The 2022 Chrysler 300 Trim By Trim

Monday, May 9th, 2022

The 2022 Chrysler 300 is the American standard of what a luxury sedan should look and act like. It’s currently available in a 300 Touring, 300 Touring L, and fast-paced 300S. Choosing between these all depends on one budget and particular preferences, here are some elements to consider.

2022 Chrysler 300 Touring

MSRP at $35,140

The 300 Touring is the entry-level model of the 300 lineup. It comes with the famous and trustworthy 3.6L Pentastar V6 engine, with a stellar output of 292 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque. The motor is also paired to an 8-speed automatic transmission, which according to Consumer Reports, allows for faster acceleration. On top of this, the Touring model amounts to a suitable 22 mpg combined.

This big brute also comes with an expansive interior and comfortable seating. The interior also features an easy-to-use Uconnect 4C with an 8.4-inch touchscreen and backup camera. Users will find that the Uconnect is highly intelligent and compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

2022 Chrysler Touring L

MSRP at $38,340

The 300 Touring L is a bit of an upgrade from the base Touring, as it consists of plushy leather upholstery, heated seats, and a set of glossy 18-inch wheels. It is worth noting, however, that there is no optional V8 for the Touring L as it also journeys with the Pentastar V6 and 8-speed automatic transmission. The all-wheel-drive (AWD) system also serves as an option for Touring L and Touring trims, which consumers living in states with harsh winter conditions will appreciate.

2022 Chrysler 300S

MSRP at $43,750

The 300 S sedan is the highest and finest trim of them all. It gives its buyers the option to pick between the 3.6L V6 and the mighty 363 horsepower V8 engine. Along with the extra comfort of this model, the 300S has upgrades that are aesthetically pleasing, such as a unique grille design and wheels.

The V6 vs. The V8?

The Chrysler 300 is quite comfortable for all five of its occupants. The 300S can be had with the optional V8 engine. In comparison, the V6 accelerates the 300 to 60 mph in just 6.3 seconds, while the V8 equipped 300S will zoom out in 5.3 seconds. One should know that V8 buyers will end up trading fuel economy for horsepower, as the V8 requires a lot more energy than the Pentastar.

The V8 motor is also matched with an 8-speed automatic transmission, perfect for making smooth shifts and cruising along the freeway. Along with its high-life performance, the engineers have tuned its suspension into one made for a race car driver. The 300S also has a sport mode with paddle shifters further supporting that added athleticism.

The brand that’s won many automotive awards for its family-centered features in its Pacifica minivan is highlighting pet-focused features, as well as available Mopar accessories. These tools are all meant to “purr-fectly” accommodate our four-legged companions.

These pet-centered features on the 2022 Chrysler Pacifica have earned Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS),  It’s also been the most awarded vehicle and its segment over the last six years. These in-car excitements include:

  • Rear Seat Reminder:  This new and standard feature on the Pacifica recognizes  When the rear doors are opened and closed before starting the ignition,  it then alerts the driver using a chime sound, along with a message after the completion of that trip to check the back seats for passengers and/or pets.
  • FamCAM interior camera:  This technology allows parents to monitor their little ones (human or with a tail) in the rear seats and even has a way to zoom in.
  • Stow ‘n Go seating:  The Pacifica is the only minivan available with all-wheel drive and Stow ‘n go seating.  It also has second and third road seats that fold flat into the floor, allowing for plenty of space for pet kennels or for pets to stretch a bit during long road trips.
  • Stow ‘n Go in-floor storage bins: This makes it possible for pet food and accessories to be stored under the floor, providing an organized space.
  • Stow ‘n Vac:  This vacuum cleaner does an excellent job of cleaning up the messes that your pet/s might make.
  • Hands-Free Sliding Doors/Liftgate:  This hands-free access to the minivan is done by a simple kick under the door or the liftgate, simplifying the process of handling pets and personal items when entering the Pacifica.
  • Pet Kennel: This Mopar pet kennel is lightweight and makes it possible for the safe transportation of pets and folds flat when it’s not in use.

Standard Features

There are plenty of other in-car features in store that are a bit more human-friendly. These standards include keyless entry/ignition, remote start, tri-zone automatic climate control, 8-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, active noise cancellation, folding/stowable seats in the second and third rows, and a self-dimming mirror with a remote garage door opener.

All Of The Reasons To Buy A 2022 Chrysler 300

Tuesday, April 5th, 2022

Despite the rising popularity of SUVs and crossovers, the 2022 Chrysler 300 sedan still manages to stand out… for all of the right reasons. Offered with an MSRP of $32,215, (plus destination fee), the car still has all of the great features that it had before, along with stellar driving dynamics, a spacious interior, and fun in-car features. Here are All Of The Reasons To Buy A 2022 Chrysler 300.

Optional V8 Motor

One of the most enticing features of the Chrysler 300 is its optional 5.7-liter HEMI naturally aspirated V8 engine, which is matched with a 8-speed automatic transmission. Of course, the performance is the most outstanding of its segment, with an output of 363 hp and 394 lb-ft of torque, this car can zoom from 0-60 mph in just 5.3 seconds.

The transmission is quick to respond and there is a suitable amount of grip, even for the rear-wheel-drive (RWD) model.

Enormous Cabin

Another thing that Chrysler’s 300 sedans are known for is being plentiful in cabin space. There is more than enough shoulder and headroom for five all five occupants, the best in its class. The legroom is also promising. Leather upholstery and other conveniences are also provided on higher trims.

Getting in and out of the rear seats is quite easy, especially with the car’s fairly wide opening. While inside, there is superb space and comfort for three adults, which is one area that the 300 totally dismembers the competition. Other elements like the under-thigh and lower back support are equally exceptional. Truck capacity also amounts to 16.3 cu ft.

Design That Stands The Test Of Time

It’s not often that a car company is able to create a design that is successfully recycled for years on end, but Chrysler seemingly made an evergreen style for its 300. This deluxe offering will make anyone feel like royalty. In fact, it was previously the go-to car for many celebrities and politicians from its first inception. Exterior elements like the sharp LED headlights, bold front-end design, and charming and clean character lines are what make this car an absolute head-turner.

There are six color combinations that are offered with this vehicle, all of which help highlight the All-American design language. There are also small hints and touches like 20″ wheels, chrome window lining, LED tail lights, and the blacked-out elements that just scream: “I’m important to onlookers.”

Spectacular Infotainment System

The brand’s Uconnect 8.4″ touchscreen infotainment system is a part of the many standard features across the three trims. Front seat passengers will revel in the easy-to-use and high-quality touch-sensitive interface.

With the 300, there will be plenty of entertainment options at your disposal with features such as Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, SiriusXM radio, in-dash navigation, and Bluetooth connectivity. Is worth noting, however, that some of these are only accessible through the Comfort Package. The 9-speaker Alpine audio system is also another delightful touch to the Chrysler in-car experience.

Stellantis’s $4 Billion Investment Into Windsor and U.S. Battery Plants

Friday, April 1st, 2022

Stellantis and LG Energy Solution in South Korea have announced that they are investing $4 billion to construct an electric vehicle battery plant, which will be located in Windsor, Ontario.

The parent company of Chrysler revealed their new plant Wednesday (March 23rd), and also said that they’re aiming to build a second battery plant at a location in the States, as said by Mark Stewart, chief operating officer for Stellantis in North America. He says that the investment in these places will showcase the brand’s electrification plans.

“It shows … we are absolutely committed to 50% EVs, full on (battery electric vehicles), by the end of the decade,” Stewart said during a press conference from Windsor, which aired via Facebook.

Stellantis previously revealed its agreement with Samsung SDI, a storage battery manufacturing company (based in South Korea) for the U.S., however, Stewart didn’t explicitly mention Samsung as being its additional collaborator for batteries. On top of this, the automaker is aiming for three plants in Europe, revealing in a separate announcement that it’s working to turn the brand’s Termoli plant in Italy into a battery facility, as part of a partnership with Mercedes-Benz.

Construction on the 220-acre in Windsor will likely start later this year, as production is set to launch during the first quarter of 2024, as told in a joint announcement and the press conference. It’s expected to be the first comprehensive EV battery plant in Canada, which also claims to create 2,500  new jobs.

The companies didn’t specify which vehicles would be supplied by the plant’s lithium-ion battery cells and modules, just that it would “meet a significant portion” the company’s production needs in the U.S. Regardless, in tuned with plans for an electric Ram 1500 pickup and Dodge muscle car, which are brands that Stellantis also owns.

Stewart also mentioned that the battery plant would supply the production of vehicles across the States.

Carlos Tavares, Stellantis’s CEO, talked about the company’s plans, which involve $35 billion (30 billion euros) investments, in relation to EVs, across its 14 brands through 2025.

“Our joint venture with LG Energy Solution is yet another stepping stone to achieving our aggressive electrification roadmap in the region aimed at hitting 50 percent of battery electric vehicle sales in the U.S. and Canada by the end of the decade,” Tavares said in a news release. “We are grateful to the municipal, provincial and federal levels of government for their support and commitment to help position Canada as a North American leader in the production of electric vehicle batteries.”

The release didn’t go into detail regarding the nature of public support for the operations, but it did say that every level of government was in full support of the operation.

The release also noted the Windsor region is home to Canada’s largest automotive cluster.

The global semiconductor chip shortage, along with the recent trucker protest that shut down the Ambassador Bridge, highlight the challenges the car industry has faced.

The announcement expressed that the companies “expect the plant to serve as a catalyst for the establishment of a strong battery supply chain in the region. Canada is committed to establishing a broad, local battery ecosystem by leveraging, among other things, its leadership in the generation of electricity from renewable sources.”

Youngsoo Kwon, CEO of LG Energy Solution, said “through this joint venture, LG Energy Solution will be able to position itself as a critical player in building green energy value chains in the region. Creating a joint venture battery manufacturing company in Canada, recognized as one of the leading nations in renewable energy resources, is key for LG Energy Solution as we aim to power more electric vehicles around the world.”

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau mentioned in a news release that the “announcement of a world leading facility to build electric vehicle batteries in Windsor is an investment in our workers, our communities and our future. Partnerships like these are critical to creating new jobs and putting Canada on the cutting edge of the clean economy.”

Drew Dilkens, Windsor Mayor, also shared in a news release that Stellantis is Windor’s largest employer, with Chrysler’s operations going back to 1925.

“With this announcement, we are securing the future for thousands more local workers and securing Windsor’s strategic location as the home of Canada’s electric vehicle future. As the world pivots to EVs, Windsor will soon be home to the battery manufacturing facility that powers it all,” Dilkens said in the release.

Michelle Krebs, an executive analyst for Autotrader, said the news is significant for Canadian auto workers.

“It’s good news for Stellantis’ employees in Canada, who have been worried about where they stand with their jobs. We’ll be looking forward to seeing where Stellantis will be making its EVs,” she said.

The 2022 Chrysler Pacifica Is Honored By Autotrader

Autotrader Best Car Interiors

The 2022 Chrysler Pacifica Limited has something worth being excited about, as it’s been chosen by Autotrader for a spot on its Best Car Interiors Under $50,000 for 2022 list. This ranking puts a spotlight on affordable new cars, with high-quality interiors.

“The features and quality of new-car interiors have grown by leaps and bounds over the last several years,” said Brian Moody, executive editor for Autotrader. “Even as new-car prices have increased in the last few years as a result of pandemic-induced supply shortages, car shoppers can rest assured that many of today’s affordable vehicles offer interior features that were available only on luxury vehicles not too long ago.”

Autotrader recognized the inner workings of the 2022 Chrysler Pacifica Limited for its accommodation of younger passengers, unique storage configuration, connectivity and easy-access features, during which it offered adults a premium-like design, generous seating and space, and charming finishes and materials throughout the rolling lodge. A highlight of the Pacifica is its famous and class-exclusive Stow ‘n Go seating, along with the Uconnect 5 system, which has a user experience that is truly intuitive.

Additionally, the 2022 Ram 1500 Laramie earned a spot on the list as well thanks to its standard leather-trim 40/20/40 front bench seat and six-passenger seating. According to Autotrader, the Ram 1500 Laramie cabin balances boldness and “confident elegance”. It also notes that the most intriguing interior feature is its shield-formed center stack that inholds the infotainment touchscreen and control array.

Chrysler Pacifica

Chrysler and its parent company, Stellantis, continue to make headway in the minivan segment, specifically regarding its 2022 Chrysler Pacifica. This minivan holds the rank as the first of its kind to offer both gas and hybrid powertrains, it’s also still the only minivan to offer a plug-in hybrid. The Pacifica lineup involves the deluxe Pinnacle model, which has the most affluent features in its class.

This vehicle also has a sporty exterior design, available all-wheel-drive (AWD) capability matched with the brand’s class-exclusive Stow ‘n Go seating, more standard safety features than any vehicle in the industry, a FamCAM interior camera that has a bird’s-eye view of rear-facing child-seat occupants, next-generation Uconnect 5 connectivity, capability and interior storage.

The Pacifica’s hybrid version, obviously named Pacifica Hybrid, provides over 80 miles per gallon equivalent (MPGe) in electric-only mode, a fully-electric range of over 30 miles and a total range of over 500 miles. This hybrid minivan involves a comprehensive dual-motor eFlite electrically variable transmission (EVT) matched with a purposely modified version of a 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6 gasoline engine. This powertrain helps to ease range anxiety and nearly ensures pure contentment to customers. The Pacifica Hybrid was made to provide a seamless driving experience, without requiring the driver to select between electric and hybrid modes.

Year after year, the Chrysler Pacifica maintains its status as the minivan with the most recognition for six consecutive years, with over 160 honors and industry accolades. The Chrysler brand succeeded in marketing and selling six generations of this vehicle, and innovating 117 firsts in the process, including almost 40 minivan-first features on its Pacifica. The automaker has sold over 15 million minivans globally since 1983, that’s double the amount of any other manufacturer in the past 37 years.

Stellantis Stands To Make A Big Profit From Its Electric Models

Thursday, March 10th, 2022

Stellantis’s New Business Plans

Stellantis, previously dubbed Fiat Chrysler, aims to double its net revenues, specifically 300 billion euros or $335 billion by 2030, as announced last Tuesday by CEO Carlos Tavares.

During an investor presentation, highlighting Stellantis’s business plans through 2020, Tavares said that the automaker’s strategy in doubling the operating profit margin is maintaining double digits in the operating profit margin as it makes moves to make a full-on transition to electric vehicles.

The plans mimic that of other big-name car manufacturers with examples like Volkswagen and General Motors to remain gainful while shifting to fully-electric cars. Global emission regulations have strongly led to the influence on automakers to make the electric transmission and Tesla has certainly taken the most advantage of this rise, becoming the world’s most valued car market, in regards to the market cap.

Stellantis, which is ranked as the 4th largest car manufacturer, plans on expanding its software-based companies and services, selling million fully-electric models by 2030, which also involves passenger car sales in Europe and 50 percent passenger vehicles and light-duty trucks in North America.

“We are moving, and we are moving fast to be a mobility-tech company,” Tavares said during the presentation.

Chrysler’s parent company aims to accumulate over 20 billion euros ($22.3 billion) in industrial free cash flow by 2030. On top of this, it’s aiming towards a 25-30 percent dividend payout ratio and plans on repurchasing up to 5 percent of outstanding common shares through 2025.

The company also says that they’re progressing towards carbon-neutrality by 2028, aiming towards a 50 percent reduction by 2030.

Despite these announcements, the company’s stock figures didn’t show much change. Stellantis shares from New York’s Stock Exchange actually went down 8 percent, at $16.82 a share earlier this month.

The merger of Fiat Chrysler and France-based Groupe PSA in January of last year (2021) created Stellantis. This unification resulted in 14 separate automotive brands, including Alfa Romeo, Chrysler, Dodge, Fiat, Jeep, and Peugeot.

Stellantis aims to release a minimum of 25 new fully-electric cars in North America by 2030, according to Tavares. Amid the first will be a small Jeep SUV in 2023, along with a Dodge muscle car and Ram pickup the year after. On a global scale, the automaker should be set to offer over 75 electrics by 2030.

Additionally, Stellantis is backing 30 billion euros ($34 billion) in EVs and financing technologies through 2025.

The automaker’s electrified strategy, which is close to term, is different from other car manufacturers. The reason is that it still aims to release plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEVs) in the coming years. PHEV models fuse electric systems and batteries with internal combustion engines.

The Chrysler Pacifica Is Esteemed By The IIHS As Its Rating System Changes

Wednesday, March 2nd, 2022

The IIHS Awards The Chrysler Pacifica With TOP SAFETY PICK

The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) is giving the 2022 Chrysler Pacifica high remarks this year, as the minivan received a TOP SAFETY PICK+ rating from the nonprofit organization.

This recent evaluation updates the Pacifica’s status from its performance during the 2021 model year, as vehicles that were produced after last September were also included in these rankings.

“The 2022 Chrysler Pacifica delivers on our firm commitment to provide customers with superior safety,” said Chrysler Brand CEO Chris Feuell. “Pacifica remains the ideal choice for anyone seeking the greatest combination of safety, innovative technology and value.”

It was in 2020, that the IIHS adjusted its ratings system in order to incorporate other car factors, such as lights and Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB) technology. This standard, vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) AEB equipment on the latest Chrysler Pacifica rated “superior” according to IIHS standards, the highest possible grade that a vehicle can get.

It makes use of a mash-up of camera technologies and radar sensors that was augmented to ensure a wider field of view. Fusing the two methods of object detection (otherwise known as sensor-fusion) also allows for redundancy, which in turn betters the system’s performance.

The AEB system, which is making its way across the product lineup of Stellantis as standard gear, senses when there may be an impending collision. If this is the case or there is a detection, visual and audible alerts will be activated. Should the driver fail to respond in a timely manner, the system may trigger the car’s brakes to help prevent a crash or reduce its severity.

The Pedestrian AEB capability of the Pacifica received an “advanced” rating. Additionally, it received a “good” grade (the highest possible) among the six main crashworthiness tests administered by IIHS:

  • Small overlap front (driver side)
  • Small overlap front (passenger side)
  • Moderate overlap, front
  • Side impact
  • Roof strength
  • Head restraints and seats

The 2022 Chrysler Pacifica is the only North American vehicle in the minivan segment that has second-row Stow ‘n Go seating. This feature gives owners the convenience of folding the seats inside of the floor. The vehicle also has an available all-wheel-drive (AWD) system.

The AWD technology in this Chrysler model easily engages at various speeds, with the need for activation by the driver. Should the Pacifica’s wheels lose traction, the system will automatically transfer available engine torque to the wheels with more grip, for increased control.

The Chrysler company has received over 160 industry honors and accolades for the Chrysler Pacifica, making it the car industry’s most award minivan for six consecutive years.

Miami Lakes Chrysler

If you want to see this award-winning minivan for yourself, visit our website, Miami Lakes Automall. We carry an extensive range of vehicles from the brand such as the Pacifica, its Hybrid model, and the 300 sedan.

Reasons Why The 2022 Chrysler 300 Is Truly Irresistible

Monday, February 14th, 2022

Super Bowl LVI headliner, Eminem (who collaborated with the brand in 2011) might be excited about new things that the Chrysler company has in store for 2022. The subsidiary of Stellantis will be in similar likeness to that of the 2021 Chrysler 300, but it has a few upgrades up its sleeve.

While many critics have been saying for years that the 300 sedan is a dying vehicle, there are still more than enough buyers that appreciate this one-of-a-kind vehicle. Here are all of the things that Make The 2022 Chrysler 300 Truly Irresistible.

The Extra Horsepower

Chrysler’s 300 S is undoubtedly the most favored among potential shoppers, particularly due to all of that extra horsepower. Previously producing an already healthy output of 292 horsepower, the 2022 model year has now increased to 300 horses.

While the 6.4-L Hemi V8 is no longer in service, this full-sized sedan is still the only one in its segment to offer both a V6 and V8 motor. Each model is powered by a 3-6-liter engine, but the S trim has an engine calibration and sport-tuned exhaust, which allows it to get to higher speeds.

Various Trim Levels

Over the years, Chrysler has let go of some popular trims from the 300, but it still offers great variety. It now encompasses models like the Touring, Touring L, S, C, and special SRTs. It is worth noting, however, that the C trim is only accessible in Mexico, while the special SRT is only accessible in Australia and the Middle East.

The current color palette of the 2022 model year includes bright white, gloss black, silver mist, granite crystal, velvet red, and frostbite. The highlighting 300 S is the most flashy with its sportier framework, but the Touring L can still show off with its newly standard Sports package. This bundle includes 20-inch wheels, black exterior badging, a performance front fascia with cool LED fog lamps.

Additionally, all of the latest 300s have a standard rear-wheel-drive (RWD) setup.

Fuel Economy and Drive

While the 2022 Chrysler 300 is indeed energetic, it knows how to conserve its energy, as its ratings come out to 19 mpg for the city and 30 mpg for the highway from its standard 3.6-L engine. It’s no wonder why this engine has won awards in other Stellantis brands like Dodge and Jeep.

The Touring and Touring L trim levels also offer optional all-wheel-drive (AWD), with all models using an 8-speed automatic transmission.

Driving-wise, the 300 S provides the best experience. It’s sharp with its responses and has paddle shifters that allow owners to make their own gear changes (if they desire). The V8 can get to 60 mph in under 6 seconds.

Miami Lakes Chrysler

The 2022 Chrysler 300 has a Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) of $33,545, (plus destination fee) for the base Touring trim. When the time comes to purchase this vehicle, be sure to do it at Miami Lakes Automall. We carry a wide range of vehicles from the brand ranging in various shapes and sizes.

Electrified Chrysler and Jeep Models Are Getting New Wall Chargers

Monday, January 24th, 2022

New Wall Chargers

For those who currently own an adventurous Jeep Grand Cherokee 4xe or Jeep Wrangler 4xe, or perhaps even a family-oriented Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid, Mopar, the parts and service division of Stellantis, is bringing in a useful piece of new gear that should provide more practicality in the ownership experience. Owners will soon be in possession of a new at-home wall charger that comes either as a plug-in or hardwired version, and supplies 7.7 kW of power.

With these means, a full charge can be provided to Stellantis electrics in just two hours, which is six times faster than its current Level 1, 120-volt charger. Further tacking on suitability, the new Level 2 unit brings along Wi-Fi connectivity which enables owners to keep track and control the charging of their car through a mobile app or web portal.

Energy Star, a program run by the Environmental Protection Agency and U.S. Department of Energy, has certified every new charging unit and has also optimized for a balance between accessibility, effectiveness, and cost. Doing this makes it easier for buyers to reduce their energy consumption and lower their spending by having the option charge at low-rate times. Additionally, this makes a way for them to engage in energy credit programs, if they’re available.

The Mopar division says that the wall charger is portable, lightweight, lockable, and weatherproof, meaning that it’s an ideal piece of equipment for indoors and outdoors. The suggested retail price is $599, and each unit comes with a three-year warranty. One can also order the unit with a Chrysler and Jeep-branded faceplate.

“Our new factory-backed at-home Level 2 plug-in charging units offer a quick, seamless charging solution for Jeep 4xe and Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid owners,” said Mark Bosanac, North America vice president, Mopar Service, Parts & Customer Care. “At Mopar, we’ll continue to enhance the customer experience and expand our electric-vehicle portfolio of accessories.”

Mopar’s new wall charger signifies what we should expect out of the Stellantis Group during this decade, as their products are currently on grease wheels regarding its electrified products. One of these products includes the Chrysler Airflow concept, which is a preview of how the manufacturer is aiming to expand into a principally-electric company by 2028 by exploiting all of the capabilities of the STLA Large electric platform.

Earlier this month we discussed how Chrysler announced its plans to release its first electric model by 2025. So far, the plan is to introduce the Airflow as a crossover that is energized by a dual-motor and has enough battery capacity to get up to 400 miles of range. Outside of that, the car may also have new connectivity features that include an operating system dubbed the STLA Brain, which will make way for over-the-air updates.

At Miami Lakes Automall, we sell an excellent group of vehicles from the Chrysler brand that range in various shapes and prices, such as with their Pacifica Hybrid minivan.

Chrysler CEO Reveals Brand Will Debut Three New Electric Models by 2028

Tuesday, January 18th, 2022

New Details On Chrysler EV Transition

Following the debut of Chrysler’s Airflow concept, CEO Christine Feuell is telling us even more details about the company’s future EV lineup. Feuell revealed to MotorTrend, that it is a “certainty” that Chrysler will have more offerings in 2028 than its current three nameplates: The 300, Pacifica, and Voyager (fleet-only).

This handsome crossover concept is only a shadow of what we have in store, despite the fact that the automaker has avoided saying whether or not it’s fully committing to the actual launching of the production version.

To be frank, Feuell said that the Airflow concept wouldn’t even go into production, and she wasn’t even completely sold on using the Airflow moniker. However, the CEO did reveal that the company’s first production electric model will gain much of the concept’s design features and technology.

Set to release in 2025, the EV will be developed on the STLA Large platform, along with all of the brand’s upcoming productions. However, if it’s worth going off of the Airflow, the new crossover will encompass a 118-kWh battery pack providing a range of 350-400 miles.

Following the arrival of the production model, Chrysler will then introduce “one or two” more electric SUVs. Despite Feuell refraining from going into much detail, one of the new vehicles will probably be a full-size SUV, considering that the almost-Airflow will be a 2-seater midsize electric crossover. We’re also entertaining the possibility of a three-row midsize model.

We also can’t forget the minivan segment. In spite of the extensive rise of SUV sales, Feuell says that minivans are still important to Chrysler and will make it through the EV transition.

However, one should expect a simple switch from a gasoline-powered Pacifica to a fully electric one, as the automaker wants a “fresh perspective” on what their minivan can be.

While the CEO didn’t reveal an exact timeframe for the next-generation minivan, or what she would call a “multi-purpose vehicle,” it’s quite possible, given that the Pacifica is still in its fifth year, a newcomer will likely arrive after the company’s planned electric SUVs.

Although it’s debatable whether or not the future will be kind to the 300 sedan, especially since Feuell didn’t confirm (or deny) that there will be a next-generation 300. Regardless, the current model will wave goodbye in 2024, as well as its platform roommates, the Dodge Charger and Challenger. While Dodge models will be swapped out by a new EV muscle car in 2024 (also constructed on the STLA Large platform), the 300 might not be so lucky.
