The 2021 Chrysler Pacifica and 2021 Jeep Wrangler Make It To Autotraders List of Best Cars For Dog Lovers

For the third year in a row, car site, online car marketplace, Autotrader is acknowledging the 2021 Chrysler Pacifica and 2021 Jeep Wrangler by putting them on their list of 10 Best Cars for Dog Lovers.

This honor was given this week, on Aug, 23, as Autotrader revealed its list for 10 Best Cars for Dog Lovers. Since there are many families who prefer to travel by road during their vacation, the online retailer is ever helpful to owners who are looking for a car that provides comfort, durability, and overall convenience for their family members, and their hairier ones.

“Dog lovers tend to bring their furry buddies everywhere with them, so it’s a real decision-making factor for many shoppers when they are considering which new car to buy,” said Brian Moody, executive editor for Autotrader. “Whether you tend to bring your pet along for everyday errand running or you regularly take your dog on long trips, it’s important to consider your canine companion and which related features are important to you while car shopping.”

The Pacifica minivan isn’t too shy when it comes to recognitions such as these. In fact, this Chrysler vehicle is actually the most awarded minivan over the last five years with more than 155 honors and industry accolades. Likely contributing to this factor is the brand’s unique Stow ‘n Go seating, which enables seats to fold into the floor to increase storage space, thus more room for your pet-friendly essentials. Extra features for your furry friend includes the FamCam interior camera, which lets occupants in the front seat monitor happenings in the rear, and even zooms in if they desire.

Then, the fun and fabulous Jeep Wrangler isn’t just the bee’s knees when it comes to off-roading, it’s also the preferred choice for pet lovers. This is due to available features such as the Sky One-Touch Power-Top and the new Sunrider Flip Top for Hardtop, which allows drivers and their four-legged critters to enjoy the fresh air whenever they’d like. However, for owners who prefer something a bit more tranquil, Stellantis is offering its first electric 49-MPGe Jeep Wrangler 4xe, which has even more off-roading capabilities but without the off-roading noise. On top of this, new for this year are even more Wrangler trucks to choose from, including the latest Jeep Wrangler 392 and Xtreme Recon Package with 35-inch tires coming hot off the press.

Mopar, the parts, service and customer care division of Chrysler has accessories available to act as a companion of these accommodating features of both the Pacifica and the Wrangler. Pet owners can select equipment ranging from a lightweight Mopar pet kennel to all-weather floor mats and cargo mats.

Chrysler Is Still Alive and Electrified

Last month (July 2021), Stellantis hosted Electric Vehicle Day, and it was during this event where they presented a thorough electrification strategy. Class-leading vehicles were also showcased, like the electric Ram 1500,  Jeep Grand Cherokee plug-in hybrid, and electric Dodge muscle car. The automaker also made sure not to leave its wild-card subsidiary out, the Chrysler brand.

The multinational automaker gave viewers on the webisode a sneak peek at their plans with some images of their Chrysler premium EV concept that is constructed upon the group’s STLA Large platform, while also detailing some of its plans.

At the current moment, Chrysler only has a trickle of models available in the North American market, such as the award-winning Pacifica minivan and the iconic 300 sedan. However, Stellantis’s CEO, Carlos Tavares commented earlier this year that the subsidiary would play a significant role in the manufacturer’s portfolio from this time on.

For quite some time, Stellantis has been constructing an SUV-shaped vehicle, deriving a bit from cars such as the Java and Portal concepts. From the outside looking in, it seems that there is some promise for Chrysler’s future, which we can thank the parent company’s announced electric revamp.

Exterior

The electric contraption, which was introduced by Chrysler’s Chief Design Officer Ralph Gilles, seems like the vehicle is already in pre-production rather than a simple design piece, which could mean that the wait for this vehicle may not be that long from an official reveal and eventual release.

Its long and thin LED headlights interlocking with a top grille and Chrysler wing was an athletic look to it, while the larger lowered grille hardly looks like a grille at all and more like a visual piece.

The side view has a hint of intensity and a sporty touch, with certain features like the floating roof design, fused door handles, and large, two-toned wheels. We don’t see much of anything from the rear, but we can deduce that there is a sloped back end and horizontal tail light lights, which are tasteful choices. Gilles said that Stellantis design studios have been working on the STLA Large platform and the cars derived from it for quite some time.

Interior

Moving indoors, we see high-tech this and multimedia that, even more so with the number of digital displays. The center dashboard is the largest of all fixed devices, corresponding with the fully digital instrument panel placed behind the steering wheel. Passengers in both the front and rear will have large screens at their disposal. Extra features in the front include a rotary shifter, dual cup holders, a flat bottom, and top steering wheel, a steering wheel with flattened top and bottom, as well as contoured seats.

Performance

We’ve also learned that the vehicles on the STLA Large platform will have batteries that range from 101 to 118 kWh. It’s estimated that the range will reach up to 500 miles in the ideal scenario. This platform will also be compatible with two electric drive modules or EDM, with one having outputs that range from 125 to 180 kW, while the other ranges from 150 to 330 kW.

When Will We See The Production Model?

We still don’t know about a specific release date. On the other hand, the company did make a declaration that in the year 2024, we should expect a major electric revolution. If this Chrysler model is released, it may get the moniker ATLANTIC, since Stellantis filed a trademark for the application name in 2020, which is still pending.

While Chrysler still may have ways to go before its concept finally makes it to dealerships, the company still has its incredible Pacifica Hybrid at its disposal, which you can purchase at Miami Lakes Automall.

The Chrysler Pacifica, Jeep Grand Cherokee, and Ram 1500 Are Awarded For Giving You The Ultimate Satisfaction

The Capture 2021 AutoPacific Vehicle Satisfaction Awards

Last week in July, three vehicles from the Stellantis brand were honored as the winners of the 2021 AutoPacific Vehicle Satisfaction Awards, as they are seen as the most agreeable vehicles on the market according to consumer rating. The specific vehicles worth highlighting are the  Chrysler Pacifica, Jeep Grand Cherokee, and Ram 1500.

Even more so, the Chrysler Pacifica helped to tack on the award for Most Satisfying Minivan to its already impressive list of 155 acclamations and recognitions since its first inception. At the same time, the Jeep Grand Cherokee came out swinging as it peaked as the Most Satisfying Mid-size SUV/ORV. On top of this, Ram’s 1500 truck dominates as the Most Satisfying Full-size Pickup in the AutoPacific poll, which is the surveyor of over 89,000 new car and light truck owners.

“It’s definitely a grand accomplishment to see three of the iconic brands from Stellantis each take home AutoPacific Vehicle Satisfaction Awards for 2021,” said George Peterson, AutoPacific president. “The three models that were voted top in their class (Ram 1500, Jeep Grand Cherokee and Chrysler Pacifica) are clearly cherished and appreciated by the consumers.

“Families continue to realize that a minivan can be the best vehicle for daily, kid-filled runabouts and the Pacifica delivers with impressive braking and handling, sliding doors that allow for easy access to the second row, exterior styling, passenger roominess and overall comfort. Owners give high praise for the Ram 1500’s power and acceleration, soft ride, driver’s seat visibility, looks, braking, overall comfort, and clever cargo storage solutions. While the Grand Cherokee is an all-new model for the 2021 model year with a lucrative new three-row L taking the stage first, the previous generation Grand Cherokee is a renown trophy holder in AutoPacific’s VSAs, with consumers ranking it the most satisfying midsize SUV eight out of the nine past years.”

Chrysler Pacifica

Year after year, the Chrysler brand sets the standard for what one should expect out of a minivan, with fan-favorite Pacifica. This vehicle is the first in its segment to offer gasoline and hybrid powertrains. The automaker is also stepping up its game with the adding of a new top-tier Pinnacle model in the lineup, the offering of an all-wheel-drive system, class-exclusive Stow ‘n Go seats, more standard technologies than any other vehicle in the market, a new FamCAM, wireless charging, the latest Uconnect 5, a sport new look and plenty of conveniences and various storage spots all for the Pacifica 2021 model year. The Pacifica Hybrid provides over 80 miles per gallon equivalent (MPGe) when only driving with the electric charge. The fully electric range is over 30 miles and has a total range of more than 500 miles.

The Chrysler Pacifica continues to serve as the reigning champ as the minivan with the most awards five years in a row, with over 150 honors and industry accolades. It shouldn’t come as a shock that this automaker was the pioneer in introducing the minivan. Through six generations of this car, 116 first have been made, along with about 40 first-time features on the Pacifica. Since 1983, over 15 million minivans have been sold worldwide by the company, which is twice as much as any other manufacturer in over 37 years.

Miami Lakes Auto Mall Jeep Wagoneer

Sharing a Wealth of Knowledge on the Grand Wagoneer

What to Know Before You Know

The Jeep Wagoneer first launched in 1962, but its production came to an end by 1991, eclipsed by the rising popularity of minivans at the time. Without the creation of the Wagoneer, many luxury SUVs of today would not exist. SUVs like the Lincoln Navigator, Cadillac Escalade, and Porsche Cayenne would be mere blueprints. Just thinking of a Ferrari or Lamborghini SUV would’ve been a laughable matter in 1991.

Two decades later, many brands offer the top-tier luxury SUV of the moment. Jeep is ready for a comeback with the new Jeep Wagoneer and Grand Jeep Wagoneer for the 2022 model year. As technology continues to evolve, so does innovation. The Wagoneer is looking to appeal to a new consumer. Here are five things to anticipate with the new 2022 Jeep Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer.

  1. Let’s Talk Engine and Models

When 2022 rolls around, the Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer will make their grand debut on the same platform as the Ram 1500 pickup, the Wagoneers will also incorporate a rear suspension for a tranquil ride for the people in the back. In addition, both vehicles will accommodate a V8 engine.

The Wagoneer will receive a 5.7-liter V8 with 392 horsepower. A 6.4-liter and 471 horsepower power the Grand Wagoneer. With the V8 engines, the powerful SUV catapults to 60 mph in only six seconds.

Where the two Wagoneers differentiate is on the inside. The Wagoneer’sWagoneer’s interior teeter-totters on luxury while the Grand Wagoneer pushes into opulent territory.

  1. The Inside that Counts

Emphasis on luxury here, but many customers were saddened to find no option to include the infamous faux wood trim from the previous Wagoner. Anticipation builds as Jeep may have a change of heart for the Wagoneer as the faux wood meshes into the interior of the Grand Wagoneer. The burnished walnut provides a look that integrates the seats to the door and heightens the look and feel of being inside a warm chestnut. Just open the doors, and seven interior screens will span the dashboard and the rear seats.

  1.  Wagoneer Destinations

Three variations of the 4×4 system are available, and they can traverse through 24 inches of water. The Jeep Quadra-Lift air suspension adds inches in height to the Grand Wagoneer’sWagoneer’s 8-inch ride height. The approach angle is 25 degrees, 24 departure, and 22 breakover.

The Wagoneer can’t receive a trail-rated badge because it’s too big. 214.7″ long by 83.6″ wide, the Wagoneer’sWagoneer’s tire print obscures the Yukon and the Navigator’sNavigator’s. In addition, the Wagoneer provides a towing capacity of 10,000-pounds. Who said heavy lifting couldn’t be luxurious.

  1.  Movie Theatre On Wheels

The Wagoneers will both feature the Amazon Fire TV for Auto. Passengers will be allowed to stream content from several interior screens. McIntosh provides quality, equipping the Wagoneer with 23 speakers and a 1375-watt amplifier controlled with Jeep’s Uconnect system. Once Wagoneer consumers find themselves at home, they can walk inside and continue exactly where they left off.

  1. Where’s the Jeep?

Look anywhere, and the Jeep logo won’t be there. Look at the steering column, doors, tailgate, even the grille; you won’t see Jeep anywhere. Jeep’s ambitious when it pertains to familiarity, with its picket-fence and grille as settle reminders. Jeep will begin with the production of both Wagoneer’s and work to expand into the Wagoneer sub-brand.

What the future holds for Wagoneers has not been confirmed. No official announcements were declared, but speculation builds on the potential of a larger model and a plug-in hybrid.
