purchase the vehicle in order to lodge big families, especially on holiday road trips. The seating for this minivan is known for being quite comfortable, and even more so for drivers, as the handling and activeness is just as adept as a sedan. The Pacifica also proves itself to be quite capable when tackling any faults on the highway.

Nine-Speeder

The Pacifica has never disappointed in its power, as it’s always been quite lavish when giving drivers that extra needed push while getting around the grannies on the freeway. The 2021 model is charged by a 3.6-liter V-6 engine that has an excellent output of 287 horsepower. What has received a significant improvement is the automaker’s 9-speed automatic transmission, which previously received backlash from its unstable shifting, but has since appeared to have found its minivan legs.

Thriving AWD

Until the copycat Toyota Sienna introduced its all-wheel-drive system, the Chrysler Pacifica was the only vehicle in its segment to include this driving feature. Even though there is a bit of competition in this department, many car reviewers still consider the Pacifica to have the best quality.

Uconnect’s With You

Chrysler is quite generous when it comes to convenience features, but none more than its highlighting Uconnect 5 infotainment system. This technology is built-in on all of the parent company, Stellantis’s, car brands such as Dodge, Jeep, Ram and FIAT, but none more than Chrysler’s Pacifica minivan. Recent advancements for the Uconnect 5 involve improved personalization for user profiles, a bigger 10.1-inch display, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone connectivity, and Amazon Alexa integration.

Eyes In The Back Of Mom’s Head

The Pacifica’s FamCam system allows for parents to monitor their children without even having to turn around. While this technology probably won’t be considered much of a treat for the tiny-tots, it helps increase safety, especially when making sure that everyone is buckled in or that no one is left behind in a hot car.

Plenty Of Indulgences

The reason why the Pacifica is preferred by families is due to its great resourcefulness and adaptability, with advantages like Stow ‘n Go seating, second-row vacuum, three-row reclining seats, and even USB’s throughout the car.

Safety First!

One of the best reasons why the Chrysler Pacifica is the most ideal candidate for families is the most adept in both the quality and quantity of safety features. Standard safety technologies encompass automated emergency braking with pedestrian detection, blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, adaptive cruise control and lane-departure warning. Moreover, the car’s excellent track record of keeping passengers secure has been proven by its five-star rating from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA).

Stellantis Vehicles Get Major Props From Hispanic Motor Press

The multinational automaker, Stellantis recently got some major brownie points during the 11th annual Hispanic Motor Press Awards (HMPA) at the AutoMobility LA Virtual Media Day with the Motor Press Guild (MPG) in Los Angeles.

The 2021 Dodge Challenger, which is considered to be the quickest and most thunderous muscle car, was awarded Sports Car of the Year. In 2015, the automaker’s Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat also received these accolades.

“The Challenger SRT still embodies the spirit of the original 1970s car,” said Ricardo Rodríguez-Long, president and founder of the Hispanic Motor Press Foundation. “The Dodge Challenger, in all its V-8 forms, is the best current example of what a true American sports car is about. The most powerful and fastest machine at the lights, pressing the throttle pedal to the floor is a unique experience. Just add a white T-shirt, jeans and you will be ‘cool’ from central Michigan to Pomona.”

America’s favorite minivan, the 2021 Chrysler Pacifica, became the first vehicle in its segment to offer both gas and hybrid powertrains. These efforts were proved to not be in vain, as it received the Family Car of the Year, which was also won by 2018 by the gasoline engine and 2017 by the hybrid.

“Hispanic families need spacious accommodations and the Pacifica offers that in style and with many tech amenities,” said Rodríguez-Long. “We found it to be very smooth on the road and capable around traffic and long trips. Being a former winner, it shows that Chrysler really understands what families need when transporting their family.”

Since its debut, the 2021 Ram 1500 TRX has also been named Adventure Car of the Year.

“Today, we are living a much more active lifestyle, which includes weekends,” said Rodríguez-Long. “The Ram TRX is capable of taking you to unusual locations to experience the outdoors in a very different way. Before, you had to endure the trip to enjoy a particular place. Now the experience is getting there with over 700 horses galloping under your control. Without doubt that becomes an adventure in itself.”

Over 20 automotive experts at the foundation were there to determine the top 10 best new vehicles for Hispanic families. The panel selected one model from each category that exhibits the best value in the market for its particular clientele. Worthiness was established based on design, driving satisfaction, technology, safety, environmental impact, mechanical reliability, and value.

2021 Dodge Challenger

The record-breaking Dodge Challenger SRT Demon will continue to be a limited-production model for a year. The Dodge Challenger SRT Super Stock, which was an influence of the SRT Demon, is the guiding light of the Challenger lineup, outpacing its rivals in the traditional horsepower bloodsheds.

2021 Chrysler Pacifica

The 2021 Chrysler Pacifica continues to set the standard for minivans by offering the most standard features of any of its class, as well as being the pioneer of offering both gas and hybrid powertrains. Then, with its top-tier Pinnacle trim, it has unmatchable features, a new FamCAM interior camera, wireless charging, next-generation Uconnect5 connectivity, a sporty design, and plenty of comforts that everyone can enjoy.

2021 Ram 1500

The 2021 Ram 1500 is a no-nonsense truck when it comes to stability, technology, effectiveness, performance and convenience, also encompassing features that are unique to this pickup. The pick-up compromises up to 12,750 pounds of towing capability and 2,300 pounds of payload. The eTorque mild hybrid system has advanced in its fuel efficiency for its standard V-6 engine, as well as its V-8. Additionally, the diesel variant is unmatched with 33 mpg on the highway, providing up to 1,000 miles of range on just a single tank of fuel.
