Chrysler Showcases Its Synthesis Cockpit Demonstrator At The CES 2023

Chrysler Synthesis Cockpit Demonstrator

Last week, Wednesday (January 4), Chrysler introduced their Synthesis Cockpit demonstrator at the 2023 CES (Consumer Electronics Show), providing a progressive glimpse into the company’s future and tasting the first implementation of new Stellantis technologies for the U.S. The Chrysler Synthesis shows the application of the brand’s modern, technologically-advanced and ecological interior design.

The Chrysler Synthesis displays intricate technologies, particularly with the brand’s AI-powered platforms: TLA Smart Cockpit, STLA Brain, and STLA AutoDrive. These technologies are integral in fusing contemporary and high-class design with intelligible, futuristic technology and features. The Synthesis platform helps make sense of everyday life and thoughtfully manage human-related friction through its technologies.

The two-seater Synthesis also demonstrates the next step in the car manufacturer’s electric transformation, expanding on the reveal of the Chrysler Airflow Concept at CES 2022, along with the announcement that the company will release its first battery-electric car in 2025 and a full battery-electric lineup in 2028. The automaker’s gradual move towards a fully-electric future lines up with their strategic Dare Forward 2030 plan revealed by Stellantis last year, mapping out the automaker’s steps for the future.

“For nearly 100 years, Chrysler has created innovative products and technologies for mainstream customers. Chrysler will continue that legacy of innovation as the first to launch the STLA Smart Cockpit in North America. The Chrysler Synthesis shown at CES 2023 represents the future of Chrysler brand design, technology, and customer experience by introducing customer-centric design and intuitive, seamlessly connected technology for real life,” said Chris Feuell, Chrysler brand CEO – Stellantis. “Chrysler is focused on delivering Harmony In Motion for every aspect of the customer experience with the product, technology, purchase, and ownership experiences, resulting in harmony with the planet, our products, services, and customer experiences.”

Chrysler Airflow Concept

The Chrysler Airflow concept is the first step towards the brand paving the way towards electrified glory. The brand has stayed committed to releasing its first battery-electric vehicle (BEV) in 2025, offering a fully sustainable portfolio in 2028.

The Airflow Concept showcases all the ways to make the driver’s digital lifestyle easier via its in-car experience. This EV has several display screens for the driver and front-seat passenger, a central infotainment display, ad rear-seats. The company says these screens have a new software interface that can download over-the-air updates.

In the early stages of the development of the Airflow, there were numerous design styles for the concept, together with the original concept revealed at CES 2022. This also included the alternative version of the model that was introduced at the 2022 New York International Auto Show.

For the CES 2023, the Chrysler Synthesis that was on display derived from the Chrysler Airflow design, demonstrating the next step in the company’s move forward into a fully-electric lineup and acting as a sampling of the brand’s future design language.

The 2023 Chrysler Pacifica Still Has New Tricks

The 2023 Chrysler Pacifica has reached its seventh anniversary for its latest generation, a year past when a vehicle would get a total revamp. Regardless, this minivan has been so well crafted that it remains a top competitor in its segment, both in gasoline and especially in hybrid form.

Updates For 2023

The newest Pacifica receives a new Road Tripper package for this upcoming year. This package will be made available on the Touring L trim levels, in both gasoline and hybrid models, adding intricate graphics and wheels in Luster Gray with orange highlights. The exterior has a “Granite Crystal” trim, all-weather floor mats, and a roof rack. The gas-only Pacifica also involves the Trailer Tow Group.

Interior and In-Car Technologies

The interior of the Pacifica minivan will surely be a pleasure for all aboard. There’s more than enough room for one to stretch their legs and several storage spaces; it’s also quite visually appealing. The cup holders are also a nice touch, as they’re big lodge two 32-ounce Nalgene water bottles. Many will be pleased with the materials, particularly the perforated leather seats, smooth leather steering wheel, and charming stitching on the Limited model, with the luxury only intensifying in the top-ranking Pinnacle van. This model tracks on quilted leather seats and matching cushions for the second row.

Concerning the tech features, the UConnect infotainment system remains quick in its responses and is user-friendly with its layout. This large 10.1-inch screen, wireless Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto serve as the highlighting front-row feature. Wireless smartphone charging is also an option, while higher trim levels can be geared with a rear-seat entertainment system with screens fixed in both front seats. Another cool feature is the available FamCam that allows those up front to monitor the tiny critters from the central infotainment screen. It’s worth noting, however, that several features are restricted to the upper trims.

Fuel economy, Electric Range, and Performance Specs

The Chrysler Pacifica’s base engine s a 3.6-liter V6 with an output of 287 horsepower and 262 lb-ft of torque. It’s matched to a 9-speed automatic transmission. All models pair up with front-wheel-drive (FWD) or all-wheel-drive (AWD). The EPA-estimated fuel economy comes out to 19 mpg city, 28 mpg highway, 22 mpg combined with FWD, and 17/25/20 mpg with AWD.

The Hybrid minivan is a plug-in vehicle. Plug-ins like this have a large battery pack that can produce 32 miles of fully-electric range. All one needs to do is refresh the range is plug it into a charging station, likely by an at-home charger. Ultimately, using both electric motors and a 3.6-liter V6 allows it to achieve an EPA-estimated 30 mpg in combined driving.

The Chrysler 300 SRT8 Is A Vintage Gold Mine

The Hemi-powered Chrysler 300 SRT8 was produced from 2005 to 2014, using the same engine and platform as the Dodge Charger. This sedan introduced itself as a deluxe take on American muscle cars, implementing several interior conveniences.

It’s been eight years since the most potent version of the regular 300 sedans left the assembly line, and while the automaker is constructing the last Hemi version of the 300 C Sedan for the 2023 model year, the early-gen 300 SRT8 is still a sight for sore eyes. Let’s explore why.

The Chrysler 300 SRT8 Is Furiously Fast

In 2005, Chrysler revealed its 300 sedans with a plethora of powertrain options, from a lackluster V6 to a range-topping 5.7-liter Hemi V8 that produced 340 horsepower and 390 lb-ft of torque in the 300 C. While it certainly got a good performance out of the vehicle, Chrysler leveraged its ever-powerful 6.1-liter Hemi engine and decided to pair it to its luxury sedan, ultimately birthing the 300 SRT8. This bad mama produced 425 horsepower and 420 lb-ft of torque. Overall, this vehicle could speed from 0-60 mph in 4.9 seconds.

In 2011, the company reworked the 300 car for its second-gen, flaunting an updated exterior and interior through another high-performance SRT8 variant. Only this time, this second interaction of the SRT8 was involved with the brand’s 6.4-liter 392 Hemi V8 engine. Once again, it shared the same engine as the Dodge Challenger and Charger SRT8 variants, producing a maximum output of 470 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque, allowing the vehicle to zoom from 0-60 mph in around 4.3 seconds. The new-gen of the 300 SRT8 also had a new and refined transmission, taking the form of an 8-speed automatic introduced in the BMW series.

The Second-Gen Chrysler 300 SRT8 Provided The Ultimate Bargain

The first-generation 300 SRT8 was a great executor of power. However, the cabin’s build quality didn’t embody the brand’s posh and refined reputation, especially since the interior was filled with cheap plastics and rubbers. The company quickly changed its tune with the release of the second-generation 2011 300 SRT8, providing it with suave styling, a high-end interior, along with some practical technological features.

From the outside looking in, the 300 models could be a sibling of the Dodge Charger, with the sole difference being less muscular body panels which made for a more upscale look. It came with LED headlights and taillights, and the SRT8 had a few refined touches like black chrome inserts, 4-inch dual exhaust tips, refashioned front fascia panels with body-colored inserts, and a decklid spoiler.

The Chrysler 300 SRT8 Is Still A Gem Today

Around the time of its release, the second-gen Chrysler 300 SRT8 had a starting price of around $48,000 (plus destination fee), slightly less than its opulent Dodge Charger counterpart. Today, contingent on mileage and the overall condition of each example, one can likely obtain a 300 SRT8 between about $26,000 and $37,000. This is undoubtedly considered a bargain in today’s economy, mainly because it’s a luxury vehicle.

All Of The Ways To Benefit From Chrysler’s Extended Warranty

If you recently bought a new car, particularly a Chrysler model, the last thing you’re likely thinking of is what repairs need to be done. Still, the brand’s extended warranty plans are genuinely one of the first things to consider after a new purchase.

What Does Chrysler Extended Warranty Entail?

The extended warranty of the Chrysler brand, otherwise dubbed as a vehicle service contract, is an optional plan one can obtain to help with the payment for certain repairs that they might need. New Chrysler vehicles bring along a new car warranty, and when it hits its expiration date, an extended warranty occurs where the factory coverage ceases.

The extended warranty plans are sold and governed by Mopar, Chrysler’s automotive parts and accessories division. These warranties are involved in all brands of Stellantis: Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram, Fiat, and Alfa Romeo.

Extended Warranty Plans

Most people prefer to have more coverage than the basic factory warranty. For this reason, Moper offers two options for Chrysler’s extended warranty for reasonably new models, reaching the manufacturer’s expiration date: Maximum Care and Added Care Plus.

Maximum Care

Mopar always says, “If it’s mechanical, it’s covered,” When referring to Chrysler’s extended warranty. Over 5000 mechanical components are protected, allowing consumers access to different terms and deductibles. It guarantees that which follows:

  • Coverage up to 8 years/125,000 miles
  • Comprehensive coverage for over 5,000 critical components
  • Certified, factory-trained, expert technicians
  • $200, $100, or $0 deductible
  • Service at dealerships throughout the U.S.
  • Some of the assets involved with the Maximum Care plan are car rental and towing allowance, roadside assistance, key fob repair/replacement, and trip interruption protection.

This contract can provide more protection for your brakes, engine, and other components when your factory’s warranty expires.

New vehicles backed by their original factory 5-year/60,000-mile powertrain warranty Can still get the maximum care coverage plan within three years/36,000 miles of the vehicle’s in-service date.

Should your Chrysler vehicle have had a previous owner, there is also a pre-owned coverage from Mopar. After examining the car, one can obtain protection reigning ten years before the current model year. Coverage is varied based on the present warranty.

Added Care Plus

One can lengthen the coverage of their powertrain or as many as 800 significant components using Mopar’s Added Care Plus plan, available with several different terms and deductibles. The brand’s extended warranty advantages include a car rental allowance, towing, roadside assistance, and trip interruption coverage.

New vehicles backed by a 5-year/60,000-mile or more extended powertrain warranty are qualified to purchase this coverage within three years/36,000 miles of the car’s in-service date. For pre-owned models, Added Care Plus coverage scales from 1 to 5 years, with mileage spanning 12,000, 15,000, or unlimited miles.

Mopar provides various term options for Added Care Plus warranty coverage:

  • 60,000 miles
  • 75,000 miles
  • 85,000 miles
  • 100,000 miles
  • 125,000 miles
  • 150,000 miles

Depending on your plan, deductibles can span from $200, $100, or $0 of the total cost of backed component repairs. Advantages include towing and roadside assistance, trip interruption protection, key fob repair/replacement, car rental allowance, and transfer of warranty ownership (that requires a fee). It’s also worth noting that not all these plans are transferable.

The 2023 Chrysler 300C Prepares For Its Glorious Exit

The 2023 Chrysler 300C Sells Out In 12 Hours

Chrysler proves that it knows how to make a dramatic exit, as the last rendition of its 300C was able to sell out 2,200 models in only twelve hours. After the reveal of its 2023 200 C performance sedans on September 13 at 6 PM EDT, an independent page on the automaker’s website went live, giving way for interested buyers to claim one. The link is actually still up and running, and that’s despite all of the reservations having been claimed, however, one can still put their name on a waiting list.

Those who weren’t lucky enough to get first dibs on the newest Chrysler 300C may still have an opportunity, as it is likely that there will be some who will cancel their preorders. Chrysler CEO Chris Feuell recently spoke with MotorTrend, telling them that all 2,000 vehicles are on their way to North America, and the additional 200 units have been claimed after placing an undisclosed deposit. The car offered bold color choices such as Bright White, Velvet Red, and Gloss Black, with red Brembo brake calipers along with a new tri-color 300C badge.

The full-size 300C sedan is indeed the last act for the vehicle, as it will enter retirement after the 2023 model year. This high-performance version is priced at about $55,000, (plus destination fee) and is set to arrive to buyers next spring. The non-C version is still available for next year with hardly any changes implemented to it, although the base Touring trim can now be had with the optional SafetyTec Plus. It comes with automatic wipers with front and rear park assist, together with auto high beams, adaptive cruise control, and Forward Collision Warning with Active Braking. The automaker also includes a six-speaker Alpine sound system with a 276-watt amplifier.

Upgrading to the HEMI-powered 300C allows for a more exhilarating performance, in spite of such a large and hefty sedan that has been around for what feels like eons. It zooms to 60 mph in 4.3 seconds and accomplishes the quarter mile in 12.4 seconds before hitting its max of 160 mph. This performance can be traced back to the HEMI 6.4-liter V8 that rates at 485 hp and 475 lb-ft transferred to the rear wheels via an eight-speed automatic transmission.

Chrysler hasn’t said much yet about what else to expect begone the 300 nameplate, however, Feuell has been quoted in a press release claiming that the company will transform with “a fully electrified future.” The Airflow crossover concept from the 2022 Consumer Electronics Show appeared close to production and we have good reason to believe it will be part of the Chrylser EV lineup.

The 6.4L HEMI-powered 2023 Chrysler 300C pays homage to the Chrysler 300 as we reach an end of an area. The Chrysler 300 production will cease following the 2023 model year. First brought to the public in 1955 and reborn in 2005, the Chrysler 300 has acted as an important figure in American luxury and performance for decades.

“We’re celebrating the Chrysler 300 and its iconic legacy in the automotive world,” said Chris Feuell, Chrysler brand chief executive officer. “The Chrysler 300 changed the automotive world in so many ways, and we will carry that spirit of ingenuity forward as we transform Chrysler with a fully electrified future and breakthrough customer experiences.”

2023 Chrysler 300C

The 2023 Chrysler 300C esteems the 300 model with a limited-production run. This special model will only offer 2,000 units in North America and another 200 in Canada.

The 6.4L V-8 HEMI engine will mark the final version of the U.S.’s big and radical sedan, generating an even more sensational 485 horsepower and 475 lb-ft of torque, and bringing the 300C from 0 to 60 mph in just 4.3 seconds. The newest 2023 Chrysler 300 can journey the quarter-mile in 12.4 seconds and can obtain a top speed of 160 mph.

The naturally aspirated engine is joined with a TorqueFlite 8-speed transmission that invigorates fuel economy while offering a max performance with 160-millisecond shifts. Surplus performance features encompass red 4-piston Brembo brakes, a 3.09 limited-slip differential, active damping suspension and black, rounded exhaust tips that lay emphasis on an active exhaust system, delivering a muscular, throaty sound.

A new version of the tri-color 300C badge dolls up the outer body on the grille and rear decklid, with the 300C journeying on 20-by-9-inch, forged wheels with all-season performance tires. The exterior has black chrome accents on the grille and lower fascia, along with black headlamps and taillamp bezels. Three available exterior colors for the 300C include Gloss Black, Velvet Red, and Bright White.

In the cabin, black Laguna leather front seats are engraved with the new 300C logo and further embossed with special silver stitching. Silver stitching also makes its way to the doors and leather instrument panel, with touches of carbon fiber and Piano Black on the interior bezels.

The 300C carries a luxury 19-speaker Harman Kardon audio system, and the 8.4-inch Uconnect infotainment system, along with standard Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. A few standard safety gadgets include Advanced brake assist, Lane Departure Warning Plus, and Full Speed Collision Warning Plus while comforts encompass a heated steering wheel and heated and ventilated front seats.

Stellantis Is Making An $83 Million Investment At The Dundee Engine Plant

Stellantis’s Hybrid-Based Investment

It was recently announced that Stellantis, Chrysler’s parent company, will be taking advantage of the Dundee Engine Plant for the production of two future hybrid electric models. The car factory in Dundee, Michigan is being reworked to act as the final assembly location for a 4-cylinder motor meant for two hybrids coming to the States.

As stated by a news release, the plant will experience an $83 million investment, with the production of the engine set to begin in early 2025.

The new 4-cylinder 1.6-liter turbocharged motor will be inspired by the current Stellantis engine in Europe and will be adaptable for hybrid-electric, or HEV, vehicle applications, according to the company. Stellantis says that this will be the first HEV engine for them in the region. The multinational automaker currently owns the Jeep, Ram, Chrysler, Dodge, Fiat, Alfa Romeo, and Maserati brands.

“The Michigan plant will continue production of the 3.6-liter Pentastar Upgrade for the Jeep Grand Cherokee and Jeep Grand Cherokee L. The Tigershark 2.4-liter I-4 engine will build out in the first quarter of 2023,” the company said.

It is not expected that the investment will not experience an impact on the number of full-time positions at the plant, as stated by spokeswoman Jodi Tinson. Since June, Dundee has 987 workers under them (853 hourly and 134 salaried), as stated by the company.

This is the largest piece of a total $99 million investment for Dundee that was announced by Stellantis, which the car manufacturer matched to its Dare Forward 2030 business plan. The release stated the company would also finance over $14 million at the Kokomo Casting Plant in Indiana to transfigure die-cast machines and cells for the new engine, as well as $2 million at Etobicoke Casting in Toronto for advancements and new tooling to produce the engine’s new oil pans.

UAW (United Automobile Workers) President Ray Curry addressed the announcement in a statement, saying that “when companies invest in UAW facilities, they are recognizing that UAW members add value to the company’s success.”

UAW Vice President Cindy Estrada, who heads the Stellantis Department for the union, said that it was great news.

“This investment in a new four-cylinder engine will add job security for the members who continue to build ICE products as the industry transitions to electrification. The hard work and dedication of the UAW Stellantis membership to build great products with world class quality has been recognized and rewarded today,” Estrada said in a statement, referring to the abbreviation for the internal combustion engine.

Chrysler Files To Trademark Its Airflow Concept

The Chrysler Airflow concept has been the focal point of a recent application for patent filing with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), however, it’s still not clear if the car company is considering a production version.

It was Jan 3rd, 2020, when the application was filed and then published on May 3, 2022, covering the ornamental design for an automobile,” and involves images of the Airflow electric SUV concept that has already been shown publicly, twice within the past few months.

The concept, which gets its moniker from Chrysler’s inventive aerodynamic models from the 1930s, was originally shown at the 2022 Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in January. The lustrous crossover has an electric motor (worth 201 horsepower) that activates each axle and supposedly has a range between 350 miles and 400 miles.

Outside of the powertrain, the Airflow may also have new connectivity features that we should potentially see in Chrysler vehicles sooner rather than later. These features include an operating system dubbed the STLA Brain, which will make way for over-the-air updates.

The Airflow concept also acted as a showcase for Stellantis, Chrysler’s parent company’s new electrical architecture (STLA Brain), infotainment system (STLA SmartCockpit), and driver-assist technology (STLA AutoDrive).

The second version was introduced in April of this year at the New York auto show. Named Airflow Graphite, its changes were mainly cosmetic. Chrysler chooses to implement a new black exterior and Gray interior, with divergent copper accents from the inside-out. The company also expressed during this time that the Airflow was made in a way in which more powerful motors could be outfitted, perhaps for a performance version.

On top of this, the Airflow Graphite features a new Galaxy Black exterior with a Cyprus Copper interior. Accents on the outer body accentuate the sleekness and refined aura of this darkened concept. It was derived from the idea of sophistication and an urban feel, making one feel, “at home navigating amid big city skylines” as said by the parent company’s media site, Stellantis Media.

Chrysler has remained hush-hush regarding its plans for a production version of its Airflow concept. Seeing that the application for the patent was filed two years ago, Chrysler was likely trying to protect the design to use on concept models. The automaker confirmed that it will release its first production EV in 2025, and will only sell electric vehicles in 2028. Those electrics will be derived from four modular platforms from Stellantis, which were revealed in July 2021 of last year.

Miami Lakes Chrysler

Although we may have to wait a while for Chrysler’s new electric concept, you’ll never have to wait for anything at Miami Lakes Automall. We sell a superb bundle of vehicles from the brand that range in various shapes and prices, such as their Pacifica Hybrid minivan or full-size 300 sedan.

The Fully Electric Chrysler Pacifica Will Be Front And Center Of The Upcoming EV Lineup

The Chrysler brand is expanding its portfolio from its current two models (the 300 sedan and Pacifica minivan) to at least three. We should expect this to happen at the same time the company transitions into a fully electric car manufacturer from 2025-2028.

These models will have new nameplates and body styles, with the addition of a crossover developed upon the Chrysler Airflow concept. At the same time, one model that is supposed to stay true to its roots is the Pacifica. When the company becomes fully electrified, this minivan will continue to act as the commander and chief of the lineup.

“Since we reinvented and established the minivan category 40 years ago, we will keep it,” Chrysler Brand CEO Christine Feuell tells MotorTrend in an interview. But it will be re-conceptualized. “Our aspiration is not to just tweak the existing Pacifica and put a battery pack in it. We created the segment. We want to recreate the segment with a new offering that is more modern, certainly electrified, and gives those customers the best combination of interior comfort and versatility as well as the connected technology to make their riding and driving experience best in class.”

Sliding Doors Are A Must-Have

The electric minivan will keep its sliding doors and implement new features like the temperature-controlled frunk (trunk in the front) to store your groceries.

“I don’t see sliding doors going away,” Feuell says. Indeed these doors are one of the main selling points of the Pacifica, as they are quite practical and make it easier to enter and exit the vehicle. Even SUVs offer conventionally hinged doors for those who want them.

Storage space and its artful placement are a must-have for family vehicles, and going electric creates the opportunity for spaces that previously weren’t even possible. We are rethinking frunk ingenuity and what can we do with that space to optimize both storage and functionality,” Feuell says. While some EVs are using the space once occupied by an engine to house electronics or other components, Chrysler will keep it open. “Our intention is to make it a useful, functional space people can use.” Feuell thinks of it as a surprise and delight feature, even more so with aerodynamic, fastback designs on electric vehicles which lessen space in the rear and have personal items exposed with no cover. “The frunk becomes this secure, lockable storage area where you can put your valuables. We are looking at temperature-control options if people want to store food or groceries while shopping around.”

As for the design, one should be on the lookout for the design language and tech features from the Airflow concept to make its way to the new group of EVs. The Airflow was shown as a sleek and posh crossover with 22-inch wheels, a panoramic roof, and a roomy interior with lines that go through the cockpit and persist down the body sides. This concept also has two electric motors and plenty of gadgetry including the STLA SmartCockpit to make it an overall well-connected vehicle. “You’re definitely seeing more harmony and family lineage in the design language and technology integration from vehicle to vehicle of the Chrysler brand,” the CEO says.

The Pacifica Keeps Its Name

One should also expect the Pacifica moniker to stay. “The Pacifica name carries a lot of value,” Feuell says. “At this point I don’t see a need to change that name with the evolution of a redefined minivan.”

“We are putting PHEV front and center in our marketing message now,” Feuell says, talking up the fact the Pacifica plug-in hybrid minivan has more than 30 miles of electric range, over 50 miles of the average range, and surpasses 500 miles of total range.

Minivan Manufacturing Plans

At the current moment, the Chrysler Pacifica is made in Windsor, Ontario. Before the recent inception of Jeep 4xe plug-ins, it was the only electric vehicle that was available in North America from the parent company, Stellantis.

It is expected that the Windsor plant will also make the fully electric Pacifica model when it’s time. This calculator is further enforced by Stellantis’s decision to back $4.1 billion in a joint venture battery cell plant with LG Energy Solution in Windsor. It’s also expected that a second EV will be added to the Windsor plant, specifically in 2024 when the battery plant is in working order.

Feuell, however, has not confirmed manufacturing plans for the Pacifica but does say that many plants will need to be retooled to make EVs as each of the 14 brands under Stellantis migrate to an electric vehicle lineup. Either way, there are definitely secure plans in the works for the Windsor plant, along with its number of vehicle options.

Miami Lakes Chrysler

It will take a few years for a fully revamped Chrysler lineup, but that doesn’t mean that you have to wait to experience the electrification that they have in store. Miami Lakes Automall carries a wide range of brands, including the Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid. This minivan carries nearly all of the gadgets and gizmos found on its gasoline-powered counterpart, and has great fuel economy figures.

The Chrysler Airflow Reconceptualized In A Graphite Form

Last week, (Apr, 13), Chrysler unveiled its Graphite-formed version of its fully-electric Airflow Concept, specifically at the 2022 New York International Auto Show.

Originally presented at the 2022 Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, the Chrysler Airflow Concept was re-introduced in a new Graphite formation, offering a redefining what the future of the brand looks like as it heads towards an eco-friendly future.

This new version of the Airflow features a new Galaxy Black exterior with a Cyprus Copper interior. Accents on the outer body accentuate the sleekness and refined aura of the Graphite Concept’s official global auto show introduction.

The automaker also revealed at CES in January that it would launch its first battery-electric vehicle (BEV) by 2025 and offer a fully-electrified vehicle lineup for Chrysler by 2028.

“The Chrysler Airflow Graphite Concept, the latest version of our all-electric concept, represents the many possibilities on our brand’s road to an all-electric future,” said Chris Feuell, Chrysler brand CEO – Stellantis. “This new persona of the Airflow highlights the flexibility of the Chrysler brand’s future design direction and our ability to create personalities reflective of our diverse customers. As our brand evolves to offer a full battery-electric vehicle portfolio, we are completely rethinking and reinventing the customer experience. Project Ingenuity is an initiative in which we collaborate with customers on our future innovations and services, offering uniquely personalized and delightful customer experiences throughout the purchase, service and ownership journey.”

Chrysler Airflow Graphite Concept

During the early stages of the development of the Airflow, there were a slew of possible designs for the fully-electric model, which included the Chrysler Airflow Graphite Concept.

The revamped Airflow Graphite Concept involves a Galaxy Black exterior body color. It was derived from the idea of sophistication and an urban feel, making one feel, “at home navigating amid big city skylines” as said by the parent company’s media site, Stellantis Media. The Galaxy Black hue also has a dramatic contrast to the Arctic White exterior that was initially shown on the Airflow Concept at CES.

This new exterior paint job is combined with Cyprus Copper accents on the outside, as well as the inside, to mark the Graphite Concept with its own cultured and polished design. The  Cyprus Copper accents also highlight the top of the panoramic glass roof, along with the certain surfaces of the 22-inch wheels.

The interior of the latest Airflow interaction can be described as regal and spacious. It implements the light Ice Grey and warm Cyprus Copper accents to create a rich and deluxe feel. This cabin exudes the essence of a first-class lounge and provides the ultimate comfort, acting as a sort of home away from home. There are also premium features and finishes, which involve sustainable materials and a soothing color palette, which only enhances the comforting feel.
