The Chrysler Family Welcomes New CEO, Christine Feuell To The Team

Welcome To The Team Christine!

Look out Chrysler family, because there’s a new head honcho in charge! The brand known for its award-winning Pacifica minivan is getting new leadership this month. Stellantis, which is the company that was created as a result of the merger with Fiat Chrysler Automobiles and Peugeot maker PSA Group this year in January, was revealed last Tuesday (September 6) that Christine Feuell will become CEO of the Chrysler brand, commencing immediately today.

Feuell has previously held positions at the multinational conglomerate company, Honeywell, as well as Ford Motors. It was at the former, where she performed as the chief commercial officer at Honeywell Safety and Productivity Solutions, as said by Stellantis in a press release. She is set to report to Stellantis CEO Carlos Tavares.

“Christine heading Chrysler is great news for Stellantis, and I’m convinced that she will play an integral and strategic role in setting the new impetus and direction for this iconic brand and unleash its great potential,” Tavares said in the release.

As previously stated, in conjunction with her time at Honeywell, Feuell spent 14 years at Ford, with her last position being the director of global marketing strategy from 2008 to 2009, as stated from her LinkedIn profile. On top of this, she also held a position for four years at Adient, Johnson Controls.

The Stellantis company says that Feuell has accomplished progressive responsibilities in sales, marketing, product management, and profit and loss leadership at her previous companies, “with a strong track record of delivering profitable growth through integrated products, software and services. Her extensive expertise in building and developing advanced product, marketing and business model strategies will benefit the Chrysler brand to deliver customer-centric insights and innovative solutions.”

This selection of what the automaker believes to be a leader that is dedicated for the Chrysler brand just may be what is needed for its uncertain future. While Tavares has made a commitment to allow each of Stellantis’s brands to prove themselves for over a set period of time, Chrysler, which used to be a big name in the automotive world, has had hardly any product in the recent years. Specifically, the brand main selling point is the Pacifica minivan, with the 300 sedan hanging by a thread. While these cars are great, and the Pacifica is ranked highly in its segment, the exposure is still not the same as other brands of the parent company like Ram, Jeep, or Dodge.

Interestingly enough, Chrysler was previously the only brand among the 14 other brands of Stellantis, as well as the only North American brand (like Jeep, Dodge, and Ram) that didn’t have an elected leader after the merger between Fiat Chrysler Automobiles NV and the French company Groupe. Tim Kuniskis, CEO of Dodge took the role as an interim position.

The addition of Feuell to the team comes after Tavares announced earlier this year that each of the 14 brands will get funding by Stellantis for the next decade to prove their worth, particularly since there are a large number of brands within the company.

Big Changes For The 2022 Chrysler Voyager and Pacifica

It’s no secret that SUVs have taken over the car market in recent years, giving sedans and coupes a run for their money. However, what some may not realize is that minivans are nearly just as popular these days, particularly this year, as it’s become among the most prominent vehicles sold in the American market this year. This is somewhat expected, given that automakers have stepped up their game and have transformed your granny’s ol’ station wagon to the charming and opulent cottage on wheels.

One automaker in particular always sets the standard of what it means to be a luxurious minivan is Chrysler, with its Pacifica. It’s known for being filled with a plethora of entertainment and features, incredible storage space and functionality, along with having an hybrid powertrain option.

For 2022, the Chrysler company is making considerable changes to its 2022 Pacifica car, together with the 2022 Voyager (an entry-level version of the Pacifica). Don’t expect just another nip-and-tuck…expect so much more.

The One That Got Away…Sort Of

The 2022 Chrysler Voyager is going off the market…but we’re not talking about retirement. The manufacturer has decided to use this upcoming minivan as a fleet vehicle. This time, us commoners won’t be the main buyer of this car, instead, it will be rental car companies and oehr commercial fleet operators. The lucky drivers of these new fleets will revel in the LX’s (the only trim level) power-sliding doors, heated seats, and a heated steering wheel. There is even an available package option that tacks on automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitors, parking sensors, and turn-by-turn navigation.

Additional Entertainment Options On

As previously mentioned, the Voyager is considered to be an entry-level version of the Pacifica, so it shouldn’t be considered a huge loss to the automotive market, just the discount shoppers. Besides, there’s no need to fear, because the manufacturer is making up for this “loss” by adding on more entertainment options to its beloved 2022 Pacifica.

While pricing for this minivan has not been revealed yet, it is expected that it won’t stray too far from this year’s model stick price, which begins at $35,820, (plus destination fee).

The Pacifica will involve optional all-wheel-drive (AWD) as an enticing feature against the strand front-wheel-drive (FWD). The aforementioned plug-in hybrid is also adept as an electric vehicle for the first 32 miles.

Then, buyers are rewarded with new games and prizes…optional of course. The highlighting features are the two Uconnect Theater packages, one of which has a single screen, and the other which has two. These packages both include Amazon Fire Tv capability. On top of this, the central touchscreen in the front will show video content while the car is parked.

Other developments are still exciting, just aren’t as big, as the new exterior color options and augmented display, which displays the status of the hybrid’s battery.

The Best Family Features of The 2021 Chrysler Pacifica

It doesn’t matter if you’re dropping off the kids at school, rushing to accomplish various tasks, or even cruising off to that highly-anticipated family road trip, you need a vehicle that is best suited to accommodate the needs of you and your family. The Chrysler Pacifica isn’t just a number when it comes to a vehicle in its segment, it’s is an award-winning minivan that is pregnant with family-centered features such as its interior Fam-Cam, Uconnect 5 infotainment system, and more legroom than you can imagine. Let’s explore its 3 Top Family Features of The 2021 Chrysler Pacifica!

Adaptable Interior

There is virtually no other vehicle in the car market that can even scratch the surface of what the Pacifica can do, specifically regarding its versatility. This rolling lodge can fit up to a maximum of 8 occupants (depending on whether or not the buyer opts for captain’s chairs), while also allowing for over 240 seat arrangements, which can enable one to transport items of various sizes. While most minivans require removing the seats to make room for extra storage, the Pacifica simply necessitates folding the second and third-row seats down and storing them inside the vehicle’s floor.

Concerning access to the third row, the 2021 Chrysler car also rises above the competition, as the second-row seats tilt as far as you would like them to, even if a child’s safety seat is still attached. Additionally, the Pacifica doesn’t sacrifice practicality with style, with the diesel gray stitching on the black seats, as part of the available S Appearance Package. Then, with the Red S Package, buyers will get plush seats along with Rodeo Red trim. No other vehicle can top these aspects, especially with the integrated vacuum cleaner.

State-Of-The-Art Entertainment Technologies

Never again will parents have to worry about hearing their teens ask the question “Are we there yet?” because the automaker has created a feature naming it after that interrogative response. How it works is that passengers in the second row launch this app and input a destination to the navigation system in order to the remaining distance and arrival time, and while they’re waiting…The Pacifica is filled with conveniences and comforts like the available Uconnect Theater, which has two 10-inch HD touchscreens, in which the kids can enjoy their favorite movies using the Blu-ray player. On top of this, the vehicle has Wireless streaming, headphones, a Bluetooth remote, and built-in apps for each and every trim.

But wait, there’s more! The allocated vehicle also comes with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration on the updated Uconnect 5 infotainment system. This system also allows drivers to make hands-free phone calls and texts, have access to playlists and podcasts, with the Harmon Kardon audio augmenting the entire experience. Then, the available 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot allows up to 8 people to stay connected, no matter where they are.

Safety Features

As great as all of these amenities are, none are more important or even advanced than Pacifica’s safety features. One of the highlighting technologies is the standard lane-departure warning, which senses when the vehicle is drifting and enables corrective steering. Then, blind-spot monitoring alerts drivers when another vehicle is crossing into their blind-spot zones, which makes it easier and safer to change lanes.

Moreover, rear cross-traffic detection warns drivers if there is a vehicle or pedestrian approaching. Adaptive cruise control also lets the driver set his or her preferred cruise speed while maintaining a distance from other vehicles deemed safe and reasonable, plus, it will bring the car to a complete stop if necessary. Other safety technologies involve forward collision warning, a surround-view camera, and parking assistance.

The 2021 Chrysler Pacifica and 2021 Jeep Wrangler Make It To Autotraders List of Best Cars For Dog Lovers

For the third year in a row, car site, online car marketplace, Autotrader is acknowledging the 2021 Chrysler Pacifica and 2021 Jeep Wrangler by putting them on their list of 10 Best Cars for Dog Lovers.

This honor was given this week, on Aug, 23, as Autotrader revealed its list for 10 Best Cars for Dog Lovers. Since there are many families who prefer to travel by road during their vacation, the online retailer is ever helpful to owners who are looking for a car that provides comfort, durability, and overall convenience for their family members, and their hairier ones.

“Dog lovers tend to bring their furry buddies everywhere with them, so it’s a real decision-making factor for many shoppers when they are considering which new car to buy,” said Brian Moody, executive editor for Autotrader. “Whether you tend to bring your pet along for everyday errand running or you regularly take your dog on long trips, it’s important to consider your canine companion and which related features are important to you while car shopping.”

The Pacifica minivan isn’t too shy when it comes to recognitions such as these. In fact, this Chrysler vehicle is actually the most awarded minivan over the last five years with more than 155 honors and industry accolades. Likely contributing to this factor is the brand’s unique Stow ‘n Go seating, which enables seats to fold into the floor to increase storage space, thus more room for your pet-friendly essentials. Extra features for your furry friend includes the FamCam interior camera, which lets occupants in the front seat monitor happenings in the rear, and even zooms in if they desire.

Then, the fun and fabulous Jeep Wrangler isn’t just the bee’s knees when it comes to off-roading, it’s also the preferred choice for pet lovers. This is due to available features such as the Sky One-Touch Power-Top and the new Sunrider Flip Top for Hardtop, which allows drivers and their four-legged critters to enjoy the fresh air whenever they’d like. However, for owners who prefer something a bit more tranquil, Stellantis is offering its first electric 49-MPGe Jeep Wrangler 4xe, which has even more off-roading capabilities but without the off-roading noise. On top of this, new for this year are even more Wrangler trucks to choose from, including the latest Jeep Wrangler 392 and Xtreme Recon Package with 35-inch tires coming hot off the press.

Mopar, the parts, service and customer care division of Chrysler has accessories available to act as a companion of these accommodating features of both the Pacifica and the Wrangler. Pet owners can select equipment ranging from a lightweight Mopar pet kennel to all-weather floor mats and cargo mats.

Chrysler Is Still Alive and Electrified

Last month (July 2021), Stellantis hosted Electric Vehicle Day, and it was during this event where they presented a thorough electrification strategy. Class-leading vehicles were also showcased, like the electric Ram 1500,  Jeep Grand Cherokee plug-in hybrid, and electric Dodge muscle car. The automaker also made sure not to leave its wild-card subsidiary out, the Chrysler brand.

The multinational automaker gave viewers on the webisode a sneak peek at their plans with some images of their Chrysler premium EV concept that is constructed upon the group’s STLA Large platform, while also detailing some of its plans.

At the current moment, Chrysler only has a trickle of models available in the North American market, such as the award-winning Pacifica minivan and the iconic 300 sedan. However, Stellantis’s CEO, Carlos Tavares commented earlier this year that the subsidiary would play a significant role in the manufacturer’s portfolio from this time on.

For quite some time, Stellantis has been constructing an SUV-shaped vehicle, deriving a bit from cars such as the Java and Portal concepts. From the outside looking in, it seems that there is some promise for Chrysler’s future, which we can thank the parent company’s announced electric revamp.

The electric contraption, which was introduced by Chrysler’s Chief Design Officer Ralph Gilles, seems like the vehicle is already in pre-production rather than a simple design piece, which could mean that the wait for this vehicle may not be that long from an official reveal and eventual release.

Its long and thin LED headlights interlocking with a top grille and Chrysler wing was an athletic look to it, while the larger lowered grille hardly looks like a grille at all and more like a visual piece.

The side view has a hint of intensity and a sporty touch, with certain features like the floating roof design, fused door handles, and large, two-toned wheels. We don’t see much of anything from the rear, but we can deduce that there is a sloped back end and horizontal tail light lights, which are tasteful choices. Gilles said that Stellantis design studios have been working on the STLA Large platform and the cars derived from it for quite some time.

Moving indoors, we see high-tech this and multimedia that, even more so with the number of digital displays. The center dashboard is the largest of all fixed devices, corresponding with the fully digital instrument panel placed behind the steering wheel. Passengers in both the front and rear will have large screens at their disposal. Extra features in the front include a rotary shifter, dual cup holders, a flat bottom, and top steering wheel, a steering wheel with flattened top and bottom, as well as contoured seats.

We’ve also learned that the vehicles on the STLA Large platform will have batteries that range from 101 to 118 kWh. It’s estimated that the range will reach up to 500 miles in the ideal scenario. This platform will also be compatible with two electric drive modules or EDM, with one having outputs that range from 125 to 180 kW, while the other ranges from 150 to 330 kW.

When Will We See The Production Model?

We still don’t know about a specific release date. On the other hand, the company did make a declaration that in the year 2024, we should expect a major electric revolution. If this Chrysler model is released, it may get the moniker ATLANTIC, since Stellantis filed a trademark for the application name in 2020, which is still pending.

Miami Lakes Chrysler

While Chrysler still may have ways to go before its concept finally makes it to dealerships, the company still has its incredible Pacifica Hybrid at its disposal, which you can purchase at Miami Lakes Automall.

The Chrysler Pacifica, Jeep Grand Cherokee, and Ram 1500 Are Awarded For Giving You The Ultimate Satisfaction

The Capture 2021 AutoPacific Vehicle Satisfaction Awards

Last week in July, three vehicles from the Stellantis brand were honored as the winners of the 2021 AutoPacific Vehicle Satisfaction Awards, as they are seen as the most agreeable vehicles on the market according to consumer rating. The specific vehicles worth highlighting are the  Chrysler Pacifica, Jeep Grand Cherokee, and Ram 1500.

Even more so, the Chrysler Pacifica helped to tack on the award for Most Satisfying Minivan to its already impressive list of 155 acclamations and recognitions since its first inception. At the same time, the Jeep Grand Cherokee came out swinging as it peaked as the Most Satisfying Mid-size SUV/ORV. On top of this, Ram’s 1500 truck dominates as the Most Satisfying Full-size Pickup in the AutoPacific poll, which is the surveyor of over 89,000 new car and light truck owners.

“It’s definitely a grand accomplishment to see three of the iconic brands from Stellantis each take home AutoPacific Vehicle Satisfaction Awards for 2021,” said George Peterson, AutoPacific president. “The three models that were voted top in their class (Ram 1500, Jeep Grand Cherokee and Chrysler Pacifica) are clearly cherished and appreciated by the consumers.

“Families continue to realize that a minivan can be the best vehicle for daily, kid-filled runabouts and the Pacifica delivers with impressive braking and handling, sliding doors that allow for easy access to the second row, exterior styling, passenger roominess and overall comfort. Owners give high praise for the Ram 1500’s power and acceleration, soft ride, driver’s seat visibility, looks, braking, overall comfort, and clever cargo storage solutions. While the Grand Cherokee is an all-new model for the 2021 model year with a lucrative new three-row L taking the stage first, the previous generation Grand Cherokee is a renown trophy holder in AutoPacific’s VSAs, with consumers ranking it the most satisfying midsize SUV eight out of the nine past years.”

Chrysler Pacifica

Year after year, the Chrysler brand sets the standard for what one should expect out of a minivan, with fan-favorite Pacifica. This vehicle is the first in its segment to offer gasoline and hybrid powertrains. The automaker is also stepping up its game with the adding of a new top-tier Pinnacle model in the lineup, the offering of an all-wheel-drive system, class-exclusive Stow ‘n Go seats, more standard technologies than any other vehicle in the market, a new FamCAM, wireless charging, the latest Uconnect 5, a sport new look and plenty of conveniences and various storage spots all for the Pacifica 2021 model year. The Pacifica Hybrid provides over 80 miles per gallon equivalent (MPGe) when only driving with the electric charge. The fully electric range is over 30 miles and has a total range of more than 500 miles.

The Chrysler Pacifica continues to serve as the reigning champ as the minivan with the most awards five years in a row, with over 150 honors and industry accolades. It shouldn’t come as a shock that this automaker was the pioneer in introducing the minivan. Through six generations of this car, 116 first have been made, along with about 40 first-time features on the Pacifica. Since 1983, over 15 million minivans have been sold worldwide by the company, which is twice as much as any other manufacturer in over 37 years.

The Stellantis Company Is Finally Getting Its First EV Plant

Stellantis EV Plant

The Stellantis company, which was recently formed due to the merging of FCA and PSA, won’t have to wait too long for the production base reserved solely for electric vehicles, following the footsteps of other European car manufacturers that have made moves in setting up production hubs reserved for battery-EVs. The car company aims to commit its factory in the UK’s Ellesmere Port to electric LCVs (light commercial vehicles) along with passenger electrics. This plant is meant to construct models under the following brands: Opel, Vauxhall, Citroën, and Peugeot.

The car maker intends to invest £100 million ($138 million) in the facility with the first models scheduled to leave the factory later in 2021, with versions for passenger and commercial vehicles on the way. The plant will also get a new body shop, an on-site battery-pack assembly facility, and an augmented general assembly. Additionally, the plant is expected to become carbon-neutral by the middle of the current decade.

“Performance is always the trigger for sustainability, and this £100million investment demonstrates our commitment to the UK and to Ellesmere Port,” said Carlos Tavares, CEO at Stellantis. “I particularly want to thank our highly skilled, dedicated workforce for their patience and contribution; we never let them down. Equally, I want to thank our partners the Unite Union for their open mind set and strong cooperation and, of course, the UK government for their continued support. Producing battery electric vehicles here will support clean, safe, and affordable mobility for the citizens. Since 1903 Vauxhall has manufactured vehicles in Britain and we will continue to do so.”

Stellantis is set to turn to more of PSA’s recent architecture, so it’s certainly plausible that we see varieties of electric models from PSA stateside in the years to come. This is because there are no actual battery-electric offerings from FCA on the automotive consciousness for the time being, while PSA has an expanding lineup of battery-electrics from Peugeot and Citroën. The European part of FCA’s lineup is aimed to benefit from the technologies of the EV rolled out by the two French automakers, with a good deal of models coming to dealership lots soon.

In regards to light commercial vehicles, the Ellesmere Port plant will assemble battery-electric editions of the Opel and Vauxhall Combo-e and its passenger variant, along with the Citroën e-Berlingo, as well as its passenger version, and the Peugeot e-Partner with a passenger model of its own.

The plant, which was launched in 1962, manufactured Vauxhall and Opel vehicles in the early days under the ownership of General Motors, beginning with the Vauxhall Viva in 1964, and was obtained by French automaker PSA only a few years ago alongside the two closely knit brands. Vauxhall itself reaches all the way back to 1903, while Opel is even more ancient and has been owned by General Motors since the late 1920s, making a few showings stateside, while Vauxhall got a bit of limelight in Canada in the previous decades. Opel had been matched closely with Vauxhall for nearly all of its tenure with General Motors, until both were brought on by PSA in 2017.

Miami Lakes Chrysler

Speaking of electric vehicles, Miami Lakes Automall has the incredible and dynamic 2021 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid minivan in its possession. It’s filled with plenty of family-friendly technologies and has plenty of cargo space to work with, not to mention that its dual electric motors are responsible for helping you save gas.

Everything There Is To Know About The 2021 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid

The Chrysler company has given its family-centered Pacifica minivan a complete refashioning for the 2021 model year. Starting things off with a fresh exterior design that resembles a bit more like an SUV rather than a big ol’ station wagon. Other exterior features like the grille, lighting elements, rear liftgate, and styling on the wheels have also been given revisions of their own. There is also an available all-wheel-drive system. In the same way, some of the older models will have this driving mechanism as an option. In any case, the most considerable change will come from the mechanics. On top of this, the Pacifica’s hybrid powertrain makes moves on the city streets, and shows no signs of slowing down.

The Electric Drive

The Pacifica Hybrid keeps its 3.6-liter V6 but fuses it with dual electric motors. The engine also pairs with a 9-speed automatic ZF transmission. The vehicle produces a total output of 260 horsepower. Owing to the electric motors backed by 16-kWh lithium-ion battery, the total power output reaches up to an excellent 287 horsepower. The almost-SUV can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 3.7 seconds, and it’s because of these figures, the minivan outranks its predecessor in terms of its speed. Luckily, the eco-friendly makeup of the car doesn’t require that it skimps out of its power.

The Hybrid SUV also prospers with its fuel economy number, as has 30 mpg for the EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) and then 82 MPe for the highway combined fuel economy. This Chrysler can journey up to 32 miles on electricity alone, before the gasoline engine kicks, providing a total range of 520 miles. However, the automaker has mentioned that these numbers can change with factors like the temperature and humidity levels affecting the numerous aspects of the car.

Convenient Design

From the inside-out, the 2021 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid flaunts a new look. From the nose, the grille is enlarged, with the remolded LED headlights including more of a boxy-shaped appearance. The square air inlet slides down a bit and spaced out to make the whole front area appear even boxier, muscular, and even proportional. Then the rear, the taillight extends from edge to edge.

The only downside is that this particular hybrid model is a 7-seater rather than an 8-seater, nevertheless, the vehicle remains one of the most spacious that you’ve ever been in, making it a no-brainer for families. The cargo space also doesn’t disappoint with 32.3 cubic-feet with the seats up and 87.5 the last row down, then even more so with 140.5 cubic-feet with the chairs in the second row collapsed. Moreover, the car has plenty of compartments to work with, including a new one under the center console.

In spite of the extra weight with 7 passengers and cargo, the 121.6-inch wheelbase makes the Pacifica easy to control. The adjustable strut and trailer trailing-arm suspensions at the front and rear wheels further enhance the stability.

Ultra Modern Interior Tech Features

Believe it or not, the interior is much more than its comfort or even its cargo, as it’s well-equipped with a plethora of upscale safety and entertainment technologies. A few fan-favorites include the newest Uconnect 5 infotainment system with restyled 10.1-inch screen. This system has the ability to receive over-the-air updates and has wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

In truth, most of the in-car features can run wirelessly, alongside with Wi-Fi hotspot that adds just a bit more comfort and convenience in the cabin. What’s more, there are 12 USB ports to work with, as well as various C-type ports that have quicker charging times.

Altogether, the Pacifica styling, spaciousness, comfort, and high-tech features make it even more desirable than an SUV, especially with its eco-friendly powertrain. You can get all of these fancy features at the lowest price of $35,045, (plus destination fee).

Miami Lakes Chrysler is selling the Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid in various trims and prices, as well as its gasoline counterpart. Those who are interested in this vehicle or any of our other vehicles can simply view our online new car inventory and chat with a representative for further assistance.

Why Everyone Needs Apple CarPlay

Apple CarPlay is now the go-to system when it comes to optimizing your driving experience in modern cars. The reason is that its interface takes the concept of hands-free technology to the next level, as it allows users of Apple products to have access to their favorite features via the car’s (with Apple CarPlay) infotainment system. Therefore, replicating what’s on your phone or iPad onto the infotainment screen.

Customizable Interface

Any good infotainment system has an interface that is user-friendly, and the same applies to Apple CarPlay. One can personalize their experience with this system, such as moving their preferred apps to the first eight spots, and the remaining ones to the following screen. Communication apps will likely be the most beneficial to do this type of customization, but entertainment features are still a must-have when sitting in heavy traffic.

Hand-Free Calls and Texts

One of the best reasons to have Apple CarPlay is its safety aspect. It’s no secret that distracted driving is the cause of far too many automobile accidents and deaths each year, specifically with 1 out of every 4 car accidents in the United States is caused by texting and driving. CarPlay allows you to make phone calls and read text messages aloud without needing to take your hands off the steering wheel or eyes off the road, as this feature only needs your voice command to activate.

Another common feature in modern infotainment systems is navigation. However, if you prefer third-party apps such as Google Maps and Waze, you can still access them through Apple CarPlay. When using Waze, for example, you will be provided with instructions turn-by-turn, as well as other important information like accidents, road obstructions, and more. Users can hear and see navigation instructions, making it much safer when trying to find their way to their destination.

Personalized Entertainment

The average driver will spend about an hour in his or her car, and this is even more frequent for parents of children with extracurricular activities. Therefore, it’s almost essential to have some of your favorite entertainment apps at your disposal. With Apple CarPlay, you’ll have access to apps like Apple Music/iTunes, Sirius XM, Podcasts and Google Play Music.

Additionally, you can use CarPlay to personalize a radio station containing music that is similar to a particular song that you like. Simply touch three dots on the “Now Playing” menu to find this option.

Why It’s A Need More Than A Want

Even though you can technically live without Apple CarPlay, you’re missing out on life-changing convenience. As we previously mentioned, distracted driving leads to many accidents and deaths each year, and having a hands-free system can virtually (pun-intended) eliminate this problem. If you care about being a safe driver, having this system isn’t just an option, it’s a must-have.

Miami Lakes Chrysler

One brand that specializes in family-friendliness and safety is Chrysler, specifically with their 2021 Chrysler Pacifica minivan. This vehicle is filled with safety features and technologies and has AppleCarPlay, along with Android Auto integration on its 10.1-inch touchscreen.

You can buy this award-winning vehicle at Miami Lakes Automall, as well as its Hybrid version at an affordable price. Those who are interested in any of our models can simply view our online new car inventory and chat with a representative for further assistance.

A Peek Inside The 2021 Chrysler Pacifica

While the automotive market is saturated with SUVs, crossovers, and minivans, the 2021 Chrysler Pacifica barely breaks a sweat when facing competition. Simply put, there is no room for comparison with this vehicle, as it always proves to have excellent powertrains, especially with the Pacifica Hybrid.

However, what really makes this an award-winning model is its family-friendliness in its interior features and comforts. Its innovative technology is catered towards adults and children in creating the best experience imaginable for all who are aboard. Here’s all the latest inside the 2021 Chrysler Pacifica.

Interior Necessities and Conveniences

For those who are used to sedans and small vehicles, or simply aren’t used to bringing along a big group to-and-from places, the Chrysler Pacifica may seem like a little piece of minivan heaven, especially with its ultra-modern technologies. An example of this would be the round dial, which replaces the ol’ timer transmission gear lever. This dial allows one to select either Park, Driver, Reverse, or more. The driver can even activate the parking brake with the click of a button.

The Pacifica can carry a maximum of eight occupants, but that’s dependent on whether you decide to opt for the second row’s 3-person bench, opposed to the pair of captain’s chairs. It’s also worth noting that the Hybrid model will only offer the captain’s chairs, but either way, the third row is very spacious for average-sized adults.

As with the second and third row, the front seating is highly comfortable. It also excels in its visibility, and even as a camera that allows parents to see what’s going on with their tiny tots in the back row. The infotainment system is featured on the brand’s latest 10.1-inch touchscreen and even has Amazon Alexa compatibility.

All Pacifica models are more than generous with their cargo space, as it starts at 32.3 cubic feet (with the seats up) and ends with a maximum of 140.5 (cubic feet). Additionally, the low step-in height and power-operated side doors allow for ease of access for each and every family member, even the furry ones.

Stow ’n Go

Cargo space doesn’t just end behind the third row. While drivers in other minivan drivers grudgingly have to remove and store second-row seats manually, Pacifica buyers simply fold the seats right into the floor, and this applies to both the second and third row.

Uconnect 5

Another highlighting interior feature is the brand’s latest Uconnect 5 infotainment system, which you’ll find on the aforementioned 10.1-inch touchscreen. Not only does this system feature Amazon Alexa compatibility, but it has wireless Apple CarPlay and Android, TomTom navigation, and USB-C ports. Then, the SiriusXM 360L streaming/satellite radio system allows users to have access to back catalog material, and even Sirius XM exclusives, which encompass shows, interviews, events, and even sports programming.

Standard and Optional Features

The array of features don’t just stop there, standard excitements that you’ll find on any Pacifica include a powered tailgate, rain-sensing wipers, power-sliding side doors, 8-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, tri-zone automatic climate control, and (previously mentioned) a 10.1-inch infotainment touchscreen with Apple CarPlay/Android Auto smartphone integration.

If you want the best of what this mini-God has to offer, you’d naturally gravitate towards the highest-ranking Pinnacle trim. This model tacks on features like a self-parking system with a 360-degree camera array, rear-seat entertainment setup, vacuum cleaner, and a 115-volt outlet. Buyers of lower trims can also enjoy these gadgets, but of course, will have to order them as options.

It’s usually recommended to at least select the Touring L model since this encompasses not only the standard features but also goodies like sunshades for the second and third rows, perforated leather upholstery, and heated front seats. Finally, the Limited model adds a bit more style and flair with its Red S Appearance Package, which involves plush red leather upholstery.
