At long last! Chrysler revealed its first new models in several years, and it appears to be in the form of an electric crossover. More specifically, a crossover that could potentially flaunt the classic Airflow nameplate. This new car was first shown during parent company Stellantis’ EV Day event at the beginning of this year. Now, more information has been revealed regarding this concept piece, which is supposed to display new technology, which encompass electric platforms, driver-assistance features, and infotainment software.
On Software Day, CEO of Stellantis, Carlos Tavares said during the company’s presentation that its “more than a pure concept” and suggested that this car could arrive in production by 2024, backed by North American trademarks for the Airflow name, which was filed in 2019 and again this year (2021).
It isn’t an accident that Chryler’s new model nearly mirrors the shape and proportions of Ford’s Mustang Mach-E. Car and Driver’s winner of EV of the Year is already seeing success in sales in the car market. Although we don’t know the precise size of the Airflow, it seems highly probable that it will serve as a competitor for the Mach-E and other electric compact crossovers like Tesla’s Model Y and Volkswagen’s ID.4.
Stellantis has already announced their intentions to build four new EV platforms, which encompass: STLA Small, STLA Medium, STLA Large, and STLA Frame. It’s quite possible that the Airflow would end up on STLA Medium. According to previous statements Stellantis has made about its new electric models, this means that it could reach a driving range of up to 440 miles and use electric motors that produce between 167 and 241 horsepower. It’s also likely that there will be an all-wheel-drive (AWD) dual-motor option.
Inward, the Airflow features an exciting bundle of screens, starting with a large central infotainment display that’s sandwiched between separate screens for the driver and passenger. There are also entertainment screens for the rear seats. Connectivity features will presumably involve over-the-air updates and vehicle-to-vehicle communication.
Although the timeline of the production of Chrysler’s Airflow certainly isn’t concrete, we can deduce from the fact that it has side marker lights and exterior mirrors that it will arrive in showrooms a bit sooner than we might expect. Stellantis is aiming at 2024 for its new platforms, so it’s plausible that this Chrysler model will make its way to North America by 2025.

Once again, the 2021 Chrysler Pacifica shows why it’s THE family minivan as the IIHS (Insurance Institute of Highway Safety) gave the vehicle the TOP SAFETY PICK+.
Vehicles that are given the IIHS rating are those built after September 2021, following an improvement with the headlamp performance and the adding of the standard Pedestrian Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB).
“Winning the highest IIHS safety rating of TSP+ distinguishes the Chrysler Pacifica’s superior safety technology and performance,” said Chrysler Brand CEO Chris Feuell. “Pacifica is the perfect choice for modern families who are looking for a minivan with the greatest combination of safety, functionality and value.”
The Pacifica received a “good” grade, which is the highest possible rating within the six main crashworthiness tests conducted by the IIHS:
Small overlap front (on the driver side)
Small overlap front (on the passenger side)
Moderate overlap, front
Head restraints and seats
Standard equipment in the Pacifica includes the AEB (automatic emergency brakings) system, which earned a “superior” rating, the highest possible from the IIHS grading system. It includes a new assortment of camera equipment and radar sensors that provide a wider field of view than the former system.
Fusing the two methods of object detection allows for redundancy, which promotes system performance.
The AEB system, which is prominent across the Stellantis project lineup as a standard interior feature, identifies when particular frontal collisions may be looming. If sensors pick up these conditions, this will enable visual and audible alerts, and should the driver fail to respond, the system may enable the vehicle’s brakes to aid in avoiding an impact or decrease its severity.
The Chrysler Pacifica’s Pedestrian AEB system also received an “advanced” rating.
This year’s Chrysler Pacifica is the only minivan in North America with second-row Stow ’n Go seating, which has the advantage of folding into the floor along with AWD (all-wheel-drive).
The minivan’s AWD technology seamlessly engages no matter the speed, and without any action needed by the driver. Should any of the wheels experience a loss in traction, the system will automatically transfer the available engine torque to the wheels with more traction for increased control.
The same rings true for the Pacifica Hybrid, a plug-in electric vehicle (PHEV).
The 2021 Chrysler Pacifica has earned about 160 industry honors and accolades, making the car industry’s most awarded vehicle in its segment over the last five years.

If you’re looking for a last minute sale, the 2021 Chrysler Pacifica is certainly worth the investment. This vehicle has great driving manners, a user-friendly infotainment system, room for up to seven or eight people, and a high-class design layout on the exterior and interior.
The Pacifica Hybrid also is a great choice for those who prioritize saving on gas, it also transitions well when switching from the electric motor to the gasoline engine.

Stellantis’s minivan subdivision, a.k.a Chrysler, is still the go-to when it comes to family-centered vehicles. The 300 sedan, Pacifica, and Voyager all offer various standard infotainment features and conveniences, which also encompasses an augmented cabin air filtration system. However, the award-winning Pacifica is certainly the highlight when it comes to vehicles from this brand, as it receives the most year-over-year updates. Regardless, here are some changes to expect with these cars.
2022 Chrysler 300 Changes
The RWD Chrysler 300 sedan is available in Touring, Touring L, and 300S models. AWD is only an option on Touring and Touring L trims. Standard across the lineup, is a new air filtration system. This technology is responsible for removing 95 percent of air particulates inside of the cabin.
In intermediate 300 Touring L upgrades its list of standards to encompass the Sport Appearance package with “Black Noise” exterior badging, 20-inch Black Noise alloy wheels, a performance front fascia, and LED fog lamps. Additional new standard features for the highest-ranking 300S is Uconnect navigation, a 9-speaker premium sound system, and a dual-pane power sunroof. There is also an available Comfort Group that adds an advanced security alarm; This package is available on the 300 Touring L and 300S.
2022 Chrysler Pacifica Changes
A new rear-seat reminder system and in-cabin air filtration system is standard across the Pacifica lineup. Hybrid models now come with a new Max Regeneration visual message seen on the instrument cluster display. All Pacificas have an available Amazon Fire TV, as well as a new color, Silver Mist, added to the list of paint colors. Trim-wise, a large portion of the upgrades are the surplus features to specific option packages.
On the base-level Touring trim, there is a new available Cold Weather package, it comes with heated front seats and a heated steering wheel. The available Safety Sphere package on the Touring L has added forward and parallel parking assistance, along with a 360-degree surround-view monitor. The Limited trim now includes Premium and Safety Sphere packages as part of the standard equipment. Finally, the deluxe Pinnacle model tacks on the Trailer Tow package as a standard feature (but not on Hybrids).
2022 Chrysler Voyager Changes
For 2022, the Chrysler Voyager is no longer considered a regular passenger vehicle, but as a fleet. It dropped its entry-level L trim, leaving the LX as the only model. All of its features are bundled together and with the overall minivan placed at a responsible price. Standard features now include Uconnect 5, second-row Stow ‘n Go seats, power-sliding doors and liftgate, an inflatable spare tire kit, a heated steering wheel, heated front seats, and a new cabin air filter system.
New available features now encompass a Silver Mist exterior color and a Safety and Premium package that involves blind-spot warning, rear park assist, rear cross-traffic alert, forward-collision warning with pedestrian detection, a 10.1-inch display, and navigation, together with SiriusXM 360L and SiriusXM Guardian remote vehicle access and safety services.

A minivan has become so much more than that embarrassing station wagon previously seen in the carpool line. Today, it’s become on par with a luxury SUV, with its updated and modish design and avant-garde technological features. These aspects are truly embodied by the 2022 Chrysler Pacifica and the 2022 Honda Odyssey.
They both have been tested and proven to be reliable, excel in their powertrain performance, and are filled with infotainment and safety features. In terms of which one of these mini’s stands out from the other…keep reading.
Reliability and Quality
The Chrysler Pacifica has been ranked third in its segment for J.D. Power’s 2021 Vehicle Dependability Study (VDS), though it did not reach the top rankings for J.D’s Power 2021 Initial Quality Study (IQS). Despite this, the stylish wagon comes with various warranties and roadside assistance coverage, such as:
Standard warranty: 3 years or 36,000 miles
Powertrain warranty: 5 years or 60,000 miles
Hybrid system warranty: 8 years or 80,000 miles
Hybrid battery warranty: 10 years or 100,000 miles (10 years or 150,000 miles in California emissions states)
Roadside assistance: 5 years or 60,000 miles
Alternatively, the Honda Odyssey didn’t make the cut for the top three models in the minivan segment for this year’s VDS, but it did make it second place for 2021 IQS. The 2022 Honda Odyssey goes with the following warranty and roadside assistance coverage:
Standard warranty: 3 years or 36,000 miles
Powertrain warranty: 5 years or 60,000 miles
Roadside assistance: 3 years or 36,000 miles
Performance and Efficiency
Buyers of the 2022 Chrysler Pacifica have two engine options at their disposal. The fist is the 3.6-liter V6 engine which produces 287 horsepower and 262 lb-ft of torque. It’s matched with a 9-speed automatic transmission system and has either front wheels or all four with an available AWD system.
The Pacifica’s second option comes along with the Hybrid model, which uses a combination of a V6 engine with two electric motors and a battery pack, mustering up 260 hp. Additionally, the Hybrid PHEV uses an electric continuously variable transmission (eCVT), rather than a traditional automatic.
As a result, the Hybrid is heavier and a bit slower than its gasoline-powered counterpart. Still, J.D. Power’s autonomous testing experts have said that the response in traffic does well while the interior remains incredibly quiet and tranquil.
At the same time, the standard 287-hp V6 helps to produce a 3,600-lb tow rating. It is worth noting, however, the automaker doesn’t discourage owners from towing a trailer with the Pacifica PHEV.
FWD Pacificas powered by the V6 are rated at 22 mpg in combined city and highway driving; This rating only drops to 20 mpg with AWD. The Hybrid is also rated by the EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) at a strong 30 mpg combined and has an estimated 32 miles of fully-electric driving range.
The FWD 2022 Honda Odyssey is only powered by a regular V6 engine, but it’s the only one that you need. This 3.5-liter V6 drives silky-smooth riding on 280 horsepower and 262 lb-ft of torque, it’s also matched with a 10-speed automatic. It also has a 3,500-lb tow rating. This minivan has a rating of 22 mpg in combined city and highway driving.
Safety and Driver Assistance
Another significant factor for minivan drivers is safety. The 2022 Chrysler Pacifica brings along a slew of standard driver-aids, which encompasses a forward-collision warning system with pedestrian detection and automatic emergency braking. Other features involve lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assistance, a blind-spot warning system with rear cross-traffic alert, automatic rear braking (activated while in reverse), and adaptive cruise control. The Pacifica model also has low-speed, automatic braking for the front to prevent you from bumping into objects when parking.
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) awarded the upcoming Pacifica 5 stars out of 5 overall in safety. This year’s model also received a Good rating in all crash-test categories from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS).
The 2022 Odyssey also carries a bundle of standard safety features of its own, specifically dubbed Honda Sensing. This package encompasses front collision warning with automatic emergency braking and pedestrian detection, lane-departure warning, and lane-keeping assist (or as Honda names it Road Departure Mitigation). This SUV-like car also has standard Level 2 semi-autonomous driving assistance appearing as a traffic jam assist system that incorporates adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go capability, lane centering/lane-keeping assist, and traffic sign recognition. Interestingly enough, the entry-level LX trim is the only model that doesn’t have the blind-spot warning with rear cross-traffic warning. However, the rear-seat reminder system is standard on all 2022 models.
The new Odyssey also earned accolades in safety, such as a 5-star overall NHTSA crash rating and a Top Safety Pick+ from the IIHS.
Infotainment and Technology
Entertainmentwise, the 2022 Pacifica involves a 10.1-inch touchscreen interface supported by the new Uconnect 5 infotainment system. Standards include wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay smartphone integration, as well as dual-phone connectivity and Amazon Alexa. The optional TomTom navigation system also uses over-the-air updates.
Then the optional Uconnect Theater package includes dual, 10.1-inch displays that enable rear passengers to stream content through Amazon Fire TV. This bundle also comes with HDMI ports, a 115-volt outlet, and a Blu-ray player.
The base LX comes with a 5-inch LCD screen and Bluetooth, while the rest of the models have an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment interface with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone integration.
The Odyssey Touring and Elite involve navigation, CabinTalk in-car PA system, CabinWatch rear-seat monitor, and a rear entertainment system with dual 10.2-inch displays, an HDMI port, a 115-volt outlet, and a Blu-ray player.
Who’s Actually Miniature?
For the most part, the 2022 Chrysler Pacifica and 2022 Honda Odyssey excel in all categories regarding reliability, performance, and in-car technologies. Simply put, the Pacifica just has…more, and especially regarding its powertrain options. For this reason, we believe that the 2022 Pacifica is the Queen Bee on minivan machines.

Publication site Wards honored the Chrysler Pacifica and the all-new Jeep Grand Cherokee L by putting them on their 2021 Wards 10 Best User Experience List. Both Stellantis vehicles are geared with the brand’s Uconnect 5 infotainment system, which has better connectivity, richer content and an improved customization experience.
“Uconnect 5 is designed to be the most advanced in-car technology we have ever produced, and we’re honored that Wards has selected the system for two spots on their 10 Best User Experience list,” said Mamatha Chamarthi, Head of Software Business and Product Management. “We are dedicated to providing all occupants with greater connectivity, easy-to-use content and innovative features to seamlessly elevate the automobile to a third living space.”
In order to help with the selection process, editors of Wards determined the comprehensive user experience of 25 vehicles, grading them on factors like practicality, infotainment features, sound systems, vehicle connectivity, driver assistance technology, information/displays, system compatibility, voice control, materials and overall value.
“Minivans have always delivered a unique user experience and the refreshed 2021 Chrysler Pacifica Pinnacle is everything we could want in a minivan,” said Christie Schweinsberg, Wards Intelligence Principal Analyst. “It has the right mix of physical switchgear and an easy-to-navigate touchscreen. Voice commands work well, smartphone pairing is lightning fast and this minivan offers virtually every advanced driver-assist technology you could ever want, including standard, stop-and-go adaptive cruise control.
“We love the FamCam, a ceiling-mounted camera above the second row that helps parents answer that most elusive question: Who touched whom first? This is a rolling high-tech living room,” she added.
The Pacifica minivan also encompasses a 10.1-inch touchscreen, the largest in its class, along with (first in its segment) USB Type C ports that make way for devices to charge up to four times faster than standard ones. The vehicle also has an available class-exclusive Uconnect Theater system that comes with built-in games and apps.
Also carrying the automaker’s most up-to-date interior gadgets is the latest Jeep Grand Cherokee L. In this truck, you’ll get faster operating speeds, new content and improved personalization. The Uconnect also has new available convenience and connected services, ensuring that both drivers and passengers aren’t lulled to sleep.
“For 2021, the Jeep Grand Cherokee L gains a third row and delivers a spectacular user experience, from the brightly configured digital instrument cluster and neatly integrated user-friendly touchscreen to the outstanding driver-assistance technologies and dreamy optional McIntosh sound system,” Wards Intelligence Principal Analyst Bob Gritzinger said. “And the brains behind it all is Stellantis’ Uconnect 5 infotainment architecture, which delivers five times the computing power of the previous generation.”
More features on the Grand Cherokee L include an available high-def rear-seat monitoring camera system, the best in its class. There’s also equipment like a night vision camera, drowsy driver detection, head-up display, an advanced L2 automated driving system, standard 10.25-inch digital cluster with almost two dozen different menus, available seat back massage for front-row passengers and ambient lighting with a five-color selection.
The winners will officially receive their honors on November 17 at the Wards 10 Best User Experience ceremony at the Suburban Showplace in Novi, Michigan.

This year, the Chrysler company announced that their Voyager model will transition into a fleet-only version for 2022, while its standard Pacifica is getting a spike in its price for the upcoming model year. These vehicles will experience some gains and losses in their equipment, but what’s getting a serious change is the Pacifica Hybrid. The car blog, Mopar Insiders got the scoop regarding information about the automaker’s pricing for the changes made to the lineup, with the most significant one being the Pacifica’s overall range. According to the site, this model and option rationalizations seriously lessened its previous 3,550 combinations to just 53. While that still outranks the Honda Odyssey seven variants, it now lags behind Toyota’s Sienna 206.
No changes will be made to the minivan’s 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 and its eFlite variable transmission, nor does the fact that it can’t implement all-wheel-drive.
Additions that can be included, however, include a new reminder for the rear seats, along with a Clear Air Filtration system that parent company Stellantis is applying in all of its models. 95% of particulates is captured by this filtration system, including bacteria, allergens, and pollen. The color palette also mirrors the non-hybrid version of the minivan, with the elimination of 10 free colors, to only three free ones of the seven. These free colors include Bright White, Brilliant Black, and Ceramic Grey. Billet Silver will be swapped out for Granite Crystal and the new Silver Mist for $95, with Fathom Blue and Velvet Red priced at $395.
The AWD option on the regular Pacifica touring got the boot and the Hybrid’s Touring trim also received its pink slip. As a matter of fact, this change has already been implemented for the end of this year. In turn, this means that the Touring L has become the new base trim. It also makes the 2021’s available $995 Safety Sphere Group a standard for the following year; This involves features such as ParkSense for front, parallel, and perpendicular parking, and a 360-degree surround-view camera. Alternatively, the roof rack and side sunshades will become options rather than standards. Mopar Insiders says that 2022’s MSRP will be $48,255, (plus destination fee). This brings the starting price of the upcoming Pacifica to an increase of $1,840.
The 2022 Limited trim will tack on the $1,895 Premium and Safety Sphere Group on the side of standard gear, which means buyers will be awarded with the aforementioned parking technologies, together with a 19-speaker Harman Kardon audio system with a 760-watt amplifier. At the same time, this trim will do away with its three-pane sunroof in favor of a dual-pane one, as well as the retirement of the sunshades on the side. Mopar also says that the next year’s Limited will be priced at $52,155, (plus destination fee), an extra charge of $2,615.
The Pinnacle will also get improvements like standard Amazon FireTV for the Theater Group. It is worth noting, however, that the manufacturer did transition the standard wireless headphones to an optional feature. The tri-pane sunroof also creates room for the dual-pane unit. It’s reported that the highest-trim will have a starting price of $56,435, (plus destination fee).
Miami Lakes Chrysler
When the time comes to purchase your new 2022 Pacifica Hybrid, be sure to do it at Miami Lakes Automall. We sell various types of vehicles from the company, including the Pacifica models. Those who are interested in any of Chrysler’s vehicles can simply view our online new car inventory and chat with a representative for further assistance.
For the last few months, there have been some issues regarding the production of the Chrysler Pacifica minivan, such as a full pause of its construction for almost the whole month of June. At the same time, there was a temporary shut down, in early September, due to the chip shortage, but demand for this vehicle remained strong. This time around, the Pacifica is back to take over 2022, and it’s bringing along some advancements as well as key additions to the North American lineup.
The Pacifica’s range-topping Limited and Pinnacle models will now be had with front-wheel-drive (FWD) as a standard, while the all-wheel-drive (AWD) will be an option. This change makes the most sense seeing that many customers living in warmer climates don’t need the extra grip of the minivan’s AWD. In turn, this signifies that the new FWD options will encompass more rich technologies or equipment on slightly cheaper models.
According to the car blog, MoparInsiders, the 2022 Pacifica Limited models will start at $48,320 (plus destination fee) for FWDs. Those who want the optional AWD system need to pay an extra $1,675, which would bring the price to $50,915 (plus destination fee). Then, the highest-ranking Pacifica Pinnacle trim will have a starting price of $52,775 (plus destination fee) for its FWD model, while its optional AWD version will cost $55,370 (plus destination fee).
At the same time, the base-level Touring trim will no longer have available AWD for the upcoming model year. It does not matter much because only 2 percent of the Pacifica’s customers opted for the Touring AWD the previous year, which led the carmaker to make the Touring lineup more straightforward for the 2022 model year. On the other hand, the Touring L will continue to serve options for FWD and AWD configurations.
Essentially, the Pacifica range as a whole will get some advancement for the 2022 model year, including the Cold Weather Group, which was previously optional for $495, but now serves as a standard. This implies that every new 2022 Pacifica model will be geared from the car plant with heated front seats and a heated steering wheel. Otherwise, the base Touring and Touring L trims will come with a rear-seat reminder system in the lineup. At the same time, the Limited model will obtain the previously optional Premium and Safety Sphere Group, which will be standard. The top-tier Pacifica Pinnacle will also have the additional benefit having of the Clean Air Filtration System, which is also standard.

The Chrysler company is showing 2022 what it’s made of with a slew of updates all throughout its lineup.
To begin with, their classic 300 luxury sedan will be geared with a new air filtration system that will supposedly sift out 95% of particulates. This technology should help lessen the amount of dust, smoke, and aerosols within the interior.
Other changes are quite minimal, however, the Touring L trim tacks on the freshly standard Sport Appearance package, which involves a more athletic-looking front fascia, LED fog lights and Black Noise accents. This mid-level model also brings along 20-inch wheels with a Black Noise finish.
At the same time, the highest-ranking 300S receives more standard technologies, some of which encompass GPS navigation, a panoramic sunroof, and a nine-speaker deluxe audio system with trunk-installed subwoofer.
Even though the newest 300 holds on to its “vintage” Uconnect 4C infotainment system, the brand’s 200 Voyager minivan (newly transitioned fleet vehicle) adds a new and improved Uconnect 5 infotainment system matched with a 7-inch display. It flaunts its augmented processing power, added personalization, and updated interface. Other spotlighting gadgets involve voice recognition technology, over-the-air updates, and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
In addition to the new infotainment system, the Voyager lets go of its base-level L trim and now has standard power sliding doors, a power liftgate and second-row Stow ‘n Go seats. It even includes a new air filtration system, a reworked color scheme, and heated front seats and a heated steering wheel.
Potential buyers also have the option to select a new Safety and Premium Group, which merges river assistance systems with a larger 10.1-inch infotainment system featuring GPS navigation and SiriusXM 360L. This package also involves blind-spot monitoring, rear park assist, rear cross path detection, and full-speed forward collision warning-plus with pedestrian automatic emergency braking.
Speaking of minivans, the award-winning Pacifica, includes more comprehensive updates for its 2022 model year. One of the main features is its available rear seat entertainment system which has Amazon Fire TV. This technology comes with Alexa voice remotes and two 10.1-inch displays, which allows passengers to steam and watch videos from a 4G Wi-Fi hotspot. There is also 16 GB built-in, which means those aboard won’t even have to worry about using their data while road tripping.
This family car also comes with surplus standard gear involving a rear seat reminder and the previously mentioned air filtration technology. There is even a new Silver Mist color for the exterior and developed messaging for the Hybrid variant.
Moreover, the base Pacifica Touring now includes standard heated front seats and a heated steering wheel. Moving above to the Touring L will award you with extra safety features like front park assist, parallel/perpendicular park assist and a 360° surround-view monitor. Then, the Limited trim comes with the earlier mentioned safety features along with a Harmon Kardon premium audio system. At last, the high-grade Pacifica Pinnacle will now encompass the Trailer Tow Group on gasoline models.

Look out Chrysler family, because there’s a new head honcho in charge! The brand known for its award-winning Pacifica minivan is getting new leadership this month. Stellantis, which is the company that was created as a result of the merger with Fiat Chrysler Automobiles and Peugeot maker PSA Group this year in January, was revealed last Tuesday (September 6) that Christine Feuell will become CEO of the Chrysler brand, commencing immediately today.
Feuell has previously held positions at the multinational conglomerate company, Honeywell, as well as Ford Motors. It was at the former, where she performed as the chief commercial officer at Honeywell Safety and Productivity Solutions, as said by Stellantis in a press release. She is set to report to Stellantis CEO Carlos Tavares.
“Christine heading Chrysler is great news for Stellantis, and I’m convinced that she will play an integral and strategic role in setting the new impetus and direction for this iconic brand and unleash its great potential,” Tavares said in the release.
As previously stated, in conjunction with her time at Honeywell, Feuell spent 14 years at Ford, with her last position being the director of global marketing strategy from 2008 to 2009, as stated from her LinkedIn profile. On top of this, she also held a position for four years at Adient, Johnson Controls.
The Stellantis company says that Feuell has accomplished progressive responsibilities in sales, marketing, product management, and profit and loss leadership at her previous companies, “with a strong track record of delivering profitable growth through integrated products, software and services. Her extensive expertise in building and developing advanced product, marketing and business model strategies will benefit the Chrysler brand to deliver customer-centric insights and innovative solutions.”
This selection of what the automaker believes to be a leader that is dedicated for the Chrysler brand just may be what is needed for its uncertain future. While Tavares has made a commitment to allow each of Stellantis’s brands to prove themselves for over a set period of time, Chrysler, which used to be a big name in the automotive world, has had hardly any product in the recent years. Specifically, the brand main selling point is the Pacifica minivan, with the 300 sedan hanging by a thread. While these cars are great, and the Pacifica is ranked highly in its segment, the exposure is still not the same as other brands of the parent company like Ram, Jeep, or Dodge.
Interestingly enough, Chrysler was previously the only brand among the 14 other brands of Stellantis, as well as the only North American brand (like Jeep, Dodge, and Ram) that didn’t have an elected leader after the merger between Fiat Chrysler Automobiles NV and the French company Groupe. Tim Kuniskis, CEO of Dodge took the role as an interim position.
The addition of Feuell to the team comes after Tavares announced earlier this year that each of the 14 brands will get funding by Stellantis for the next decade to prove their worth, particularly since there are a large number of brands within the company.

New leadership means new opportunities for Chrysler lovers, specifically with the Pacifica minivan. You may have previously read that the automaker is looking to make further advancements in the world of electrics. Why not make a headstart with the Pacifica Hybrid? It has the same innovative features as the Pacifica, just without having to use as much gasoline, it is also a joy to ride in for both drivers and passengers alike!

It’s no secret that SUVs have taken over the car market in recent years, giving sedans and coupes a run for their money. However, what some may not realize is that minivans are nearly just as popular these days, particularly this year, as it’s become among the most prominent vehicles sold in the American market this year. This is somewhat expected, given that automakers have stepped up their game and have transformed your granny’s ol’ station wagon to the charming and opulent cottage on wheels.
One automaker in particular always sets the standard of what it means to be a luxurious minivan is Chrysler, with its Pacifica. It’s known for being filled with a plethora of entertainment and features, incredible storage space and functionality, along with having an hybrid powertrain option.
For 2022, the Chrysler company is making considerable changes to its 2022 Pacifica car, together with the 2022 Voyager (an entry-level version of the Pacifica). Don’t expect just another nip-and-tuck…expect so much more.
The One That Got Away…Sort Of
The 2022 Chrysler Voyager is going off the market…but we’re not talking about retirement. The manufacturer has decided to use this upcoming minivan as a fleet vehicle. This time, us commoners won’t be the main buyer of this car, instead, it will be rental car companies and oehr commercial fleet operators. The lucky drivers of these new fleets will revel in the LX’s (the only trim level) power-sliding doors, heated seats, and a heated steering wheel. There is even an available package option that tacks on automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitors, parking sensors, and turn-by-turn navigation.
Additional Entertainment Options On
As previously mentioned, the Voyager is considered to be an entry-level version of the Pacifica, so it shouldn’t be considered a huge loss to the automotive market, just the discount shoppers. Besides, there’s no need to fear, because the manufacturer is making up for this “loss” by adding on more entertainment options to its beloved 2022 Pacifica.
While pricing for this minivan has not been revealed yet, it is expected that it won’t stray too far from this year’s model stick price, which begins at $35,820, (plus destination fee).
The Pacifica will involve optional all-wheel-drive (AWD) as an enticing feature against the strand front-wheel-drive (FWD). The aforementioned plug-in hybrid is also adept as an electric vehicle for the first 32 miles.
Then, buyers are rewarded with new games and prizes…optional of course. The highlighting features are the two Uconnect Theater packages, one of which has a single screen, and the other which has two. These packages both include Amazon Fire Tv capability. On top of this, the central touchscreen in the front will show video content while the car is parked.
Other developments are still exciting, just aren’t as big, as the new exterior color options and augmented display, which displays the status of the hybrid’s battery.
