Chrysler Showcases Its Synthesis Cockpit Demonstrator At The CES 2023

Chrysler Synthesis Cockpit Demonstrator

Last week, Wednesday (January 4), Chrysler introduced their Synthesis Cockpit demonstrator at the 2023 CES (Consumer Electronics Show), providing a progressive glimpse into the company’s future and tasting the first implementation of new Stellantis technologies for the U.S. The Chrysler Synthesis shows the application of the brand’s modern, technologically-advanced and ecological interior design.

The Chrysler Synthesis displays intricate technologies, particularly with the brand’s AI-powered platforms: TLA Smart Cockpit, STLA Brain, and STLA AutoDrive. These technologies are integral in fusing contemporary and high-class design with intelligible, futuristic technology and features. The Synthesis platform helps make sense of everyday life and thoughtfully manage human-related friction through its technologies.

The two-seater Synthesis also demonstrates the next step in the car manufacturer’s electric transformation, expanding on the reveal of the Chrysler Airflow Concept at CES 2022, along with the announcement that the company will release its first battery-electric car in 2025 and a full battery-electric lineup in 2028. The automaker’s gradual move towards a fully-electric future lines up with their strategic Dare Forward 2030 plan revealed by Stellantis last year, mapping out the automaker’s steps for the future.

“For nearly 100 years, Chrysler has created innovative products and technologies for mainstream customers. Chrysler will continue that legacy of innovation as the first to launch the STLA Smart Cockpit in North America. The Chrysler Synthesis shown at CES 2023 represents the future of Chrysler brand design, technology, and customer experience by introducing customer-centric design and intuitive, seamlessly connected technology for real life,” said Chris Feuell, Chrysler brand CEO – Stellantis. “Chrysler is focused on delivering Harmony In Motion for every aspect of the customer experience with the product, technology, purchase, and ownership experiences, resulting in harmony with the planet, our products, services, and customer experiences.”

Chrysler Airflow Concept

The Chrysler Airflow concept is the first step towards the brand paving the way towards electrified glory. The brand has stayed committed to releasing its first battery-electric vehicle (BEV) in 2025, offering a fully sustainable portfolio in 2028.

The Airflow Concept showcases all the ways to make the driver’s digital lifestyle easier via its in-car experience. This EV has several display screens for the driver and front-seat passenger, a central infotainment display, ad rear-seats. The company says these screens have a new software interface that can download over-the-air updates.

In the early stages of the development of the Airflow, there were numerous design styles for the concept, together with the original concept revealed at CES 2022. This also included the alternative version of the model that was introduced at the 2022 New York International Auto Show.

For the CES 2023, the Chrysler Synthesis that was on display derived from the Chrysler Airflow design, demonstrating the next step in the company’s move forward into a fully-electric lineup and acting as a sampling of the brand’s future design language.

The 2023 Chrysler Pacifica and 2023 Honda Odyssey Start The New Year In A Minivan Battle

For the past few years, the Honda Odyssey and Chrysler Pacifica have been going at it in the race to prove who’s truly the star of the minivan segment. Let’s see how these two match up for the 2023 model year.

Engine Options, Capability, And Tow Ratings

There are two powertrain options for the Chrysler Pacifica. The first is the 3.6-liter V6 motor, producing 287 horsepower and 262 lb-ft of torque. With the help of the optional all-wheel-drive (AWD) system, the 9-speed automatic transmission gives life to either the front wheels (FWD) or all four (4WD).

The second choice is the Pacifica Hybrid, which merges a V6 engine with two electric motors, a battery pack, and a hybrid-specific engine. This configuration produces up to 260 horsepower. As a substitute for the standard automatic transmission, the PHEV (plug-in electric vehicle) has an electric continuously variable transmission.

The Honda Odyssey only has one engine option, a 3.5-liter V6 motor. This lone wolf produces 280 horsepower and 262 lb-ft of torque. The 10-speed automatic transmission utilizes its FWD system.

The tow rating of the 2023 Odyssey minivan is 3,500 lbs, while the Pacifica fair slightly better with 3,600 lbs.

Infotainment And Tech

Since its inception, the 2023 Pacifica has been known to come out swinging with its standard features. Starting with the 10.1-inch touchscreen display, operated by the new Uconnect 5 infotainment system. The Uconnect 5 includes dual-phone connectivity, Amazon Alexa virtual assistant functionality, as well as Android Auto and Apple CarPlay smartphone integration. Its navigation system also stays up to the minute with over-the-air updates derived from TomTom.

Moreover, passengers can stream content through Amazon Fire TV for Auto owing to dual 10.1-inch rear monitors that are included in the available Uconnect Theater package.

The Honda Odyssey’s based LX model still has some…features, such as Bluetooth and a 5-inch LCD screen, which some may view as either outdated or “vintage .” Moving up the trim will at least grant those a larger 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone compatibility.

Lower Odyssey models also involved a CabinWatch rear-seat monitor, CabinTalk in-car public address system, factory navigation, a CabinTalk in-car public address system, and a rear entertainment system with two 10.2-inch screens.

Both minivans have a Blu-ray player, a 115-volt outlet (150 watts), and HDMI ports.

Which Minivan Comes Out On Top?

As much potential as the 2023 Honda Odyssey has, it’s still not a 2023 Chrysler Pacifica. Our winner ultimately gives you the most bang for your buck, such as towing, an effective plug-in hybrid model, an optional all-wheel drive system, and overall more standard features.

This gem of a minivan as starting $37,020 (plus destination fee). When you’re ready to make a purchase, be sure to do it at Miami Lakes Automall. We sell a wide range of vehicles from the brand in several shapes and sizes.

The 2023 Chrysler Pacifica Still Has New Tricks

The 2023 Chrysler Pacifica has reached its seventh anniversary for its latest generation, a year past when a vehicle would get a total revamp. Regardless, this minivan has been so well crafted that it remains a top competitor in its segment, both in gasoline and especially in hybrid form.

Updates For 2023

The newest Pacifica receives a new Road Tripper package for this upcoming year. This package will be made available on the Touring L trim levels, in both gasoline and hybrid models, adding intricate graphics and wheels in Luster Gray with orange highlights. The exterior has a “Granite Crystal” trim, all-weather floor mats, and a roof rack. The gas-only Pacifica also involves the Trailer Tow Group.

Interior and In-Car Technologies

The interior of the Pacifica minivan will surely be a pleasure for all aboard. There’s more than enough room for one to stretch their legs and several storage spaces; it’s also quite visually appealing. The cup holders are also a nice touch, as they’re big lodge two 32-ounce Nalgene water bottles. Many will be pleased with the materials, particularly the perforated leather seats, smooth leather steering wheel, and charming stitching on the Limited model, with the luxury only intensifying in the top-ranking Pinnacle van. This model tracks on quilted leather seats and matching cushions for the second row.

Concerning the tech features, the UConnect infotainment system remains quick in its responses and is user-friendly with its layout. This large 10.1-inch screen, wireless Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto serve as the highlighting front-row feature. Wireless smartphone charging is also an option, while higher trim levels can be geared with a rear-seat entertainment system with screens fixed in both front seats. Another cool feature is the available FamCam that allows those up front to monitor the tiny critters from the central infotainment screen. It’s worth noting, however, that several features are restricted to the upper trims.

Fuel economy, Electric Range, and Performance Specs

The Chrysler Pacifica’s base engine s a 3.6-liter V6 with an output of 287 horsepower and 262 lb-ft of torque. It’s matched to a 9-speed automatic transmission. All models pair up with front-wheel-drive (FWD) or all-wheel-drive (AWD). The EPA-estimated fuel economy comes out to 19 mpg city, 28 mpg highway, 22 mpg combined with FWD, and 17/25/20 mpg with AWD.

The Hybrid minivan is a plug-in vehicle. Plug-ins like this have a large battery pack that can produce 32 miles of fully-electric range. All one needs to do is refresh the range is plug it into a charging station, likely by an at-home charger. Ultimately, using both electric motors and a 3.6-liter V6 allows it to achieve an EPA-estimated 30 mpg in combined driving.

Every Reason To Adore The 2022 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid

You can call the 2022 Chrysler Pacifica the author of determining what should be expected in a premium minivan. This vehicle involves a 3.6-liter V6 engine and dual electric motors, which can be utilized with an available all-wheel drive (AWD) system. On top of its eye-catching looks, it is pretty aware of its road manner, whether you’re driving a short commute or a long-distance road trip.

Having a reputation for the most interior features in its segment, the Pacifica remains the reigning champ in this minivan regime. Here is Every Reason To Adore The 2022 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid.

Sizableness

Be honest; there’s a good chance you didn’t opt for a minivan just for its features. Most shoppers in this segment are in desperate need of space, which the Pacifica and its Hybrid variant have plenty of. The cabin also lodges several compartments, storage areas, and slide-out bins.

Buyers can make room for seven people within the three rows. There’s also an Easy Access feature that allows passengers to slide in and out of the third row by using the left of the lever. Furthermore, cargo space lengthens considerably by folding down the second and third-row seats.

Amazon Fire TV Compatibility

If you’d like to avoid the painfully consistent “Are we there yet question,” the family-friendly car manufacturers have tacked on the entertainment features, starting with the available Amazon Fire TV feature. Through this technology, occupants can stream their preferred TV shows and movies through screens mounted on the rear seats.

Front-seat passengers have been included in the loop, as they can also revel in this feature as soon as the car is in the park.

Swanky Interior Design

The best way to illustrate the design of the interior is trendy with a refined twist. Of course, the overall quality depends on what trim level one selects, particularly with the higher ones, which include deluxe Nappa leather, quilted pillows, and distinctive accents. A suede headliner and Berber carpet crown are also involved in the Limited and Pinnacle models.

UConnect 5 Software

The Uconnect infotainment system is another essential part of Stellantis vehicles, with this year’s Hybrid model involving the latest Uconnect 5. This new infotainment has built-in Amazon Alexa, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, and even a wifi hotspot.

FamCam

Another prominent in-cabin technological feature is the FamCam camera. This system may be considered a gem for parents, as it allows one to keep an eye on their tiny tots in the rear seats via the front seat monitor; this can also be used for pet owners. So if your little critter, furry or not, has a bit of a troublesome streak, this monitoring system practically acts as the eyes in the back of your head.

Exceptional Safety Rating

Throughout the years, the Hybrid model has been given countless awards, and a large part of this reason is the wealth of safety features that it has, such as automated emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, lane-departure warning, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and pedestrian detection are all standard.

Even though the minivan hasn’t been tested by the IIHS (Insurance Institute for Highway Safety), it has been given a “good” rating on all six crash tests. Meanwhile, it was given a five-star rating from the NHTSA (National Highway Traffic Safety Administration) this year (2022), with five stars for the side crash test and four for the rollover and frontal crash tests.

Environmentally Sound Powertrain

A positive attribute of the 2022 Pacifica Hybrid is its fuel efficiency, which is made possible due to the half-electric powertrain. The minivan can run on 32 miles of electric range, which is excellent for just a simple commute to the grocery store or a short errand.

This dual-setup of the V6 motor offers 30 mpg on the highway/city. When the electric motor runs, drivers can revel in an estimated 82 MPGe.

Power Sliding Doors

If you need a helping hand, you can count on the Pacifica Hybrid! The hands-free sliding doors are helpful when your hands are full, and all that’s necessitated is to sway your foot beneath the door, activating it to open.

Using this same foot motion, one can open the liftgate. Moreover, the minivan has a Tri-Pane panoramic sunroof that brings one closer to the great outdoors.

Miami Lakes Chrysler

The 2022 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid is everything one would want in an opulent minivan. Its conveniences cater to drivers and passengers and are nearly essential for families or those who want to save a bit on gas.

If you’re interested in purchasing this vehicle or any other Chrysler model, look no further than Miami Lakes. We carry a wide range of vehicles from the brand, which you can easily find on our online new car inventory, and chat with a representative for further assistance.

All Of The Ways To Benefit From Chrysler’s Extended Warranty

If you recently bought a new car, particularly a Chrysler model, the last thing you’re likely thinking of is what repairs need to be done. Still, the brand’s extended warranty plans are genuinely one of the first things to consider after a new purchase.

What Does Chrysler Extended Warranty Entail?

The extended warranty of the Chrysler brand, otherwise dubbed as a vehicle service contract, is an optional plan one can obtain to help with the payment for certain repairs that they might need. New Chrysler vehicles bring along a new car warranty, and when it hits its expiration date, an extended warranty occurs where the factory coverage ceases.

The extended warranty plans are sold and governed by Mopar, Chrysler’s automotive parts and accessories division. These warranties are involved in all brands of Stellantis: Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram, Fiat, and Alfa Romeo.

Extended Warranty Plans

Most people prefer to have more coverage than the basic factory warranty. For this reason, Moper offers two options for Chrysler’s extended warranty for reasonably new models, reaching the manufacturer’s expiration date: Maximum Care and Added Care Plus.

Maximum Care

Mopar always says, “If it’s mechanical, it’s covered,” When referring to Chrysler’s extended warranty. Over 5000 mechanical components are protected, allowing consumers access to different terms and deductibles. It guarantees that which follows:

  • Coverage up to 8 years/125,000 miles
  • Comprehensive coverage for over 5,000 critical components
  • Certified, factory-trained, expert technicians
  • $200, $100, or $0 deductible
  • Service at dealerships throughout the U.S.
  • Some of the assets involved with the Maximum Care plan are car rental and towing allowance, roadside assistance, key fob repair/replacement, and trip interruption protection.

This contract can provide more protection for your brakes, engine, and other components when your factory’s warranty expires.

New vehicles backed by their original factory 5-year/60,000-mile powertrain warranty Can still get the maximum care coverage plan within three years/36,000 miles of the vehicle’s in-service date.

Should your Chrysler vehicle have had a previous owner, there is also a pre-owned coverage from Mopar. After examining the car, one can obtain protection reigning ten years before the current model year. Coverage is varied based on the present warranty.

Added Care Plus

One can lengthen the coverage of their powertrain or as many as 800 significant components using Mopar’s Added Care Plus plan, available with several different terms and deductibles. The brand’s extended warranty advantages include a car rental allowance, towing, roadside assistance, and trip interruption coverage.

New vehicles backed by a 5-year/60,000-mile or more extended powertrain warranty are qualified to purchase this coverage within three years/36,000 miles of the car’s in-service date. For pre-owned models, Added Care Plus coverage scales from 1 to 5 years, with mileage spanning 12,000, 15,000, or unlimited miles.

Mopar provides various term options for Added Care Plus warranty coverage:

  • 60,000 miles
  • 75,000 miles
  • 85,000 miles
  • 100,000 miles
  • 125,000 miles
  • 150,000 miles

Depending on your plan, deductibles can span from $200, $100, or $0 of the total cost of backed component repairs. Advantages include towing and roadside assistance, trip interruption protection, key fob repair/replacement, car rental allowance, and transfer of warranty ownership (that requires a fee). It’s also worth noting that not all these plans are transferable.

Eye-Opening Facts About Chrysler That You May Not Have Known

Like many automobile brands, Chrysler has undergone many significant changes and played a major role throughout history. Here are some Eye-Opening Facts About Chrysler that you may not know about.

Where It Started

A true pioneer in the automotive industry, Walter Chrysler, along with the former Studebaker engineers, developed the company’s standard of producing luxury but cost-effective vehicles. While Mr. Chrysler bought the major shares in the company in 1922, its moniker was changed to Chrysler Corporation in 1925.

Major Role In WWII

One might be surprised to know that Chrysler and several other car companies played a significant role in World War II. The automaker received an Army-Navy award for its war products that proved to be fundamental, like the B-29 bomber engines and anti-aircraft ammunition.

The company also produced small arms and ammunition during this time. Their developments, reliability, and fast-paced production process added to the reasons why they received this honor after the war.

The Invention Of The First Minivan

Another significant achievement of Chrysler was when they introduced a new car body type in the 1970s, which is what we now know as the minivan. The oil crisis during this time influenced those to drive cars with better fuel economy, not too far off from consumers of 2022. The initial units of the Chrysler minivans included the Dodge Caravan and Plymouth Voyager.

Eventually, this advancement would be implemented by various car manufacturers, with nearly every car company from coast to coast involving a minivan, or at least a crossover SUV, in its lineup.

Off-Road Vehicles

During the 1970s and 1980s, Chrysler Automobiles expanded into more adventurous territories when they purchased the American Motors Company, which are the producers of Eagles and Jeep. This ownership proved to be an asset for Chrysler when they began making off-road vehicles with the Jeep brand. They also implemented a 7-year warranty system, becoming a standard on their vehicles.

During this same year, Chrysler acquired AMC, which they got through their ownership of Lamborghini. While the partnership ceased in 1994, both companies were able to profit significantly.

Several Awards

Over the year, Chrysler’s achievements have earned them much esteem and honors both in and outside the automotive industry. For instance, the 2017 Chrysler Pacifica minivan was deemed one of the Best family cars. On top of this, the Pacifica, along with the 300 and 200 sedans, have become highly sought after by consumers over the years, winning several family car awards.

The Early Fostering Of EVs

Last on our list is the early fosterage of electric vehicles or EVs. A lesser-known fact about Chrysler is that it arrived early on the EV scene, as the company presented the Dodge EPIC minivan in 1992. Additionally, they were able to sell a few units of Chrysler’s TEVan in 1992.

At the current moment, the company is selling its Chrylser Pacifica Hybrid model while also putting heavy promotion into its upcoming fully electric Airflow car.

Why The Chrysler 300C Is The All-American 4-Door Muscle Car

The iconic four-door muscle car, otherwise known as the Chrysler 300C, has had a long history of using its distinctive niche in the luxury performance car market. While this niche is relatively small, as it doesn’t even officially qualify as a muscle car, it certainly has qualities that make it hard to tell the difference.

The automaker revived its 300 series in 2004 as a contemporary version of its classic 1950s model. This proved to be an intelligent move for Chrysler, as this high-performance variant quickly gained popularity due to its spacious and comfortable design and overall sportiness.

The New Classic

The classic 300 series began in 1955, and it was during this time these sedans were referred to as “letter cars,” starting from A-L. The discontinuation of this series would occur ten years later.

These models were large but powerful cars, displaying the importance of the luxury element and performance. An exhilarating 6.8-liter V8 powertrain powered these cars.

From the start, the first letter car, the 300A, produced 300 hp from a 5.4-liter V8 and 2-speed automatic transmission.

After a few decades, the company’s 300M sedan was a funky and fresh 4-door car with an exterior design that was nearly guaranteed to turn heads. This bad boy drove with a 3.5-liter V6 with 255 hp and front-wheel-drive (FWD).

Thankfully, Chrysler decided to give the 300 brand the ultimate rival and bring an ultra-modern version of the letter cars back to life by 2004 with the joint venture of Mercedes-Benz and Chrysler.

This large, 4-door model had design elements derived from the original 300 but updated for the early 2000s and beyond. At the time, the base engine only provided 190 hp from its 2.7-liter V6. All-wheel-drive (AWD) was optional, and the muscle-like car involved some themes from the Mercedes-Benz S-Class and E-Class.

The 300C’s Hemi-Powered V8

Promoted as a premium trim level with enhanced performance, the 300C proved to be all that, and the car would share more elements from its ancestors five decades before. These elements include a 5.7-liter HEMI V8 that initially had 340 hp and a four-speed automatic transmission.

Internally, features like electric windows, heated and electric seats, cruise control, climate control, premium hi-fi systems, and others would aid in maintaining the level of opulence that mesmerized the masses, especially those who understood the nostalgia of the 50’s letter cars.

The 300 C’s Hemi V8 may have the ability to get to 60 mph in close to 6.3 seconds, which sounds like figures of a modern pony car but without the 2-door coupe design.

As one should expect, the Chrysler 300 SRT-8 is set to be on sale during the same time in this first generation of the updated 300 series, using a 6.1-liter HEMI V8 that zooms non 425 hp and 420 lb-ft. While sending power to the rear wheels, the car can zoom from 0-60 mph in just 5 seconds, adding even more street cred to its muscle car persona.

The 2023 Chrysler 300C Prepares For Its Glorious Exit

The 2023 Chrysler 300C Sells Out In 12 Hours

Chrysler proves that it knows how to make a dramatic exit, as the last rendition of its 300C was able to sell out 2,200 models in only twelve hours. After the reveal of its 2023 200 C performance sedans on September 13 at 6 PM EDT, an independent page on the automaker’s website went live, giving way for interested buyers to claim one. The link is actually still up and running, and that’s despite all of the reservations having been claimed, however, one can still put their name on a waiting list.

Those who weren’t lucky enough to get first dibs on the newest Chrysler 300C may still have an opportunity, as it is likely that there will be some who will cancel their preorders. Chrysler CEO Chris Feuell recently spoke with MotorTrend, telling them that all 2,000 vehicles are on their way to North America, and the additional 200 units have been claimed after placing an undisclosed deposit. The car offered bold color choices such as Bright White, Velvet Red, and Gloss Black, with red Brembo brake calipers along with a new tri-color 300C badge.

The full-size 300C sedan is indeed the last act for the vehicle, as it will enter retirement after the 2023 model year. This high-performance version is priced at about $55,000, (plus destination fee) and is set to arrive to buyers next spring. The non-C version is still available for next year with hardly any changes implemented to it, although the base Touring trim can now be had with the optional SafetyTec Plus. It comes with automatic wipers with front and rear park assist, together with auto high beams, adaptive cruise control, and Forward Collision Warning with Active Braking. The automaker also includes a six-speaker Alpine sound system with a 276-watt amplifier.

Upgrading to the HEMI-powered 300C allows for a more exhilarating performance, in spite of such a large and hefty sedan that has been around for what feels like eons. It zooms to 60 mph in 4.3 seconds and accomplishes the quarter mile in 12.4 seconds before hitting its max of 160 mph. This performance can be traced back to the HEMI 6.4-liter V8 that rates at 485 hp and 475 lb-ft transferred to the rear wheels via an eight-speed automatic transmission.

Chrysler hasn’t said much yet about what else to expect begone the 300 nameplate, however, Feuell has been quoted in a press release claiming that the company will transform with “a fully electrified future.” The Airflow crossover concept from the 2022 Consumer Electronics Show appeared close to production and we have good reason to believe it will be part of the Chrylser EV lineup.

Surplus performance features encompass red 4-piston Brembo brakes, a 3.09 limited-slip differential, active damping suspension and black, rounded exhaust tips that lay emphasis on an active exhaust system, delivering a muscular, throaty sound.

A new version of the tri-color 300C badge dolls up the outer body on the grille and rear decklid, with the 300C journeying on 20-by-9-inch, forged wheels with all-season performance tires. The exterior has black chrome accents on the grille and lower fascia, along with black headlamps and taillamp bezels. Three available exterior colors for the 300C include Gloss Black, Velvet Red, and Bright White.

In the cabin, black Laguna leather front seats are engraved with the new 300C logo and further embossed with special silver stitching. Silver stitching also makes its way to the doors and leather instrument panel, with touches of carbon fiber and Piano Black on the interior bezels.

The 300C carries a luxury 19-speaker Harman Kardon audio system, and the 8.4-inch Uconnect infotainment system, along with standard Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. A few standard safety gadgets include Advanced brake assist, Lane Departure Warning Plus, and Full Speed Collision Warning Plus while comforts encompass a heated steering wheel and heated and ventilated front seats.

The 2022 Chrysler Pacifica Continues To Set The Standard In 2022

Since its introduction onto the market in 2017, the Chrysler Pacifica minivan was and remains one of the most multifaceted vehicles on the market. Its ability to haul large families and provide practicality, comfort, and top-notch features allowed this vehicle to stand the test of time.

In 2022, the Chrysler Pacifica is still considered the ideal standard for the minivan segment. Let’s explore all that it has to offer.

2022 Chrysler Pacifica

There are three basic engine setups for the latest and greatest Pacifica minivan: a gasoline engine with front-wheel drive, a plug-in hybrid drivetrain with front-wheel drive, and a gasoline engine with all-wheel drive. Every one of these configurations utilizes a 3.6-liter V6 engine in various tunings. The gas-powered models use a 9-speed automatic transmission, while the PHEV (plug-in electric vehicle) makes use of a transmission and electric motor combination called an EVT (electrical variable transmission).

The best aspect of today’s minivans is that they often stow the third row beneath the floor for a flat loading surface. This has now become a standard in every minivan in the current market. However, the Pacifica is the only model that makes it possible for the middle row to be down into the floor along with the third row. This configuration allows for accessibility for the whole cabin, even more than the cargo area. Other vans usually only either have the seats of the second row pushed forward or necessitate the occupants to remove the seats entirely. The Pacifica model that does not have this feature is the PHEV version.

Moving on from its practicality and looks, this year’s Pacifica minivan has another defining element about itself: its close connection with Dodge and its engine output. While the Pacifica is no muscle car, those who have driven it can’t deny that it’s got a lot of kick. The engine has a pleasant noise in the cabin when pushing hard on the pedal, and the transmission in the gas-powered model makes no issue lowering its heart to a feistier push.

The Chrysler Pacifica is known for being easy to drive. The automaker also incorporated n intelligent steering system that enables the front tires to turn sharper at lower speeds, giving the car an excellent turning radius. Visibility also fairs well, and the optional 360-degree cameras make parking a breeze.

On the daily, there are many things to love about the latest Pacifica. The brand’s newest Uconnect infotainment system is top-notch. Seating is also very comfortable, even for the third row. Rear seats involve plugs for devices and storage spaces, with a plethora of drink holders.

The 2022 Chrysler Pacifica starts at about $39,000 (plus destination fee), while the PHEV hybrid model starts close to $50,000 (plus destination fee.
